Public education campaigns and strategically used public relations tactics could enhance broad goals of environmental protection and restoration through building awareness and enticing to action. In case study of Boranka, one of the most successful non-profit ecological campaigns it is presented how by using element of green marketing, smart PR strategies, easy-to-use tools and engaging, emotinal story a number of people could be brought together into collective eco-friendly action. Over the course of four years Boranka resulted in more than 100,000 new trees that have been planted in burned areas throughout Croatia with more than 8,500 volunteers participating in seeding activities while over the HRK 2,170,000 (over the €288,000) was collected in funds and almost HRK 5,000,000 (about €664,000) in material goods, services and advertising space.

Economic growth does not necessarily mean development as well. As an example, Russia has achieved high growth rates through the exploitation of mineral resources. The gross national product (GNP) per capita of Russia has grown, but this growth has not been evenly distributed. Prof. Joseph Stiglitz, an American economist and public policy analyst, argues that unless economic growth is reflected in rising standards, development has failed. Thus, a high GNP per capita does not necessarily mean prosperity and welfare. The equality of society in terms of participation in national wealth is measured by the Gini index as a measure of statistical dispersion intended to represent income inequality or wealth inequality within a nation or a social group. If the Gini Index is 1, only one person owns all the wealth, if it is 0, everyone owns the same. This parameter alone is not overly important because, as an example, Sierra Leone and Burkina Fasso have very low Gini indices, but this means that they are all equally poor. On the other hand, petrodollar economies, if they show the Gini index at all, have extremely high GNP per capita values, but everything is concentrated on a small number of people. The paper compares the GNP per capita and Gini index using statistical methods. After proving the correlation, a model was developed which performed a new ranking of the world economy. It has been proven that the uneven distribution of income relativizes its level, and certain transition points of decline, ie growth of the Gini index, have been determined.

Croatian leather and footwear industry was showing slightly negative trends within last years, and eves since all time high results in 2015 both in number of employed and total revenue, the industry, marked according National Classification of Activities as C15 is constantly declining. Considering that C15 consist of tanning and dressing of leather, manufacture of travel and handbags, saddle and harness products and footwear manufacturers. The trends are different. Decline entirely refers on tanning but footwear manufacturing is still showing good, increasing, trends, until end of the first quarter of year 2020. After outbreak of COVID 19 pandemic and introduction of harsh measure’s in order to prevent its further spread, including the measures which disrupted supply chains, and distribution channels as well, the future seams uncertain. This paper is written at the time when the harsh measures are about to be alleviated and managements of companies are about to face the consequences of lock out that has been enforced all over the world. The purpose of the paper is to determine how unprecedented measures to prevent and bound the pandemic affects on potential week points in industry.

6. Development of a Models of Interpersonal Competencies as a Complex System

- Abstract
Competencies represent a dynamic combination of cognitive and metacognitive skills, knowledge and understanding, interpersonal and practical skills, and ethical values. Sincethere are many entities, as well as many activities between entities, according to system theory, the whole system belongs to complex systems. The paper develops a conceptual and computational model of interpersonal competences for the process of optimization and methodology design, using simulation modeling. The developed model enables: faster data collection, more accurate results, avoiding human error in data entry and processing, survey time can be measured and more easily restricted, NMAR (Not Missing at Random) data is avoided and socially desirable responses are more easily avoided.

Ever since second half of 20-th century national economies are constantly changing and the laborers are migrating among different economic sectors. Those changes are pushed forward by the bilateral free trade agreements at the beginning, and fueled by multilateral trade agreements later on. Foundation of international trade institutions made the world boundless and transformed it into one single market. Such environment made foreign direct investments and foreign outsourcing even more easier and transformation of national economies became more rapid and more radical. The growth rates achieved by developing countries in years 1990. and 2000. are until then unprecedented. The models of such transformations so far had similar pattern, but now is the question whether or not will such patterns be repeated or are there whole new model to be applied in volatile and fast changing world. International trade agreement, which so far used to be leverage of faster development, are being suspended by the countries who used to be leaders in foundation of such agreements and international organizations, and, furthermore, integration processes who strongly marked second half of 20th century, are slowing down and, even more, are changing direction into disintegration processes whose further repercussions are hard to anticipate. Despite new relations who are yet still appearing in the world, process of national economies’ transformations is unrestrainable, but the question is what kind of transformation it shall be. Therefore, a secondary research of available literature is performed, in order to anticipate possible models of economic transformations, and to anticipate preconditions that the national economies are to fulfil and provide in order to achieve further economic growth.

Purpose: The International Animated Film Festival - VAFI was the hallmark event of the Croatian city Varazdin. The Creative Film Studio VANIMA Association since 2010 organizes VAFI - an international animated film festival for children and youth. The festival has an emphasis on the filmmaking of children and young people with the aim of encouraging media literacy. Throughout these ten years, VANIMA often has problems with financial resources for organizing the festival. The purpose of this paper is to identify and discuss the factors, with the emphasis on the funding needed for the festival's growth. Design/methodology/approach: The case of the VAFI festival is analysed using VANIMA's data sources on: festival duration, the number of submitted films, the number of selected films, number of official projections, the number of other programs, number of participants and budget for 10 years. Using descriptive statistics, parameters were determined, while correlation between parameters was determined using Pearson's and Spearman's correlation coefficient. The cause-effect diagram (Ishikawa diagram) was produced, with the result (effect) of a "successful festival". Based on it, a mathematical and computer model was developed, evaluated by statistical nonparametric tests. Findings: The VAFI festival is complex system according to system theory. The results of the study reveal that the festival depends upon a combination of three components, these are: number selected films, number of official projections and the number of other programs. Every of the three components are depending on budget. Originality/value: Very few studies have researched event using modelling as a research method, although the modelling is a recommended priority within the field of festival studies. This study presents a developing predictive model which is adaptive according event and contributes to this area of knowledge and provides relevant information for organizations and host cities.

Globalization forces companies to improve financial performance and system coordination trough new technology, new organization schemes and new strategic approach considering the changes caused by international environment and faster dialectic of time on global scale. Participation of manufacturing in Croatian GDP is showing very volatile trend but within time frame from year 2002. till 2017. it has grown and trend is still positive, although still very volatile. The main jeopardy that Croatian companies are exposed to is lack of labourers which is already very conspicuous and is to become even more in middle term because of negative demographic trends. The decision by companies to enter into a structural changes trough new strategic approach, considering new technologies and new organization schemes inquired by mentioned changes is influenced by the management`s decision and assessment how to maintain and improve company’s profitability and increase the productivity in order to compensate lack of labourers. In other words, companies are forced to use new strategy, technology and organization in order to maintain competitiveness on global scale. The main objective of this paper is to investigate how the companies are using new technologies and organization schemes in order to improve productivity and to create products at same price and better quality with increased cost. Moreover, a qualitative study among companies in manufacturing was conducted in order to get knowledge how the top management in Croatian companies understands the concept of modified strategic approach, new technology and modified organization and to determine factors for successful cost effective operating, and to investigate what impediments are the managers expecting and their predictions how to overcome them.

The topic of World Water Day 2017 was "Wastewater" emphasizing the importance and influence of wastewater treatments on global environment. The international scientific and professional conference Water for all is a gathering of scientists and experts in the field of water management, including chemists, biologists, civil and agriculture engineers, with a goal to remind people about the significance of fresh water and to promote an interdisciplinary approach and sustainability for fresh water resource management. The Conference has been held since 2011. About 300 scientists and engineers submitted 95 abstracts to the 7th International Scientific and Professional Conference Water for all, out of which 33 was presented orally and 62 as posters. 47 full papers were accepted by the Scientific Committee. 38 full papers became the part of the this Proceedings while 9 papers were accepted for publication in Croatian Journal of Food Science and Technology and Electronic Journal of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Osijek - e-GFOS.

