Establishing a differentiated green mine evaluation system for different types of mines is of significant practical importance. This study constructs a green mine evaluation system for the gold industry based on the analytic nierarchy process (AIP). The evaluation system sets the green mine evaluation index system for the gold industry as the target level, with 6 indicators as the criteria level such as mining area environment, resource development methods, and comprehensive resource utilization, 22 indicators as the index level such as functional zoning, mine landscape, and mining area greening. The AIP method was employed to determine the weight ranking of different indicators, identifying important criteria levels such as resource development methods, energy conservation and emission reduction, and comprehensive resource utilization. As for the index level, key indicators include associated mineral resource utilization, green development, energy conservation and consumption reduction, mining recovery rate, Deneficiation (metallurgy) recovery rate, and simultaneous mining and reclamation. As the second-largest city in Iran, Mashhad has a rich history in the gold industry. Mashhad's gold and jewellery innovation ecosystem (MGJIE) is now at a stage of decline, and renewal or sharp decline cycles lie ahead. This article explores these two scenarios and their implications for the innovation ecosystems of this industry. The first objective is to imagine the future of the MGJIE using a normative approach and formulate policies to realize an optimistic future. The second objective is to investigate the pessimistic scenario and its implications for the ecosystem. The normative scenarios are created for a 2032 horizon using the back casting method. With regard to the second objective, the exploratory approach is used for the 2047 horizon. In both objectives, 46 questionnaires and fifteen interviews are used. In the normative scenario, nine drivers are identified. In the exploratory approach, three scenarios are formulated, while in the last scenario, with the occurrence of four steps of the renewal plan, improving the performance of the ecosystem is guaranteed. Innovation is a by-product of scenario thinking. The combined application of innovation ecosystem and scenario planning in the jewellery industry has not previously been the focus of research in Iran or other countries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Cyanidation tailings were industrial hazardous solid waste generated in the process of gold mining industry that the global annual production could reach hundreds of millions of tons. Due to the cyanide gold extraction process, the cyanide content in the cyanidation tailings was seriously excessive, which was easy to cause serious casualties if not handled properly. Therefore, it is necessary to research the harmless disposal of cyanidation tailings in order to make is subsequent resource utilization. Based on the thermal treatment method, the process mineralogy of cyanidation tailings in Inner Mongota was investigated, the cyanidation tailings were qualitively analyzed by time of light secondary mass spectrometry (TOF-SIMS) wkh high accuracy. The approach of oxidative degradation of total cyanide and thiocyanate in cyanidation tailings simultaneously by roasting was developed. The results showed that, the total cyanide content was 778.20 mg/kg, the thiocyanate content was 1 229. 41 mg/kg. When the cyanidation tailings were roasted at 550 °C for 30 minutes, at 20= O2 concentration and 600 mL/min of total gas, the total cyanide content was 1.59 mg/kg, the thiocyanate content was below the detection limit, which means the removal rate of total cyanide after treatment achieved 99.80%, and the removal rate of thiocyanate achieved 99.99%. The gas product of cyanide tailings was analyzed. The oxidation reaction of pyrite, decomposition reaction of carbonates, and continuous oxidation decomposition reactions of total cyanide and thiocyanate were described. This process filled the gap of current simultaneous treatment technology of cyanide and thiocyanate in cyanidation tailings, and efficiently oxidize and decompose high content thiocyanate while removing complex cyanide with high stability, provided theoretical support for the deep detoxification treatment of cyanidation tailings.
