Objective To explore the feasibility of pediatric massage combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine application in the antipyretic treatment of children with exogenous fever. Methods Totally120 children with exogenous fever admitted to the hospital from July 2020 to June 2022 were included as study objects , and 60 of them were divided into control group based on the single-day and double-day admission sequencing method, and were treated with conventional western medicine antipyretic regimen; Another 60 cases were enrolled in the treatment group, and treated with massage combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine application. The curative effect, axillary temperature and antipyretic time between the two groups after systematic treatment were compared. Results The excellent and good rate of treatment in the treatment group (98. 33%) was higher than that in the control group (81. 67%), with a significant difference(P＜0. 01). The axillary temperature level of the treatment group at 6~12h, 24h, 36h and 48h after medication was lower than that of the control group, respectively(P＜0. 01). No adverse reaction was reported in the treatment group; There were 3 cased of headache and 7 cases of nausea/vomiting reported in the control group. The antipyretic onset time and complete antipyretic time in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group (P＜0. 01). Conclusion In the antipyretic treatment of children with exogenous fever, the combination of massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine application is safe and effective to further improve the antipyretic effect of children. Investigation of the protein corona of nanoscale metal–organic frameworks (NMOFs) is crucial for their safety assessment; however, it remains inadequately addressed. This study specifically focused on the impact of the bridging linker on the protein corona formation of NMOFs by utilizing nanoscale UiO66/UiO66-NH2 and human serum albumin (HSA) as models. Both UiO66 and UiO66-NH2 effectively quenched the endogenous fluorescence of HSA through a static quenching mechanism. Notably, UiO66 with higher hydrophobicity exhibited a stronger binding affinity (5.62 × 104 L·mol–1) with HSA than the UiO66-NH2–HSA system (2.51 × 104 L·mol–1) at 310 K. UiO66 also adsorbed a greater amount of HSA, induced conformational rearrangement in HSA to a greater extent, and finally led to a significant reduction in the protein surface hydrophobicity. Computer docking and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations further confirmed that HSA demonstrated a higher binding energy, lower total energy, and smaller solvent-accessible surface area when interacting with the bridging linker of UiO66. Moreover, although UiO66 displayed lower cytotoxicity toward 293T cells, UiO66-NH2 exhibited better blood compatibility as evidenced by the elevated values of activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT, 28–57 s) and prothrombin time (PT, 11.7–13.1 s). Fixed carbon source and different dopants are mainly used to study the effect of heteroatoms on the structure and properties of carbon dots (CDs). As reactants, some dopants with conjugated structure and high nitrogen content may have important contributions to the structure and properties of doped CDs in addition to providing heteroatoms. Herein, to study the effect of fixed dopant on the structure and properties of CDs, three different CDs were synthesized using nicotinamide (NAA) and three common α -hydroxy acids (4â€"5 carbon atoms), and the optimal conditions were determined by orthogonal experimentation. Transmission electron microscopic micrographs showed that the average size of CDs based on nicotinamide are relatively large, up to 19.40 nm. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy demonstrated that these CDs have graphite nitrogen and several functional group structures. Ultravioletâ€"visible absorption spectra, fluorescence emission spectra, and fluorescence lifetime illustrated that these CDs have similar emission centers (460â€"470 nm) and fluorescence processes. The influence of carbon source on the surface structure of CDs was determined by systematically analyzing the response of these CDs in different pH ranges. DFT calculations revealed the distribution characteristics of the electrons in the excited state at the HOMO and LUMO energy levels of CDs.