12. Restrictions of direct reciprocity and the necessity of gossip in large groups

In this paper, we propose a realistic subtype of tit-for-tat player with a limited memory capacity and with a gradual memory decay. Moreover, the player pays the price proportional to his memory capacity. Using the computer simulations we have shown that the optimal memory capacity for handling the exploiters grows with the group size in a similar way as the relative size of the neocortex grows with the group size of the primates as it was found by Robin Dunbar. The time required for reaching the relative fitness of the defectors asymptotically increases with the group size which points to the conclusion that there is an upper group size limit over which the mechanism of direct reciprocity is insufficient to maintain the cooperation. It seems that above the upper limit it is necessary to allow the horizontal transmission of the information about the free-riders present in the population.

This paper presents the development of information-system model for wastewater treatment. For this purpose, the models of real, complex, engineering systems have been created. The development of an information system model includes the development of conceptual models, mathematical models and a model of dynamic systems. The model enabled the development of the model of the adaptive water purification system. Developed computer model randomly uses variables of the selected values from the theoretical probability distribution of the variables applied. For validation of the model, nonparametric test was applied. The methodology proposed in the work is based on simulations modelling. Additionally, the total adaptive system deadlocks, which may cause material or environmental damage and even affect human health, have been predicted. The control was done by Statistical Process Control (SPC). The characteristic of this process is that there is no lower control limit on the control chart. In this case, upper control limit (3σ) is maximum allowable concentration (MAC), between the limit of 2σ and 3σ there is a risk, and the zone between 1σ and 2σ is the warning zone.

16. Using AHP Method for Making a Decision on How the Management of Sewage Sludge in the Northern Croatia

- Abstract
By 2018, in Croatia, the agglomerations for collecting the sewage and water treatment systems are going to be constructed. All devices will be based on the mechanical-biological method of purification. However, the work of water treatment system produces a problem of sludge management. The paper presents the challenges of wastewater sludge handling and makes a decision on further sludge management. The hierarchical model of the decision making problem by defining the goal, criteria and alternative solutions is developed. On each level of the hierarchical model the elements of the model are compared with each other in pairs, and the preferences are expressed by using the Saaty’s scale. Moreover, the APH model compares the alternative pairs (thermal processing, deposition on agricultural land, disposal to waste repositories and composting) among each others. The intensities and weight preferences of one alternative over another are selected within the required criteria (economic, environmental, organisational and sociological).

The combined approach principle involves reducing water pollution from point and diffused sources. The objective of the combined approach is to reduce water pollution. The combined approach principle considers the quality of wastewater discharged into the receiver and their impact on the receiver. The methodology involves determining the flow of the receiver and effluent flow as well as determining the emission limit values (load of pollutants in the effluent). According to the type of receiver and depending on the discharge of effluent into streams, stagnant or into transitional and coastal waters, daily and annual load values permitted shall be determined. However, to obtain accurate values must be used modeling methods which combined approach solves the differential system-differential equations.

The amount of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) has grown considerably in the last years due to the advancement of technology and shorter life cycle of electric and electronic equipment (EEE). Old CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) monitors are replaced with LCD (Liquid Cristal Display) and plasma monitors. Due to toxic materials such as lead, cadmium, barium, and fluorescent powders that CRT monitors contain they are classified as hazardous waste. In nowadays, there are two possible approaches to the management of waste CRTs, landfilling and recycling. Landfilling is the least waste management option for waste CRTs since they must be disposed on hazardous waste landfill. In accordance with circular economy, recycling is more favourable option but is limited because of high lead concentrations. For purpose of research presented in this paper, front and rear CRT glasses were obtained from treatment facility during 2013, 2014 and 2015. Samples were separately crushed and sieved. Experimental monitoring was carried out in mentioned period in order to determine possible leaching of lead from different fraction sizes of front and rear CRT glasses. Research has shown that lead is leached in higher concentrations from smaller fractions of rear CRT glasses, while lead was not leached from crushed front CRT glasses. Only two fractions of rear CRT glasses were classified as a hazardous waste.

Jezero Blidinje se nalazi na jugozapadnom dijelu Dugoga polja i predstavlja fokalnu točku Parka prirode „Blidinje“ (PPB). Ovaj Park prirode obuhvaća planine Vran zapadniji i Čvrsnicu - istočniji dio PPB, koje spadaju među najviše planine Dinarskog sustava. Područje PPB odlikuje se prostranim visoravnima, visokim oštrim planinskim grebenima i vrhovima, brojnim spiljama, prekrasnim krajolicima, vrijednim endemskim biljkama i glečerskim jezerima. Kanjoni rijeka: Doljanke, Dive Grabovice, Drežanke i Neretve mogu se izdvojiti kao posebno impresivni i zanimljivi prostori, što je samo dio prirodnih ljepota ovoga Parka prirode. Zato PPB ima veliko ekološko, turističko-rekreacijsko i edukacijsko značenje za pučanstvo u Bosni i Hercegovini, Republici Hrvatskoj i brojnim posjetiteljima koji uživaju u sportovima na sijegu te drugim turistima koji posjećuju ovaj Park tijekom svojih posjeta poznatom marijanskom svetištu u Međugorju i turističkim odredištima na Jadranskom moru. Javno poduzeće PPB osnovano je radi nužne zaštite i čuvanja vrijednih krajolika, vidikovaca, prirodnih odlika tla, vode, zraka, flore i faune respektirajući ekološku stabilnost u zakonski omeđenom i rijetko očuvanom prirodnom prostoru National Environmental Action Plan (NEAP) (2003). Ravnateljstvo PPB uspješno obavlja svoju zadanu ulogu uključujući i kontrolu gradnje kuća za odmor, čiji se broj neprekidno povećava pa je nužna njihova opskrba vodom i zbrinjavanje tamo nastalog krutog otpada te otpadnih voda. Poboljšanje gospodarenja vodama tj. opskrba vodom, prikupljanje i zbrinjavanje krutog otpada te korištenih voda (odvodnja) u PPB, glavna je tema ovog rada.

The paper presents the development of the conceptual, mathematical and system dynamics model for the food industry wastewater purification system which removes organic matter. The food industry often located in places where is difficult to install large systems for water purification while small sophisticated systems are expensive. Wastewater food industry is contaminated with organic matter, phosphorus and nitrogen compounds. This paper presents a model of the small, cheap and effective cleaner water. The goal of the scientific investigation is developing such a model for purification wastewater and methodology design suitable to significant behavior patterns of contamination matter. Developed conceptual model is a computer variables model uses randomly chosen values from the theoretical probability distribution of the variable applied. For the validation of the model, considering that the distributions are asymmetrical non-Gaussian distributions, a non-parametric test was applied. Methodology proposed in the paper is mostly based on the simulation modeling.

U radu je prikazan razvoj modela složenih, inženjerskih sustava u zaštiti okoliša, na način da su izgrađeni modeli dva stvarna, složena, inženjerska sustava za pročišćavanje vode (otpadne vode Grada Čakovca te površinske vode rijeke Drave u Gradu Belišću). Pomoću ova dva modela razvijen je adaptivni model sustava pročišćavanja vode koja po kvaliteti odgovara otpadnoj komunalnoj vodi, a pročišćuje se u vodu koja po kvaliteti odgovara vodi za ljudsku potrošnju. Predviđena su mjesta potpunog zastoja sustava koji može izazvati materijalne štete, štete u okolišu te utjecati na zdravlje ljudi.

