3. Neural Unification for Logic Reasoning over Natural Language

Automated Theorem Proving (ATP) deals with the development of computer programs being able to show that some conjectures (queries) are a logical consequence of a set of axioms (facts and rules). There exists several successful ATPs where conjectures and axioms are formally provided (e.g. formalised as First Order Logic formulas). Recent approaches, such as (Clark et al., 2020), have proposed transformer-based architectures for deriving conjectures given axioms expressed in natural language (English). The conjecture is verified through a binary text classifier, where the transformers model is trained to predict the truth value of a conjecture given the axioms. The RuleTaker approach of (Clark et al., 2020) achieves appealing results both in terms of accuracy and in the ability to generalize, showing that when the model is trained with deep enough queries (at least 3 inference steps), the transformers are able to correctly answer the majority of queries (97.6%) that require up to 5 inference steps. In this work we propose a new architecture, namely the Neural Unifier, and a relative training procedure, which achieves state-of-the-art results in term of generalisation, showing that mimicking a well-known inference procedure, the backward chaining, it is possible to answer deep queries even when the model is trained only on shallow ones. In the field of study of organizational management, performance measurement is of great relevance, since it measures the capacity of organizations to meet their objectives. In this way, company directors can analyze their management from different levels in relation to processes, objectives, resources, strategies and culture. However, sports organizations have different publics of interest, as well as various types of analysis according to their structure and organizational behavior, which generates disparity in the verification and control processes associated with performance measurement for the achievement of objectives. organizational goals. This is why it is necessary to generate knowledge in this area. This research aims to identify performance measurement variables applicable to sports organizations, which contributes to the strengthening of decision-making. The methodology used was a systematic literature review, followed by an analysis using the NVivo software. As a main result, the finding of seven main performance measurement variables applicable to sports organizations was found: creativity, innovation, productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, competitiveness and profitability., No campo da gestão organizacional, a medição do desempenho é de grande relevância, pois mede a capacidade das organizações de atingir seus objetivos. Desta forma, a administração da empresa pode analisar sua gestão em diferentes níveis em relação a processos, objetivos, recursos, estratégias e cultura. Entretanto, as organizações esportivas têm diferentes públicos de interesse e diferentes tipos de análise de acordo com sua estrutura e comportamento organizacional, o que gera disparidade nos processos de verificação e controle associados à medição de desempenho para a realização dos objetivos organizacionais. É por isso que é necessário gerar conhecimento nesta área. Esta pesquisa visa identificar variáveis de medição de desempenho aplicáveis às organizações esportivas que contribuem para fortalecer a tomada de decisões. A metodologia utilizada foi uma revisão sistemática da literatura, seguida por uma análise utilizando o software NVivo. O principal resultado foi a descoberta de sete variáveis principais de medição de desempenho aplicáveis às organizações esportivas: criatividade, inovação, produtividade, eficiência, eficácia, competitividade e lucratividade., En el campo de estudio de la gestión organizacional, la medición del desempeño es de gran relevancia, ya que mide la capacidad de las organizaciones para cumplir sus objetivos. De esta forma, las directivas de la empresa pueden analizar desde diferentes niveles su gestión en relación con los procesos, objetivos, recursos, estrategias y cultura. Sin embargo, las organizaciones deportivas cuentan con diferentes públicos de interés, así como diversos tipos de análisis de acuerdo con su estructura y comportamiento organizacional, lo cual genera disparidad en los procesos de verificación y control asociados a la medición del desempeño para el logro de los objetivos organizacionales. Es por esto por lo que se hace necesario generar conocimiento en esta área. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo identificar variables de medición del desempeño aplicables a las organizaciones deportivas, que contribuya al fortalecimiento de la toma de decisiones. La metodología utilizada fue una revisión sistemática de literatura, posteriormente un análisis a través del software NVivo. Como resultado principal, se encontró el hallazgo de siete principales variables de medición del desempeño aplicables a las organizaciones deportivas: la creatividad, la innovación, la productividad, la eficiencia, la eficacia, la competitividad y la rentabilidad.

