Berry fruits are a rich source of various nutrients, while their products also represent a nutritionally valuable source. Technological processes are developing in the direction of minimal processing techniques, avoiding intensive heat treatments and use of chemical additives. Use of non-invasive treatments such as ultrasounds shows a number of advantages, from increased bioactive compounds content to a significantly shortened time. The aim of study was to determine the effect of different processing methods (thermal and ultrasonic treatment) on the physicochemical properties, specialized metabolites and antioxidant activity of strawberry juice. The highest dry matter content and electrical conductivity was determined in thermal treated juices, while ultrasonic treatment positively affected on the total acids content and total soluble solids. Ultrasonic treated juices had even 51 % higher vitamin C content, 23 % higher total anthocyanin content and also significantly higher antioxidant capacity compared to the thermal treated samples.

4. Barley grain pre-drying using a low-energy laser beam

A laboratory laser beam method for drying barley grains is presented and the corresponding energy transfer is analyzed. Barley grains were illuminated from one side during a period of 60 seconds with 100 mW 650 nm and 200 mW 650 nm collimated laser beams. The intensity of laser radiation within the illuminated area was 12.74 Wsm-2 for a 100 mW laser and 25.48 Wsm-2 for a 200 mW laser. Barley grain samples with moisture contents of 18 %, 20 % and 25 % were used for analysis. The results obtained show differences in the energy consumption between grains with different initial moisture contents. Compared to convective hot air drying, the energy savings of 51 % were achieved using a 100 mW laser on the grain samples with a moisture content of 25% under laboratory conditions. Moreover, the energy savings were found to depend on the grain wet basis and decrease with the decreasing moisture content.

5. Application of modern pre-treatments in plum drying

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of abrasive pre-treatments on plum drying time compared to the conventional ones. The mechanical pre-treatment examined included the abrasion at three different cylinder rotation times: 5, 10 and 15 min. The chemical pre-treatment under consideration included the immersion of plums in alkaline solution (KOH) of different concentrations (0.5, 1 and 1.5% (v / v)) at 60 °C for one minute. The thermal treatment performed included the immersion of fruits in distilled water at 60 °C for one minute. As a control (untreated) sample, fruits with waxy lawyers were used. According to the results obtained, the drying time of plums was significantly reduced compared to the control sample (97 h): in the samples treated with distilled water (thermal treatment) drying time was reduced by 21 h, whereas the drying time reduction of up to 68 h was reorded using a KOH solution of 1.5%. In the samples pre-treated by abrasion for 15 min, the drying time recorded was also reduced by 68 h compared to the control samples, thus proving the exceptional efficiency of abrasive pre-treatment in plum drying.

Umjetna inteligencija (AI) i strojno učenje (ML ) sve su prisutniji u poljoprivrednom sektoru pa tako i u proizvodnji krmnih smjesa, gdje omogućuju proizvođačima optimizaciju procesa proizvodnje, smanjenje troškova i poboljšanje učinkovitosti. Implementacija nelinearnih modela, poput umjetnih neuronskih mreža (UNM ), u ovoj domeni omogućava prepoznavanje uzoraka i rješavanje kompleksnih problema povezanih s krmnim smjesama. Primjena UNM u tehnologiji proizvodnje krmnih smjesa, uz ispravno odabranu strukturu, algoritme učenja i prijenosne funkcije, omogućava naprednu optimizaciju procesa, uključujući upravljanje proizvodnim postrojenjem, skladištenje i transport sirovina. Ovi modeli pružaju nove mogućnosti za poboljšanje kvalitete krajnjeg proizvoda, uzimajući u obzir sve faktore koji na nju utječu. Kroz ovu prilagodbu, AI pruža alate za brzo i učinkovito donošenje odluka, što rezultira poboljšanom automatizacijom i učinkovitosti u proizvodnji krmnih smjesa., Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are increasingly present in agriculture, particularly in the production of feed mixtures, where they enable producers to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. The implementation of nonlinear models, such as artificial neural networks (UNM), in this field enables pattern recognition and the solution of complex problems related to feed mixtures. The application of UNM in the technology of feed mixture production, with a properly chosen structure, learning algorithms and transfer functions, allows advanced optimization of the process, including the management of the production plant, storage and transportation of materials. These models offer new opportunities to improve the quality of the final product, taking into account all the factors that influence it. Through this customization, AI provides tools for fast and efficient decision making, leading to improved automation and efficiency in compound feed production.

