【Objective】 Kriya River is one of most important rivers in Xinjinag, and the purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of climate change and human activity on its runoff. 【Method】 The study was based on trend analysis, correlation analysis and abrupt change analysis; the contribution of climate change and human activities to the change in the runoff was calculated using the double cumulative curve method and the comparison of slope rate of change of cumulative volume, respectively. 【Result】 The mean annual temperature and runoff showed significant increase from 1958 to 2015, annual precipitation did not show significant variation, while the potential evapotranspiration had decreased significantly. The sudden change in the runoff occurred in 1999, as estimated by the Mann-Kendall method, cumulative distance level method and the ordered clustering method. Using the data from 1958 to 1999 as reference, the contribution of climate change and human activities to the runoff calculated using the double cumulative curve method for 2000—2015 was 59.16% and 40.84%, respectively, and those calculated by the cumulative slope rate were 79.03% and 20.97%, respectively. 【Conclusion】 Climate change is the primary factor influencing the change in the runoff of the Kriya River, followed by human activities.

CO2 flooding plays a significant part in enhancing oil recovery and is essential to achieving CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage). This study aims to understand the fundamental theory of CO2 dissolving and diffusing into crude oil and how these processes vary under reasonable reservoir conditions. In this paper, we primarily use molecular dynamics simulation to construct a multi-component crude oil model with 17 hydrocarbons, which is on the basis of a component analysis of oil samples through laboratory experiments. Then, the CO2 dissolving capacity of the multi-component crude was quantitatively characterized and the impacts of external conditions—including temperature and pressure—on the motion of the CO2 dissolution and diffusion coefficients were systematically investigated. Finally, the swelling behavior of mixed CO2–crude oil was analyzed and the diffusion coefficients were predicted; furthermore, the levels of CO2 impacting the oil's mobility were analyzed. Results showed that temperature stimulation intensified molecular thermal motion and increased the voids between the alkane molecules, promoting the rapid dissolution and diffusion of CO2. This caused the crude oil to swell and reduced its viscosity, further improving the mobility of the crude oil. As the pressure increased, the voids between the internal and external potential energy of the crude oil models became wider, facilitating the dissolution of CO2. However, when subjected to external compression, the CO2 molecules' diffusing progress within the oil samples was significantly limited, even diverging to zero, which inhabited the improvement in oil mobility. This study provides some meaningful insights into the effect of CO2 on improving molecular-scale mobility, providing theoretical guidance for subsequent investigations into CO2–crude oil mixtures' complicated and detailed behavior. To accurately obtain the spatial distribution characteristics of groundwater level in an extremely arid zone and its dynamic change patterns under the influence of human activities, based on the data of 55 groundwater observation wells in the middle and lower reaches of the Kriya River, spatial interpolation of regional groundwater level data were performed using the inverse distance weight, spline function, trend surface, and the ordinary kriging methods. The optimal interpolation method was selected by its accuracy to spatially interpolate the groundwater level data in the study area from 2019 to 2021. The results show that: (1) the ordinary kriging method has the highest interpolation accuracy (MAE = 7.1393, MRE = 0.0058, RMSE = 9.4314) and reflects the spatial and temporal variability and distribution characteristics of groundwater levels with great accuracy. (2)The relationship between surface water–groundwater recharge and discharge in different areas of the river channel in the desert section varies depending on geological structure, surface water seepage, and other elements. (3) Groundwater in the Taklamakan Desert has little effect on groundwater recharge in the Dariyabui Oasis, and changes in groundwater dynamics in the oasis are predominantly influenced by surface runoff. (4) Monthly changes in groundwater levels in the Yutian Oasis are continuous, with 'V' shaped fluctuations, a declining trend in the southern part, no significant change in the central part, and a slight increase in the northern part. These results contribute to the sustainable management of water resources in the Kriya River Basin, provide a basis for groundwater prediction, and offer a reference for studies of other, similar extreme desert area basins. Vegetation and groundwater are important components of the ecological environment of oases in desert hinterlands and their relationship is crucial to ecosystem stability. In this study, Sentinel-2 data for 2016–2022 and measured groundwater burial depths were analysed for the Dariyabui Oasis in the hinterland of the Taklamakan Desert. The spatial and temporal changes in vegetation and groundwater