Las Pasantías constituyen una práctica profesional, que tiene como finalidad brindar al estudiante la oportunidad de aplicar en la práctica los conocimientos adquiridos en la Universidad, y son ofrecidas por Empresas, Institutos de Investigación y Universidades. Sin embargo, debido al creciente interés en las tecnologías informáticas y al constante incremento en la solicitud de las mismas, es importante hacer un aporte tecnológico en ellas, permitiendo de esta manera a los estudiantes de Ingeniería de Sistemas y carreras afines de la Universidad de Oriente del núcleo Monagas, realizar búsquedas inteligentes, con las cuales podrán por medio de su propio lenguaje encontrar la información adecuada sobre las pasantías ofrecidas, permitiendo gestionar un conocimiento en el área, el cual fue representado formalmente a través de una ontología utilizando el editor de ontologías Protégé OWL. Esta ontología describe el, dominio, clases y sub clases, propiedades, restricciones e instancias, que conformarán la Web Semántica. La metodología de desarrollo de la ontología fue METHONTOGOLY, para el desarrollo de la WS se uso el procedimiento expuesto por Fernández (2009) denominada “procedimiento semi-automático para transformar la web en web semántica”, usando SW2SWS como herramienta de soporte al desarrollo de la Web Semántica.

The advances in molecular biology and the emergence of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) have revealed that microbiome composition is closely related with health and disease, including cancer. This relationship affects different levels of cancer such as development, progression, and response to treatment including immunotherapy. The efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) may be influenced by the concomitant use of antibiotics before, during or shortly after treatment with ICIs. Nevertheless, the linking mechanism between microbiote, host immunity and cancer is not clear and the role of microbiota manipulation and analyses in cancer management has not been clinically validated yet. Regarding the use of microbiome as biomarker to predict ICI efficacy it has been recently shown that the use of biochemical serum markers to monitor intestinal permeability and loss of barrier integrity, like citrulline, could be useful to monitor microbiota changes and predict ICI efficacy. There are still many unknowns about the role of these components, their relationship with the microbiota, with the use of antibiotics and the response to immunotherapy. The next challenge in microbiome research will be to identify individual microbial species that causally affect lung cancer phenotypes and response to ICI and disentangle the underlying mechanisms. Thus, further analyses in patients with lung cancer receiving treatment with ICIs and its correlation with the composition of the microbiota in different organs including the respiratory tract, peripheral blood and intestinal tract could be useful to predict the efficacy of ICIs and its modulation with antibiotic use. 2 tables. Immune control inhibitor drugs (anti-PD1/PD-L1/CTLA-4) (ICIs) are showing efficacy in the treatment of lung cancer. Currently the only biomarker with clinical utility for ICIs, such as the expression of PDL1, does not appear to be perfect or effective. Our working group is conducting a pilot study in lung cancer patients receiving ICIs with the aim of analyze the factors that affect the sensitivity of the immunotherapy in lung Cancer. Tumor Mutational Burden (TMB) and the sequencing of the T Cell Receptor (TCR) repertoire in peripheral blood have been postulated as predictive biomarkers of efficacy of immunotherapy. The review focusses on the predictive value of TMB for clinical responses to ICIs and discusses its clinical need after a discussion of the limitations. TCR CDR3 beta analysis and parameters such as clonality and TCR convergence may be good alternatives. For the moment, the combination of biomarkers may be the optimal tool. Despite therapeutic advances, lung cancer (LC) is one of the leading causes of cancer morbidity and mortality worldwide. Recently, the treatment of advanced LC has experienced important changes in survival benefit due to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). However, overall response rates (ORR) remain low in unselected patients and a large proportion of patients undergo disease progression in the first weeks of treatment. Therefore, there is a need of biomarkers to identify patients who will benefit from ICIs. The programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression has been the first biomarker developed. However, its use as a robust predictive biomarker has been limited due to the variability of techniques used, with different antibodies and thresholds. In this context, tumor mutational burden (TMB) has emerged as an additional powerful biomarker based on the observation of successful response to ICIs in solid tumors with high TMB. TMB can be defined as the total number of nonsynonymous mutations per DNA megabases being a mechanism generating neoantigens conditioning the tumor immunogenicity and response to ICIs. However, the latest data provide conflicting results regarding its role as a biomarker. Moreover, considering the results of the recent data, the use of peripheral blood T cell receptor (TCR) repertoire could be a new predictive biomarker. This review summarises recent findings describing the clinical utility of TMB and TCRβ (TCRB) and concludes that immune, neontigen, and checkpoint targeted variables are required in combination for accurately identifying patients who most likely will benefit of ICIs.

