The presence of shadows in images can significantly degrade image quality. To address the challenges, this study utilizes pseudo-illumination regions and logarithmic domain transformations. Firstly, the input shadow image and its corresponding shadow region are segmented and clustered into multiple image blocks. Then, a comprehensive consideration of distance, color, and texture features is employed to construct pseudo illumination regions. Subsequently, the designed logarithmic domain transformation function is utilized for shadow removal. Finally, color correction and optimization of shadow edges complete the overall process. Accurate measurement of urban sprawl is vital for urban planning and management. Urban planning-induced internal structure complexity affects the extent of urban sprawl. In addition, urban sprawl is closely linked to economic development. The study attempts to explore the impact of urban sprawl from an economic-dominated perspective. Thus a City-Ring road-County (CRC) scale framework based on top-down administrative divisions for urban sprawl measurement is proposed: 1) the single-index measurement based on economic activity is applied to calculate urban sprawl; 2) the spatiotemporal pattern of urban sprawl is investigated through a case study in 31 economy-dominated provincial capital cities across China from 2005 to 2015; 3) the impact of economy and land on urban sprawl is explored using correlation analysis. The results indicate that the degree of urban sprawl at the city scale shows an "inverted U-shaped" curve from 2005 to 2015, which represents that the phenomenon of urban sprawl was most severe in 2010. It finds that urban sprawl was more severe in the east and central regions relative to the provincial capitals in the western region, with the situation being most severe in the northeast region. Regions that have been transformed from suburban to urban built-up areas need to be given priority attention by the local government, including population movement, land layout, and fiscal policy, to meet the criteria of the urbanization process. Through correlation analysis, we also found that urban sprawl was influenced by the industry structure and the form of built-up area. The outcome of the study suggests that the data scale is sufficiently small in granularity to provide geographic boundaries for systematic analysis of urban sprawl in multiple administrative regions. Image super-resolution (SR) technology can improve the resolution of images and provide clearer and more reliable remote sensing images of high quality to better serve the subsequent applications. However, when reconstructing high-frequency feature areas of remote sensing images, existing SR reconstruction methods are prone to artifacts that affect visual effects and make it difficult to generate real texture details. In order to address this issue, a texture-detail-enhanced dense generative adversarial network (TDEGAN) for remote sensing image SR is presented. The generator uses multi-level dense connections, residual connections, and Shuffle attention (SA) to improve the feature extraction ability. A PatchGAN-style discrimination network is designed to effectively perform local discrimination and helps the network generate rich, detailed features. To reduce the impact of artifacts, we introduce an artifact loss function, which is combined with the exponential moving average (EMA) technique to distinguish the artifacts generated from the actual texture details through local statistics, which can help the network reduce artifacts and generate more realistic texture details. Experiments show that TDEGAN can better restore the texture details of remote sensing images and achieves certain advantages in terms of evaluation indicators and visualization. In order to adapt map tiles to high resolution display devices, some internet map providers pre-generate and store more than two sizes of map tiles. However, it is inefficient to download larger high-resolution tiles, and they will occupy a larger storage space on map servers. In this paper, a new efficient internet map tile rendering approach on high resolution devices based on bicubic and Laplacian convolution (BLC) is proposed. Based on BLC, a new efficient internet map tile rendering framework is presented. In order to avoid the rough cut edge of tobacco rod caused by the interference between rotary ledger and Hooke cutter, the cutoff process of tobacco rod in ZJ119 filter cigarette maker was analyzed. The equivalent kinematic model for tobacco rod cutting unit was established via studying the interference mechanism between ledger and cutting blade. Three ledger settings were investigated, and corresponding minimum clearances, under which the interference was preventable, were calculated by numerical analysis combining with Adams simulation. The results showed that:1)In the cutoff process of tobacco rod, the interference was mainly caused by the displacement difference between the blade and the ledger in the axial direction of tobacco rod at the points of cutting in and cutting out. 2)The minimum clearances for one-side, both-side, and front- and rear-row clearance settings were 0.63, 0.69 and 0.51 mm respectively.