burial depth from 2019 to 2022 were analysed based on the image–element dichotomous model of the normalised difference vegetation index, utilising the inverse distance weight interpolation method, cubic curve regression, image–element difference, slope trend analysis, and the Markov transfer matrix for determining the temporal and spatial response law between the two. Finally, the threshold value of groundwater burial depth for different vegetation cover types was clarified. The fractional vegetation cover of the Dariyabui Oasis showed a slight increase from 2016 to 2022. Vegetation in the northwest and southeast of the oasis increased, whereas vegetation decreased in the mid-north and northeast regions; 5.14% of the total area experienced increased coverage, whereas 3.35% experienced decreased coverage. The depth of groundwater in the oasis showed a pattern of gradual increase from the entrance to the end of the oasis, that is, south to north. The depth of groundwater in the oasis from 2019 to 2022 was stable, with a 4-year average depth of 4.1069 m and a maximum fluctuation of 0.4560 m. The interannual changes in the groundwater level showed an increasing trend in January–April, while groundwater levels showed a decreasing trend in May–July and August–October and remained constant in June–July and October–December. Oasis vegetation cover showed a negative correlation with groundwater depth, with a depth interval for the highest low-cover vegetation distribution of 3–6 m, and an ultimate depth threshold of 7 m. The depth interval with the highest medium-cover vegetation distribution was 3–4 m, that with the highest high-cover distribution was 2–4 m, and the ultimate depth threshold was 6 m. Channel state information (CSI), which is crucial for resource allocation and system performance in time division duplex (TDD) massive multiple‐input multiple‐output (MIMO) systems, is difficult to predict because of the channel's time‐varying nature. To overcome this limitation, a scheme for channel prediction combined with deep learning (DL) is proposed. The system uses a deep neural network (DNN) to interpolate channel estimates from a few received pilot signals and a recurrent neural network (RNN) to train through the current time and the recent historical channel estimates to predict the CSI while the channel is constantly varying. In the end, a mixed neural network of RNN and DNN, is called MRDNN. In addition, the proposed DL‐based method does not rely on the relevant feature information about the channel, such as internal characteristics and parameters of the channel itself or channel statistical information, which improves its effectiveness in practical applications. The results of the simulation show that the MRDNN‐based method is better than the existing methods, like traditional AR method and NL Kalman method, and also can be effective in improving the quality of channel prediction and the performance of the system under the dynamic change scenario of low mobility. Arid regions are considered to be among the most ecologically fragile and highly sensitive to environmental change globally, and land use and land cover conditions in the region directly influence large-scale ecosystem processes. Currently, thanks to diverse remote sensing platforms, geographers have developed an array of land cover products. However, there are differences between these products due to variations in spatio-temporal resolutions. In this context, assessing the accuracy and consistency of different land cover products is crucial for rationalizing the selection of land cover products to study global or regional environmental changes. In this study, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR) is taken as the study area, and the consistency and performance (type area deviation, spatial consistency, accuracy assessment, and other indexes) of the five land cover products (GlobeLand30, FROM_GLC30, CLCD, GLC_FCS30, and ESRI) were compared and analyzed. The results of the study show that (1) the GlobeLand30 product has the highest overall accuracy in the study area, with an overall accuracy of 84.06%, followed by ESA with 75.57%, while CLCD has the lowest overall accuracy of 70.05%. (2) The consistency between GlobeLand30 and CLCD (area correlation coefficient of 0.99) was higher than that among the other products. (3) Among the five products, the highest consistency was found for water bodies and permanent snow and ice, followed by bare land. In contrast, the consistency of these five products for grassland and forest was relatively low. (4) The full-consistency area accounts for 49.01% of the total study area. They were mainly distributed in areas with relatively homogeneous land cover types, such as the north and south of the Tianshan Mountains, which are dominated by bare land and cropland. In contrast, areas of inconsistency make up only 0.03% and are mostly found in heterogeneous areas, like the transitional zones with mixed land cover types in the Altai Mountains and Tianshan Mountains, or in areas with complex terrain. In terms of meeting practical user needs, GlobeLand30 offers the best comprehensive performance. GLC_FCS30 is more suitable for studies related to forests, while FROM_GLC30 and ESRI demonstrate greater advantages in identifying permanent ice and snow, whereas the performance of CLCD is generally average.