U radu je prikazan izgradnja modela sustava za pročišćavanje vode. Rad započinje prikazom načina prikupljanja i obrade podataka. Budući da podaci koji nedostaju, nedostaju nasumce (slučajno) (engl. missing at random (MAR)), kod obrade podataka koristila se metoda brisanja (engl. Listwise deletion). Da bi sustav radio u optimalnim uvjetima, potrebno je, temeljem prikupljenih podataka oblikovati konceptualni model rada pročistača te modelirati kretanje onečišćenja svake promatrane onečišćujuće tvari, što je prezentirano njihovim matematičkim modelima (koristeći se sustavima diferencijalno-diferencijskih jednadžbi za pročistače i jednadžbama funkcija za svaku tvar). Provjerom dobrote ovih modela, provjereno je, je li simulacijski model adekvatno predstavlja stvarni sustav, uspoređujući stvarne izlazne vrijednosti koncentracija amonijaka i organske tvari s izlaznim rezultatima eksperimenata. Nakon što je oblikovan matematički modeli funkcija rada pročistača, oblikovan je model sustavske dinamike. Pri tome su matematičke funkcije nezavisne varijable sustava, a kvaliteta vode zavisna varijabla koju isporučuju sustavi za pročišćavanje vode. Istraživanja koja su provedena za potrebe ovog rada ogledaju se u interdisciplinarnom području koje obuhvaća informatiku i ekologiju te zaštitu okoliša (eko-informatiku) što omogućava sustavno izučavanje i predlaganje ekoloških mjera za zaštitu okoliša, na način da se ispitivanja iz okoliša prenose na simulacijski model u različitim uvjetima rada, uz mogućnost vizualizacije i oblikovanjem temeljnim čimbenicima rada sustava za pročišćavanje vode koji je adaptivan na promjene i krizne situacije nastale zbog onečišćenja vode. Vrijedan je također i doprinos istraživanja koji se odnosi na upravljanje prikupljenim podacima i uvažavanje njihovih specifičnosti i načine prezentiranja te njihovo višestruko korištenje ; kao i korištenje modernih alata i tehnika modeliranja, s posebnim naglaskom na simulacijsko modeliranje koje se uspješno nosi s varijabilitetom koncentracija onečišćujućih tvari i bioraznolikošću okoliša.

Petrol-koks je gorivo koje se dobiva kao sporedni proizvod u rafinerijama nafte. Onaj lošije kvalitete se upotrebljava kao gorivo u nekim termoelektranama te u industriji cementa, vapna i opeka. Onaj petrol-koks koji je bolje kvalitete se zbog niskog sadržaja sumpora i teških metala koristi za izradu elektrolizerskih elektroda, posebno anoda u proizvodnji aluminija te u industriji čelika. S obzirom da se petrol-koks dobiva kao nus- proizvod kod rafiniranja nafte, ima ga u velikim količinama na tržištu pa je jeftin u usporedbi s ugljenom. Kriza koja je osobito pogodila graditeljstvo i industriju građevinskih materijala uvelike je utjecala i na pokušaje iznalaženja jeftinijih energenata, koji će moći tu industriju što je dulje moguće održavati na životu, a pritom uporabom jeftinijih energenata što je moguće manje utjecati na okoliš. Mnoge industrije građevinskih materijala zbog toga u posljednje vrijeme sve češće pribjegavaju uštedi kombinirajući plin i petrol-koks. O tome se, međutim, mišljenja razilaze, javno se raspravlja, a vrlo su glasne i pojednine ekološke udruge. Sve te pojedinačne akcije i reakcije i nepotpune informacije zbunjuju javnost te je svako stručno mišljenje posebno zanimljivo. Stoga je svrha ovog rada bila demistificirati upotrebu petrol-koksa kao legalnog energenta te na jednom primjeru pokušaja implementacije petrol-koksa kao goriva ukazati na važnost i potrebitost kvalitetne komunikacije između svih zainteresiranih strana kako se ne bi zaustavljali i kočili razvojni projekti, gasila radna mjesta te ugrožavao održivi razvitak.

25. RECIKLIRANJE I OPORABA GIPS-KARTON PLOĈA

GraĊevinski otpad ĉini 30 % ĉvrstog otpada. Iako zbrinjavanje i recikliranje graĊevinskog otpada nije u središtu pozornosti, ono volumno zauzima puno prostora na postojećim odlagalištima, a njegovo zbrinjavanje je skupo i teško. U ovom ĉlanku daje se prikaz najprikladnijih alternativa tradicionalnom zbrinjavanju graĊevinskog otpada - odlaganju. Ĉlanak se fokusira na jedan dio graĊevinskog otpada, na gips-kartonske ploĉe. Uobiĉajeno odlaganje ili spaljivanje gips- kartonskih ploĉa, osim što je ekonomski neisplativo i opasno je za okoliš. Odlaganjem gips-kartonskih ploĉa na neadekvatne odlagališta gdje prevladavaju anaerobni uvjeti, bakterije razlaţu gips na otrovan sumporovodik, ugljikov (IV) oksid i vodu. Spaljivanjem sulfati prisutni u gipsu pretvaraju se u plinoviti sumporov (IV) oksid koji u atmosferi oksidira do oksidacijskog stanja (+6), a uz dušikov (IV) oksid (kao katalizator), nastaje sumporna kiselina (H2SO4) , odnosno kisele kiše. Alternativa ovim klasiĉnim naĉinima je oporaba i recikliranje gips-kartonskih ploĉa te njihova upotreba u poljoprivredi, ratarstvu, hortikulturi, voćarstvu, stoĉarstvu, peradarstvu, gljivarstvu, vinogradarstvu, ribogojstvu te za proĉišćavanje voda, na sportskim terenima, kao i kod ekoloških nesreća kao apsorber.

U radu su prikazane osnove Metode najmanjih kvadrata, počevši od regresijske analize. Metodu najmanjih kvadrata postavio je 1795. g. Carl Friedrich Gauss. U praktičnom dijelu izvršena su mjerenja promjene dužine opruge u zavisnosti od opterećenja. Oprugu, kao i zakon elastičnosti postavio je Robert Hooke, pa se i zakon zove po njemu – Hookove zakon. Dobivene vrijednosti ucrtane su u graf, koji predstavlja početak dijagrama naprezanja. Linearna funkcija koja najbolje odgovara dobivenim točkama izračunata je ručno Metodom najmanjih kvadrata. Dobiveni koeficijenti pravca provjereni su korištenjem aplikacije Statistica. The paper presents the basics of the Method of Least Squares, starting with regression analysis. The method of least squares was established in 1795 by Mr. Carl Friedrich Gauss. In the practical part, measurements were made of the change in spring length depending on the load. The spring, as well as the law of elasticity, was established by Robert Hooke, so the law is named after him - Hooke's law. The obtained values are plotted in a graph, which represents the beginning of the stress diagram. The linear function that best fits the obtained points was calculated manually by the Method of Least Squares. The obtained direction coefficients were checked using the Statistica application.

U ovom radu opisan je proces nastanka kiselih kiša i njihov utjecaj, te proces mjerenja kojim se utvrđivala pH vrijednost oborina na području Malog Bukovca. Kisele kiše su oborine čije su pH vrijednosti niže od pH vrijednosti “čistih” oborina. Prosječna vrijednost kiselosti čistih oborina iznosi 5,6 ili više, dok je kiselost zakiseljenih oborina manja ili jednaka vrijednosti 5,5 na pH skali. Eksperimentalni dio rada proveden je na način da se u razdoblju od početka travnja do kraja kolovoza sakupljala kišnica, kojoj se kasnije uz pomoć papirnatih indikatora kiselosti određivala pH vrijednost. Nakon statističke obrade podataka, utvrđena je prosječna pH vrijednost padalina za navedeno razdoblje u naselju Mali Bukovec.