Umjetna inteligencija (AI) postala je sveprisutna u današnjem svijetu, od asistenata za komunikaciju do alata za modeliranje i predviđanje. Primjena modela strojnog i dubokog učenja u području poljoprivrede omogućuje proizvođačima da unaprijede učinkovitost proizvodnje, smanje troškove i optimiziraju procese dorada i proizvodnje. U tom smislu, algoritmi umjetne inteligencije i strojnog učenja, obrađujući prirodni jezik, zaključivanjem i planiranjem, mogu se koristiti kao nelinearni modeli za prepoznavanje uzoraka i rješavanje složenih problema. Ovi modeli omogućuju olakšanu automatizaciju procesa kao i sposobnost ubrzanog donošenja odluka. U poljoprivredi se mogu koristiti različiti nelinearni modeli za optimizaciju procesa proizvodnje koristeći tehnike učenja. S obzirom na to, primjenom umjetnih neuronskih mreža (UNM), odabirom ispravne strukture, algoritama učenja i prijenosnih funkcija, moguće je optimizirati procese u tehnologiji proizvodnje krmnih smjesa. Pri tome je potrebno uzeti u obzir proizvodno postrojenje, skladištenje i transport sirovina, kao i sve čimbenike koji utječu na krajnju kvalitetu proizvoda.

Increasing global competition, steady population growth on the one hand, and, paradoxically, labour shortages on the other, pose new challenges to agricultural producers. These are the main reasons for the growing interest in technological innovations and new approaches to agricultural production. Digital technologies are transforming agriculture due to their ubiquity, portability and mobility, and can therefore be used in a variety of ways to improve inefficiencies in the production, processing, storage and transportation of agricultural products. It is also important to mention that digitalization, and especially automation or robotization, requires high investments that ultimately represent a financial burden per unit of product. Therefore, it is important to find the optimal equipment level in terms of quantity, quality and price of the final product. Technologies such as sensors, communication networks, artificial intelligence, blockchain, high-performance computing, the Internet of Things, the 5G network, robotics, and advanced machines are already improving access to information, inputs, and markets, increasing production and productivity, streamlining supply chains, and reducing operating costs. Each of these technologies brings some value, from data collection to management and control. By using these technologies, it has become possible to get an overview of the entire company in just a few clicks, so that decisions are no longer made based solely on experience and tradition, but in real time based on analysed data. In addition to all the benefits offered by new technologies, there are also some challenges to overcome, such as: Cybersecurity and data protection, labour replacement and re-education, the risk of creating a digital divide between economies, sectors or individuals with differing abilities to adopt new technologies.

11. Utjecaj postupka prerade na sadržaj bioaktivnih spojeva u prahu maline

Cilj ovoga rada bio je utvrditi promjene sadržaja bioaktivnih komponenti tijekom proizvodnje suhog praha maline kao i utjecaj temperature sušenja na kvalitetu finalnog proizvoda. Plodovi malina s početnim udjelom vode od 87, 17 % osušeni su u laboratorijskom sušioniku „INKO” ST40 pri temperaturi od 40 °C i atmosferskom tlaku 1013 hPa do postizanja sadržaja vode od približno 15 %. Iz dobivenih rezultata vidljivo je da tijekom proizvodnje suhog praha u finalnom proizvodu došlo do smanjenja udjela vitamina C za 85, 59 %, ukupnih fenola za 32, 32 %, flavonoida za 40, 09 %, neflavonoida za 24, 61 %, antocijana za 2, 78 % i antioksidacijskog kapaciteta za 18, 98 %. Stoga se može zaključiti da parametri sušenja značajno utječu na sadržaj analiziranih bioaktivnih spojeva.

