The article presents information on slides depicting military policy of the U.S. on Iraq, which were obtained by the National Security Archive under Freedom of Information Act. The slides outlined projection of stable, pro-American and democratic Iraq. The slides made it clear that the war planning was under way well before the visit of U.S. President George W. Bush to the United Nations to declare dictator Saddam Hussein's weapons program a threat to international security.