Proces kompostiranja podrazumijeva biološku razgradnju organskog materijala i najstariji je način recikliranja. Kompostiranjem se uspostavlja prirodni kružni tok tvari. Kompost poboljšava strukturu tla, omogućava bolje zadržavanje vode u tlu te povećava broj nutritivnih spojeva koji su potrebni biljkama za rast i razvoj. Kućno kompostiranje je također jedan od ekološki najprihvatljivijih načina smanjivanja količine otpada. Čitav proces odvija se na jednom mjestu. U ovom diplomskom radu provodi se proces kućnog kompostiranja. Eksperimentalni dio rada sadrži sve bitne korake koje je potrebno slijediti kako bi se dobio što bolji konačni produkt. Također su navedeni svi materijali i instrumenti korišteni tijekom procesa te metode prema kojima je sam proces kompostiranja napredovao. Za kućno kompostiranje izrađen je komposter od drvenih transportnih paleta u koji se po slojevima složio organski otpad iz kuhinje i vrta. Komposter je smješten u polusjenovitom dijelu vrta i do njega je omogućen nesmetan pristup. Također se u blizini nalazi izvor vode jer je kompost prepušten vremenskim uvjetima pa ga je ponekad potrebno zalijevati. S druge strane, prozračivanje kompostne mase također je bitan korak koji se mora zadovoljiti kako bi razgradnja organskog otpada bila učinkovita i odvijala se u aerobnim uvjetima. U radu su navedeni i opisani svi fizički razlagači koji su zamijećeni tijekom procesa kompostiranja. Rezultati mjerenja temperature, vlage i pH vrijednosti tijekom procesa izneseni su u rezultatima rada te su analizirani. Na samom kraju rada nalazi se prikaz dobivenog konačnog proizvoda, tj. produkta kućnog kompostiranja. Dobiveni rezultati slažu se s podacima literaturnih referenci korištenih u radu.

Prilikom pisanja diplomskog rada korišteno je znanje stečeno prilikom radnog vijeka i studiranja, te je sve zajedno primijenjeno na sadržaj rada. U radu se govori o tehnološkom procesu proizvodnje prirodne mineralne vode i njezinom sastavu. Uvodni dio objašnjava važnost vode i važnost kvalitete vode za ljudsku potrošnju, te što utječe na njenu kvalitetu. U drugom dijelu opisan je proces proizvodnje mineralne vode te PET i staklenih boca za mineralnu vodu. Treće poglavlje posvećeno je kontroli mineralne vode u kemijskom, mikrobiološkom i pogonskom ili kontrolnom laboratoriju, a slijedi ga poglavlje o dezinfekciji vode za piće. Nakon teorijskog dijela, slijedi praktični dio, kao poglavlje 5. u kojem su prikazani rezultati praćenja kvalitete prirodne mineralne vode u razdoblju od 1.03.-10.05.2022. godine. Diplomski rad završava zaključkom.

30. Emissions of air pollutants in the aluminum plasticization plant

U ovom radu istražene su emisije štetnih tvari u zrak (aeropolutanata) u pogonu plastifikacije metala (aluminija). Opisan je tehnološki proces nanošenja bojila u prahu na površinu metalnog obratka elektrostatskim postupkom, te su provjerene emisije dušikovih oksida iz ispusta peći za polimerizaciju. Također, provjereni su iznosi dimnih brojeva te emisija ugljikovog monoksida i dušikovih oksida na ispustu toplozračnog termogena peći za sušenje s tlačnim gorionikom, toplovodnog kotla s tlačnim plinskim gorionikom te na ispustu toplozračnog plinskog termogena peći za polimerizaciju. Dobivene vrijednosti su uspoređene s propisanim vrijednostima u Uredbi o graničnim vrijednostima emisija onečišćujućih tvari u zrak iz nepokretnih izvora. In this study emissions of air pollutants in metal (aluminium) plastification industry were investigated. The technological process of metal workpiece powder coating by electrostatic process was described, and the emissions of nitrogen oxides from the outlet of the polymerization furnace were checked. Also, the amounts of smoke numbers and emissions of carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides at the outlet of the hot air thermogene drying kiln with pressure burner, hot water boiler with pressure gas burner and at the outlet of hot air gas thermogene kiln for polymerization were researched. The obtained values were compared with the prescribed values in the Regulation on limit values for emissions of pollutants into the air from stationary sources.

31. Mjerenja emisija krutih čestica iz nepokretnih izvora

S obzirom na nepovoljan učinak na zdravlje ljudi i na kvalitetu zraka koji udišemo, ispuštanje krutih čestica iz nepokretnih izvora strogo je regulirano zakonskim aktima i podaktima iz područja zaštite okoliša. Radi utvrđivanja ispuštene koncentracije krutih čestica potrebno je provoditi mjerenja emisija krutih čestica na spomenutim nepokretnim izvorima. U ovom diplomskom radu razmatra se upravo tematika mjerenja emisija krutih čestica u zrak iz nepokretnih (stacionarnih) izvora. Tema ovo diplomskog rada isključivo se odnosi na povremena mjerenja koja se bitno razlikuju od kontinuiranih, te ista predstavljaju referentne metode mjerenja čestica. U ovom radu spomenuta su i kontinuiranih mjerenja te je navedeno zašto, kako i gdje se takva mjerenja provode i koja je razlika između kontinuiranih i povremenih mjerenja. Opisane su metode mjerenja, potrebna oprema, osiguranje kvalitete mjerenja, način iskazivanja rezultata mjerenja, način vaganja i određivanja mase krutih čestica, svođenje na standardne uvjete i svođenje na zadani volumni udio kisika koji je propisan za određenu vrstu procesa. Smanjivanje emisija krutih čestica bitan je aspekt očuvanja kvalitete zraka, te su u radu navedene tehnike smanjivanja emisija krutih čestica iz nepokretnih izvora. U eksperimentalnom dijelu rada prikazani su rezultati mjerenja emisija krutih čestica u realnim uvjetima, na jednom energetskom ispustu na području Republike Hrvatske. Mjerenja su provedena na kotlu maksimalnog toplinskog učinka 21 MW i to prilikom maksimalnog opterećenja. Svakako je bitno napomenuti da je na ispustu instaliran uređaj za smanjivanje emisija krutih čestica – elektrostatski filtar. Napravljena je usporedba rezultata mjerenja s uključenim elektrostatskim filterom i bez uključenog elektrostatskog filtera.

Plastične mase nastaju od sirovine nafte koja je neobnovljiv izvor energije, te imaju široku upotrebu u vidu ambalaţnih i drugih proizvoda. Osim što se troši ograničen resurs te se samim time ugroţavaju potrebe budućih generacija, konačni plastični proizvodi štete okolišu ukoliko se adekvatno ne postupa s njima. Upravo plastični ambalaţni otpad bude odbačen od strane nesavjesnih graĎana te kvari sliku okoliša. Vodeći se idejom odrţivog razvoja na više načina odabiremo kako plastične mase uspješno iskoristiti. Promjenom dizajna za višestruku uporabu te sakupljanjem,recikliranjem ili prenamjenom takvog otpada moţemo smanjiti potrebu za crpljenjem nafte te značajno uštediti na potrebnoj energiji unutar tehnološkog postupka proizvodnje ambalaţnih proizvoda. Konkretno, recikliranje plastičnih PET boca ima mogućnost prenamjenu u recikliranu odjeću. Ona se moţe uvesti u školski sustav te osim što je takva ideja odrţiva, potiče i socijalnu ravnopravnost djece te ih ne dijeli po obiteljskom statusu.