Rad daje uvid u ratnu promidžbu Njemačke i Velike Britanije tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata. Može se reći kako upravo ratna promidžba ima veliku ulogu u događanjima prije te tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata. Britanska vlada, koja je bila u velikoj mjeri nespremna za rat, morala je dosta brzo spremiti stanovništvo za rat te mobilizirati cijeli narod ponajprije kako bi mogli preživjeti, a zatim i pobijediti u ratu. S druge stane, Njemačka se temeljila na promidžbi nacionalsocijalističkog karaktera, koja je za cilj imala ostvarivanje njemačkog carstva koji bi na svome čelu imali upravo Nijemce kao rasu koja bi bila nadmoćna u odnosnu za druge. Može se reći kako su obje države za uvjeravanje stanovništva trebale upravo ratnu promidžbu, pri čemu se smatra kako je velika podrška domaćeg stanovništva nacističkom režimu posljedica stalne izloženosti agresivnoj nacističkoj promidžbi. The paper gives an insight into the war propaganda of Germany and Great Britain during the Second World War. It can be said that exactly war propaganda played a big role in the events before and during the Second World War. The British government, which was largely unprepared for war, had to quickly prepare the population for war and mobilize the entire nation first so that they could survive and then win the war. On the other hand, Germany was based on propaganda of a National Socialist character, propaganda aimed at the realization of the German Empire, which would have Germans at its head as a race that would be superior in relation to others. It can be said that both countries needed wartime propaganda to convince the population, and it is believed that the great support of the local population for the Nazi regime is the result of constant exposure to aggressive Nazi propaganda.

Cilj rada bio je analizirati i usporediti nutritivnu kvalitetu mutnih, svježe cijeđenih sokova iz plodova četiriju različitih sorti jabuka: 'Idared', 'Jonagold', 'Golden Delicious' i 'Cripps Pink'. S obzirom na analizirani mehanički sastav utvrđeno je da najbolje iskorištenje ploda za dobivanje soka ima sorta 'Idared' (45,51%), zatim slijedi sorta 'Golden Delicious (44,22%), 'Jonaglod' (36,56%) te sorta 'Cripps Pink' (25,75%). Prema rezultatima dobivenim u ovom istraživanju sok sorte 'Golden Delicious' pokazuje najveći omjer TST/UK, zatim sok sorte 'Jonagold', 'Idared', dok je najmanji omjer utvrđen kod soka sorte 'Cripps Pink'. Najveći sadržaj vitamina C (6,75 mg/100g svježeg ploda) kao i najveći sadržaj ukupnih fenola (55,84 mgGAE/100 g svježe tvari) utvrđeni su u soku sorte 'Jonagold' Temeljem dobivenih rezultata može se zaključiti da su plodovi svih istraživanih sorti pogodni za proizvodnju mutnog soka, ali i da mogu biti dobra podloga za proizvodnju ostalih sokova od raznih vrsta voća, The aim of the study was to analyse and compare the nutritional quality of cloudy, freshly squeezed fruit juices from four different apple cultivars: ‘Idared’, ‘Jonagold’, ‘Golden Delicious’ and ‘Cripps Pink’. Considering the analysed mechanical composition, it was determined that the best yield of fruit for juice production has the cultivar 'Idared' (45.51%), followed by the cultivar ‘Golden Delicious’ (44.22%), 'Jonaglod' (36.56%) and the 'Cripps Pink' cultivar (25.75%). According to the results obtained in this study, the juice of the 'Golden Delicious' cultivar shows the highest TST/UK r atio, followed b y t he j uice o f t he 'Jonagold' a nd 'Idared' cultivars, while the lowest ratio was found for the juice of the 'Cripps Pink' cultivar. The highest content of vitamin C was determined in the juice of the cultivar 'Jonagold' (6.75 mg/100 g of fresh fruit) as well as the highest content of total phenols (55.84 mg GAE/100 g of fresh matter). Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that the fruits of all investigated cultivars are suitable for the production of cloudy juice, but also that they can be a good base for the production of juices from various types of fruit.

Innovative agricultural practices are increasingly focused on conserving resources, reducing negative environmental impacts, and producing food with high nutritional quality and high content of health-promoting phytonutrients. Proper selection of cultivating factors, especially balanced nutrition, can significantly increase nutritional value and result in foods with significant biological and functional properties. The innovative techniques for cultivation of plant species, such as floating hydroponic systems, can also ensure a uniform chemical composition and high specialized metabolites (SM) content through nutrient solution management. Although it has been neglected in human diet, stinging nettle has a rich chemical composition (vitamins, minerals, pigments, phenols and other SM) and can be consumed as a green leafy vegetable. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of different corrections (B1, B2 and B3) of the nutrient solution (NS) during three harvest periods on the SM content and antioxidant capacity of nettle leaves. The B1 and B2 treatments were initially filled with NS prepared independently of the water’s chemical composition and B3 was filled with NS adjusted according to the chemical analysis of the water. After each harvest, the corrections of NS were made as follows: B1 was filled with water, B2 with NS, and B3 with nutrients according to the chemical analysis of NS. Of the nutritional and functional properties, total phenolics (TP), ascorbic acid (AsA), pigment content and antioxidant capacity were analyzed. The highest TP (377.04 mg GAE/100 g), total flavonoid (279.54 mg CTH/100 g), AsA (112.37 mg/100 g) and pigment content, as well as the highest antioxidant capacity (3546.91 µmol TE/L) were recorded in the third harvest, B2 treatment. The results show a significant positive influence of multiple harvesting and NS treatment on the SM content of nettle, confirming this type of hydroponic cultivation as an innovative technique for the production of novel food with high nutritional value.