Actualmente, es ampliamente utilizado en algunos países en el tratamiento de diferentes trastornos cognitivos y su uso está aprobado por algunas agencias como la Agencia Europea de Medicamentos. A pesar de que el Ginkgo parece tener efectos farmacológicos importantes (poder antioxidante, capacidad vasorreguladora, etc.), los datos sobre su eficacia son aún controvertidos. OBJETIVOS. Evaluar la utilidad terapéutica de Ginkgo en pacientes con deterioro cognitivo. MÉTODOS. Se llevó a cabo una revisión sistemática siguiendo las normas PRISMA de los ensayos clínicos publicados en PubMed. Un total de 13 estudios fueron incluidos en la revisión. RESULTADOS Y CONCLUSIONES. La mayor parte de los ensayos clínicos han demostrado que Ginkgo es una opción terapéutica de interés en pacientes con deterioro cognitivo. Sin embargo, conviene alargar el tiempo de estudio en los futuros ensayos clínicos con Ginkgo y así observar los cambios que ocurren a largo plazo. También se debería investigar si el uso combinado de Ginkgo con IAChE puede mejorar el pronóstico de la enfermedad en pacientes con demencia y si proporciona mayor seguridad de tratamiento. Por último, sería de interés recomendar el uso de Ginkgo en pacientes con deterioro cognitivo leve, puesto que carecen de otro tratamiento que pueda evitar su progresión a estadios más graves como la demencia.

- Abstract
Ascochyta blight, caused by Ascochyta fabae, poses a significant threat to faba bean and other legumes worldwide. Necrotic lesions on stems, leaves, and pods characterize the disease. Given the economic impact of this pathogen and the potential involvement of secondary metabolites in symptom development, a study was conducted to investigate the fungus's ability to produce bioactive metabolites that might contribute to its pathogenicity. For this investigation, the fungus was cultured in three substrates (Czapek-Dox, PDB, and rice). The produced metabolites were analyzed by NMR and LC-HRMS methods, resulting in the dereplication of seven metabolites, which varied with the cultural substrates. Ascochlorin, ascofuranol, and (R)-mevalonolactone were isolated from the Czapek-Dox extract; ascosalipyrone, benzoic acid, and tyrosol from the PDB extract; and ascosalitoxin and ascosalipyrone from the rice extract. The phytotoxicity of the pure metabolites was assessed at different concentrations on their primary hosts and related legumes. The fungal exudates displayed varying degrees of phytotoxicity, with the Czapek-Dox medium's exudate exhibiting the highest activity across almost all legumes tested. The species belonging to the genus Vicia spp. were the most susceptible, with faba bean being susceptible to all metabolites, at least at the highest concentration tested, as expected. In particular, ascosalitoxin and benzoic acid were the most phytotoxic in the tested condition and, as a consequence, expected to play an important role on necrosis's appearance.

La mayor parte de los ensayos clínicos han demostrado que Ginkgo es una opción terapéutica de interés en pacientes con deterioro cognitivo. Sin embargo, conviene alargar el tiempo de estudio en los futuros ensayos clínicos con Ginkgo y así observar los cambios que ocurren a largo plazo. También se debería investigar si el uso combinado de Ginkgo con IAChE puede mejorar el pronóstico de la enfermedad en pacientes con demencia y si proporciona mayor seguridad de tratamiento. Por último, sería de interés recomendar el uso de Ginkgo en pacientes con deterioro cognitivo leve, puesto que carecen de otro tratamiento que pueda evitar su progresión a estadios más graves como la demencia.

Curs: 2021/2022 Este trabajo describe una unidad didáctica de Lengua Castellana y Literatura cuyo principal objetivo es mejorar la competencia comunicativa de alumnos de 3.º de la ESO. La unidad se articula en torno a un proyecto de audiodescripción que permite a los alumnos trabajar simultáneamente el texto descriptivo escrito y el texto descriptivo oral. Se trata de un proyecto de mejora educativa que se ha implementado en el instituto IES Jaume I de Burriana durante el curso académico 2021-2022 y que toma como base la teoría constructivista del aprendizaje y metodologías activas como el Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos y el enfoque comunicativo con el objetivo de que los conocimientos adquiridos por los alumnos durante la implementación sean más significativos y fácilmente transferibles. This work describes a Spanish Language and Literature teaching unit whose main aim is improving third-year Compulsory Secondary Education students’ communicative competence. The unit is structured around an audio description project, which allows students to simultaneously dig into written and spoken descriptive text. It is an improved education project implemented at IES Jaume I secondary school in Burriana in the academic year 2021-2022. The project is based on the constructivist learning theory and active methodologies such as Project-Based Learning and the communicative approach so as to make knowledge acquired by students during the implementation more significant and easily transferable.

