UK Biobank is an open access prospective cohort of 500,000 men and women. Information on the frequency of consumption of main foods was collected at recruitment with a touchscreen questionnaire; prior to examining the associations between diet and disease, it is essential to evaluate the performance of the dietary touchscreen questionnaire. The objectives of this paper are to: describe the repeatability of the touchscreen questionnaire in participants (n=20,348) who repeated the assessment centre visit approximately 4 years after recruitment, and compare the dietary touchscreen variables with mean intakes from participants (n=140,080) who completed at least one of the four web-based 24-hour dietary assessments emailed to participants post recruitment. For fish and meat items, 90% or more of participants reported the same or adjacent category of intake at the repeat assessment visit; for vegetables and fruit, and for a derived partial fibre score (in fifths), 70% or more of participants were classified into the same or adjacent category of intake (Kappa weighted > 0.50 for all). Participants were also categorised based on their responses to the dietary touchscreen questionnaire at recruitment, and within each category the mean group intake of the same food group or nutrient from participants who had completed at least one web-based 24-hour dietary assessment was calculated. The comparison showed that the dietary touchscreen variables, available on the full cohort, reliably rank participants according to intakes of main food groups.

In hardware-in-loop test of the aviation spectra camera, the liquid crystal light valve and digital micro-mirror device could not simulate the spectrum characteristics of the landmark. A test system frame was provided based on the color film for testing the spectra camera; and the spectrum characteristics of the color film was test in the paper. The result of the experiment shows that difference was existed between the landmark and the film spectrum curse. However, the spectrum curse peak should change according to the color, and the curse is similar with the standard color traps. So, if the quantity value of error between the landmark and the film was calibrated and the error could be compensated, the film could be utilized in the hardware-in-loop test for the aviation spectra camera.

An ultraviolet communication system based on ultraviolet(UV) laser and the 4-PPM modulation and demodulation algorithm implemented by FPGA in real time are constructed.The field experiments show that the transmission rate of 40kbit/s and the bit error rate less than 10-4 are realized in the communication system with the UV laser pulse repetition frequency of 20 kHz.

A solution aims on high-speed and real-time hyperspectral image reconstruction from interference data has been proposed. Multi-DSP parallel data processing based on the CPCI Express Standard bus architecture is used in this technique. The presented hardware platform includes two clusters of interconnected DSPs. The interconnection among DSPs in each cluster utilizes topological framework which combines interconnecting Link port architecture and sharing bus storage. Based on the indicated hardware platform, the reconstruction of interference spectroscopy is completed by 8 parallel multi-DSPs from the frame structures of interference data cube. And the separation of frame structures is based on the features of interference date structure and spectroscopy data inverse algorithm. Experimental results demonstrate thathighly accurate spectralreconstruction has been achieved using the 8-DSP parallel processing technique. Compared to image process speed with single DSP, the speedup ratio of proposed technique reaches 7.7. Hence, this technique realizes the requirement of real-time spectral data processing.

With the development of science and technology, the applications of aviation spectral camera becoming more widely. Developing a test system of dynamic target is more important. Aviation spectral camera infinity target simulation system can be used to test the resolution and the modulation transfer function of camera. The construction and work principle of infinity target simulation system were introduced in detail. Dynamic target generator based digital micromirror device (DMD) and required performance of collimation System were analyzed and reported. The dynamic target generator based on DMD had the advantages of replacing image convenient, size small and flexible. According to the requirement of tested camera, by rotating and moving mirror, has completed a full field infinity dynamic target test plan.
