From the consolidation of the psychology of sport as an independent scientific discipline at an international level, a great advance was developed that also favoured the consolidation of the applied field and the intervention, into two distinct political-geographic areas: the Eastern countries and the Western block. In both the performances began with the elite sport, and the figure of the psychologist as a member of the sports team. In 1979 the publication of Rainer Martens' article On Jackets and Jocks (Martens, 1979) mobilized the reflection of both researchers and applied psychologists. From its publication to the present day, this text became a reference text, especially when it came to direct interventions with athletes, and led to a reflection on the methodological difference between research and direct intervention. However, previously, in 1987, Martens himself had recommended and warned of the need to establish links between both spheres, academic and applied, to strengthen and give consistency to the psychology of sport (Garcia-Ucha and Martinez, 2014). A partir de la consolidación de la Psicología del Deporte como disciplina científica independiente a nivel internacional, se desarrolló un gran avance que favoreció también la consolidación del ámbito aplicado y de intervención, con dos áreas político- geográficas diferenciadas: los países del Este y el bloque occidental. En ambos se iniciaron actuaciones directas con el deporte de élite, y la figura del psicólogo como miembro del staff en los equipos deportivos fue estabilizándose. En 1979 la publicación del artículo de Rainer Martens, About smocks and jocks (Martens, 1979), movilizó la reflexión tanto de investigadores como de psicólogos aplicados. Desde su publicación hasta la actualidad, este texto se convirtió en un texto de referencia, especialmente a la hora de plantear intervenciones directas con deportistas, y propició que se estableciera una reflexión sobre la diferencia metodológica que debía darse entre investigación e intervención directa. Sin embargo ya anteriormente, en 1987, el propio Martens había recomendado y alertado de la necesidad de establecer nexos entre ambos ámbitos, académico y aplicado, para fortalecer y otorgar consistencia a la psicología del deporte (García-Ucha, y Martínez, 2014).

Human proteins are vulnerable towards disease-associated single amino acid replacements affecting protein stability and function. Interestingly, a few studies have shown that consensus amino acids from mammals or vertebrates can enhance protein stability when incorporated into human proteins. Here, we investigate yet unexplored relationships between the high vulnerability of human proteins towards disease-associated inactivation and recent evolutionary site-specific divergence of stabilizing amino acids. Using phylogenetic, structural and experimental analyses, we show that divergence from the consensus amino acids at several sites during mammalian evolution has caused local protein destabilization in two human proteins linked to disease: cancer-associated NQO1 and alanine: glyoxylate aminotransferase, mutated in primary hyperoxaluria type I. We demonstrate that a single consensus mutation (H80R) acts as a disease suppressor on the most common cancer-associated polymorphism in NQO1 (P187S). The H80R mutation reactivates P187S by enhancing FAD binding affinity through local and dynamic stabilization of its binding site. Furthermore, we show how a second suppressor mutation (E247Q) cooperates with H80R in protecting the P187S polymorphism towards inactivation through long-range allosteric communication within the structural ensemble of the protein. Our results support that recent divergence of consensus amino acids may have occurred with neutral effects on many functional and regulatory traits of wild-type human proteins. However, divergence at certain sites may have increased the propensity of some human proteins towards inactivation due to disease-associated mutations and polymorphisms. Consensus mutations also emerge as a potential strategy to identify structural hot-spots in proteins as targets for pharmacological rescue in loss-of-function genetic diseases.

