In this correspondence, philologist Sebastiano Timpanaro and historian Carlo Ginzburg discuss the role of Freud's work. The letters provide an important source for the Italian reception of psychoanalysis in its relation to the emergence of microhistory, by opening a window on to the political-intellectual microcosm of the 1970s and on an epistemological debate crucial to the understanding of psychoanalysis and the human sciences at large. The present article mainly aims to explain how the "visual discourse" is shaped via a phenomenological or presence dimension in the story of Abraham using the semiotic analysis of discourse and is shaped via an aesthetic-emotional dimension by creating a momentum in the main character of story. Finally, the state leads to meaning production and action. At the beginning of the story, there is a stative system, followed by the discursive and prescriptive systems in th whole axiologicsl regime of the story. The present research seeks to investigate the following questions: 1.Based on what kinds of semiotic systems the story of Abraham is narrated? 2.Can newer angles of meanings be achieved by illustrating the visual discourse system in the story of Abraham? The research hypothesis is that the discourses that govern the story of Abraham are capable of being examined from a semiotic perspective because of enjoying the action, state, and the value actions dimensions. In The story of Abraham, state is prior to action which creates a redefinition of the discourse patterns and semiotic fluctuations in the relationship between actors. In the discursive paradigm of this story, the subject shows a phenomenological presence with a transcendental dimension Accordingly, the story of Abraham becomes visually transcendent and transforms itself into a new meta-value in the process of aesthetic activity in the form of state. In this phenomenal presence of state, God's will come to pass as a factor beyond human will. It can be seen that many discursive systems such as the stative system, sensory-perceptual, and action-prescriptive ones are present in this discourse by the semiotic analysis of the story of Abraham. The state system is a sensory-perceptual system that establishes the celestial objects as the first object of contact and then the visual sense of the transient conditions of self and communication with the outside world in this story. Accordingly, meaning is not always formed by actional factors, but what results in this story is action and then the formation of the story by phenomenological and aesthetic states. The place of this story in emotional - affective discursive systems discursive system indicates that the meaning is not an absolute and closed system, but it changes according to the type of discursive system in which the meaning is a living and fluid element and is formed on the basis of particular discursive conditions. By analyzing the state system at the beginning of the story, it can be observed that in a trans-temporal and transspatial process, Abraham becomes an aesthetic state. Faced with the aesthetic scene of the visual discourse and ultimately the intuition of the heavenly kingdom, he attains a certain degree of certainty and phenomenal experience and then interprets this experience as action. Accordingly, an axiological system is formed. It can be concluded that in Abraham’s story, he becomes an active stative subject in the fluid and dynamic meaning construction, and creates meanings and values out of the beloved’s truth in the actional discursive system. The story of the goldsmith Ḥasan al-Baṣrī in the Arabian Nights preserves numerous traces of more ancient stories and testimonies of cultures apparently distant geographically and historically. In particular, it is possible to identify various elements that refer to the symbols and customs of shamanism, although transformed and rewritten according to the Arab-Islamic culture. The same phenomenon is found with the fragments of Greek mythology scattered throughout the story and especially with the adventures of the Argonauts whose affinities with the story of Ḥasan are rather amazing. The study has been conducted by comparing three BNF manuscripts that present significant differences in some points, reflecting the evolution of the Arabic text and the different mentality of the copyists who have reworked some passages. The assertion from which we start in our critical reading is that in Adam and Eve speculation proves its inefficiency in the face of death and fear of cosmic loneliness of the individual. The metaphysics of the soul, reflected both in the Spirit-Soul-Divinity speculation, the biographic insertion through the feeling of deja vù, the theme of harmony and initial purity recovery at the spiritual level, are just a few of the study objectives. The research method is analytical. The first conclusion of the study is that, thematically, Liviu Rebreanu's literature is not one-dimensional. In Adam and Eve, the writer is not contented to understand the mystery of existence only from the sublime perspective of the eros. He goes deep into the inner, esoteric labyrinths of the existential foundations of the human being and into the religious sentiment through the attitude of man towards himself and to God. The article discusses the third type of the repetition philosophy in addition to the two types, the Nietzschean and the Platonic. It mentions that the third repetition is based on psychophysiology as a whole. It offers a comparison between poststructuralism and Sanskrit modes of self-referral in opening the awareness to expanded meaning.

This article attempts to rehabilitate the concept of fetishism and to contribute to the debate on the social role of objects as well as to fashion theory. Extrapolating from Michel Serres’ theory of the quasi-objects, I distinguish two phenomenologies possessing almost opposite characteristics. These two phenomenologies are, so I argue, essential to quasi-object theory, yet largely ignored by Serres’ sociological interpreters. They correspond with the two different theories of fetishism found in Marx and Durkheim, respectively. In the second half of the article, I introduce the fashion object as a unique opportunity for studying the interchange between these two forms of fetishism and their respective phenomenologies. By focusing on the narratives of the Armenians in Istanbul in relation to the place they call "home," this article talks about the lived experience of Armenianness in Turkey. Although many Armenians in Istanbul think that they have never left their homelands, not only the memory of the violent annihilation of the Armenian presence in Anatolia and the displacement of Armenians from their homelands, but also the current nationalist identity politics in Turkey which disrupts Armenians' ties with their cultural heritage and silences their memories, make them feel displaced in their home today. Thus, this article attempts to go beyond the mutually exclusive definitions of belonging and displacement by discussing the limits of the concept of diaspora in relation to the experience of being a "minority" at home. This article applies the concept of implicit religion to law in order to give a new understanding of English law: its sacredness and its theology; its organizational structures and its social forms. Having constructed a table of potential elements, illustrating the concept of implicit religion, read against both Christianity and Law, three entries from that table are explored in further detail. Ultimately, the article argues that not only is English law an implicit religion templated by Christianity, but that it contains within itself a sacred paradox, formed by the interaction of its implicit and explicit religious dimensions. As a backdrop to the debate about the influential theories of George Dumezil and whether they have been affected by ideological motives, a discussion of the historical relationships between the scholarly and the political interest in Aryan religion is presented, in the context of the sounds, visions, and messages of the total art of Richard Wagner. Wagner received inspiration for mythic themes from ancient Nordic, medieval and Christian text, and this strategy to produce myths so as to influence contemporary society, has been used continuously throughout recent history.