Prolivena nafta u morskom okolišu značajno promjenjuje uvjete morske biokemije i predstavlja veliku prijetnju morskom ekosustavu i zdravlju ljudi te je posljednjih godina postala ključno pitanje morske kemije i bioloških istraživanja. Zbog kemijskih svojstva nafte i njezine štetnosti na okoliš potrebno je odmah reagirati i spriječiti širenje nafte na vodenoj površini kada dođe do izlijevanja. Kroz ovaj rad prikazane su obje teorije postanka nafte, odnosno znanstveni razlozi zašto je naftna nastala organskim putem, tj. anorganskim. Sirova nafta klasificira se na temelju fizičkih karakteristika i kemijskog sastava, a varira u cijeni, korisnosti i utjecaju na okoliš. Zagađenje mora naftom odnosi se na naftu i njezine rafinirane proizvode koji ulaze u morski okoliš u procesu eksploatacije, rafiniranja, skladištenja, transporta i uporabe. Širenje naftne mrlje na vodenoj površini složen je proces koji sustavno opisuje Ishikawa dijagram. Naftna mrlja kreće se površinom pod utjecajem sila koje djeluju na sve čestice u moru. Razvoj Ishikawa dijagrama opisuje uzroke, poduzroke i poduzroke poduzroka do 5. nivoa uzroka. Posljedica, tj. problem Ishikawa dijagrama u ovom slučaju je širenje naftne mrlje na vodenoj površini. The spread of an oil slick over the water surface is a complex process that is systematically described by the Ishikawa diagram. An oil slick moves across the surface under the influence of forces acting on every particle in the sea. The development of the Ishikawa diagram describes the causes, sub-causes, sub-sub-causes... to level 5th causes. Consequence, i.e. the problem in this case, in Ishikawa diagram is spreading oil slicks in the sea. Theoretical framework for development of the Ishikawa diagram defined through mathematical equations shows that the spreading of oil slicks in the sea depends on sea pressure, friction force, Coriolis force, buoyancy force, equation of state, tangential stresses due to wind action (wind currents), tidal forces, tension force and diffusion.

Iz godine u godinu sve su izraženije klimatske promjene, a presudnu ulogu u smanjenju klimatskih promjena mogu imati šume. Šume smanjuju efekt staklenika tako da upijaju ugljikov dioksid i djeluje kao „pluća“ svijeta. Današnji problemi s okolišem nastali su poslije industrijske revolucije. U navedenom razdoblju je došlo do nagle eksplozije broja i rasta tvornice i gradova. Zauzeli su veliki dio površine zemlje pri čemu su velike količine šuma posječene. Na kraju je to sve dovelo do onečišćenja zraka i vode, nastanka otpada i okoliš se okrenuo protiv nas. Sadnja drveća i pošumljavanje bi trebalo ublažiti učinak klimatskih promjena. Na vlastitoj parceli posađeno je 250 mladica bagrema. Bagrem je posađen 2019. godine kako bi se osiguralo pošumljenost jedne lokacije radi zaštite okoliša i staništa za divlje životinje i za ogrjev. U šumi gdje je obavljena sadnja bagrema, prisutne su druge vrste drveća kao što je topola, jasen, vrba, te starija generacija bagrema koja je posađena prije 5 godina. Projekt pošumljivanja bagremom je bio uspješan, te se planira pošumljivanje na drugoj lokaciji šume drugim vrstama, kao što su hrast i orah. Jako je važno šumu održavati kako bi se osiguralo neometan razvitak posađenih mladica i kako ne bi došlo do nekontroliranog širenja ili gubitka zbog vanjskih elemenata koji će biti opisani u diplomskom radu. U diplomskom radu će biti opisana tri konceptualna modela, kako bismo dobili predodžbu što utječe na rast i razvoj bagrema. Modeli koji će se opisivati su dijagram ciklusa aktivnosti, dijagram uzrok – posljedica i dijagram uzročnih petlji. Diplomski rad obuhvaća akciju sadnje drveća s pripadajućim slikama na lokaciji Drnje. Rezultati istraživanja obuhvaćaju fotografije posađenog bagrema nakon 1, 2 i 5 godine poslije sadnje i diplomski rad zadržava tri modela rasta i razvoja bagrema. U ovom radu obuhvaćeni su konceptualni i računalni modeli. Konceptualni modeli se odnose na šumu bagrem, a računalni modeli obuhvaćaju podatke za bukvu, smreku i sekvoju. Rezultati rada obuhvaćaju modele rasta stabla, model raspoloživosti energije i toleranciju na sjenu, model vjerojatnosti pojave požara. Navedeni modeli su modelirani u programu Stella Architect i prikazani su u obliku grafova.

Film, kao medij, može prenijeti poruku posredovanjem slike i zvuka. Budući da se film sastoji od niza slika, on je vizualan te je nužno povezan s osjetilom vida, odnosno vizualno je percipiran. Filmometrija, kao način statističke analize kvantitativnih podataka, opisuje strukturu i sadržaj filmova te se traži ponavljajući uzorak (autora, perioda i sl.) koji daje aspekt stila. Parametrizacijom i vizualizacijom filmskih podataka određuju se karakteristike filmova, poput uređivačke strukture, boje, govora ili pokreta, obrađuju se, analiziraju i transformiraju u grafičke prikaze. U ovom radu parametrizacijom dužine kadrova i RGB boja u kratkometražnom filmu „Let's Recycle“ određene su točke tranzicije.

Na početku rada stavljen je osvrt na zagađenje okoliša otpadom, vrstama otpada, načinima obrade te načinima zbrinjavanja istog. Naglasak je stavljen na mehaničku obradu otpada jer se ona kao metoda i koristi u sortirnici otpada koja je detaljno obrađena u eksperomentalnom dijelu. Svrha istraživanja je bila projektiranje i dokazivanje isplativosti sortirnice otpada za rad GKP PRE-KOM d.o.o. U svrhu projektiranja osmišljena je linija (navedeni i pobrojeni strojevi od kojih bi se linija za sortiranje otpada sastojala s njihovim karakteristikama), te je izračunata njena isplativost prema karakteristikama i količini otpada za GKP PRE-KOM d.o.o. Rezultat istraživanja je projekt linije sortirnice s rokom isplativosti od 17,5 godina. My master thesis begins with a review of environmental pollution by waste, types of waste, methods of its treatment as well as methods of its disposal. Special importance is given on the mechanical treatment of waste, because it is used as a method in waste sorting, which will be treated in detail in the experimental part. The purpose of the research was to design and prove the profitability of the waste sorting plant for the work of GKP PRE-KOM d.o.o. For design purposes a line was invented (listed and enumerated machines of which the waste sorting line would consist with their characteristics), and its cost-effectiveness was calculated according to the characteristics and amount of waste for GKP PRE-KOM d.o.o. The result of the research is a sorting line project with a payback period of 17,5 years.

U svijetu danas, buka je postala jedan od najraznolikijih oblika onečišćenja okoliša. Buka je posvuda. To utječe na naše živote kod kuće, na poslu i u igri. Gdje god žive ljudi postoji buka. Buka, po definiciji, je bilo koji neželjeni ili prekomjeran zvuk. To može biti neugodnost, ometajući spavanje, rad ili rekreaciju. Postoji jedna vrsta buke koja se može učinkovito liječiti na svom izvoru: cestovna buka. Usavršavajući ceste i autoceste s asfaltom, buka koju smo iskusili u zatvorenom i na otvorenom, u kući i na poslu može se značajno smanjiti. Istraživanja u SADu i Europi nam pokazuju da asfaltni kolnik s mješavinom kamenog matričnog asfalta (SMA) ili asfalt s otvorenim stupnjem trenja (OGFC) smanjuju buku autoceste za 3 do 5 dB ili više. Prosječnoj osobi ta redukcija je jednaka udvostručavanju udaljenosti između izvora buke i njihove lokacije. Prilikom uspoređivanja smanjenja šuma odabirom asfaltnog kolnika vidimo koliko je praktičniji odabir kolničkih površina važniji od konstrukcije zidova barijere. U radu se detaljno obrađuje tema tihog asfalta koji uvelike utječe na smanjenje buke. Postavljanjem ovakve vrste asfalta utječe se na cjelokupnu kvalitetu življenja svakog čovjeka. In the world today, noise has become one of the most resilient forms of environmental pollution. Noise is everywhere. It affects our lives at home, at work, and at play. Wherever people live, there is a noise. Noise, by definition, is any unwanted or excessive sound. It may be discomfort, disturbing sleep, work or recreation. There is one kind of noise that can be effectively treated at its source: road noise. By perfecting the roads and the highway with the asphalt, the noise that we has experienced indoor and outdoor homes and work can be significantly reduced. Studies in the US and Europe show that the crude road with a mixture of stone matrix asphalt (SMA) or OGFC (OGFC) will reduce the noise of the highway by 3 to 5 dB or more. For an average person, this reduction is equal to doubling the distance between the noise source and their location. When comparing the noise reduction possible by selecting the asphalt pavement, we see how much more convenient the choice of cargo surfaces is more inportant than the structure of the barrier walls. The paper deals with the topic of a quiet asphalt that greatly affects noise reduction. By placing this kind of asphalt affects the overall quality of life of every man.

