Using detailed data from the third round of the District Level Household Survey of India, this paper examines in detail the effect of child marriage of women on contraceptive usage and access to skilled care during pregnancy and delivery. This paper particularly focuses on sixteen different outcome variables categorized under four broad sub-groups; namely, family planning and contraceptive usage, birth history, utilization of antenatal care; and finally, natal and postnatal care. The overall results presented in the paper suggest that women who marry early, i.e. before they reach the legal age of marriage are more likely to have experienced miscarriage, give birth before they turn 18 and lose children. They also lack current contraception usage and are less likely to access public health facilities during both pregnancy and childbirth. Dynamic characteristics and reliability of elastomeric pads are dominant components in the design methodology to satisfy the performance parameters under dynamic operations. The fatigue life of rubber pads fitted with elastomeric pads mainly depends upon elastomers; natural rubber, chloroprene, nitrile butadiene, silicon compounds, etc., additives, accelerators, activators, fillers, anti-degradants, and manufacturing processes. The performance of the elastomeric pad is evaluated based on service operation, simulation, and laboratory testing. New and failed elastomeric (EM) pads have been examined in the Indian Rubber Manufacturer's Research Association IRMRA laboratory for detailed failure analysis of existing EM pads. Further, chemical and physical properties are also evaluated in M&C (Metallurgical and Chemical) and Testing Directorate of Research Designs and Standards Organization (RDSO), labs respectively. The fatigue life of the EM pad is estimated based on the results extracted from the Finite Element (FE) analysis of the EM pad. An attempt is made to modify the design of the EM pad by considering the results of detailed field trials, lab testing, and FE analysis. Background. There is a lack of health care facilities and poor oral health awareness among the rural adult population of Jharkhand which may significantly influence oral health status and lifestyle scores. Aim. To assess the oral hygiene status, lifestyle factors, and various risk factors associated with poor lifestyle scores in the rural adult population of Jharkhand. Materials and Methods. This cross-sectional study included 400 rural adults (35–44 years) populations. Face-to-face interviews were used to collect sociodemographic data and data on oral hygiene practices. Lifestyle factors were assessed using Health Practice Index (HPI). Oral health status was assessed using the oral health assessment proforma provided by the World Health Organization (WHO). Results. A significantly higher (p value < 0.0001) prevalence of tobacco consumption was reported by males (94.0%) compared to females (4.0%). The males (54.0%) reported significantly higher (p value < 0.0001) poor lifestyle scores compared to females (38.0%). A significantly higher (p value < 0.0001) number of oromucosal lesions (13.0%) was found in males compared to females (1.0%). There was a significant difference (p value < 0.0001) in the oral hygiene status between males and females with majority of males (60.0%) having poor oral hygiene. A bivariate analysis was performed, and unadjusted odds ratio was computed. The factors that became significant were then entered into logistic regression model (enter method). The results of logistic regression analysis showed that education (OR = 0.3, p value = 0.003), systemic diseases/long-term medication (OR = 2.9, p value = 0.004), tobacco consumption (OR = 2.9, p value = 0.006), oral hygiene status (OR = 2.4, p value = 0.007), and dental caries (OR = 2.9, p value = 0.004) were significant predictors of poor lifestyle scores. Conclusion. The rural adult population in Jharkhand has poor oral hygiene status and poor lifestyle scores. It is important to raise awareness regarding good oral hygiene and the negative effects of tobacco consumption. In today's digital entertainment environment, movie recommendation algorithms are essential for intensifying user ecstasy and content engagement. Online streaming services like Netflix can potentially increase revenue by implementing a recommendation system that offers tailored movie suggestions to users based on their past interactions with the platform. The strategies we'll discuss here are not simply limited to films; they may be used for any product for which you want to develop a Recommendation System (RS). This paper gives a preamble of several types of recommendation strategies based on user preferences, ratings, domain knowledge, users’ demographic data, user’s context. This work also envisions the singular value decomposition plus-plus (SVD++) and collaborative filtering-based movie recommendation method. The suggested method is compared to well-known machine learning methods such as k closest neighbour (K-NN), singular value decomposition (SVD), and co-clustering. The suggested method is experimentally tested using MovieLens 100 K datasets, and the error of the RS is assessed using Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). In order to address issues like scalability, data sparsity, and the cold start problem, our study is driven by the requirement to determine the most efficient method for offering individualized movie suggestions. This technique is used by numerous e-commerce companies, including Amazon, Flipkart, and Mantra, to understand their customers' purchasing patterns and provide recommendations to them about the goods they are most likely to purchase. The use of acoustic liners, based on double-degree-of-freedom Helmholtz resonators, for low-frequency-noise attenuation is limited by the volume of individual resonating cavities. This study investigates the effect of the septum neck length on the acoustic performance of double-degree-of-freedom resonators, both experimentally and numerically, for varying cavity volume ratios. The underlying sound attenuation mechanism is studied by analysing the acoustic pressure fields within the resonator cavities. An increase in the septum neck is shown to lower the frequencies affected by the resonator. In addition, it deteriorates and significantly improves the sound attenuation performance at the primary and secondary peak transmission-loss frequencies, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
