V diplomski nalogi sem preučila področje knjige in poezije, predvsem področje neklasičnih knjig poezije. Poezija nam omogoča bolj osebi stik z besedilom in globljo povezavo tudi na čustveni ravni. Ker lahko vsak bralec besedilo interpretira po svoje, je diplomsko delo moja lastna interpretacija prebrane¬ga. Besedilo je avtorsko delo mojega očeta, kar je že od začetka predstavljajo večji izziv. Moj namen je bil ustvariti knjigo poezije, ki ne sledi klasičnim merilom oblikovanja oziroma naši predstavi, kakšen izgled mora knjiga imeti. Z barvami in postavitvijo besed sem želela poudariti občutke, ki jih besedilo izraža. Cilj je bil razgraditi posamezne pesmi na besede in jih nato ponovno sestaviti v drugačno celoto z isto vsebino. Projekta sem se najprej lotila z raziskavo področja. Z branjem in analizo posameznih pesmi sem določila osnovne parametre oblikovanja. Sledil je razvoj praktičnega dela diplomske nalo¬ge, kjer sem se, na podlagi predhodnih ugotovitev, ukvarjala predvsem z oblikovanjem. Ključnega pomena je bilo določiti osnovne parametre knjige, ki so omogočili lažje in natančno delo. Vzporedno z oblikovanjem posameznih strani je potekala še izdelava avtorskih ilustracij. Končni izdelek je fizična knjiga z naslovom Nekoga moram imeti. In my thesis I studied the field of books and poetry, especially the field of non-classical books of poetry. Poetry allows us to have more contact with the text and a deeper connection on an emotional level. Since each reader can interpret the text in their own way, the thesis is my own interpretation of what has been read. The text is my father’s copyrighted work, which was a bigger challenge from the start. My intention was to create a book of poetry that does not follow the classical criteria of design or our idea of what a book should look like. With the colors and the layout of the words, I wanted to emphasize the feelings that the text expresses. The goal was to break down individual songs into words and then reassemble them into a different whole with the same content. I first started the project with research in the field. By reading and analyzing individual poems, I determined the basic desi¬gn parameters. This was followed by the development of the practical part of the diploma thesis, where, based on previous findings, I was mainly engaged in design. It was crucial to determine the basic parameters of the book, which made it easier and more accurate to work. In parallel with the design of individual pages, the production of author's illustrations took place. The end product is a physical book titled I have to have someone.

Between 1978. and 2000. approximately 5 million infants were born thanks to Assisted reproductive technology (ART). ART pregnancies are considered as high-risk pregnancies because they are associated with an increased risk of preterm delivery, low birthweight, congenital anomalies, and other health issues when compared to spontaneously conceived children. However, there are just a few studies on the neurodevelopment as well as speech and language development of ART children. That is why the main aim of this study was to determine most frequent communication, speech and language disorders amongst ART children who came for diagnostic evaluation at The Centre for Rehabilitation of the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences (Zagreb) and Private Practice “Logopedski kabinet Blaži” between 2015. and 2017. The sample was made of 46 children (age 2 ; 06-8 ; 00), 40 male and 6 female. All the participants were conceived after ART procedures (singletons and twins) and they were firstborn in the family. Participants were divided into subgroups considering some risk factors (periventricular hemorrhage, prematurity, low birth weight, etc.) To examine the data we used Statistical Software SPSS. The results show that there is a statistically higher number of male participants who asked for diagnostic evaluation. Disorders form the communication domain such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), language delay with suspicion of ASD and Social Communication Disorder were most frequent. Follow the diagnosis as language disorders, speech-sound disorders, speech and language development delay with suspicion of Child Apraxia of Speech and stuttering. Other impairments are less frequent. Although the results of this research are indicative, we cannot bring any general conclusions about incidence of communication, speech and language disorders amongst ART children. Samples with larger sample sizes are needed to confirm these findings.