U Završnom radu se prikazuje i objašnjava kronološki tijek i svrha zahvata na restauraciji i sanaciji zaštićenog spomenika kulture župnog dvora Uznesenja Blažene Djevice Marije na adresi Trg Svete Marije 30 u Bednji. Prikazuju se vrste radova na zaštićenom spomeniku kulture, koje su potrebne radi zaštite građevine. Detaljno su opisani svi postupci obnove objekta od pripremnih građevinskih radova, demontaže i rušenja, zidarskih radova, ličilačko-fasaderskih radova, konzervatorsko-restauratorskih radova, kamenarskih radova na kulturno-povijesnom objektu kao sastavnici okoliša. Razlog za sanacijom zaštićenog spomenika kulture župnog dvora Uznesenja Blažene Djevice Marije u Bednji bio je da se restaurira, sačuva i zaštiti izvorni izgled objekta s elementima gradnje (kameni doprozornici, dovratnici) za buduće naraštaje. The Final Paper presents and explains the chronological course and purpose of the intervention on the restoration and recovery of the protected monument of parish culture of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at St. Mary's Square 30 in Bednja. Presented are the types of works on the protected cultural monument that are needed to protect and extend the life of the building. All procedures are described in detail from preparatory construction works, dismantling and demolition, masonry, facade and facade works, conservation and restoration works, and masonry works are described in detail. The reason for the restoration of the protected monument of the parish culture of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Bednja was to restore, preserve and protect the original appearance of the building with building elements (stone windows, door jambs) for future generations.

Urbani ekosustavi su naseljena mjesta, a prije svega to su gradovi. Čine ih svi živi organizmi i nežive tvari. Negativnim utjecajima, čiji uzrok je čovjekovo djelovanje, narušava se kvaliteta života u urbanim ekosustavima. Ti negativni utjecaji utječu i na klimatske promjene. Klimatske promjene predstavljaju promjenu klime svjetskih razmjera. Povećanjem stakleničkih plinova u atmosferi povećava se temperatura zraka na Zemlji. Najjednostavniji način smanjenja klimatskih promjena u urbanim ekosustavima je sadnja zelenila. Urbane šume, parkovi, vrtovi, zeleni krovovi i zidovi predstavljaju potencijal za smanjenje negativnih djelovanja čovjeka čime bi se doprinijelo povećanju kvalitete života u urbanim ekosustavima. Urban ecosystems are populated places, above all, these are cities. They are made up of all living organisms and inanimate substances. Negative impacts, caused by human action, impair the quality of life in urban ecosystems. These negative impacts also affect climate change. Climate change represents a global change in climate. By increasing greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere, the air temperature on Earth increases. Planting greenery is the easiest way to reduce climate change in urban ecosystems. Urban forests, parks, gardens, green roofs and walls represent the potential to reduce human negative actions to contribute to increasing the quality of life in urban ecosystems.

Suvremeni tempo života pred današnju populaciju postavlja niz novih zahtjeva koji su neophodni za normalno odvijanje života i svih onih aktivnosti koje su sastavni dio današnjice. Naime, u doba globalizacije sve je prisutniji trend u kojemu se veliki naglasak postavlja na kretanje stanovništva. Upravo iz tog razloga veliku pozornost treba posvetiti organizaciji prometa, naročito u napučenim gradovima. Jedan od načina organizacije je i cestovni prijevoz putnika koji ima sve veći značaj. Idejno rješenje izradila je projektna tvrtka Cestaprojekt d.o.o. iz Varaždina u svibnju 2003. god., za investitora Hrvatske ceste d.o.o. iz Zagreba, a predmet idejnog rješenja je cestovni spoj od grada Zadra na državnoj cesti D-8 do autoceste Zagreb - Split (čvor Zadar 2). Predmetna brza cesta je nova trasa u cijeloj svojoj dužini potpuno odvojena od postojeće državne ceste D-502. Zbog veličine zahvata moguća je i etapna izgradnja. Režim prometa na postojećoj državnoj cesti D-502 izgradnjom brze ceste ne bi se mijenjao, tj. ona bi prema vrsti prometa kojemu je namijenjena predstavljala cestu za mješoviti promet. Contemporary life time before today's population sets a series of new requirements that are essential for normal life and all those activities that are part of today's. Namely, in the age of globalization there is an increasingly present trend in which the great emphasis is placed on the movement of the population. For this very reason, great attention should be paid to the organization of traffic, especially in the crowded cities. One way of organizing is the road transport of passengers, which has an increasing importance. The design solution was developed by the project company Cestaprojekt d.o.o. from Varaždin in May 2003, for investor Hrvatske ceste d.o.o. from Zagreb, and the subject of the concept solution is the road connection from the city of Zadar to the state road D-8 to the Zagreb-Split motorway (Zadar node 2). The subject of the fast road is a new route in its entire length completely separated from the existing state road D-502. Due to the size of the project, it is possible to build a floor. The traffic regime on the existing state road D-502 by building a fast road would not change, ie it would be according to the type of traffic it was meant to represent the road to mixed traffic.

Koristimo AHP metodu za odabir najpovoljnijeg materijala gornjeg ustroja ceste. Odabrani kriteriji koje uzimamo u obzir su ekološki, ekonomski, sociološki i organizacijski kriterij. Asfalt, beton, kamen i reciklirani materijal odabrane su alternative. Opisujemo AHP metodu, kriterije i altenative. Provodimo analizu sa danim kriterijima i alternativama koristeći se Saaty-evom skalom relativne važnosti. Uspoređivanjem rezultata dolazimo do zaključka da je reciklirani materijal najpovoljniji materijal za gornji ustroj ceste. We use the AHP method to select the best material of the upper road structure. Selected criteria that we take into account are the ecological, economic, sociological and organizational criteria. Asphalt, concrete, stone and recycled materials have chosen alternatives. We describe the AHP method, criteria and altenatives. We conduct an analysis with given criteria and alternatives using Saaty's scale of relative importance. By comparing the results we come to the conclusion that recycled material is the most advantageous material for the upper structure of the road.

HŽ Infrastruktura d.o.o. ulaže velika sredstva u sigurnost željezničkog prometa. Zbog pomanjkanja sredstava za investicije i redovito održavanje kolosijeka i kolosiječnih postrojenja izostaje pravovremeno održavanje pružnih dionica. Uobičajeni ciklus remonta pruga od 20 do 25 godina s premještanjem zadovoljavajućeg rabljenog gradiva s pruga većeg ranga na pruge manjeg ranga skoro da ne postoji. Nepravovremenim remontom pruga rabljeno gradivo prelazi granicu uporabljivosti te ga je potrebno zbrinuti kao otpad. HŽ Infrastruktura d.o.o. gospodari otpadom i ulaže velika sredstva u očuvanje okoliša u skladu s propisima o postupanju s tračnicama, betonskim, čeličnim i drvenim pragovima III kategorije i rabljenim kamenim agregatima dobivenim nakon radova na remontu pruga. HŽ Infrastruktura d.o.o. invests a great deal of money in the safety of rail traffic. Due to the lack of funds for investments and regular track and track facilities maintenance, there is no timely maintenance of railway lines. The usual cycle of railway line overhaul from 20 to 25 years with the transfer of a satisfactory used material from higher to lower railway level almost no longer exists. Because of late railway line overhaul, used material exceeds the usability limit and needs to be disposed of as waste. HŽ Infrastruktura d.o.o. manages waste and invests large amounts of money in environment protection in accordance with the regulations of handling railway tracks, grade III concrete, iron and timber and used stone aggregates obtained after railway track overhaul.

