- Abstract
The Mediterranean islands are exceptionally rich in endemism, most of which is narrowly distributed. Conservation measures, such as protected areas, have been prioritised, mainly on the basis of species richness and endemism, but phylogenetic information should also be taken into account. In this study, we calculated several taxonomic and phylogenetic metrics at a high resolution for the endemic flora of the Balearic Islands (154 taxa), in order to identify (i) the spatial patterns and environmental factors that explain this endemism, (ii) hotspots of species and phylogenetic endemism, and (iii) gaps in the protected areas. The taxonomic and phylogenetic metrics showed different distribution patterns, but the mountainous areas of Mallorca, and some coastal areas of the Balearic Islands, have the highest values. These values were positively related to elevation, precipitation, temperature, and slope, and negatively related to the distance from the coast, aspect, and the temperature of the wettest quarter. We identified top grid hotspots where all the metrics had the highest values, and we also identified nano-hotspots within these hotspots, in some of the highest peaks of Mallorca, where most of these metrics’ maximum values coincided. 6. 'Dracocephalum ruyschiana' (Lamiaceae): first record for Spain

- Abstract
Dracocephalum ruyschiana L. is an Eurasian continental spe-cies with a fragmented distribution extending from the boreal regions to the Asian steppes and European mountains. In the Pyrenees it is only known from three locations in France, but two of them have not been rediscovered in modern times, and there are no citations in Spain or Andorra. In summer 2021 a population was found in the Val d’Aran (Catalan Pyrenees, Spain). A complete description is presented, and an identification key is included as an amendment for their taxonomic treatment in Flora iberica. Its current Pyrenean distribution, habitat and phenology are also reported. The conservation status is evaluated under the IUCN regional and national levels., Dracocephalum ruyschiana L. es una especie Euroasiática continental con una distribución fragmentada que se extiende desde las regiones boreales hasta las estepas asiáticas y montañas europeas. En los Pirineos solo se conoce de tres localidades en Francia, pero dos de ellas no han sido redescubiertas en tiempos modernos, y no hay citaciones en España o Andorra. En el verano de 2021 se encontró una población en el valle de Aran (Pirineos Catalanes, España). Petrocoptis montsicciana and P. pardoi are two Iberian endemic taxa of Caryophyllaceae family with an unclear taxonomic delimitation, being variously treated as independent species, subspecies or even synonyms. In the present study, allozyme raw data obtained in the early 2000s have been reused with improved tools to survey genetic structure, and complemented with modeling and niche comparative analyses to shed light on species delimitation. Genetic structure was investigated using four approaches: Bayesian clustering, Monmonier’s algorithm, Principal Coordinate Analysis (PCoA), and Analysis of Molecular Variance (AMOVA). Ecological niche differences have been assessed through Ecological Niche Modeling (ENM) using MaxEnt, and Principal Component Analysis using both occurrence records and background climate (PCA-env). Genetic analysis confirms the distinction between both taxa, and the scenario of a progenitor–derivative (P–D) is suggested. In agreement with genetic data, niche analysis shows clear differences between their climate regarding species occurrences and background spaces. Climate divergence could be explained, at least partially, by the abundance of rocks where species live although differences at the microclimate instead of the regional climate should be explored in future research. Given the genetic distinction between P. montsicciana and P. pardoi, both taxa should be regarded as separate ‘Management Units’ (MUs). more...