La propuesta de diseño de la agrupación de viviendas unifamiliares con patio en el municipio de Girón con enfoque evolutivo, nace del déficit y las problemáticas en las viviendas para las familias actuales. A partir de un proceso metodológico conformado por 3 fases, de identificación, análisis y desarrollo, se inicia por reconocer en los tipos de vivienda predominantes en el municipio de Girón las fortalezas y debilidades, a fin de reconocer la mejor tipología de vivienda a desarrollar según el contexto del municipio, dando como resultado la vivienda unifamiliar. De la misma manera, se realiza el estudio demográfico en el radio de influencia de la ubicación escogida como la mejor opción de desarrollo, con el fin de conocer los aspectos relevantes y necesidades específicas del usuario de la zona. Además, se estudiaron los diferentes tipos de familia que existen y sus conformaciones, a fin de identificar qué grupos familiares predominaban en el sector. Por la diversidad que arrojaron los resultados, se entiende que la conformación de la vivienda es variable según la conformación del tipo de familia, por consiguiente, se determinó que la vivienda debía atender a la variabilidad según los usuarios. Por estos motivos, se tomaron como enfoques de solución el patio y la vivienda evolutiva con crecimiento de tres opciones de crecimiento, dos de ellas horizontales y una vertical. En respuesta al marco de referencial, entendido como el marco teórico a partir de los conceptos de Le Corbusier con respecto al patio y Renzo piano con el crecimiento evolutivo, y los análisis tipológicos se plantea la propuesta de diseño arquitectónico La siguiente fase metodológica abarca el análisis del marco geográfico y normativo, que indica la mejor manera de implantación para la propuesta de diseño dentro del lote, en base al contexto inmediato, cualidades determinantes del predio, especificaciones, requisitos y restricciones. Por último, la fase de desarrollo del proyecto se dimensiona en 4 escalas, vivienda, palla, manzana y agrupación. El primero a nivel de la vivienda unifamiliar individual, en la que se ven las características de los enfoques de los referentes, la casa con patio evidenciada en la distribución espacial y el enfoque evolutivo presente en el crecimiento por etapas según la conformación familiar. Lo anterior da respuesta a la vivienda medianera y a sus variaciones de esquineras y accesibles. La segunda escala es la palla, en esta se evidencia como se aparean dos viviendas según los niveles del lote. La tercera escala es la manzana, la cual es la articulación de la vivienda individual para empezar a crear un tejido urbano. En esta fase se entiende cómo funciona la vivienda, el uso del patio como ente ordenador para un tejido compacto y como se presenta el crecimiento de las viviendas de la manzana cuando cada una se encuentra en una etapa distinta de evolución. La última escala es la agrupación, el conjunto de manzanas que forman a partir de una propuesta urbana un todo. Permitiendo que se articule la propuesta con el lenguaje del entorno inmediato. The design proposal for the grouping of single-family houses with courtyard in the municipality of Girón with an evolutionary approach, arises from the deficit and problems in housing for current families. From a methodological process consisting of 3 phases of identification, analysis and development, it begins by recognizing the strengths and weaknesses in the predominant types of housing in the municipality of Girón, in order to recognize the best type of housing to develop according to the context of the municipality, resulting in single-family housing. In the same way, a demographic study is carried out in the radius of influence of the location chosen as the best development option, in order to know the relevant aspects and specific needs of the user of the area. In addition, the different types of families that exist and their conformations were studied in order to identify which family groups predominated in the sector. Due to the diversity of the results, it is understood that the conformation of the housing is variable according to the conformation of the type of family, therefore, it was determined that the housing should attend to the variability according to the users. For these reasons, the courtyard and evolutionary housing with three growth options, two of them horizontal and one vertical, were taken as solution approaches. In response to the referential framework, understood as the theoretical framework based on the concepts of Le Corbusier with respect to the courtyard and Renzo Piano with the evolutionary growth, and the typological analysis, the architectural design proposal is proposed. The next methodological phase covers the analysis of the geographical and regulatory framework, which indicates the best way to implement the design proposal within the lot, based on the immediate context, determining qualities of the property, specifications, requirements and restrictions. Finally, the development phase of the project is sized in 4 scales, housing, lot, block and grouping. The first at the level of the individual single-family dwelling, in which the characteristics of the approaches of the referents are seen, the house with patio evidenced in the spatial distribution and the evolutionary approach present in the growth by stages according to the family conformation. The above gives an answer to the medianera housing and its variations of corner and accessible. The second scale is the palla, which shows how two dwellings are paired according to the lot levels. The third scale is the block, which is the articulation of individual housing to begin to create an urban fabric. In this phase it is understood how housing works, the use of the patio as an organizing entity for a compact fabric and how the growth of the houses in the block is presented when each one is in a different stage of evolution. The last scale is the grouping, the set of blocks that form from an urban proposal a whole. [Abstract] Physical fitness is one of the most important physical and mental health aspects for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This study aimed to test the effects of a long-term adapted judo program on the health-related physical fitness of children with ASD. The participants were recruited from various associations of families and schools for children with special needs. Twenty-one children were assigned to an experimental group and nineteen to a control group. The experimental group participated in a six-month adapted judo program consisting of 90 min of practice each week. Health-related physical fitness was measured using the indicators obtained from the ALPHA-fitness battery, the estimated VO2max and the waist/height ratio0.5. Changes within and between groups were analyzed using linear mixed models for repeated measures designs and test-retest reliability of tests requiring a maximum score using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC). A judo program tailored for children with ASD can improve the cardio-metabolic health and cardiorespiratory fitness of its participants. The problems involved with administering physical aptitude tests that involve maximum effort or performance in children with ASD cast serious doubts on the reproducibility of their results.

