Prognostic impact; Mutation; Acute myeloid leukemia Impacte pronòstic; Mutació; Leucèmia mieloide aguda Impacto pronóstico; Mutación; Leucemia mieloide aguda The negative prognostic impact of internal tandem duplication of FLT3 (FLT3-ITD) in patients with acute myeloid leukemia with mutated NPM1 (AML-NPM1) is restricted to those with a higher FLT3-ITD allelic ratio (FLT3high; ≥0.5) and considered negligible in those with a wild-type (FLT3WT)/low ITD ratio (FLT3low). Because the comutation of DNMT3A (DNMT3Amut) has been suggested to negatively influence prognosis in AML-NPM1, we analyzed the impact of DNMT3Amut in FLT3-ITD subsets (absent, low, and high ratios). A total of 164 patients diagnosed with AML-NPM1 included in 2 consecutive CETLAM protocols and with DNMT3A and FLT3 status available were studied. Overall, DNMT3Amut status did not have a prognostic impact, with comparable overall survival (P = .2). Prognostic stratification established by FLT3-ITD (FLT3WT = FLT3low > FLT3high) was independent of DNMT3Amut status. Measurable residual disease (MRD) based on NPM1 quantitative polymerase chain reaction was available for 94 patients. DNMT3Amut was associated with a higher number of mutated NPM1 transcripts after induction (P = .012) and first consolidation (C1; P < .001). All DNMT3Amut patients were MRD+ after C1 (P < .001) and exhibited significant MRD persistence after C2 and C3 (MRD+ vs MRD−; P = .027 and P = .001, respectively). Finally, DNMT3Amut patients exhibited a trend toward greater risk of molecular relapse (P = .054). In conclusion, DNMT3Amut did not modify the overall prognosis exerted by FLT3-ITD in AML-NPM1 despite delayed MRD clearance, possibly because of MRD-driven preemptive intervention. El document es centra en una adquisició experimental dinàmica fet sobre els tirants estructurals dels edificis de la ciutat de les comunicacions, la seu central a Madrid de Telefónica. Un campus format per 12 edificis d’oficines ubicats en un solar de 170000 m2 situat al costat de la M40. El campus va ser projectat per l’estudi d’arquitectura de Rafael de la Hoz, on destaquen les façanes de vidre i la part en voladís dels edificis d’oficines. La part en voladís és subjectada per un sistema de tirants, que va de la coberta fins al sostre de la planta baixa. L’accés a la part vista dels tirants només és possible des de la planta de coberta. La direcció facultativa de l’obra, volia establir un mètode de seguiment dels tirants que formen la part en voladís dels edificis, aquests són els edificis d’oficines Norte-2, Norte-3, Sur-2, Sur-3, Este-2, Este-3, Oeste-2 i Oeste-3, anomenats així segons la seva situació geogràfica en els punts cardinals. Aquest requeriment va quedar redactat en el llibre de l’edifici, on s’especifica que cada 5 anys l’estructura ha de ser revisada The paper focuses on a dynamic experimental acquisition made on the structural braces of buildings of the city of communications, the central headquarters in Madrid of Telefónica. En el seu discurs, en què fa una aproximació comparativa entre la grip espanyola del 1918-1919 i la COVID-19, aporta algunes lliçons després d'haver hagut d'afrontar, com la resta del personal sanitari, una pandèmia que ha afectat la població mundial.

Joan Fuster was one of the most prominent intellectuals of the Catalan Letters in the last century. His national thought and the construction of a Valencian identity which was an alternative to the existing one, was central during the sixties and seventies for the different Valencian political cultures. Furthermore, the national proposal for the «Catalan countries» which he theorized and deffended, obliged the political cultures in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands to modify their national approaches. The whole spectre of the opposition to Franco, from the left to the nationalism passing through the liberal right , were interpellated by Fuster's proposal. Nevertheless, with the transition, the events put away intellectuals and polical proposals such as the one Fuster propounded. The consolidation of democracy and the country's political state of autonomies eventually showed that national initiatives such as the ones Fuster conceived did not fit in the new regime. Joan Fuster va ser un dels intel·lectuals més importants de les lletres catalanes el segle passat. El seu pensament nacional i la construcció d’una identitat valenciana alternativa a l’existent, fou central durant la dècada dels seixanta i setanta per a les diferents cultures polítiques valencianes. Igualment, la proposta nacional dels «Països Catalans» que teoritzà i defensà, va obligar les cultures polítiques de Catalunya i les Illes a modificar els seus plantejaments nacionals. Tot l’espectre de l’antifranquisme, des de l’esquerra al nacionalisme passant per la dreta liberal, es veieren interpel·lats per la proposta fusteriana. Amb la transició, però, els esdeveniments anaren arraconant a intel·lectuals i propostes polítiques com la fusteriana. La consolidació de la democràcia i l’Estat de les autonomies acabà per mostrar que plantejaments nacionals com el fusteria no encaixaven en el nou règim.