Entre elles destaquen Alternanthera philoxeroides, Lamium galeobdolon subsp. argentatum, Lasthenia glabrata, Nemophila maculata, Pascalia glauca, Phacelia parryi, Sphagneticola trilobata i Watsonia borbonica ja que s'indiquen les primeres observacions fetes a Catalunya., We provide new data about alien plants in the Catalan Litoral and Prelitoral Range. - Abstract
Herniaria alpina Chaix is a southern European orophyte distributed in the Alps, Apennines and the Pyrenees. In the Pyrenees it is considered a rare species because it is only known from few locations of the northern side (France) and there are no citations in the southern side (Spain). In summer 2018, a population was found in the Catalan Pyrenees (northeastern Iberian Peninsula). A complete description is presented and an identification key is included as an amendment for its taxonomic treatment in Flora iberica. Es revisa la distribució i els requeriments ecològics d'aquest tàxon a Catalunya, i se n'avalua l'estatus d'amenaça., We report data of new populations of Myriostoma coliforme in Catalonia discovered during the last years and expand the knowledge of the area of occupancy of this fungus protected in Catalonia and included in several red lists of European countries. En aquest article hem aplegat una selecció de les citacions que hem cregut més interessants i que ajuden a completar el coneixement florístic dels Prepirineus centrals catalans, especialment el massís de Boumort i serres veïnes. Destaca Aegilops cylindrica, novetat per a la flora de Catalunya; la troballa de noves poblacions de Daphne alpina i Scrophularia pyrenaica, espècies considerades en perill (EN); Carex praecox, Phelipanche camphorosmae i Ph. purpurea subsp. bohemica, considerades insuficientment conegudes (DD); o plantes no indicades abans a les comarques de Lleida (Juncus tenageia subsp. sphaerocarpus i Veronica dillenii), als Prepirineus catalans (Cardamine crassifolia) o bé amb molt poques localitats en aquest territori (Carex umbrosa subsp. huetiana, Epilobium roseum subsp. roseum, Montia fontana subsp. fontana, Noccaea brachypetala, Sisymbrium macroloma, Viola palustris, etc.). Finalment, també incloem un seguit de citacions que omplen l’important buit corològic d’alguns tàxons en aquest sector., We report new data that enhance the knowledge of the flora of the central Catalan Pre- Pyrenees, specially the Boumort massif. Aegilops cylindrica is reported for first time in Catalonia. We present new populations of two species considered Endangered (EN), Daphne alpina and Scrophularia pyrenaica; three species considered Data Deficient (DD), Carex praecox, Phelipanche camphorosmae and Ph. purpurea subsp. bohemica; and plants not indicated in Lleida province (Juncus tenageia subsp. sphaerocarpus and Veronica dillenii), in the Catalan central Pre-Pyrenees (Cardamine crassifolia) or with few localities (Carex umbrosa subsp. huetiana, Epilobium roseum subsp. roseum, Montia fontana subsp. fontana, Noccaea brachypetala, Sisymbrium macroloma, Viola palustris, etc.). Finally, we also report other data that fill the chorological gap for some species in this region., Este artículo incluye una selección de las citas que consideramos más interesantes y que ayudan a completar el conocimiento florístico de los Prepirineos centrales catalanes, especialmente el macizo de Boumort y sierras adyacentes. - Abstract
The PREDICTS project-Projecting Responses of Ecological Diversity In Changing Terrestrial Systems (www.predicts.org.uk)-has collated from published studies a large, reasonably representative database of comparable samples of biodiversity from multiple sites that differ in the nature or intensity of human impacts relating to land use. We have used this evidence base to develop global and regional statistical models of how local biodiversity responds to these measures. We describe and make freely available this 2016 release of the database, containing more than 3.2 million records sampled at over 26,000 locations and representing over 47,000 species. We outline how the database can help in answering a range of questions in ecology and conservation biology. To our knowledge, this is the largest and most geographically and taxonomically representative database of spatial comparisons of biodiversity that has been collated to date; it will be useful to researchers and international efforts wishing to model and understand the global status of biodiversity. more...

- Abstract
The PREDICTS project—Projecting Responses of Ecological Diversity In Changing Terrestrial Systems (www.predicts.org.uk)—has collated from published studies a large, reasonably representative database of comparable samples of biodiversity from multiple sites that differ in the nature or intensity of human impacts relating to land use. We have used this evidence base to develop global and regional statistical models of how local biodiversity responds to these measures. We describe and make freely available this 2016 release of the database, containing more than 3.2 million records sampled at over 26,000 locations and representing over 47,000 species. We outline how the database can help in answering a range of questions in ecology and conservation biology. To our knowledge, this is the largest and most geographically and taxonomically representative database of spatial comparisons of biodiversity that has been collated to date; it will be useful to researchers and international efforts wishing to model and understand the global status of biodiversity. more...

