Objectives: Accurate scientific planning and societal macro policies require reviewing and evaluating research output. Scientometrics offers a valuable approach for assessing the activity of journals that publish a majority of scientific productions. This study aims to analyze the scientific activity of the Iranian Rehabilitation Journal (IRJ) by examining its publication history in the Scopus database. Methods: This bibliometric analysis adopts a scientometrics approach and includes all documents published in IRJ indexed in the Scopus database. Data collection and analysis were performed using VOSviewer and Excel software. Results: IRJ has been active since 2003, initially publishing seven articles in the Scopus database. The journal boasts an H-index 11 and has produced 701 documents over 20 years. The citation score for the journal in 2022 was approximately 0.6. The University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences had the highest number of affiliated articles (n=395). The most productive author was “Dadkhah” with 42 documents; the most cited author was “Masah”. Most documents are articles written in English, and the most frequently used keyword is “Rehabilitation”. Discussion: This study offers an overview of the status of IRJ, indicating an increasing trend in the number of documents published and citations received since its establishment. The research findings can serve as a road map for researchers in the field of rehabilitation, providing valuable insights for future studies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Intellectual property laws should not be strict protection frameworks for free Access to Information. Instead, as digital space has made it easier to access Information and blur the geographical boundaries of knowledge, Access to Information is permitted for all by amending intellectual property laws nationally and internationally. This is a quantitative study to bridge the gap between the richness and poverty of Information and a means of disseminating knowledge. The Information needed to answer the questions of this research was collected using a researcher-made questionnaire (content analysis and Delphi panel) consisting of five main components (publisher, author, publications, subject, and commercialization) and 63 questions. Questionnaires were sent to the study's statistical population, which was all the open-access medical journals approved by the Ministry of Health. Based on the type of variables, data were described with mean and standard deviation indices for quantitative and frequency variables and frequency percentages for qualitative variables. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS software version 24. The findings of this study are presented in several different tables to examine the intellectual property components and the databases indexing medical journals. Publications indexed on all three sites of Scopus, Web of Science, and PubMed are components one and three due to deviations from the norm. The Kruskal-Wallis test was used to examine the uniformity of the score distribution of the components mentioned in the indexes. Only the four components of normality are established. According to the findings, all components have a significant relationship with the index, language, publisher, and time of publications of the Ministry of Health. This questionnaire can be used to provide an intellectual property model for open-access medical journals. And using the presented model to review and evaluate open-access journals in the field of medicine. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective Nowadays, organizations and institutions evaluate their performance to ensure that they are taking the right steps towards their goals and missions. In this regard, universities and research institutes assess their success in achieving their goals by analyzing their scientific outputs and productions. This study aims to investigate the scientific productions and collaborations of the authors affiliated with the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences (USWRS) in Scopus database in comparison with five medical universities. Materials & Methods This study, using scientometric techniques, was conducted on June 5, 2021. The information about scientific productions of the USWRS and other five universities of Golestan University of Medical Sciences, Qazvin University of Medical Sciences, Semnan University of Medical Sciences, Hamedan University of Medical Sciences, Zanjan University of Medical Sciences were identified were extracted from the Scopus database and then converted into scalable format in Sci2 software. The output was then plotted in VOSviewer software. Results The mean number of authors for the USWRS in each article was 9, and the highest scientific collaborations was with the authors from United States, United Kingdom and Sweden. The authors for the USWRS also had a significant co-authorship with each other. According to the national ranking, this university was ranked 23 lower than Hamedan University of Medical Sciences and Golestan University of Medical Sciences. In terms of the number of published papers, it was in the second place after Hamadan University of Medical Sciences. The level of international cooperation of this university was more than other compared universities. Conclusion It seems that the USWRS's scientific policy has been successful in increasing the scientific productions. More efforts should be made in this university to establish scientific collaborations with other universities at the national and international levels for encouraging authors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

INTELLECTUAL property , *CONFIRMATORY factor analysis , *EXPLORATORY factor analysis , *CRONBACH'S alpha , *SCIENTIFIC community - Abstract
Intellectual property is necessary in the flourish of research, development, and science as well as technology promotion in the new Internet and digital spaces. The key purpose of the protection of intellectual property is to prevent abuse and plagiarism, to encourage scientists and authors to conduct scientific research and literary activities, and to make their results accessible to the scientific community. Compliance with the codes of ethics, intellection, and human rights are the reason for the application of the laws of intellectual property rights at the national and international levels. The present study is an applied-exploratory study and a quantitative-qualitative research. The researcher-made questionnaire (content analysis and Delphi panel) consists of five main components (publisher, author, publications, subject, and commercialization) and 63 questions. Questionnaires were sent to the statistical population of the study, which was all the open access medical journals. About 611 completed questionnaires were entered into spss24 software. Validity and reliability, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and finally presentation of the model with PLS software were examined on the questionnaires. As can be seen from the findings, Cronbach's alpha values, composite reliability, and average variance are statistically acceptable. In addition, the Cronbach's alpha coefficient for most factors is greater than 0.7. Therefore, it is inferred that the variables have acceptable reliability. The AVE value is calculated for the components, with almost all variables having an acceptable convergent validity. The results show that there is a significant difference between the components. Considering the obtained results, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the factors and intellectual property of journals. The quality indicators of the model confirmed this correlation as well. Finally, the results show that the questionnaire can be used with open access medical journals to examine intellectual property. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