18. Primjena niskoenergetskih lasera kao neinvazivnog predtretmana pri sušenju grožđa

Cilj rada je bio utvrditi mogućnost primjene lasera kao predtretmana sušenju grožđa. Bobice grožđa tretirane su 100 i 200 mW laserima u trajanju od 60 i 120 s. Za analizu je korišteno svježe ubrano grožđe sorti Traminac i Muškat Hamburg s početnim udjelima vlage od 81, 45% i 77, 25%. Kod obe analizirane sorte dobivene krivulje sušenja se razlikuju ali su sve negativnog predznaka, što ukazuje na padajuću funkciju, a potvrđuje da se radi o procesu sušenja. Kod sorte Traminac primijećen je značajniji gubitak vode tijekom laserskog tretmana nego kod sorte Muškat Hamburg što se može pripisati razlikama u građi bobica među odabranim sortama. Iz rezultata je vidljivo da lasersko zračenje utječe na migraciju vode iz unutrašnjosti na površinu, te se kao takvo može koristiti kao učinkovit predtretman sušenju grožđa koji ujedno ne oštećuju biljni materijal.

U ovom radu analizira se adekvatnost postojećeg pravnog okvira u području kulture odnosno uređenja statusa, upravljanja i financiranja javnih ustanova u kulturi, posebice onih koje nisu regulirane posebnim zakonima. Namjera je bila u ovom radu ukazati na moguće nedostatke u postojećoj regulativi i samoregulativi, te predložiti potencijalna unaprjeđenja pravne regulative, sve u cilju uspostavljanja modernog normativnog okvira za poboljšanje uvjeta upravljanja i financiranja javnih ustanova u kulturi u Republici Hrvatskoj. Posebno se ukazuje na poziciju i ovlasti kulturnih vijeća kao tijela koja imaju važnu ulogu o odlučivanju o dodjeli financijskih proračunskih sredstava kulturnim projektima, kao primjer suvremene kulturne politike. Međutim, u njihovu radu postoji mogućnost nastanka sukoba interesa s obzirom na disproporciju njihova statusa u kulturnom području, te je nužno stvoriti odgovarajuća legislativna rješenja koja će otkloniti mogućnost zloupotreba pozicija odnosno interesnog subjektivnog postupanja kod raspolaganja javnim sredstvima za javne potrebe u kulturi. Osnivanjem kulturnih vijeća, kulturna politika Republike Hrvatske prati načela suvremene kulturne politike pri čemu se odlučivanje i suodlučivanje o pitanjima o kulturi decentralizira i usmjerava na razine jedinica lokalne i regionalne uprave: županije, gradove ili općine, uz uvođenje različitih modaliteta sudioničkog upravljanja, uključujući osnivanje kulturnih vijeća. U ovom radu ukazujemo na određene zakonske manjkavosti i u tom smislu potrebu daljnjeg noveliranja propisa, te navodimo rješenja koja se nadovezuju na zakonske odredbe, a trebaju biti sadržana u aktima o osnivanju, statutima i drugim općim aktima samih ustanova u kulturi., This paper analyzes the adequacy of the existing legal framework in the field of culture, i.e. the regulation of the status, management, and financing of public cultural institutions, especially those that are not regulated by special laws. The intention of this paper was to point out possible shortcomings in the existing regulation and self-regulation and to propose potential improvements to the legal regulation, all with the aim of establishing a modern normative framework for improving the conditions of management and financing of public cultural institutions in the Republic of Croatia. The position and powers of cultural councils as bodies that have an important role in deciding on the allocation of financial budget resources to cultural projects, as an example of contemporary cultural policy, are particularly pointed out. However, in their work, there is a possibility of a conflict of interest due to the disproportion of their status in the cultural field, and it is necessary to create appropriate legislative solutions that will eliminate the possibility of abuse of positions, i.e. interest-based subjective treatment when disposing of public funds for public needs in culture. By establishing cultural councils, the cultural policy of the Republic of Croatia follows the principles of contemporary cultural policy, whereby decision-making and co-decision-making on cultural issues are decentralized and directed to the levels of local and regional administration units: counties, cities, or municipalities, with the introduction of various modalities of participatory management, including the establishment of cultural Council. In this paper, we point out certain legal deficiencies and, in this sense, the need for further amendments to the regulations, and we list solutions that follow from the legal provisions and should be contained in the founding acts, statutes and other general documents of the cultural institutions themselves.

