Se aplica una metodología basada en análisis geoespaciales para estudiar los dispositivos defensivos de los castros, tomando el enclave de Baroña como caso de estudio. Los resultados nos llevan a apuntar que la morfología y localización del castro, junto a la poliorcética de su sistema defensivo, responden a la búsqueda por parte de sus habitantes de una percepción de seguridad. Esto se vincularía con una tradición constructiva heredada de un pasado conflictivo previo a la Edad del Hierro., [EN] The selection of specific locations for Iron Age hillforts in the North-west of the Iberian Peninsula, along their material constitution and their internal organisation are proposed to be determined by an apprehensive quality of space and not only by productive or defensive needs. We apply a methodology based on geospatial analysis to assess the defensive devices of hillforts, relying on the site of Baroña as our case study. The results lead us to suggest that the morphology and location of the site, together with the poliorcetica of its defensive system, respond to the inhabitants’ search for a perception of security. La depresión resistente al tratamiento (DRT) se define como la ausencia de mejoría de los síntomas de la depresión tras la administración de tratamiento antidepresivo adecuado en las dosis y con la duración recomendada. A lo largo de la historia se han ido empleando diferentes criterios para clasificar a los pacientes con DRT, algunos de estos criterios han sido el número de tratamientos empleados, el tipo de tratamientos empleados, el número de fracasos terapéuticos tanto a los fármacos antidepresivos como a las otras opciones terapéuticas, entre otros. En la actualidad, la prevalencia de la DRT es elevada, se estima que el 44% de los pacientes no responde a dos terapias antidepresivas o más y el 33% de los pacientes no responde a cuatro terapias antidepresivas o más. Así mismo, existen múltiples factores de riesgo para la DRT desde el punto de vista clínico, sociodemográfico, biológico y genético. En cuanto al abordaje terapéutico existen diferentes opciones (farmacoterapia y psicoterapia) y en caso de fracaso terapéutico también existen diferentes alternativas. Na actualidade, a prevalencia da DRT é elevada, estímase que o 44% dos pacientes non responde a dúas terapias antidepresivas ou máis e o 33% dos pacientes non responde a catro terapias antidepresivas ou máis. Así mesmo, existen múltiples factores de risco para a DRT dende o punto de vista clínico, sociodemográfico, biolóxico e xenético. En canto á abordaxe terapéutica existen diferentes opcións (farmacoterapia e psicoterapia) e no caso de fracaso terapéutico tamén existen diferentes alternativas. Treatment-resistant depression (TRD) is defined as the absence of improvement in the symptoms of depression following the administration of appropriate antidepressant treatment at the recommended doses and duration. Throughout history, different criteria have been used to classify patients with TRD, some of which have been the number of treatments used, the type of treatments employed, the number of therapeutic failures to both antidepressant drugs and other therapeutic options, among others. Currently, the prevalence of TRD is high, with an estimated 44% of patients not responding to two or more antidepressant therapies and 33% of patients not responding to four or more antidepressant therapies. There are also multiple risk factors for TRD from the clinical, sociodemographic, biological and genetic perspectives. As for the therapeutic approach there are different options (pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy) and in case of therapeutic failure there are also different alternatives.

The combination of flexibility, productivity, precision and zero-defect manufacturing in future laser-based equipment are a major challenge that faces this enabling technology. New sensors for online monitoring and real-time control of laserbased processes are necessary for improving products quality and increasing manufacture yields. New approaches to fully automate processes towards zero-defect manufacturing demand smarter heads where lasers, optics, actuators, sensors and electronics will be integrated in a unique compact and affordable device. Many defects arising in laser-based manufacturing processes come from instabilities in the dynamics of the laser process. Temperature and heat dynamics are key parameters to be monitored. Low cost infrared imagers with high-speed of response will constitute the next generation of sensors to be implemented in future monitoring and control systems for laser-based processes, capable to provide simultaneous information about heat dynamics and spatial distribution. This work describes the result of using an innovative low-cost high-speed infrared imager based on the first quantum infrared imager monolithically integrated with Si-CMOS ROIC of the market. The sensor is able to provide low resolution images at frame rates up to 10 KHz in uncooled operation at the same cost as traditional infrared spot detectors. In order to demonstrate the capabilities of the new sensor technology, a low-cost camera was assembled on a standard production laser welding head, allowing to register melting pool images at frame rates of 10 kHz. In addition, a specific software was developed for defect detection and classification. Multiple laser welding processes were recorded with the aim to study the performance of the system and its application to the real-time monitoring of laser welding processes. During the experiments, different types of defects were produced and monitored. The classifier was fed with the experimental images obtained. Self-learning strategies were implemented with very promising results, demonstrating the feasibility of using low-cost high-speed infrared imagers in advancing towards a real-time / in-line zero-defect production systems.

Gas detectors are nowadays widely spread for safety purposes in industrial facilities. They are categorized by the type of gas they detect: combustible and/or toxic. Whereas electrochemical sensors have limited lifetime and maintenance issues, infrared sensors are reliable and free of maintenance devices used for detecting a wide variety of VOCs and inflammable gases such as hydrocarbon vapors. They usually work via a system of transmitters (light sources) which power is interfered when a gas is present in the optical path. A spectral analysis of this optical interference allows the gas detection and identification. Optical flame detectors are sensors intended to sight and respond to the presence of a flame, faster than a smoke detector or a heat detector would do. Many of these systems operate in the infrared band in order to detect the heat radiation, most of the times by comparison of three specific wavelength bands. Most of the present infrared gas and optical flame detectors traditionally make use of MWIR single point sensors rather than imaging sensors; this is mainly due to the lack of affordable imaging sensing technologies in this band of the infrared spectrum. However, the appearance of uncooled imaging MWIR sensors made of VPD PbSe, with spectral detection range from 1 to 5 microns, opens the possibility to incorporate these sensors into gas and flame detection systems to allow area monitoring.

PurposeTo analyse the influence of three different types of organisational support (supervisor's and colleagues' support, training, and acknowledgement and rewards) on the implementation of teamwork systems.Design/methodology/approachMain and buffer effects of social support were tested using different subjective (job satisfaction and job involvement) and objective (production and total production management (TPM)) organisational criteria. In the longitudinal study, two sets of data were taken from a sample of workers from car‐manufacturing factories in two consecutive years.FindingsThe three dimensions of support explain 30 per cent of the variance in job satisfaction in time 1(T1) and 11 per cent in time 2 (T2). A total of 50 per cent of job involvement in T1 is due to the supervisor's and colleagues' support, whereas in T2 this influence is not apparent. Social support from supervisor's and colleagues and acknowledgment and rewards explain 10 per cent of the variance of the objective measures (production and TPM).Research limitations/implicationsThe objective measures used are similar for the production line as a whole and therefore they do not consider the possible differences in performance between different production line groups.Practical implicationsThe importance of social support in organisational settings, in particular in the implementation of working teams. It also emphasises the need to distinguish the different stages of support from colleagues, supervisors or the organisation.Originality/valueThis study indicates that support is an easy and inexpensive means not only to improve the social environment of an employee but also to make an important contribution towards productivity targets.

Cardiac manifestations in Lyme disease are uncommon and could generate myocarditis and/or pericarditis, but the most frequent and typical cardiac manifestation is in the form of conduction system disorders, causing blocks, which, according to their location and degree, could be intraventricular, intraatrial or atrioventricular of first, second or third degree. We report a case of transient atrioventricular block in a patient with frequent tick bites and with a positive serologic test for Borrelia burgdorferi.