Rad se odnosi na određivanje regresijskog modela odnosa ekonomskih i ekoloških karakteristika materijala kod odabira u graditeljstvu. Kako bi se do toga uopće došlo, prethode neka od teorija, razjašnjenja. Rad je podijeljen u više dijelova. U prvom dijelu biti će riječi o statistici, točnije njezinom dijelu – korelaciji i regresiji. Njezino značenje, upotreba, odnosi, rješenja i analize. U današnjici, mnogo se pažnje posvećuje pretpostavkama, nagađanjima stoga su spomenute analize od velike koristi u današnjem društvu te poslovanju. Kako bismo započeli teoriju te sam konačni dolazak do modela regresije, potrebno je informirati se o čemu će biti riječi. U ovom radu to su građevinski materijali. Stoga je drugi dio posvećen teoriji građevnog materijala. Odrađeni su neki od osnovnih materijala – drvo, metali, polimerni materijali, beton. Naglasak je na osnovnim sirovinama svakog od materijala, tehnološkom procesu proizvodnje, fizikalno-mehaničkim svojstvima, vrstama materijala te na njihovoj upotrebi. Neke od vrijednosti su prikazane tablično radi lakše usporedbe. Nakon razrade svakog od materijala, navedene su ekološke prednosti materijala i njihov utjecaj na okoliš. Razradivši dio teorije, u tablici su prikazani konačni materijali i njihove cijene te korištenje. Korištenjem koeficijenta korelacije određena je mjera povezanosti ovih varijabli. Nakon određivanja jačine korelacije razvijen je regresijski model. This paper refesrs to determination of the regression model of relationship between economic and ecological characteristics of building materials. To achieve this precede theories and research. The work is divided into several parts. In the first part there will be words about statistics, more precisely the part – correlation and regression. It implies meaning, usage, relationships, solutions and analysis. Today, a lot of attention is paid to the assumptions and speculations, so these analyses are great benefit in today's society and business. In order to begin the theory and final arrival till regression modul it's necessary to inform what the word will be. In this case they are building materials. So the second part is devoted to the theory of building materials. Some of the basic materials – wood, metals, polymer materials, concrete – have been processed. The emphasis is on the basic raw materials of each material, the technological process od production, the physical-mechanical properties, the types of materials and their use. Some of the values are shown in a table for easier comparison. After the elaboration of each material, the environmental benefits of the material and their environmental impact are listed. By elaborating part of the theory, the table shows the final materials and their prices and use. Using the coefficient of correlation, the correlation measure of these variables has determined. After determining correlation strenght, a regression model was developed.

Otpad predstavlja sve veći problem u današnjem potrošačkom društvu. Bilo da se on gomila, razlaže u podzemnim vodama ili spaljivanjem širi atmosferom, otpad ozbiljno ugrožava okoliš i zdravlje ljudi. Stoga je u svim dijelovima svijeta krenula utrka za stvaranjem čišćeg okoliša pri čemu se otpad smatra resursom, a njegova obrada spada u najnaprednije tehnologije. U ovom radu prikazane su vrste otpada te problemi oko zbrinjavanja otpada s naglaskom na biootpad koji u mješovitom komunalnom otpadu predstavlja najveći problem jer je on najveći izvor odlagališnih plinova i organske tvari u procjednim vodama odlagališta. Gotovo ¼ mješanog komunalnog otpada iz kućanstva čini biootpad. Zbog toga se R Hrvatska u pretpristupnim pregovorima s EU obvezala na rješavanje problema u gospodarenju otpadom. Jedan od stavki je i smanjenje odloženog biootpada na odlagališta. Danas se na odlagališta odlaže oko 800 000 t/g. biootpada, dok se do 31.12.2020. ta količina planira smanjiti na oko 250 000 t/g. Jedan od prihvatljivih načina zbrinjavanja biootpada je kompostiranje. U radu je proveden eksperiment slijeganja biootpada u kompostani, te su mjerenja slijeganja mjerena 8 tjedana. Nakon mjerenja, pomoću generator slučajnih brojeva “izbačeno” je 5%, odnosno 25% vrijednosti te su za nedostajuće podatke primjenjene metode imputacije i metoda brisanja redaka (Listwise deletion). Korištenjem opisne statistike prikazane su dobrote slaganja sa stvarnim podacima. Waste is a growing problem in today's consumer society. Whether it piles, breaks down in underground waters or spreads into atmosphere by incineration, waste seriously endangers the environment and human health. Therefore, in all parts of the world, a race is started to create a cleaner environment, where waste is considered a resource, and its processing is one of the most advanced technologies. This paper presents the types of waste and the waste management problems with a focus on bio-waste that is the most problematic in mixed municipal waste, since it is the largest source of landfill gas and organic matter in the seepage waters of landfills. Nearly ¼ of mixed municipal waste from the households is a bio-waste. For this reason, Croatia in preaccession negotiations with the EU has committed itself to addressing problems in waste management. One of the items is also the reduction of the decommissioned bio-waste at landfills. Today, about 800,000 t / y of bio-waste is landfilled at landfills, this amount is planned to be reduced to about 250 000 t / y by 31.12.2020. One of the acceptable methods of disposing biowaste is composting. The experiment of bio-waste subsidence in a composting plant has been carried out in this paper and measurements of subsidence were measured for 8 weeks. After the measurement, the random number generator "threw out" 5%, respectively 25% of the value. For the missing data the method of imputation and the mothod of deleter lines (Listwise deletion) were applied. The goodness of matching with the actual data is shown by using descriptive statistics.

Ovim radom se ukazuje na postupke pročišćavanja otpadnih voda, te sa željom za očuvanjem vode potrebno je redovito provoditi kontrolu odnosno nadzor nad dolaznim i ispusnim vodama. Rad je koncipiran u nekoliko cjelina. U uvodnom djelu upućeni smo u opće informacije o vodi, načinu kruženja u prirodi te problemima koje donosi njihovo onečišćenje, dok su u drugom dijelu opisane otpadne vode, njihova fizikalna svojstva te glavna podjela. U trećem djelu objašnjene su glavne metode pročišćavanja otpadnih voda te daljnja podjela postupaka i uređaja. U četvrtom i petom djelu objašnjen je pogon za pročišćvanje podzemne vode u Ravniku, te su prikazani konceptualni modeli i njihove funkcije. This article refers to the processes of wastewater treatment, and with the desire to preserve the water it is necessary to regularly carry out control and supervision of the incoming and outgoing water. The work is divided into several sections. In the introductory part we addressed the general information on water circulation mode in nature and problems brought on their pollution, while the second part describes the waste water, their physical properties and main division. The third part explains the main methods of wastewater treatment and subdivision methods and devices. In the fourth and fifth part, an explanation of the groundwater treatment plant in Ravnik is presented, and conceptual models and their functions.