Tvornice i mješaonice krmnih smjesa već su dugi niz godina zanimljiv objekt za primjenu dostignuća visoke tehnologije u području automatizacije i informacijskih tehnologija (IT). Ta činjenica proizlazi iz same prirode poslovno-tehnološkog procesa takvih proizvodnih sustava. Gospodarska opravdanost ulaganja u tehničku opremljenost sustava očituje se u povećanju proizvodnosti, kakvoće proizvoda, efikasnosti, bržoj reakciji na zahtjeve tržišta, optimalnoj potrošnji energije i sirovina, podizanju tehnološke i poslovne discipline, brzom i potpunom pregledu i nadzoru poslovanja. Da bi regulacija i vođenje procesa bilo potpuno, vrlo je važno u taj sustav uključiti osjetnike (senzore). Oni pružaju pravodobne i točne podatke u stvarnom vremenu, prikupljaju ih i prikazuju, te tako osiguravaju trenutnu operativnu korist u postupku proizvodnje krmnih smjesa. Osim do sada već ugrađenih osjetnika (senzora), u tzv. online i offline sustavu nastoji se proširiti uporaba novih inovativnih tehnologija osjetnika. Najvažniji predstavnik te tehnologije je IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things). Da bi sustav bio u cijelosti iskoristiv, potrebno je koristiti tehniku i tehnologiju povezivanja i uključivanja osjetnika u širi objedinjeni programsko- upravljački sustav. Tehnologija automatskog povezivanja obuhvaća tri grupe višesmjernih komunikacija i aktivnosti. Prva čini liniju proizvođača kroz komunikaciju sa skladištem ili proizvodnjom. Potom se ona povezuje s dobavljačem ili prijevoznikom putem narudžbi, isporuka i transporta. Kupac tj. potrošač čini treću komunikacijsku grupu kroz količinu potrošenog krmiva. U toj grupi komunikacija može obuhvaćati informacije iz prifarmskog silosa ili hranilice. Sljedeća napredna tehnologija obuhvaća uporabu 3D skenera za analizu količine materijala u skladištima i silosima. Primjena tako složenih tehnologija zahtijeva i kontinuirano praćenje rada svih ugrađenih osjetnika u sustavu.

