Abstract

This study investigates the efforts of Indonesian pre-service teachers in developing their technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) skills during teaching practicum, explores the obstacles they encounter in this process, and examines their responses to the challenges of TPACK skills development. Employing qualitative narrative inquiry as the research method, the study interviews five pre-service teachers from various study programs to gain insights into their experiences. The findings demonstrate that Indonesian pre-service teachers employ diverse strategies to enhance their TPACK skills, including observing experienced teachers, participating in workshops or online courses, reading relevant literature on TPACK, and consistently integrating TPACK into their teaching practice. However, they face obstacles such as a lack of confidence in their teaching abilities, limited time and resources for reflective practice, and inadequate self-awareness regarding their skills. To overcome these obstacles, they respond by collaborating with peers and mentors, engaging in reflective teaching practice, and setting goals for each practicum session. The study provides valuable insights for teacher training institutions (TTIs), educators, practitioners, and policymakers, facilitating the implementation of more effective strategies for integrating TPACK in future events. Abstract

Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Co, and Cu, have been investigated as a third dopant in NiFe sulfide for enhanced oxygen evolution reaction (OER)/oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). The effects of dopant on surface electronic structure, conductivity, and thermodynamic barrier of reaction are addressed and discussed. For the OER, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis shows that electron transferring from the Ni to the dopants enhances the catalytic performance of the sulfide. Cu doped NiFe sulfide exhibits the best OER performance. For the ORR, density functional theory calculation indicates that Ti, V, Mn, Co, and Cu upshift the d‐band center (ɛd), while Cr downshifts the ɛd. Among the dopants, V leads to optimized electronic structure modification, giving optimized adsorption energy of *O on the Ni, the lowest rate determining step ΔG1, and the best ORR activity. By considering E10‐E1/2 together with the maximum current density of the OER and limited diffusion current density of the ORR, NiFeVS exhibits the best OER/ORR bifunctionality. The performance of NiFeVS as a cathodic catalyst has also been evaluated in a zinc air battery, demonstrating a specific capacity of 698 mAh g−1, maximum power density of 190 mW cm−2, and a superior cycle stability of 2400 cycles (400 h). Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of self esteem and learning motivation on learning achievement with the mediator of emotional intelligence in students at SMAN 39 Jakarta. The sample of this study consisted of students at SMAN 39 Jakarta. Data were collected through questionnaires that measured the level of self esteem, learning motivation, emotional intelligence, and learning achievement. Data analysis was conducted using path analysis method with mediation approach. The results showed that there is a relationship between Self Esteem has a positive effect of 0.23 and a significant t value = 2.27 on Learning Achievement. Learning motivation has a positive effect of 0.27 and a significant t value = 4.51 on Emotional Intelligence. Emotional Intelligence has a negative effect of -0.22 and a value of t = -2.10 which means significant to Learning Achievement. Self Esteem has more influence on Emotional Intelligence than Learning Achievement, Learning motivation has more influence on Learning Achievement than Emotional Intelligence. The results of this study provide further understanding of the factors that influence student achievement, as well as the importance of the role of emotional intelligence as a mediator in the relationship between self esteem and learning motivation with learning achievement. This research has important implications in the context of education, especially in efforts to improve student achievement. The results of this study can be used as a basis for developing programs and interventions that aim to improve students' self esteem, learning motivation, and emotional intelligence. Abstract

Humans really have a desire to live comfortably. To achieve a healthier life, there are many factors that must be considered so that humans can maintain their health and clean the surrounding environment. A common problem in many countries is related to waste. Traditional markets are one of the biggest contributors to waste. All activities in the market trigger the generation of waste every day. Therefore, market management rules are needed which are clearly regulated in Perda Kabupaten Dharmasraya Nomor 9 Tahun 2015 concerning Waste Management. Management of traditional markets is the responsibility of the government as a public sector service to the community. The main problem of waste management is the limited ability of the government to deal with problems of waste production and collection. Due to the large number of people who depend on traditional markets, so the waste generated from activities in these markets. 14. Simulasi Pengaruh Durasi Pengisian-Pengosongan Terhadap Performa Baterai Dinamis Asam Timbal

