Podcasting is an innovative, asynchronous communication tool. A pilot study was conducted to assess the utility of podcasting as an educational tool for undergraduate medical students. A paper-and-pencil questionnaire was developed and distributed to the 40 first-year students enrolled in the francophone stream of the medical curriculum at the University of Ottawa, Canada. A majority of participants endorsed the utility of the podcasting of a key-feature focused review of anatomy lecture material. The short length of the podcast, clarity of the content, and guidance with self-paced learning were among the positive aspects noted. The combination of the auditory podcasts and visual PowerPoint slides permitted the students to process information simultaneously using two different modalities. This maximized their use of working memory and facilitated learning. The investigators plan to continue their evaluation of this project by conducting a focus group study in the future. The influence of water deficits and drought on tree physiological processes, growth, and survival has been the focus of substantial research efforts and debate over the past decades, but there is still a need to quantitatively link finer scale mechanistic explanations of the influence of water status with the physiological responses of trees, particularly for those past the sapling stage. Hence, the objective of this study was to link accumulated water stress during the growing season to leaf physiological response mechanisms of Juglans nigra L. trees. Results showed that trees subjected to higher cumulative water stress had lower maximum light-saturated photosynthesis ([A.sub.max]), initiated net photosynthesis at higher light levels (Ic), and displayed reduced effectiveness of C[O.sub.2] fixation per photons absorbed ([Q.sub.e]) at the bottom and upper positions along the vertical canopy gradient. Results suggest that water stress integral ([S.sub.[psi]]), a variable that takes into account accumulated water deficits, would be useful to help future research efforts aimed at investigating responses to drought in trees past the sapling stage. Par consequent, l'objectif de cette etude consistait a relier le stress hydrique accumule durant la saison de croissance aux mecanismes de reaction physiologique des feuilles de Juglans nigra L. Les resultats montrent que les arbres soumis a un stress hydrique cumulatif plus eleve avaient un niveau maximum de photosynthese au point de saturation lumineuse ([A.sub.max]) inferieur, atteignaient la photosynthese nette a des niveaux de lumiere plus eleves (Ic) et montraient une efficacite de fixation du C[O.sub.2] par photon absorbe ([Q.sub.e]) reduite dans les positions inferieure et superieure le long d'un gradient vertical dans le couvert forestier. Les resultats indiquent que l'integrale du stress hydrique ([S.sub.[psi]]), une variable qui tient compte des deficits hydriques accumules, serait utile pour assister les futurs efforts de recherche visant a etudier les reactions a la secheresse chez les arbres qui ont franchi le stade de gaule. The current social situation in the face of climate change is approached through the treatment of Lola, an 18-year-old teenager. Echoing her emotions and her reactions to the undue exploitation that humans inflict on other humans and on nature, the issue of hatred of dependence is developed. With Winnicott's concept of the development of the capacity of concern and Freud's propositions on fetishism and culture, the treatment of ambivalence, in its individual and collective forms, is studied to illuminate what Lola calls the comfortably numb she observes in the society. A perverted relationship to nature emerges as omnipotence seeks to deny sexual reality and the inexhaustible source of ambivalence it constitutes. The RNA-binding protein [p54.sup.nrb] is involved in many nuclear processes including transcription, RNA processing, and retention of hyperedited RNAs. In interphase cells, [p54.sup.nrb] localizes to the nucleoplasm and concentrates with protein partners in the paraspeckles via an interaction with the non-coding RNA Neat1. During mitosis, [p54.sup.nrb] becomes multiphosphorylated and the effects of this modification are not known. In the present study, we show that [p54.sup.nrb] phosphorylation does not affect the interactions with its protein partners but rather diminishes its general RNA-binding ability. Biochemical assays indicate that in vitro phosphorylation of a GST-[p54.sup.nrb] construct by CDK1 abolishes the interaction with 5' splice site RNA sequence. Site-directed mutagenesis shows that the threonine 15 residue, located N-terminal to the RRM tandem domains of [p54.sup.nrb], is involved in this inhibition. In vivo analysis reveals that Neat1 ncRNA co-immunoprecipitates with [p54.sup.nrb] in either interphase or mitotic cells, suggesting that [p54.sup.nrb]-Neat1 interaction is not modulated by phosphorylation. Accordingly, in vitro phosphorylated GST-[p54.sup.nrb] still interacts with PIR-1 RNA, a G-rich Neat1 sequence known to interact with [p54.sup.nrb]. In vitro RNA binding assays show that CDK1-phosphorylation of a GST-[p54.sup.nrb] construct abolishes its interaction with homoribopolymers poly(A), poly(C), and poly(U) but not with poly(G). These data suggest that [p54.sup.nrb] interaction with RNA could be selectively modulated by phosphorylation during mitosis. Des analyses in vivo revelent que l'ARN non codant Neat1 est co-immunoprecipite avec [p54.sup.nrb] aussi bien dans les conditions interphasiques que mitotiques, suggerant que l'interaction entre [p54.sup.nrb] et Neat1 n'est pas affectee par la phosphorylation mitotique. De fait, GST-[p54.sup.nrb] phosphorylee in vitro se lie a l'ARN PIR-1, une sequence riche en G de Neat1 connue pour interagir avec [p54.sup.nrb]. The COVID-19 pandemic has been a narcissistic shock, revealing the dark side of the ego, and of the analytic setting. The transition to remote analysis has opened a laboratory that allows us to study not only the consequences of the new frame, but also the foundations of any analytic setting. With Bleger and Donnet, the issue of processes opens a perspective on the frame and how it acts on the work of symbolization.