Pogoni za preradu i doradu poljoprivredno prehrambenih proizvoda već su dugi niz godina zanimljiv poligon za primjenu novih pristupa i tehnoloških inovacija iz područja automatizacije i informacijskih tehnologija (IT). Ta činjenica proizlazi iz same prirode poslovno-tehnološkog procesa takvih proizvodnih sustava. Digitalizacija, automatizacija i robotizacija predstavljaju novu paradigmu proizvodnje i prerade poljoprivredno prehrambenih proizvoda. Zbog složenosti i specifičnosti navedenih procesa uvođenje novih tehnologija je kompleksno te zahtijeva temeljit i sustavan pristup od samog početka, odnosno od odabira strojeva, alata i opreme, prikupljanja i obrade podataka, transporta, skladištenja pa sve do isporuke potrošaču. Bez podataka o kvalitativnom i kvantitativnom stanju proizvoda (sirovina), podataka o preradi, skladištenju i transportu nema dobrog, kvalitativnog krajnjeg proizvoda. Tehnologije poput senzora, komunikacijskih mreža, umjetne inteligencije, blockchaina, Interneta stvari, 5G mreže, robotike i naprednih strojeva već poboljšavaju pristup informacijama i tržištima, povećavaju proizvodnju i produktivnost, usmjeravaju opskrbne lance i smanjuju operativne troškove. Korištenje ovih tehnologija omogućilo je da se u samo nekoliko klikova dobije pregled cjelokupnog poslovanja, tako da se odluke više ne donose isključivo na temelju iskustva i tradicije, već u stvarnom vremenu na temelju analiziranih podataka. Tako uz korištenje suvremenih tehnologija poljoprivrednici imaju priliku modernizirati cijeli niz poslovnih procesa. Stoga je jedan od ključnih ciljeva poljoprivredne politike povećani fokus na promicanje znanja, inovativnosti i usvajanja novih tehnologija i pristupa među svim dionicima u proizvodnji i preradi poljoprivredno prehrambenih proizvoda. Također je važno spomenuti da digitalizacija, a posebno automatizacija ili robotizacija zahtijevaju visoka ulaganja, što u konačnici predstavlja financijski teret po jedinici proizvoda. Stoga je važno pronaći optimalnu razinu opremljenosti automatiziranim i/ili robotiziranim sustavima, u smislu količine, kvalitete i cijene konačnog proizvoda. Sveukupno gledajući, tehnološke inovacije i novi pristupi mogu modernizirati poljoprivredni sektor, potaknuti poduzetničke inovacije i stvoriti nove poslovne prilike. Digital technologies, due to their ubiquity, portability and mobility, are transforming agriculture and can therefore be used in a variety of ways to improve inefficiencies in production, processing, storage and transport of agricultural products. Due to the complexity and specificity of processing agricultural products, the introduction of new technologies is a very demanding process and requires a thorough and systematic approach from the very beginning, i.e. from the selection of machinery, tools and equipment, data collection and processing, transport, storage (warehousing) to delivery to the consumer. Digitalization, automation and robotization represent a new paradigm of production as well as processing of agricultural and food products. Without data on the condition (qualitative and quantitative) of the products (raw materials), data on processing, storage and transportation, there is no good, qualitative end product. It is also important to mention that digitalization and especially automation or robotization requires high investment, which ultimately represents a financial burden per unit of product. Therefore, it is important to find the optimal level of equipment with automated and/or robotized systems, in terms of quantity, quality and price of the final product. Technologies such as sensors, communication networks, artificial intelligence, blockchain, the Internet of Things, the 5G network, robotics, and advanced machines are already improving access to information, inputs, and markets, increasing production and productivity, streamlining supply chains, and reducing operating costs. The use of these technologies has made it possible to obtain an overview of the entire business with just a few clicks, so that decisions are no longer made solely on the basis of experience and tradition, but in real time on the basis of analysed data. Thus, in addition to using modern production technologies, farmers have the opportunity to modernize a whole range of business processes (sales management, employees, finance, advertising, etc.). The resistance to change and to adoption of new technologies in agriculture could be due to the knowledge gap for the needs of agriculture by the providers of new technologies. Therefore, one of the key objectives of agricultural policy is an increased focus on promoting knowledge, innovation and adoption of new technologies and approaches among all stakeholders in food production and processing. In general, these new technologies can and will modernize the agricultural sector, encourage entrepreneurial innovation and create new business opportunities.

Weed control is one of the most important factors in all agricultural plant productions, but especially in arable production due to the large areas where it takes place. Weeds are unwanted plants that occur in places where arable crops are grown, depriving them of moisture, nutrients and sunlight and can have a significant negative impact on crop yields. After the discovery of highly effective herbicides, weed control in agriculture has been carried out for years almost exclusively by chemical methods, but the intensive use of herbicides has resulted in world wide problem of environmental pollution. Recognizing the negative effects of chemical methods on the environment and human health, scientists and inventors are trying to find and adopt alternative weed control methods that require minimal amounts of herbicides or are completely feasible without their application. Rapid advances in electronics, computers and computer technologies and the development of vehicle guidance systems together with the introduction of precision agriculture have opened the possibility of using robotic systems in weed control. Many robotic weed control systems have been developed with different weed control methods such as selective chemical spraying, mechanical weed removal, using flame, steam and electric discharge, but none of these robotic systems entered wider application nor into regular production. The goal of our project is to develop a robotic weed control system that will be efficient, cost effective and widely applicable in arable crop production. The work of this robotic system is planned in fleets with the use of several smaller robots with navigation control units and dimensions that will allow movement in the inter row crop area and taking into account the soil configuration and potential obstacles. For weed detection will be using cameras and image recognition software which compares the contours of each individual plant and those that are recognized as weeds will be destroyed by a laser beam. The laser beam that eliminates weeds would be aimed directly at the growth centre of the plant that is not the desired crop and the intensity of the laser beam will be precisely determined with regard to the type and height of the weeds.

