The coronene molecules have been bombarded by protons of energy by 75 to 300 keV. The time of flight mass spectrum has been recorded using a two stage Wiley McLaren type spectrometer. A large enhancement in the doubly and triply ionized recoil ion is observed compared to the singly ionized one. The single, double and triple ionization yields have also been calculated using the continuum distorted wave eikonal initial state (CDW EIS) theoretical model and are compared with the experimental results. Experimental double to single ionization yield ratios and triple to single ionization yield ratios have been compared with the theoretical ratios which are found to be much higher w.r. t. the gas atoms. Evaporation peaks due to the loss of several neutral C2H2 and C3H3 are observed corresponding to their parent singly, doubly and triply charge coronene ions. Small fragmentation peaks CnHx+ (n = 3 to 7) are present in the spectra due to higher energy transfer by the projectile to the molecule. The hydrogen losses are observed in the cation, di-cation and tri-cation coronene peak structures. This paper studies four Graph Neural Network architectures (GNNs) for a graph classification task on a synthetic dataset created using classic generative models of Network Science. Since the synthetic networks do not contain (node or edge) features, five different augmentation strategies (artificial feature types) are applied to nodes. All combinations of the 4 GNNs (GCN with Hierarchical and Global aggregation, GIN and GATv2) and the 5 feature types (constant 1, noise, degree, normalized degree and ID -- a vector of the number of cycles of various lengths) are studied and their performances compared as a function of the hidden dimension of artificial neural networks used in the GNNs. The generalisation ability of these models is also analysed using a second synthetic network dataset (containing networks of different sizes).Our results point towards the balanced importance of the computational power of the GNN architecture and the the information level provided by the artificial features. GNN architectures with higher computational power, like GIN and GATv2, perform well for most augmentation strategies. Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) is a commonly used technique to measure neural activation. Its application has been particularly important in identifying underlying neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and Autism. Recent analysis of fMRI data models the brain as a graph and extracts features by graph neural networks (GNNs). However, the unique characteristics of fMRI data require a special design of GNN. Tailoring GNN to generate effective and domain-explainable features remains challenging. In this paper, we propose a contrastive dual-attention block and a differentiable graph pooling method called ContrastPool to better utilize GNN for brain networks, meeting fMRI-specific requirements. We apply our method to 5 resting-state fMRI brain network datasets of 3 diseases and demonstrate its superiority over state-of-the-art baselines. Our case study confirms that the patterns extracted by our method match the domain knowledge in neuroscience literature, and disclose direct and interesting insights. Our contributions underscore the potential of ContrastPool for advancing the understanding of brain networks and neurodegenerative conditions. Medical imaging phantoms are widely used for validation and verification of imaging systems and algorithms in surgical guidance and radiation oncology procedures. Especially, for the performance evaluation of new algorithms in the field of medical imaging, manufactured phantoms need to replicate specific properties of the human body, e.g., tissue morphology and radiological properties. Additive manufacturing (AM) technology provides an inexpensive opportunity for accurate anatomical replication with customization capabilities. In this study, we proposed a simple and cheap protocol to manufacture realistic tumor phantoms based on the filament 3D printing technology. Tumor phantoms with both homogenous and heterogenous radiodensity were fabricated. The radiodensity similarity between the printed tumor models and real tumor data from CT images of lung cancer patients was evaluated. Additionally, it was investigated whether a heterogeneity in the 3D printed tumor phantoms as observed in the tumor patient data had an influence on the validation of image registration algorithms. A density range between -217 to 226 HUs was achieved for 3D printed phantoms; this range of radiation attenuation is also observed in the human lung tumor tissue. The resulted HU range could serve as a lookup-table for researchers and phantom manufactures to create realistic CT tumor phantoms with the desired range of radiodensities. The 3D printed tumor phantoms also precisely replicated real lung tumor patient data regarding morphology and could also include life-like heterogeneity of the radiodensity inside the tumor models. An influence of the heterogeneity on accuracy and robustness of the image registration algorithms was not found.