Las redes sociales se han convertido en una plataforma idónea para dar a conocer y aumentar la visibilidad de una marca o empresa y también, para interactuar y analizar las acciones de los fans y seguidores de estas. Debido a ello, el presente estudio pretende averiguar las diferentes redes sociales que emplean los clubes de baloncesto de la Liga Endesa ACB, examinar el Engagement de Facebook y Twitter y, analizar si existe una correlación entre la posición en el ranking al fnal de la liga, número de victorias, años desde la fundación del club y aforo de espectadores a sus estadios, con el Engagement en Facebook y Twitter. Participaron la totalidad de clubes de la Liga Endesa ACB (18 clubes de baloncesto) de la temporada 2015-2016, utilizando la hoja de observación, y posterior análisis descriptivo y de regresión lineal múltiple. Los resultados indican el uso por parte de todos los clubes de Facebook y Twitter, y como tercera red social de YouTube. Los tres primeros equipos en el ranking mostraron los valores más elevados de Engagement en Facebook, y los dos primeros y el noveno en el Engagement en Twitter. Finalmente, el número de victorias resultó ser predictor del Engagement en Facebook y Twitter. Aunque el nú- mero de estudios referentes a las redes sociales se están incrementando, estos hallazgos muestran la necesidad de seguir analizando posibles variables predictoras del Engagement, para con ello, poder determinar variables que puedan repercutir en el compromiso y la relación de los fans y seguidores de los clubes de baloncesto. Because of this, the present study aims to fnd out the diferent social networks which are employed by the basketball clubs Endesa ACB League, and examine if the use of Facebook and Twitter, have a correlation, in terms of Engagement, with the position in the ranking at the end of the league, number of wins, years since the founding of the club and attendance of spectators in stadiums. All League clubs Endesa ACB (18 basketball clubs) of the 2015-2016 season were researched by using an observation sheet, and subsequent descriptive and multiple linear regression analysis. Te results indicate the use, by all the clubs, of Facebook and Twitter, and a third social network called YouTube. Te top three teams in the rankings showed the highest values of Engagement on Facebook, and the frst two and the ninth in the Engagement on Twitter. Lastly, the number of victories of a team seemed to be the predictor of Engagement on Facebook and Twitter. Although the number of studies on social networks are increasing, these fndings show the need to further analyze possible predicting factors of Engagement, to thereby be able to determine which variables may have an efect in the commitment and the relationship of fans and followers of basketball clubs. Resumo: As redes sociais tornaram-se uma plataforma idónea para sensibilizar e aumentar a visibilidade de uma marca, de uma empresa e também para interagir e analisar as ações dos fãs e seguidores. No seguimento, o presente estudo tem como objetivo investigar as diferentes redes sociais utilizadas pelos clubes de basquetebol da Liga Endesa ACB, analisando o envolvimento com Facebook e o Twitter e se existe uma correlação entre a posição no ranking no fnal do campeonato, número de vitórias, anos desde a fundação do clube e número de espetadores nos estádios, com o envolvimento no Facebook e no Twitter. Participaram no estudo todos os clubes da Liga Endesa ACB (18 clubes de basquetebol) na temporada 2015- 2016, utilizando-se para o estudo a fcha de observação, e posteriormente, a análise descritiva e a regressão linear múltipla. Os resultados indicam que todos os clubes usam o Facebook e Twitter e, como uma terceira rede social, o YouTube. As três melhores equipas do ranking apresentaram os maiores valores de envolvimento com o Facebook, e os dois primeiros e o nono do ranking um envolvimento com o Twitter. Finalmente, o número de vitórias provou ser um indicador de envolvimento com o Facebook e com o Twitter. Embora o número de estudos sobre as redes sociais tenha vindo a aumentar, estes resultados demostram a necessidade de uma análise mais aprofundada dos possíveis indicadores de envolvimento, para assim ser possível determinar variáveis que possam afetar o envolvimento e a relação de fãs e seguidores de clubes de basquetebol.

The present paper discusses a literature analysis to provide a comprehensive overview of the current status of research on the management and marketing of fitness centres. Four data bases were utilised: SCOPUS, ABI INFORM, ISOC and SPORTDISCUS. The following combination of search terms was employed: ‘fitness industry’ and ‘fitness centre’. These key words exposed about 87 articles that were published between 1980 and 2013. The articles were categorised chronologically and by publishing journal and content. The results revealed that the body of knowledge of fitness centres is heterogeneous. The thematic areas of the content of the articles are, in the order from the most number to the least number of publications: quality; satisfaction and loyalty; human resources; sociological aspects; organisational culture; segmentation; sport facilities; and innovation.Key words: Fitness industry; Literature analysis; Systematic revision; Thematic structuring.

Las miocardiopatías son una causa frecuente de morbimortalidad. Entre las miocardiopatías específicas se incluye la miocarditis, una entidad que con frecuencia se presenta con manifestaciones clínicas inespecíficas y puede resultar de difícil diagnóstico o incluso pasar desapercibida. El éxito de las técnicas tradicionalmente empleadas para el diagnóstico de miocarditis, incluyendo la biopsia endomiocárdica, es limitado. Tras su implantación en la práctica clínica, la resonancia magnética (RM) cardiaca se ha convertido en la mejor técnica diagnóstica no invasiva disponible para el diagnóstico de miocarditis aguda. Cardiomyopathies are a common cause of morbidity and mortality. Myocarditis, which is included among specific cardiomyopathies, frequently presents non-specific clinical manifestations and thus may be difficult to diagnose, or even be misdiagnosed. Traditionally employed diagnostic techniques, including endomyocardial biopsy, have been shown to be of limited value. Following its overall implantation in clinical practice, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is nowadays widely considered to be the best non-invasive diagnostic tool available for diagnosing myocarditis.