Abstract

Baterai dinamis asam timbal berbasis redoks adalah jenis baterai sekunder yang dapat diisi ulang atau rechargeable dengan kondisi elektrolit dialirkan melewati sel oleh pompa. Sistem baterai yang dibuat adalah simulasi menggunakan software COMSOL Multiphysics.5.1.Win.SSQ. Simulasi dilakukan pada 1 sel baterai dinamis asam timbal pada suhu kerja 300 K, volume 1000 cc, densitas arus 200 mA/cm2 dengan 4 variasi durasi pengisian-pengosongan yaitu 1 jam, 1,5 jam, 2 jam dan 2,5 jam selama satu siklus. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa bertambahnya waktu pengisian-pengosongan mampu meningkatkan tegangan kerja baterai, meningkatkkan konsentrasi dipermukaan elektroda dan jumlah ion aktif pada elektrolit. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengisian baterai dinamis asam timbal dari 1 jam hingga 2,5 jam belum mencapai pengisian penuh baterai yang dibuat karena tegangan akhir belum mencapai 2,4 Volt. Efisiensi energi pada baterai dinamis asam timbal memiliki rentang 72%-73%.

Profitabilitas dalam sebuah perusahaan perbankan menjadi salah satu komponen yang sangat penting. Bank di dalam menjalankan usahanya memiliki produk kredit yang menjadi pemasukan bagi perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bukti empiris berkaitan dengan pengaruh Capital Adequacy Ratio non performing loan dan loan deposit ratio terhadap return on assets pada perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2015-2017. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling dan diperoleh 43 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2015-2017. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji asumsi klasik dan analisis regresi linear berganda menggunakan program SPSS 16. nbsp Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) capital adequacy ratio tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap return on assets (2) non performing loan berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap return on assets (3) loan deposit ratio tidak berpengaruh terhadap return on asset. Abstract

Charging time is one of the important things for secondary batteries due to the effectiveness of the battery on charge storage, especially on the dynamic battery. A dynamic battery is a new type of secondary battery with an electrolyte flow from an outside chamber into the battery by using a pump. Dynamic flow battery has been built using Pb and PbO2 with a size of 22.5 x 7.5 cm² as electrodes and 30% H2SO4 solution as an electrolyte. Variations of charging time was conducted on a dynamic lead acid battery with variation 0.5 h, 1.0 h, 1.5 h, 2.0 h, and 2.5 h at constant electric current 1 A. The result shows that dynamic lead acid battery single cell has secondary battery character that can be charged at voltages of 1.92-2.17 V and discharged at voltages of 1.97-1.81 V. Experiments show a linear relationship between charging time and battery capacity. The longer charging time, the larger the charge stored in the battery. Charging time of 0.5 h can hold charges until 630 mAh and a discharge time until 0.55 h while a charging time of 2.5 h can hold charges of 3838 mAh and a discharge time 3.83 h. Abstract

Electrolyte are an important part of a battery. The proper use of electrolyte and sufficient quantities will increase the capacity and the energy efficiency. Redox Flow Battery (RFB) is a new type of battery that can be charge and the electrolyte can flow through the battery. Redox flow battery designed by using two electrode (Pb and PbO) and sulfuric acid solution as electrolyte. Experiment was conducted by using single cell operate in range 1,8 - 2,4 V for charging and 2,0 - 1,8 V for discharging, electric curret 1 A, electrode surface area 22,5 x 7,5 cm² and three cycle charge-discharge. Experimental results show that average dynamic lead acid battery or RFB model capacity increase by 614 mAh from 6207 mAh in static state and 6821 mAh when the electrolyte flow into battery. Average energy efficiency for static state is 77% smaller than dynamic state of lead acid flow battery with value 83 %. When the RFB fully charged, the time discharging for dynamic model is 6,79 hours longer than static mode with value 6,17 hours. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