Aportem noves dades corològiques, taxonòmiques i d'interès per a 73 tàxons provinents del territori Catalanídic Central comprès entre les muntanyes de Prades i el riu Ebre. En l'aspecte corològic destaca Poa trivialis subsp. sylvicola i Bromus hordeaceus subsp. mediterraneus com a novetats per a la flora catalana; Brachypodium hybridum, Carex sylvatica subsp. sylvatica, Chenopodium striatiforme, Festuca lemanii, Prunus lusitanica, Scilla hyacinthoides, Vicia pannonica subsp pannonica i molts altres, són tàxons rars que es coneixien d'escassíssimes localitats de Catalunya;2 18 tàxons representen novetats per al migjorn de Catalunya o transcendeixen aquest límit. D'altra banda s'amplien el nombre de localitats i s'augmenta la precisió de dispersió al territori de plantes rares dels complexes orogràfics de les muntanyes de Prades serra de Montsant i serres de Llaberia Colldejou. En l'aspecte nomenclatural i taxonòmic, s'actualitzen i comenten tàxons poc coneguts com Malva tournefortiana i diverses gramínies que pertanyen a grups complexes com alguns Bromus anuals, Poa, i especialment Festuca, on s'estudia amb detall el grup F. rubra F. trichophylla i es descriu un nou tàxon: F. trichophylla subsp. meridionalis S. Pyke & Molero. Finalment s'aporten algunes dades historiogràfiques per valorar la presència actual de Fagus sylvatica al paratge de Poblet., New contributions to the knowledge of the cormophytic flora of Southern Catalonia, with special reference to Prades massif We provide new chorological, taxonomic and other data for 73 taxa found in the Southern Catalonia, which comprises the area between the Prades massif and the river Ebre. As regards chorology, Poa trivialis subsp. sylvicola and Bromus hordeaceus subsp. mediterraneus stand out as being new to the Catalonian flora; Brachypodium hybridum, Carex sylvatica subsp. sylvatica, Chenopodium striatiforme, Festuca lemanii, Prunus lusitanica, Scilla hyacinthoides, Vicia pannonica subsp. pannonica and others, are rare taxa known from few stations in Catalonia; 18 species and subspecies are new for southern Catalonia (Tarragona province) or extend beyond these limits. In addition, new localities are provided, along with increasingprecision concerning plants rare within the Prades Montsant Lllaberia Colldejou orography. Regarding nomenclature and taxonomic questions, we discuss and update certain little-known taxa such as Malva tournefortiana and grasses belonging to the complex genera Bromus (annual species), Poa and especially Festuca, where the F. rubra F. trichophylla group is studied in detail and a new taxon is described: Festuca trichopylla subsp. meridionalis Pyke & Molero. We report data of known Silaum silaus populations in Catalonia, most of which have been discovered recently. For each population we estimated the magnitude of individuals, their geographical range, habitat type, phenology, density, threats and impacts. 28. Do asynchronies in extinction debt affect the structure of trophic networks? A case study of antagonistic butterfly larvae–plant networks.

Habitat loss and fragmentation affect species richness in fragmented habitats and can lead to immediate or time‐delayed species extinctions. Asynchronies in extinction and extinction debt between interacting species may have severe effects on ecological networks. However, these effects remain largely unknown. We evaluated the effects of habitat patch and landscape changes on antagonistic butterfly larvae–plant trophic networks in Mediterranean grasslands in which previous studies had shown the existence of extinction debt in plants but not in butterflies. We sampled current species richness of habitat‐specialist and generalist butterflies and vascular plants in 26 grasslands. We assessed the direct effects of historical and current patch and landscape characteristics on species richness and on butterfly larvae–plant trophic network metrics and robustness. Although positive species‐ and interactions–area relationships were found in all networks, structure and robustness was only affected by patch and landscape changes in networks involving the subset of butterfly specialists. Larger patches had more species (butterflies and host plants) and interactions but also more compartments, which decreased network connectance but increased network stability. Moreover, most likely due to the rescue effect, patch connectivity increased host‐plant species (but not butterfly) richness and total links, and network robustness in specialist networks. On the other hand, patch area loss decreased robustness in specialist butterfly larvae–plant networks and made them more prone to collapse against host plant extinctions. Finally, in all butterfly larvae–plant networks we also detected a past patch and landscape effect on network asymmetry, which indicates that there were