Ukupna duljina željeznike pruge u Hrvatskoj je približno 3.000,000 kilometara. S obziromna starost pruga, esto se javlja potreba za rekonstrukcijom dijela pruge.Procjena utjecaja na okoliš rekonstrukcije željeznike pruge je vrlo bitan segment zaštiteokoliša. Osnovna podloga za procjenu je Studija utjecaja na okoliš. Studija utjecaja na okolišrekonstrukcije željeznike pruge obuhvaa analizu parametara i podataka o sastavnicamaokoliša, detektira negativne parametre i njihov utjecaj na okoliš, te daje mjere zaštite okoliša iprogram praenja stanja okoliša tijekom projektiranja i izvoenja radova rekonstrukcije pruge, tetijekom korištenja željeznike pruge nakon rekonstrukcije.Cilj i svrha procijene utjecaja na okoliš rekonstrukcije željeznike pruge je kroz propisanuproceduru procijeniti utjecaj rekonstrukcije željeznike pruge na okoliš, te odrediti potrebnemjere zaštite okoliša, kako bi se negativni utjecaji sveli na najmanju moguu mjeru i kako bi sepostigla ouvanost kakvoe okoliša. The total length of railway line in Croatia is approximately 3.000,000 kilometres.Considering the age of the railway lines, there is often a need for reconstruction of part of the railway.The environmental impact assessment of reconstruction of the railway line is a very important part of environmental protection. The primary basis for the assessment is The environmental impact study.The environmental impact study of the reconstruction of railway includes an analysis of the parameters and data on environmental components, detects negative parameters and their impact on the environment, and provides environmental protection measures and environmental monitoring program during designing and reconstruction of the railway, and during the use of the railway line after reconstruction.The aim and purpose of the environmental impact assessment of reconstruction of the railway line, through the proper procedure, is to assess the impact of the railway on the environment and to determine the necessary environmental protection measures, in order to reduce negative impact to a minimum and to achieve the preservation of environmental quality.

U ovom završnom radu, kroz teoriju i primjer, objašnjava se način gospodarenja građevnim otpadom koji sadrži azbest. Rad je koncipiran u nekoliko cjelina. U uvodnom dijelu objašnjen je pojam azbesta, njegovo podrijetlo te primjena u prošlosti. Druga cjelina pobliže objašnjava azbest, njegovu podjelu, primjenu u graditeljstvu te njegovu prisutnost u svakodnevnom životu. Nadalje, treća cjelina objašnjava azbestni otpad, njegovo sakupljanje, oporabu, transport. U trećoj cjelini dan je primjer zbrinjavanja otpada koji sadrži azbest na odlagalištu u Totovcu. Gospodarenje otpadom s naglaskom na gospodarenje otpadom koji sadrži azbest objašnjeno je u četvrtoj cjelini, dok su peta i šesta cjelina usmjerene na mjere zaštite te bolesti koje izaziva azbest. Na kraju rada slijedi zaključak kao osvrt na cjelokupan rad. In this work, using theory and examples, I attempted to explain management of construction waste that contains asbestos. The work is divided into serval sections. The introduction briefly explained term of asbestos, its origin and applications in the past. The second section describes something more about asbestos, its classifications, application in construction and its presence in daily life. Further, a third section explains asbestos waste, collection, recycling and transportation. Besides everything, in third section is an example of waste management for waste which contains asbestos on waste landfill Totovec. Waste management with a focus on the management of waste asbestos is explained in fourth sections, while the fifth and sixth section are focused on protection measures and diseases caused by asbestos. In the end there is the conclusion which is written as a review of entire work

Geostatistika je metodologija u analizi prostorno koreliranih podataka čije je glavno obilježje upotreba variograma kao i tehnika za kvantificiranje i modeliranje prostornih odnosa podataka. Geostatistika je grana primijenjene statistike koja primjenjuje teorije determinističke procjene. Tradicionalno se koristi u geoznanostima. Variogram je jedan od osnovnih geostatističkih alata. Variogram prikazuje strukturu slučajnog polja koji može ovisiti samo o udaljenosti između dviju mjernih točaka i razlici vrijednosti među njima. Modeli i interpretacije temeljene na geostatističkim metodama često se rade pomoću računalnih programa. Stoga su primjena i razvoj geostatistike usko vezani s razvojem informacijskih znanosti. Geostatistics is the methodology in the analysis of spatially correlated data whose main characteristic is the use of variograms and techniques for quantifying and modeling the spatial relationships of data. Geostatistics is a branch of applied statistics that applies theory deterministic assessment. Traditionally used in geosciences. Variogram is one of the basic geostatistical tools. Variogram shows the structure of a random field, which can depend only on the distance between the two measuring points and the difference value between them. Geostatistical models and interpretations very often are made by using computer programs. Consequently, application and development of geostatistics are closely connected with progress of information science.

U ovom završnom radu govori se o građevinskom otpadu te o gospodarenju i ukidanju statusa otpada. Uvodni dio rada opisuje građevni otpad općenito i njegovu podjelu prema vrsti i mjestu nastanka. Opisuje se otpad od rušenja, opasni otpad, neopasni otpad, inertni otpad te otpad koji sadrži azbest. Navedeni su postupci pomoću kojih se određuje u koji grupu spada otpad i njegovo klasificiranje prema ključnim brojevima te su nabrojane vrste otpada koje spadaju u građevinski otpad i otpad od rušenja (uključujući i otpad od iskapanja onečišćenog tla). Građevni otpad je otpad koji spada u posebnu vrstu otpada te se u drugom dijelu rada opisuje gospodarenje takvim otpadom, a temeljni cilj gospodarenja građevnog otpada je da se što manje građevnog otpada odloži na trajna odlagališta, a što više oporabljuje recikliranjem. U završnom dijelu opisuje se način ukidanja statusa otpada te uvjeti koje građevinski otpad mora zadovoljiti da mu se ukine taj status . This this final work deals with the construction and demolition waste, and on waste disposal and cancellation of the status of waste. The introductory section of this paper describes the construction waste in general and the distribution by type and place of origin. It describes the demolition waste, dangerous waste, harmless waste, inert waste and waste containing asbestos. Procerude determining to which group belongs the waste and its classification according to key numbers are described in the paper and types of waste are listed belonging in construction waste and demolition waste (including waste from the excavation of contaminated soil). Construction waste is waste that falls into a special type of waste, and the second part of this paper describes the management of such waste, and the fundamental objective of managing construction waste is to minimize construction waste disposed on a permanent disposal site, and recovere as much as possible waste by recycling. The final part describes the method of the cancellation the status of waste and the conditions that waste must meet to to cancel his status of waste.

U ovom radu obrađene su vrste, količine i kvalitete mineralnih sirovina te karakteristike ležišta EP „Špica“ kao i detaljan prikaz utjecaja rada eksploatacijskog polja na okoliš te važnost provođenja mjera zaštite okoliša. Poseban naglasak je na načinu eksploatacije, miniranju. Poštujući propisane mjere zaštite negativni utjecaji cjelokupnog rada eksploatacijskog polja na okoliš smanjuju se na najmanju moguću mjeru. Iako miniranje značajno utječe na okoliš, prvenstveno na sastavnice okoliša: zrak, voda, biljne i životinjske svojte, tlo, krajobraz, ti utjecaji mogu se ublažiti te svesti na prihvatljive. Samo miniranje najjači utjecaj na okoliš ima zbog emisije buke te zbog seizmičkog djelovanja koje se manifestira u vidu oscilacija i elastičnih deformacija stijene, te predstavlja umjetni potres, pri kojem je mjesto eksplozije njegov epicentar. Radi zaštite okoliša od razbacivanja mase važno je pridržavati se pravilne geometrije minskog polja, dozvoljene količine eksploziva po stupnju paljenja, korištenje milisekundnih usporivača i dr. This thesis discusses the type, quantity and quality of mineral resources and the characteristics of the area EP "Špica" as well as a detailed overview of the impact of the exploitation field on the environment and the importance of the implementation of environmental protection measures. Special emphasis is on the method of exploitation, mining. By respecting the prescribed safety measures, negative effects of the functioning of the exploitation field on the environment are reduced to a minimum. While mining has a significant impact on the environment, primarily in the environmental media: air, water, vegetation, animal species, soil, landscape, these impacts can be mitigated and reduced to acceptable level. Mining itself has the strongest impact on the environment because of high noise and because of seismic activity that manifests itself in the form of vibrations and elastic deformations of the rocks; and it can be foreseen as an artificial earthquake, at which the explosion position reperesnts its epicenter. To protect the environment against sputtering of the mass, it is important to stick to the correct geometry of the minefield, the permitted amount of explosives per stage of ignition, the use of millisecond retarders and others.