29. Automation and digitalization in the processing of agricultural products

In the processing of agricultural products and with the aim of increasing the added value of the products, there is a growing interest in the automation and robotization of processes and equipment. Increasing global competition, steady population growth on one side and paradoxically labor shortage on the other side pose a new challenge for agricultural producers. These are the main reasons for the increasing interest in automation and even robotization of processes. Moreover, outdated equipment for processing and handling agricultural products does not meet today's very demanding and high safety standards, making robotics and automation an ideal solution. The survey on the use of machinery in processing, packaging and transport of agricultural products conducted among agricultural farmers in the Republic of Croatia showed that machinery and equipment are used most for transport (71.3%), followed by processing (26.7%) and least for packaging (16.8%). As for the use of computers and digital technologies, 67.3% of respondents confirmed that they use them for administrative work, sales and record keeping. Only 15.8% of the respondents use computers and digital technologies to improve production, finishing and processing processes and production control. Due to the complexity and specificity of agricultural products processing, the introduction of automation and/or robotization is a very demanding process and requires a thorough and systematic approach from the very beginning, i.e. from selection of machinery, tools and equipment, data collection and processing, transportation, storage (warehousing) to delivery to the consumer. Automation is a continuation of the process of mechanization, for only a process that is sufficiently mechanized can be automated. Automation in the broader sense includes all actions and processes that reduce the amount of human labor, perception, and decision making. Automation, robotization and digitalization represents a new paradigm of production as well as finalization of agricultural products. The inclusion (implementation) of legal requirements in the production and processing of agricultural products, as well as in packaging and storage, should also be considered.

30. Učinak ultrazvučnog tretmana na sadržaj ß- karotena u soku klementine

Razvojem prehrambene tehnologije sve više se počinju implementirati moderni postupci i tretmani procesiranja proizvoda. Naime, moderne tehnike, poput ultrazvučno potpomognutog tretmana pripadaju u neinvazivne metode, čija se glavna prednost očituje u skraćivanju trajanja procesa i očuvanju nutritivne kvalitete gotovog proizvoda. Stoga je cilj ovog rada bio utvrditi utjecaj ultrazvučnog tretmana, kao i različitog vremenskog perioda obrade ultrazvukom na sadržaj β-karotena u soku klementine. Ultrazvučni tretman značajno je pozitivno utjecao na sadržaj β-karotena prilikom čega je čak 81 % veći sadržaj utvrđen u ultrazvučno tretiranim uzorcima sokova klementine u usporedbi s kontrolnim uzorkom. Od istraživanih vremenskih perioda obrade, ultrazvučnim tretmanom od 15 minuta dobivene su najveće vrijednosti β-karotena.

Today, more than 820 million people worldwide suffer from hunger, malnutrition or lack regular access to safe, nutritious, and sufficient food. The problem of food insecurity is becoming increasingly evident. The main factors behind the growing number of hungry people inchlde conflict, climate change and economic downturns. Although an increasing proportion of the world's population suffers from some form of food insecurity, global trends also show a steady increase in the prevalence of overweight and obesity, with school children and adults being particularly affected. Eating habits and a healthy diet play an important role in a healthy lifestyle. The lack of healthy food affects those living in the least developed parts of the world as well as those living in seemingly more affluent countries. The relationship between food and the environment is important and it is necessary to choose a diet that both contributes to human health and respects our planet. The basic structure of the food supply chain involves several stages, all of which require the implementation of sustainable practices, from organic farming to the use of biodegradable packaging materials, the selection of appropriate means of transport, the energy- efficient preparation of food, and the choice of appropriate waste management based on the concept of "zero-kilometer" food. The concept of "zero- kilometer food" was born from a simple postulate: a zero-kilometer product = a product with a low environmental impact. The consumption of zero- kilometer food can also be associated with the economic aspect, mainly because it supports the development of local agriculture.