different extinction rates and extinction debts for butterflies and host plants. We conclude that asynchronies in extinction and extinction debt in butterfly–plant networks provoked by patch and landscape changes caused changes in species richness and network links in all networks, as well as changes in network structure and robustness in specialist networks. Aportem noves dades corològiques, taxonòmiques i d'interès per a 73 tàxons provinents del territori Catalanídic Central comprès entre les muntanyes de Prades i el riu Ebre. En l'aspecte corològic destaca Poa trivialis subsp. sylvicola i Bromus hordeaceus subsp. mediterraneus com a novetats per a la flora catalana; Brachypodium hybridum, Carex sylvatica subsp. sylvatica, Chenopodium striatiforme, Festuca lemanii, Prunus lusitanica, Scilla hyacinthoides, Vicia pannonica subsp pannonica i molts altres, són tàxons rars que es coneixien d'escassíssimes localitats de Catalunya;2 18 tàxons representen novetats per al migjorn de Catalunya o transcendeixen aquest límit. D'altra banda s'amplien el nombre de localitats i s'augmenta la precisió de dispersió al territori de plantes rares dels complexes orogràfics de les muntanyes de Prades - serra de Montsant i serres de Llaberia - Colldejou. En l'aspecte nomenclatural i taxonòmic, s'actualitzen i comenten tàxons poc coneguts com Malva tournefortiana i diverses gramínies que pertanyen a grups complexes com alguns Bromus anuals, Poa, i especialment Festuca, on s'estudia amb detall el grup F. rubra - F. trichophylla i es descriu un nou tàxon: F. trichophylla subsp. meridionalis S. Pyke & Molero. Finalment s'aporten algunes dades historiogràfiques per valorar la presència actual de Fagus sylvatica al paratge de Poblet., We provide new chorological, taxonomic and other data for 73 taxa found in the Southern Catalonia, which comprises the area between the Prades massif and the river Ebre. As regards chorology, Poa trivialis subsp. sylvicola and Bromus hordeaceus subsp. mediterraneus stand out as being new to the Catalonian flora; Brachypodium hybridum, Carex sylvatica subsp. sylvatica, Chenopodium striatiforme, Festuca lemanii, Prunus lusitanica, Scilla hyacinthoides, Vicia pannonica subsp. pannonica and others, are rare taxa known from few stations in Catalonia; 18 species and subspecies are new for southern Catalonia (Tarragona province) or extend beyond these limits. In addition, new localities are provided, along with increasingprecision concerning plants rare within the Prades - Montsant - Lllaberia - Colldejou orography. Regarding nomenclature and taxonomic questions, we discuss and update certain little-known taxa such as Malva tournefortiana and grasses belonging to the complex genera Bromus (annual species), Poa and especially Festuca, where the F. rubra - F. trichophylla group is studied in detail and a new taxon is described: Festuca trichopylla subsp. meridionalis Pyke & Molero. 35. Distribució, ecologia i estat de conservació de Potamogeton lucens i P. schweinfurthii a Catalunya (NE de la península Ibèrica)

- Abstract
Potamogeton lucens L. i P. schweinfurthii A. Benn. són dues espècies aquàtiques morfològicament similars que fins fa ben poc han estat confoses a Europa. L'objectiu del treball és aclarir i actualitzar la informació sobre la situació actual i històrica d'aquests dos tàxons a Catalunya. El treball es basa en la revisió de material dipositat en diversos herbaris de Catalunya i en les dades de camp recents obtingudes pels autors. Addicionalment s'han estudiat les característiques dels hàbitats on hem localitzat poblacions d'aquestes espècies. S'han documentat 5 localitats segures de P. lucens, però la seva presència recent s'ha constatat en una sola d'aquestes localitats, un estany de muntanya dels Pirineus. Les altres quatre, actualment desaparegudes, es situaven en zones de baixa altitud i poc apartades del litoral a les conques dels rius Tordera i Llobregat. Aquesta regressió històrica està relacionada amb els canvis d'usos i d'ocupació del territori durant el segle XX, que han provocat la dessecació de gran part de les masses d'aigua estancada naturals i una forta eutrofització de les que s'han mantingut. En canvi, P. schweinfurthii no havia estat trobat a Catalunya fins a l'any 2010 i actualment se'n coneixen 3 localitats situades en zones de muntanya mitjana del centre i el nord del territori, en dues de les quals es constata que deu ser un colonitzador recent. La revisió del material dipositat als herbaris catalans no ha permès localitzar cap altre plec d'aquesta espècie. Sobre la base d'informacions actualitzades s'assigna a P. lucens la categoria IUCN En Perill Crític (CR) i a P. schweinfurthii la categoria Vulnerable (VU). L'únic híbrid amb participació d'alguna d'aquestes dues espècies conegut a Catalunya és P. x salicifolius híbrid entre