The article offers a look at the complex knitted sculptures of artist Marie-Rose Lortet. Lortet was born in Strasbourg, France in 1945. Her early works can be traced from the collages of assembled artifacts that she has created. Throughout her work, Lortet continued to issue a challenge to the common associations of textiles, although her knitted clothes are never functional. Some of her works include "Cage-Jacket," "Outfit for a Crisis" and "Small Heads Staring Into Space." According to the author, Lortet's clothes can be described with having little protection.

The article discusses the sculptural architecture works of the French artist Robert Tatin. The artist formed a courtyard of totems and temples that are designed with the ancient Chinese symbols of Yin and Yang and covered with interlacing geometric representations of woman and man and the moon and the sun. The statues in the Avenue of Giants created by Tatin reflect his historic and artistic family including Joan of Arc and Alfred Jarry. The Gateway of the Giants consists of the father-figures of western art such as Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn, Ferdinand Victor Eugène Delacroix, and Vincent Willem van Gogh.

The article features the design of the La Maison Picassiette, located in Chartres, France. It is made up of brike glass and crockery from its courtyards to interior as well as some house decorations. It is owned by Raymond Isidore. This began in 1928 when Isidore acquired four acres of fallow land for 450 francs and was determined to build a house for his wife and three stepchildren. The house features The Wall of Jerusalem and the Throne of the Spirit of the Sky, the narrow passage leading through the Wall of Chartres to the Door of Paradise and the Sweeper's Tomb, among others.
