Public libraries are community spaces dedicated to promoting equal opportunities and providing access to culture and knowledge. To fulfill this mission effectively and efficiently, this volume presents nine papers that offer guidelines for public library management. These papers not only review international standards and indicators (such as IFLA/Unesco and ISO), but also analyze the structure of the national library services system. Additionally, they provide guidelines in various areas, including user relationships, personnel organization, information resource arrangement, infrastructure planning, strategic plan design, and cooperation networks with governmental and non-governmental organizations. These nine compiled works present a concept that allows for the design of accessible and inclusive libraries, without any distinction among the population, in the face of today's challenges characterized by multiculturalism and digitization.