P. lucens i P. perfoliatus documentat a la fi del segle XIX a l'estany de Banyoles i no retrobat., Potamogeton lucens L. and P. schweinfurthii A. Benn. are two aquatic species of similar morphology that have been confused in Europe until recent times. This study aims at elucidating and updating information about the current and historical distribution of both taxa in Catalonia. Data sources were herbaria specimen revisions and field observations. Habitat characteristics of the current populations were also studied. Despite verifying five P. lucens populations, only one has persisted in a high-altitude lake in the Pyrenees. The four disappeared populations were located in lowland areas in the basins of the rivers Tordera and Llobregat. This historical decline relates to changes in land uses and urban sprawl during the 20th century that have led to numerous desiccations and a large degree of eutrophication in the persisting lowland stagnant water bodies. In contrast, P. schweinfurthii was first reported from Catalonia in 2010 and three populations are currently known. They are located in mid-altitude areas at the center and north of the study area and two may be of recent colonization. Vouchers of this species were not found in the surveyed herbaria. Based on the current knowledge, the IUCN category assigned to P. lucens is Critically Endangered (CR) and to P. schweinfurthii is Vulnerable (VU). Regarding hybrids, only P. x salicifolius hybrid between P. lucens and P. perfoliatus was reported from Catalonia at the end of the 19th century at Banyoles lake and has not been found again. more...

En aquest treball aportem noves dades de 35 plantes presents a la Serralada Litoral Central Catalana. Anagallis minima i Ophioglossum lusitanicum són una novetat per a les comarques de Barcelona; a més de les esmentades, Bellardia trixago, Euphorbia sulcata, Iris lutescens, Juncus pygmaeus, Juncus tenageia subsp. tenageia, Mercurialis annua subsp. huetii, Narcissus dubius, Orobanche elatior subsp. icterica, Oryzopsis coerulescens i Scirpus litoralis també són una novetat per a la flora compresa entre el Besòs i la Tordera. Dictamnus albus, Hainardia cylindrica, Isoetes durieui i Serapias vomeracea es consideraven extingides en aquest sector, però aportem noves localitats que en confirmen la presència al territori, Here we report new data concerning 35 plants of the Central Catalan Littoral Range. 43. Potamogeton schweinfurthii in the Iberian Peninsula

- Abstract
We provide the first records for the Iberian Peninsula of Potamogeton schweinfurthii A. Benn., a species distributed mainly in Africa that was not discovered in Europe until 2005, where it is assumed to be indigenous but it has generally been confused with P. lucens. The Iberian specimens, which for the most part are from recent collections, have been identified based on morphological characteristics and molecular studies. We have detected 8 localities, 4 in the northeastern area of the Peninsula (Catalonia and Navarra) and 4 from the West (south and north of Portugal and western Andalusia). Our studies show that it is a very rare species on a regional level. Although it is a mainly tropical and subtropical species, we have found that P. schweinfurthii (both natural populations and those cultivated) has a high tolerance to climates with severe winters and frequent frosts. The large proportion of populations found in anthropogenic habitats, and the fact that most European records are from the past half-century, suggest that P. schweinfurthii may have experienced a recent expansion favoured by the construction of large number of artificial water bodies in the Mediterranean region. This raises the possibility that P. schweinfurthii in Europe is a species that forms temporary populations and has a naturally unstable area., Se aportan las primeras citas de Potamogeton schweinfurthii A. Benn. en la Península Ibérica, una especie de área básicamente africana que no fue descubierta en Europa hasta 2005, donde se supone que es autóctona y en general había sido confundida con P. lucens. Los ejemplares ibéricos han sido identificados por sus caracteres morfológicos y por estudios moleculares y, en su mayor parte, proceden de recolecciones recientes. Se ha detectado en 8 localidades, 4 del noreste peninsular (Cataluña y Navarra) y 4 del oeste (sur y norte de Portugal y Andalucía occidental). Según la información actualmente disponible, se trataría de una especie muy rara a escala regional. Aunque se trata de una especie en general tropical y subtropical, se ha constatado la gran tolerancia de P. schweinfurthii a climas de inviernos rigurosos, con heladas muy frecuentes, tanto en poblaciones espontáneas como en plantas cultivadas. La alta proporción de poblaciones halladas en hábitats antrópicos y la concentración de las citas europeas en