This paper aims to examine the role of blockchain technology for the circular economy to enhance organisational performance in the context of China–Pakistan-Economic-Corridor (CPEC). A close-ended questionnaire-based survey of manufacturing firms was administered to collect cross-sectional data from 290 respondents, which has been analysed through structural equation modelling. The circular economy approach in supply chain management offers environmental as well as economic benefits to the organisations. With the beginning of the Industry 4.0 era, there is an emphasis on technology in every field. A relatively recent phenomenon of blockchain technology promises lots of potential improvement in business operations. According to our results, with features such as visibility, transparency, relationship management, and smart contracting, blockchain technology was found to play a positive role in the circular economy. Furthermore, green practices were found to have a positive nexus with environmental and economic pathways to the firms' performance, whereas environmental performance was also found to have a positive nexus with the economic health of the firm. This study aims to empirically evaluate the effect of low carbonation, crime rate, and logistical infrastructure on tourism and economic development of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) tourist countries through structural equation modeling for the sample period from 2011 to 2019. The proposed model presented six hypotheses among four constructs that suggest that logistic performance and renewable energy consumption positively affect tourism, whereas the crime rate harms tourism in ASEAN countries. As far as the economic growth of ASEAN countries is concerned, it is positively affected by logistic performance, renewable energy, and tourism. Thus, it can be concluded that better ecological conditions with less carbon emission through the use of renewable energy, efficient logistics services and infrastructure, and a peaceful environment with a low‐crime rate can boost the tourists' arrival, which in turn would be beneficial for the economy of ASEAN countries. The world faces a high alert of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), leading to a million deaths and could become infected to reach a billion numbers. A sizeable amount of scholarly work has been available on different aspects of social-economic and environmental factors. At the same time, many of these studies found the linear (direct) causation between the stated factors. In many cases, the direct relationship is not apparent. The world is unsure about the possible determining factors of the COVID-19 pandemic, which need to be known through conducting nonlinearity (indirect) relationships, which caused the pandemic crisis. The study examined the nonlinear relationship between COVID-19 cases and carbon damages, managing financial development, renewable energy consumption, and innovative capability in a cross section of 65 countries. The results show that inbound foreign direct investment first increases and later decreases because of the increasing coronavirus cases. Further, the rise and fall in the research and development expenditures and population density exhibits increasing coronavirus cases across countries. The continued economic growth initial decreases later increase by adopting standardized operating procedures to contain coronavirus disease. The inter-temporal relationship shows that green energy source and carbon damages would likely influence the coronavirus cases with a variance of 17.127% and 5.440%, respectively, over a time horizon. The policymakers should be carefully designing sustainable healthcare policies, as the cost of carbon emissions leads to severe healthcare issues, which are likely to get exposed to contagious diseases, including COVID-19. The sustainable policy instruments, including renewable fuels in industrial production, advancement in cleaner production technologies, the imposition of carbon taxes on dirty production, and environmental certifications, are a few possible remedies that achieve healthcare sustainability agenda globally. The purpose of the research is to test the impact of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (ADMATECH) on Management accounting (MACCT) along with the impact of both of these variables i.e. ADMATECH and MACCT on company's performance (CPF). Further the mediating role of MACCT system between ADMATECH and CPF was also analyzed. Data from 263 manufacturing companies of Pakistan was collected through questionnaire that was taken from different researches. ADMATECH, MACCT and CPF were taken as exogenous, mediating and endogenous variables respectively. To analyze the contingency model of MACCT practices different test were applied that includes validity, reliability and regression. For all these analysis version 23 of SPSS was used. The outcomes showed that the usage of ADMATECH has no effect on CPF i.e. there is an insignificant influence of ADMATECH on CPF. Further results showed that ADMATECH has an effect on the usage of MACCT system i.e. ADMATECH has a significant influence on MACCT system. So it can be said that implementation of ADMATECH stresses on greater usage of MACCT system. Results have also indicated a significant influence of MACCT practices on CPF. This means MACCT system help corporations to compete in competitive environment which ultimately improves CPF. Finally it was also found that the link between AMATECH and CPF was indirect via MACCT i.e. MACCT is a full mediator between ADMATECH and CPF. According to researcher's knowledge about Pakistan, the relationship between these three factors have not been explored in Pakistan. So the researcher has tried to find out the relation between these three variables i.e. ADMATECH, MACCT and CPF. The outcomes of this research will assist managers of these companies in determining whether the usage of ADMATECH is beneficial to increase CPF, with the mediating role of MACCT system.