[Abstract] Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the long-term effects of an adapted judo program on the motor skills and psychosocial abilities of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Methods: All participants had been diagnosed with ASD and were assessed twice, one time at the start of the intervention and again 6 months later, with the Test of Gross Motor Development (TGMD-3) and the Gilliam Autism Rating Scale-Third Edition (GARS-3). A one-way repeated measures MANOVA was carried out in order to evaluate these assessments, and a mediation analysis was done to determine the relationship between them. Results: The experimental group significantly improved (p < 0.05) from the pre-test to the post-test for several subtests of the TGMD-3 and the GARS-3. Conclusion: The study shows that participation in an adapted judo program clearly helps to improve the motor skills and psychosocial behaviors of children with ASD.

The present study analyzed how a group of young Spanish-speaking English as a foreign language (EFL) learners in a content and language integrated learning (CLIL) science class responded to an instructional unit integrating attention to functional language and an inquiry-oriented approach to science. Working in cooperation with the researchers, a year 4 primary school teacher implemented a teaching sequence on levers with 48 9-10-year-olds over three weeks. The sequence, which was intended to raise the children’s awareness of the demands involved in understanding (content goals) and expressing as written reports (rhetorical goals) how levers work, scaffolded their activity from item-based writing to the production of full texts. On completing the unit, each child independently wrote a report on levers, all of which were analyzed from the perspective of cognitive discourse functions and ideational meaning. The results of these analyses are discussed in terms of their significance for CLIL writing with young learners.

- Abstract
The objective of this literature review is to identify the different sources for obtaining hydroxyapatite (HAP) from natural residues in order to use it as dental bone grafts. Hydroxyapatite can be classified according to its sources of origin as synthetic or biological; Among the sources of biological origins we can find of animal origin, aquatic origin, coral origin, egg shell origin and plant origin. The different types of synthesis available in the literature are described for obtaining hydroxyapatite from each natural source and its behavior as a bone filling material. The natural sources for obtaining hydroxyapatite from organic waste reduce the environmental impact (bio-waste) in addition to having multiple properties that are biocompatible with human bone tissue. El objetivo de esta revisión de literatura es identificar las diferentes fuentes de obtención de hidroxiapatita (HAP) a partir de residuos naturales con la finalidad de utilizarla como injertos óseos dentales. La hidroxiapatita se puede clasificar según sus fuentes de origen en sintética o biológica; entre las fuentes de orígenes biológicos podemos encontrar de origen animal, origen acuático, origen coralino, origen de cáscara de huevo y de origen vegetal. Se describen los diferentes tipos de síntesis disponibles en la literatura para la obtención de hidroxiapatita a partir de cada fuente natural y su comportamiento como material de relleno óseo. Las fuentes naturales para obtención de hidroxiapatita a partir de residuos orgánicos reducen el impacto ambiental (bio basura) además de tener múltiples propiedades biocompatibles con el tejido óseo humano.