el último medio siglo sugieren que puede haber experimentado una expansión reciente favorecida por la construcción en la región mediterránea de gran cantidad de masas de agua artificiales. En aquest treball aportem noves dades de 27 plantes rares trobades recentment al Parc Nacional d'Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici o en àrees properes. De cadascuna, en donem les localitats on l'hem observat i en valorem l'interès fitogeogràfic tenint en compte el coneixement actual de la flora pirinenca. Moltes d'elles són novetat per al catàleg del Parc Nacional o per als Pirineus centrals catalans; per a la resta, n'ampliem o en precisem la distribució, en termes de nous quadrats UTM o d'altitud, i l'ecologia. Destaquen sobretot Vicia argentea Lapeyr., endemisme dels Pirineus centrals que només es coneixia de quatre localitats isolades, i Xatardia scabra (Lapeyr.) Meissn., un interessant paleoendemisme restringit sobretot als Pirineus orientals., Estany de Sant Maurici National Park or in neighbouring areas. For each taxon, we discuss the phytogeographic interest of the new locations, according to the present knowledge of the Pyrenean flora. Most of these taxa are novelties for the National Park or for larger Pyrenean areas. In other cases, the new data improve the distributional or ecological knowledge of rare plants. The two most interesting taxa treated are Vicia argentea Lapeyr., endemism of the central Pyrenees known from only 4 isolated populations, and Xatardia scabra (Lapeyr.) Meissn., paleoendemism mainly restricted to the eastern Pyrenees., En el presente trabajo aportamos nuevas citas para 27 plantas raras, halladas recientemente en el Parque Nacional de Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici o en áreas cercanas. Para cada una, indicamos las localidades donde fue observada, y valoramos su interés fitogeográfico, en relación con el conocimiento actual de la flora pirenaica. S'aporten dades sobre noves poblacions de Woodsia alpina als Pirineus catalans descobertes els últims anys. Per a cada una s'indiquen dades sobre la localitat concreta, l'hàbitat i els efectius poblacionals. Es revisa la distribució i els requeriments ecològics d'aquest tàxon a tota la serralada dels Pirineus, tant en el vessant nord com en el sud, i s'avalua l'estat d'amenaça d'aquest tàxon a Catalunya segons els criteris de la UICN., Data on new populations of Woodsia alpina discovered recent years are reported. Petrocoptis montsicciana and P. pardoi are two Iberian endemic taxa of Caryophyllaceae family with an unclear taxonomic delimitation, being variously treated as independent species, subspecies or even synonyms. In the present study, allozyme raw data obtained in the early 2000s have been reused with improved tools to survey genetic structure, and complemented with modeling and niche comparative analyses to shed light on species delimitation. Genetic structure was investigated using four approaches: Bayesian clustering, Monmonier's algorithm, Principal Coordinate Analysis (PCoA), and Analysis of Molecular Variance (AMOVA). Ecological niche differences have been assessed through Ecological Niche Modeling (ENM) using MaxEnt, and Principal Component Analysis using both occurrence records and background climate (PCA-env). Genetic analysis confirms the distinction between both taxa, and the scenario of a progenitor–derivative (P–D) is suggested. In agreement with genetic data, niche analysis shows clear differences between their climate regarding species occurrences and background spaces. Climate divergence could be explained, at least partially, by the abundance of rocks where species live although differences at the microclimate instead of the regional climate should be explored in future research. The PREDICTS project-Projecting Responses of Ecological Diversity In Changing Terrestrial Systems (www.predicts.org.uk)-has collated from published studies a large, reasonably representative database of comparable samples of biodiversity from multiple sites that differ in the nature or intensity of human impacts relating to land use. We have used this evidence base to develop global and regional statistical models of how local biodiversity responds to these measures. We describe and make freely available this 2016 release of the database, containing more than 3.2 million records sampled at over 26,000 locations and representing over 47,000 species. We outline how the database can help in answering a range of questions in ecology and conservation biology. To our knowledge, this is the largest and most geographically and taxonomically representative database of spatial comparisons of biodiversity that has been collated to date; it will be useful to researchers and international efforts wishing to model and understand the global status of biodiversity. more...