The aim of this paper is to compare the proportion of girls and boys, pupils of the Primary school of the SUVAG Polyclinic that are involved in complex rehabilitation, with general statistical data, i.e. number of pupils in the Republic of Croatia and number of children with speech-language disorders. It was observed whether there are any notable differences in gender distribution. General statistical data pertaining to the entire population of primary school students from the school year 2010/2011 to 2015/2016 were provided in the introductory section. Then, the data pertaining to children with developmental disabilities according to the Croatian Register of Persons with Disabilities with data from the SUVAG Polyclinic were compared. It is clear from the compared data that the ratio of boys and girls in complex rehabilitation of the school age children is larger than the one at the level of the Republic of Croatia. The trend is clear through 10-years period analyzed. Since Primary school of the SUVAG Polyclinic and the complex rehabilitation of speech and listening is attended by pupils with higher degree of speech-language disorders, the possible interpretation of the obtained results is that with degree of speech-language difficulty number of boys compared to number of girls increases. The results obtained can be used to create preventive programs and educations for educators, teachers and expert associates.

The aim of this paper was to investigate the relation between the type of hearing aids (HA) and the characteristics of their usage, and the HA satisfaction and the perceived HA benefit among 15 men and 15 women (average age 68.5 years, ± 17.6 years). The participants were new and experienced HA users (average time of HA use was 6.3 years, ± 4 years), with the better- ear-pure-tone-average of 59.5 dBHL (± 12.8 dBHL), who were using behind-the-ear HA (N = 11) or in-the-canal HA (N = 19). One HA was used by 17, and two HAs by 13 participants of the study. According to the participants’ assessment, the HAs were used from 5 to 12 hours per day (9 hours per day, ± 1.8 hours). The HA satisfaction and the perceived HA benefit was examined by using the second version of The Aural Rehabilitation Outcomes Profile self-assessment questionnaire (Šulja, Bonetti and Hrastinski, 2017), while the relation between the self-assessment, and the type of HA and the characteristics of their usage, was examined by a generalized linear model regression analysis. The results showed that the HA satisfaction and the perceived HA benefit were significantly influenced by the age, the degree of hearing impairment and their daily use. The interdependence of the type and the number of used HAs had a significant, but borderline influence on the self-assessment, so their individual contribution was examined by employing the Mann-Whitney U Test test. Unlike the number of HAs, the contribution of the HA type proved to be significant for the self- assessment. The overall duration of the HA use did not show any impact on self-assessment results, even at the bivariate level (analyzed by Spearman's correlation coefficient).

Results of many investigations emphasize that children’s ability to preserve data in working memory has direct impact on different aspects of children’s language development. Aforementioned difficulties are correlated with existence of deficit in working memory, i.e. difficulties in processing and preserving some sentence or part of it in child’s memory what later can cause difficulties in a language development and lead even to a specific language impairment. Repeating of long sentences can also be a tool for evaluating language progress in children with special language impairment because this task demands that children product not just repeat the sentence. The second hypothesis is that children have disorders of processing short and quickly presented auditory stimulations and remembering temporal sequence of information. The aim of this investigation was to determinate which of the following subsystems of working memory and language functions have the biggest correlation with electrophysiological measurements (perception and discrimination of auditory stimuli in children with speech and language difficulties by ERP). The experiment was performed twice in the interval of one year. The examinees were 12 children aged 7-9 years. Evaluation of progression was tested by repeating nonwords, sentences and assessing the phonological awareness. The measurements (ERP) were performed with 32-channel Neuroscan electroencephalographic system, using an electrode cap with a set of electrodes arranged according to the International 10-20 electrode positioning system. The stimuli were presented in an oddball paradigm, requiring a conscious reaction for the subjects. Latencies and amplitudes of P1, N1, P2, N2, and P3, waves were analyzed, as well as the reaction time and number of responses. The results are facilitating further research and clinical work, both in diagnostic and in therapeutic purposes. Key words: working memory, ERP, CAEP, children with specific language impairment