The project we are presenting has been designed for the Teaching physical education in English using CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) methodology ICE group. The group is composed of a researcher and teachers of Physical education in CLIL that wanted to expand the resources in this area considering there are not enough. This group works together to create better materials for PE teachers that teach using the CLIL methodology. We've started from the very base after considering the needs of everyone in order to move forward with more quality materials. The effort and motivation all of them put in is reflected in this project. The first part of this project is about grammar structures, we've analyzed the different grammar structures for the six grades/levels of primary school, and we've created a guide so teachers can follow and get some ideas from it. Presented in this document is first the content related to every grade gathering parts like verbs, prepositions, adjectives and question words and it has been chosen from the teachers according to the curriculum they are teaching in their schools. Following this are examples related to this content that have been created by us in various meetings throughout the year. In the examples portion we've tried to apply physical education content so it could facilitate their use.

International audience; The production cross sections of neutron-rich fission residues in reactions induced by U238 projectiles at 950A MeV impinging on Pb and Be targets are investigated at the Fragment Separator at GSI. These two targets allow us to investigate fission processes induced by two reaction mechanisms, Coulomb and nuclear excitations, and to study the role of these mechanisms in the neutron excess of the final fragments.

Excavations at Can Sadurní Cave since 2012 have uncovered a complex stratigraphy for the Middle Neolithic phase (ca. 4700-4000 cal. BC). This was not in agreement with our expectations from the previous excavation of a trial trench, where only 4 layers (10, 10b,11 and 11b) were uncovered. After excavating a funerary layer with several in situ burials and further deposits containing multiple layers of burnt dung (fumier), the stratigraphy was revised and 5 episodes within layer 11 were detected. It became necessary to find a tool to refine the chronological sequence of these uses, under the premise that it is unlikely that the cave was used as a funerary area and a byre at the same time. Bayesian modelling allowed distinguishing these two phases, establishing an earlier use of the cave for animal herding purposes (ca. 4700-4450 cal. BC) and a funerary use of the cave in a more recent period (ca. 4400-4200 cal. BC).

We have studied the β decay of the Tz=−1, f7/2 shell nuclei Ni54, Fe50, Cr46, and Ti42 produced in fragmentation reactions. The proton separation energies in the daughter Tz=0 nuclei are relatively large (≈4–5 MeV) so studies of the γ rays are essential. The experiments were performed at GSI as part of the Stopped-beam campaign with the RISING setup consisting of 15 Euroball Cluster Ge detectors. From the newly obtained high precision β-decay half-lives, excitation energies, and β branching ratios, we were able to extract Fermi and Gamow-Teller transition strengths in these β decays. With these improved results it was possible to compare in detail the Gamow-Teller (GT) transition strengths observed in beta decay including a sensitivity limit with the strengths of the Tz=+1 to Tz=0 transitions derived from high resolution (3He,t) reactions on the mirror target nuclei at RCNP, Osaka. The accumulated B(GT) strength obtained from both experiments looks very similar although the charge exchange reaction provides information on a broader energy range. Using the “merged analysis” one can obtain a full picture of the B(GT) over the full Qβ range. Looking at the individual transitions some differences are observed, especially for the weak transitions. Their possible origins are discussed.
