Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between circulating cytokines and liver function and prognosis of patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) treated with radiotherapy combined with tislelizumab and anlotinib. The liver function indexes and pre-treatment levels of cytokines in 47 patients were measured by chemical method and flow cytometry. The median follow-up was 23.1 months. The objective response and the disease control rates were 46.8% and 68.1%, while overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) were 12.6 and 11.4 months, respectively. The unconsolidated sandstone in hydrothermal geothermal field in Jianghan basin is taken as the research object. The hydrostatic pressure is applied to a geostress equal to 12.5 MPa. After the deformation of sample is stabilised, the evolution and mechanism of the permeability of unconsolidated sandstone under the compaction of high hydrostatic pressure are studied, which can provide some suggestions for the selection of equipment operating parameters for the tailwater recharge process in the hydrothermal geothermal field. The results indicate that under high hydrostatic pressure compaction, the permeability of unconsolidated sandstone samples tends to be a constant valued of 4.0×103 m2 within the current range of 0.5 mL/min to 3.0 mL/min. The pressure difference between the two ends of the sample increases nonlinearly with time and the degree of nonlinearity gradually increases with the increase of flow rate, but eventually tends to be stabilised. In addition, the sample of unconsolidated sandstone forms a tubular erosion channel in the direction of penetration, extending to about 2/3 of the sample. Based on the stop time of particle transportation and the extension length of tubular erosion channel in the penetration direction, the average migration velocities of particles under different flow rates are determined. It is found that the particle migration velocity increases exponentially with the increase of flow rate, and the amount of microparticle migrated per unit time increases. When the pressure difference exceeds about 1/2 of the hydrostatic pressure, the sample presents erosion damage and upstream diameter shrinkage.

Objective To investigate the influence of body mass index (BMI) and abdominal girth index (AGI) on the location and etiology of ischemic stroke in order to determine whether they can predict the etiology and pathogenesis of ischemic stroke. Methods A total of 185 patients with acute ischemic stroke and 155 cases of normal controls matched in sex, age and past medical history were enrolled in this study. Their height and weight were measured to calculate BMI, and abdominal circumference was measured to calculate AGI. Oxfordshire Community Stroke Project (OCSP) and TOAST classification were carried out. Results BMI of overweight (BMI 24.00-27.90 kg/m2) subgroup (t = 2.060, P = 0.000) and obesity (BMI ≥ 28 kg/m2) subgroup (t = 2.315, P = 0.000) in patients with ischemic stroke was significantly higher than that in control group. AGI of abnomaly (AGI > 1 cm/kg) subgroup in patients with ischemic stroke was significantly higher than that in control group (t = 1.021, P = 0.000). Based on OCSP classification, 185 patients with ischemic stroke were classified into 10 (5.41%) of total anterior circulation infarct (TACI), 81 (43.78%) of partial anterior circulation infarct (PACI), 56 (30.27%) of lacunar infarct (LACI) and 38 (20.54%) of posterior circulation infarct (POCI). Only the PACI ratio among different BMI subgroups had statistical significance (H = 7.041, P = 0.011). PACI ratio in BMI 24.00-27.90 kg/m2 subgroup was significantly higher than that in BMI < 18.50 kg/m2 subgroup (Z = 4.823, P = 0.028), 18.50-23.90 kg/m2 subgroup (Z = 3.157, P = 0.026) and ≥ 28 kg/m2 subgroup (Z = 2.076, P = 0.015). In AGI subgroups, only POCI ratio in AGI ＞1 cm/kg subgroup was significantly higher than that in AGI ≤ 1 cm/kg subgroup (χ2 = 6.624, P = 0.010). In TOAST classification, 185 patients with ischemic stroke were classified into 59 (31.89%) of large artery atherosclerosis (LAA), 57 (30.81%) of small artery occlusion (SAO), 32 (17.30%) of cardioembolism (CE), 17 (9.19%) of stroke of other determined etiology (SOE) and 20 (10.81%) of stroke of undetermined etiology (SUE). LAA ratio (H = 21.597, P = 0.000) and SAO ratio (H = 29.908, P = 0.000) among different BMI subgroups had statistical significance. LAA ratio in BMI ≥ 28 kg/m2 subgroup was significantly higher than that in < 18.50 kg/m2 subgroup (Z = 9.263, P = 0.020), 18.50-23.90 kg/m2 subgroup (Z = 18.780, P = 0.000) and 24.00-27.90 kg/m2 subgroup (Z = 6.817, P = 0.009). SAO ratio in BMI 18.50-23.90 kg/m2 subgroup was significantly higher than that in < 18.50 kg/m2 subgroup (Z = 7.404, P = 0.007), 24.00-27.90 kg/m2 subgroup (Z = 22.849, P = 0.000) and ≥ 28 kg/m2 subgroup (Z = 12.025, P = 0.001). In AGI subgroups, LAA ratio in > 1 cm/kg subgroup was significantly higher (χ2 = 11.461, P = 0.001), while SOE ratio was significantly lower ( χ2 = 4.558, P = 0.033) than that in AGI ≤ 1 cm/kg subgroup. Conclusions BMI and AGI can influence the location and etiology of ischemic stroke, which can be used to predict the etiology and pathogenesis of ischemic stroke. Strong East Asian winter monsoon (EAWM) can enhance the Maritime Continent rainfall (MCR) via frequent southward penetration of cold air along the coast of East Asia. However, such impact diminished after the late‐1990s, primarily due to the weakened covariation between the Siberian high and Aleutian low (AL). During 1979–1998, the co‐variability between the Siberian high and AL facilitates a strong east‐west pressure gradient over East Asia. The resultant northerlies invade southward and facilitate the enhanced MCR. In contrast, such covariation is weak during 2000–2018, and it impedes the southward invasion of northerly winds and diminishes EAWM's impact. Further inspections indicate that the weakened covariation is primarily caused by the reduced variability of the AL. The underlying mechanism is confirmed by the historical simulation of version 6 Model for Interdisciplinary Research on Climate (MIROC6) that participates in phase 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project and numerical experiments with European Center‐Hamburg atmospheric model version 6.3 (ECHAM6). Plain Language Summary: East Asian winter monsoon (EAWM) is an important extratropical system to drive the variations of the Maritime Continent rainfall (MCR) via frequent southward penetration of cold air along the coast of East Asia. However, the EAWM's impact becomes diminished after the late‐1990s, and it is primarily rooted in the weakened covariation between the Siberian high (SH) and Aleutian low (AL). During 1979–1998, the co‐variability between the SH and AL causes a strong east‐west pressure gradient over East Asia. The resultant northerly winds invade southward along the coast of East Asia and facilitate the enhanced MCR. In contrast, during 2000–2018, the covariation is weak and diminishes EAWM's impact. Further analysis indicates that it is the weakened AL variability that determines the weakening of the covariation between the SH and AL. The phenomenon and the underlying mechanism are confirmed by the climate models. This study highlights the interdecadal variations of the EAWM in linking the Asian winter climate.
