The cultivation of entrepreneurship in students has become an increasingly pertinent goal within global educational systems. Previous research examining the impact of entrepreneurial education programs on students' entrepreneurial intentions has yielded conflicting results. This article delves into the hypothesis that this relationship is influenced by endogenous factors, such as locus of control and self-efficacy. It posits that the role of these variables contributes to elucidating the ambiguities prevalent in the literature. Employing the Theory of Planned Behavior, as a theoretical framework, this study investigates the connection between entrepreneurial training programs, endogenous factors, and entrepreneurial intention. The analysis is based on a sample of Italian students who participated in the Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students' Survey (GUESSS). The hypotheses were tested using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and subsequently fuzzy set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA). The results affirm that entrepreneurial intention is positively influenced by a combination of exogenous and endogenous factors. The study offers insights for a more profound understanding of entrepreneurial training dynamics and the development of flourishing and dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystems. Furthermore, it demonstrates that integrating the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) provides a useful framework for capturing the complex nature of the entrepreneurial intention phenomenon. Research background: Despite the increased interest in business model innovation (BMI) in the last 20 years, the current research landscape still lacks empirical efforts aimed at investigating the underexplored link between BMI and innovation performance. This is doubly true in specific contexts like Central European countries, whereas innovation systems are weaker than in Western ones, and firms strongly depend on internal R&D activities and absorptive capacity and technology upgrades via cooperation with other countries. Purpose of the article: This study draws on the BMI theory with the aim of analyzing the effects of each individual BMI element on firms’ performance in terms of creation of radical innovations vs incremental ones. Methods: The data used are from the Community Innovation Survey (CIS) 2018 — the latest micro data available to date — focusing on 16,364 firms in Central Europe, namely 5,749 Czech, 7,377 Hungarian, and 3,238 Slovakian firms. As the explained (dependent) variables are dichotomous (binary: 1 indicates the answer is yes, 0 indicates the answer is no) for all estimated models, a binary logistic regression is used in order to focus on the individual elements representing BMI and analyse their separated effects on firms’ creation of radical and incremental innovations in Central Europe. Individual BMI elements are: BMI methods, logistics, communication, accounting, external relations, human resource management, and marketing. Moreover, we check for control variables such as tax credits and allowances of R&D, public funding of innovation, cooperation with other organizations on R&D or other activities, in-house R&D activities and contracted out ones, lack of finance, lack of skilled employees and internal financial resources, and size. Findings & value added: For radical innovators, practices for organising procedures and external relations are important. For incremental innovators, methods of organising work responsibility, decision making, and human resource management are significant. Surprisingly, regardless of the innovation radicality, several BMI elements are significant. This study suggests that managers should enhance strategic collaborations with external partners out of Central Europe, exploit their absorptive capacity, and increase the knowledge and experience of their employees, whilst policymakers should keep on providing tax credits and allowances for innovation activities, maintaining a supportive infrastructure and reducing administrative burdens. This study aims to enhance people's mobility in the context of mobility restrictions in the Palestinian territories, West Bank. It aims to develop a comprehensive route planning model that prioritises safety and optimises travel time while also considering sustainability issues. Unlike previous research, which has often focused solely on traffic crashes and physical road considerations in safety route planning, this study addresses the gap by developing a comprehensive model that integrates new risk criteria including mobility restrictions and violent events. The methodology involves historical and real-time data collection and processing, machine learning-based travel time prediction, and route optimisation using Dijkstra's algorithm. The results highlight the significant impact of violent incidents on comprehensive risk scores, offering insights for proactive, sustainable measures. The waiting time prediction model performs strongly, with (R-squared) R2 values ranging from 80% to 92%. The developed route planning model provides three categorised routes under mobility restrictions—safest, fastest, and shortest—offering travellers sustainable and tailored options. This paper compares two literature reviews on cybersecurity issues focused on the mature organisations, business and management field, and the embryonic tourism and hospitality area. Hence, we use the general study on the former as a benchmark for the narrower review on the latter, to map the current trends and identify the corresponding gaps. Findings suggest the following topic clusters for future research: (1) machine learning, artificial intelligence, blockchain, big data; (2) fraud and reputation; (3) phishing and social engineering; (4) human security and user education. The Covid‐19 pandemic has caused a significant decline in stock markets worldwide, and organizations are experiencing serious financial problems. Protecting and preserving firm value are critical ways to help organizations survive the crisis. This study analyzes a sample of 45 firms listed on the Polish Stock Market in two periods to determine the relationship among green initiatives, the triple bottom line (TBL) perspective, and firm value in the periods before and during the crisis caused by the Covid‐19 pandemic. The results show that firms with higher green initiatives are more likely to obtain better TBL performance during the normal period. Economic and social dimensions of TBL positively influence firm value regardless of the period, but the same is not true of the ecological dimension. The Covid‐19 pandemic's negative impact on investors' perception does not translate to firm value. This study provides the first empirical evidence on the value of organizations affected by the Covid‐19 pandemic in the context of environmental management.