Avui en dia les infraestructures estan totalment integrades en la societat, bé sigui en xarxes viàries com ponts o túnels, com en sistemes de subministració per exemple. En el cas que alguna d’elles pateixi algun mal, l’afectació que podrien patir els habitants pot esdevenir considerable, un trasbals important per a l’administració, comunitat, etc. Per això, tant rellevant és la construcció de noves estructures que milloren la vida de les persones, com el correcte manteniment de les ja presents. Així doncs, no sorprèn que en les últimes dècades la investigació de mètodes per al manteniment d’estructures hagi augmentat en gran mesura. Un mètode és la definició d’una estratègia per a identificar els possibles danys que ha patit una estructura, el que es coneix com a Monitorització de la Salut Estructural (SHM). Aquesta SHM consistia habitualment en inspeccions visuals realitzades per experts, no obstant s’ha millorat la precisió i l’efectivitat amb noves tecnologies com són els sensors de fibra òptica (OFS). Els OFS poden classificar-se mitjançant diversos criteris, però un criteri que s’ha assentat és el de la resolució. Els sensors distribuïts (DOFS) poden aconseguir altes resolucions espacials, o petites distàncies entre sensors, de fins a 1mm, de manera que els és possible identificar el comportament global de l’estructura així com detectar possibles afectacions com poden ser esquerdes o fissures. En aquest document es realitza una investigació on es detallen les característiques d’aquests sensors distribuïts de fibra òptica, es classifiquen depenent de l’objectiu de la monitorització i es faciliten exemples d’altres estudis en el camp de l’enginyeria civil. No obstant, la part principal d’aquest Treball Final de Màster consisteix en la determinació d’una metodologia que permeti l’obtenció de les deformacions d’una estructura a partir de les lectures d’un sistema de sensors distribuïts de fibra òptica. Es proporciona l’informe d’una prova de laboratori on s’analitzen els resultats i es comparen amb els d’un model teòric dissenyat per a aquest test, de manera que, amb conclusions positives es pugui assolir l’objectiu principal. Infrastructures are currently fully integrated in society, either in road networks such as bridges or tunnels or supply systems for example. In case any of them suffer any harm, the inhabitants affectation could be considerable, a significant disruption to the administration, community, etc. Therefore it is as important to build new structures that improve people’s lives as the proper maintenance of the already present. So it is not surprising that in recent decades the methods for the structure maintenance researching has greatly increased. One of these methods consists in defining a strategy to identify structural damage, which is known as Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). SHM used to consist in visual inspections performed by experts, however accuracy and efficiency have been improved by new technologies such as fiber optic sensors (OFS). OFS could be classified using different criteria, nevertheless the criteria that has settled is the resolution. Distributed sensors (DOFS) could reach high spatial resolutions, or small distances between sensors, up to 1mm, so it is possible to identify the structure overall behaviour as well as to detect possible effects such as cracks or fissures. This paper research details the characteristics of these distributed fiber optic sensors, the classification by the monitoring purpose and provides examples of other studies in the civil engineering field. However, the main part of this Master Final Project involves the determination of a methodology to obtain the structural strains using the monitoring sensing data. A report of a laboratory test results, that are analysed and compared with a theoretical model designed for this test, is provided.

Following an extensive archaeological excavation programme in the episcopal centre of Egara, the project continued with the graphic documentation of the Sant Miquel building and an analysis of its construction features. The application of photogrammetric documentation and laser scanning techniques has provided new elements for reflecting on a building that has been almost completely preserved and whose chronology leads us to question a series of stylistic apriorisms in the study of Hispanic Visigothic architecture. The building’s morphological characteristics also link it to the artistic and archaeological tendencies of the Byzantine Mediterranean.

There is, nowadays, a significant volume of historiographical work about Valencianism. However, this collection of books and articles is incomplete and contains important gaps regarding certain historical periods. So, while the past fifty years of history of the Valencianism movement have been studied closely—nearly since its origins—a bibliography of periods prior to the emergence of what is known as “Fusteriansism” (in reference to the writer Joan Fuster) contains considerable gaps. The historical trajectory of Valencianism has been outlined thanks to several literary genres: from biographies and autobiographies to the latest doctoral theses, including historical essays and sociological and political works. Ultimately, it is clear that a lot has been achieved since 1962 in consolidating our knowledge of Valencianism, but there is still much research left to be done Actualment comencem a tenir un important volum d’obres de caràcter historiogràfic sobre el valencianisme polític. Aquest conjunt de llibres i articles, però, és incomplet i ple de buits pel que fa a determinades etapes històriques. Així, mentre els darrers cinquanta anys d’història del moviment valencianista han estat bastant estudiats, gairebé des dels seus orígens, les etapes prèvies a la irrupció del que s’ha conegut com a «fusterianisme» presenten importants llacunes bibliogràfiques. Diversos són els gèneres que han servit per a traçar el recorregut històric del valencianisme polític. Trobem texts que van des de la biografia fins a l’autobiografia passant per l’assaig històric —junt amb treballs d’un marcat caràcter sociològic o polític— fins a arribar a les darreres tesis doctorals. En definitiva, podem afirmar que des de 1962 s’ha avançat molt en el coneixement del valencianisme polític, però encara queda molta recerca per desenvolupar

En aquest article presentem un resum de les principals contribucions i activitats científiques del I Col·loqui Internacional en Geohumanitats, celebrat a Barcelona l'octubre del 2016, organitzat per l'Associació de Geògrafs Espanyols, la Societat Catalana de Geografia i les universitats de Girona i Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona. A la primera part s'analitza el contingut del col·loqui i en la segona es fa un breu repàs dels articles que formen part d'aquest volum monogràfic de Treballs de la Societat Catalana de Geografia., In this article we present a summary of the main contributions and scientific activities of the First International Colloquium on Geohumanities held in Barcelona in October 2016, organized by the Association of Spanish Geographers, the Catalan Geographic Society and the Universities of Girona and Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona. In the first part we analyze the content of the colloquium and in the second part we present a brief review of the articles that are part of this monographic issue of Treballs of the SCG., En este artículo presentamos un resumen de las principales contribuciones y actividades científicas del I Coloquio Internacional en Geohumanidades celebrado en Barcelona en octubre del 2016, organizado por la Asociación de Geógrafos Españoles, la Societat Catalana de Geografia y las universidades de Girona y Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona. En la primera parte se analiza el contenido del coloquio y en la segunda se hace un breve repaso de los artículos que forman parte de este número monográfico de Treballs de la SCG.
