This book illustrates the scientific results of the studies and researches on strategic transformation areas in the city of Pescara. The studies were performed as part of the important Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Department of Architecture of the Università G. d'Annunzio and the Pescara Municipality. The first volume focuses on the ‘Vision', i.e., the city of the future concept involving the establishment of strategic medium-to-long term objectives.