We present the experimental realization of spectrally tunable, ultrashort, quasi-monochromatic extreme ultraviolet (XUV) pulses generated at 100 kHz repetition rate in a user-oriented gas high harmonic generation (GHHG) beamline of the Extreme Light Infrastructure - Attosecond Light Pulse Source (ELI ALPS) facility. Versatile spectral and temporal shaping of the XUV pulses are accomplished with a double-grating, time-delay compensated monochromator accommodating the two composing stages in a novel, asymmetrical geometry. This configuration supports the achievement of high monochromatic XUV flux (2.8+/-0.9*1e10 photons/s at 39.7 eV selected with 700 meV FWHM bandwidth) combined with ultrashort pulse duration (4.0+/-0.2 fs using 12.1+/-0.6 fs driving pulses) and small spot size (sub-100 um). Focusability, spectral bandwidth, and overall photon flux of the produced radiation were investigated covering a wide range of instrumental configurations. Moreover, complete temporal (intensity and phase) characterization of the few-femtosecond monochromatic XUV pulses - a goal that is difficult to achieve by conventional reconstruction techniques - has been realized using ptychographic algorithm on experimentally recorded XUV-IR pump-probe traces. Employing the $^{11}$B(p,$\gamma$)$^{12}$C nuclear reaction, the angular correlation of $e^+e^-$ pairs was investigated in the angular range of $40^\circ\Theta\leq 175^\circ$ for five different proton energies between E$_p$ = 1.50 - 2.50 MeV. At small angles ($\Theta\leq 120^\circ$), the results can be well interpreted by the internal pair creation process of electromagnetic radiations with E1 and M1 multipolarities and by the external pair creation in the target backing. However, at angles greater than $120^\circ$, additional count excess and anomalies were observed, which could be well accounted for by the existence of the previously suggested hypotetical X17 particle. Our results show that the X17 particle was generated mainly in E1 radiation. The derived mass of the particle is $m_\mathrm{X}c^2$=17.03$\pm 0.11 (stat) \pm 0.20 (syst)$ MeV. According to the mass, and to the derived branching ratio ($B_x=3.6(3)\times10^{-6}$), this is likely the same X17 particle, which we recently suggested for describing the anomaly observed in the decay of $^8$Be and $^4$He., Comment: 5 pages, 4 figures. arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:2104.10075, arXiv:2205.07744, arXiv:1910.10459

We present the design and implementation of a new, modular gas target suitable for high-order harmonic generation using high average power lasers. To ensure thermal stability in this high heat load environment, we implement an appropriate liquid cooling system. The system can be used in multiple-cell configurations allowing to control the cell length and aperture size. The cell design was optimized with heat and flow simulations for thermal characteristics, vacuum compatibility and generation medium properties. Finally, the cell system was experimentally validated by conducting high-order harmonic generation measurements using the 100 kHz high average power HR-1 laser system at the Extreme Light Infrastructure Attosecond Light Pulse Source (ELI ALPS) facility. Such a robust, versatile and stackable gas cell arrangement can easily be adapted to different experimental geometries in both table-top laboratory systems and user-oriented facilities, such as ELI ALPS.

Angular correlation spectra of $e^+e^-$ pairs produced in the $^{7}$Li($p$,$\gamma$)$^{8}$Be nuclear reaction have been studied at the sharp $E_p$= 441 keV resonance as well as at $E_p$= 650 keV, 800 keV and 1100 keV proton beam energies. The spectra measured at the resonance can be understood through the M1 internal pair creation process, but in the case of the off-resonance regions (direct proton capture) significant anomalies were observed in the $e^+e^-$ angular correlations supporting the X17 hypothetical particle creation and decay.

Greedy navigation/routing plays an important role in geometric routing of networks because of its locality and simplicity. This can operate in geometrically embedded networks in a distributed manner, distances are calculated based on coordinates of network nodes for choosing the next hop in the routing. Based only on node coordinates in any metric space, the Greedy Navigational Core (GNC) can be identi ?ed as the minimum set of links between these nodes which provides 100% greedy navigability. In this paper we perform results on structural greedy navigability as the level of presence of Greedy Navigational Cores in structural networks of the Human Brain.

High-repetition-rate attosecond pulse sources are indispensable tools of time-resolved studies of electron dynamics, such as coincidence spectroscopy and experiments with high demands on statistics or signal-to-noise ratio, especially in case of solid and big molecule samples in chemistry and biology. Although with the high-repetition-rate lasers such attosecond pulses in a pump-probe configuration are possible to achieve, until now only a few such light sources have been demonstrated. Here, by shaping the driving laser to an annular beam, a 100-kHz attosecond pulse train (APT) is reported with the highest energy so far (51 pJ/shot) on target (269 pJ at generation) among the high-repetition-rate systems (> 10 kHz) in which the attosecond pulses were temporally characterized. The on-target pulse energy is maximized by reducing the losses from the reflections and filtering of the high harmonics, and an unprecedented 19% transmission rate from the generation point to the target position is achieved. At the same time, the probe beam is also annular, and low loss of this beam is reached by using another holey mirror to combine with the APT. The advantages of using an annular beam to generate attosecond pulses with a high average power laser is demonstrated experimentally and theoretically.
