Oklahoma's Quality Jobs Project has created the proper incentive to attract businesses wherein cash incentives are offered by economic developers. Qualifying firms report of quarterly cash payments amounting to as much as 5% of the new payroll for up to 10 years. A cost benefit analysis was used to ensure revenue-neutrality and to enable the state to enhance incentives without affecting state budget or the existing business conditions.