32. Kemijski sastav ploda sorti slatke naranče (Citrus sinensis L.)

Cilj rada bio je utvrditi nutritivni sastav i sadržaj bioaktivnih spojeva triju sorti slatke naranče: 'Skaggs Bonanza Navel', 'Parent Navel' i 'Tarocco'. Analizom nutritivnog sastava utvrđene su značajne statističke razlike u svim istraživanim svojstvima. Sorta 'Skaggs Bonanza Navel' istaknula se nutritivnim sastavom te su kod nje određene najveće vrijednosti suhe tvari (13, 32 %), topljive suhe tvari (11, 80 %), ukupnih fenola (187, 55 mg GAE/100 g sv.t.), flavonoida (107, 14 mg CTH/100 g sv.t.), neflavonoida (80, 29 mg GAE/100 g sv.t.) te antioksidacijskog kapaciteta (1, 63 mmol TE/L). Temeljem dobivenih rezultata može se zaključiti kako na kvalitetu plodova, osim pedoklimatskih čimbenika, stupnja zrelosti te agrotehničkih i pomotehničkih mjera značajno utječu i genetske karakteristike.

Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi osnovne fizikalno-kemijske parametre i biološki potencijal svježih plodova kivija sorte ‘Hayward’ s različitih lokacija (Sisk, Galdovo, Čapljina, otok Murter i Rovinj). Analizom uzoraka utvrđene su značajne razlike u sadržaju bioaktivnih spojeva plodova ubranih na pet navedenih lokacija. U uzorcima uzgojenim na otoku Murteru utvrđen je značajno veći sadržaj vitamina C (103, 14 mg/100 g svježe tvari) u odnosu na plodove s ostalih istraživanih lokacija. S obzirom na dobivene rezultate može se zaključiti da je plod kivija bogat izvor različitih bioaktivnih spojeva značajnog antioksidacijskog djelovanja. Kvaliteta samog ploda kivija značajno ovisi o lokaciji uzgoja.

Plodovi grejpfruta značajno se ističu bogatim nutritivnim sastavom, posebice sadržajem vitamina C, polifenolnih spojeva i snažnom antioksidacijskom aktivnosti. Sastav i sadržaj fitokemikalija uvelike ovisi o genetskim svojstvima vrste odnosno sorte. Stoga je i cilj ovog istraživanja bio utvrditi fizikalno-kemijska svojstva, sadržaj bioatkivnih spojeva i antioksidacijski potencijal plodova grejpfruta dviju različitih sorti: 'Marsh Seedless' i 'Natzumikan'. Obje sorte grejpfruta ubrane su u nasadu agruma na području Opuzena. Istraživane sorte ne razlikuju se značajno u sadržaju ukupne suhe tvari (prosječna utvrđena vrijednost 11,55%), topljive suhe tvari (prosječna utvrđena vrijednost 9,89%) kao ni u sadržaju vitamina C (prosječna utvrđena vrijednost 42,92 mg/100 g svježe tvari). Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the physicochemical properties, bioactive compound content and antioxidant potential of grapefruit fruits of two different cultivars: 'Marsh Seedless' and 'Natzumikan'. Both grapefruit cultivars were harvested from a citrus orchard in the Opuzen region. The studied varieties did not differ significantly in the total dry matter content (average determined value 11.55%), total soluble solids (average determined value 9.89%), as well as in the of vitamin C content (average determined value 42.92 mg/100 g fresh matter). However, significant differences were found in the polyphenolic compounds content, with the variety 'Natzumikan' having as much as 66% more total phenols, 76% more total flavonoids and 54% more total non flavonoids compared to the variety 'Marsh Seedless'. Moreover, the cultivar 'Natzumikan' had significantly higher antioxidant capacity (1.68 mmol TE /L). From all this, it can be concluded that grapefruit fruit is a significant source of valuable phytochemicals important for human health.

A laboratory laser beam drying method for lemon balm (Melissa officinalis L.) is presented. The aim of this study was to determine the possibility of using lasers as a pre-treatment for drying the lemon balm leaves and also to determine the variation of water content during the treatment. Leaves were illuminated from one side during a period of 180 s with 100 mW and 200 mW lasers. Both sources of coherent light were in the red part of the visible spectrum with wavelengths of 650 nm. Freshly harvested lemon balm leaves with 75.64% of water content were used for the analysis. Low-energy laser beam treatment for a period of 180 s resulted in the reduction of water content of 0.307% for 100 mW laser treatment and 0.31% for the 200 mW laser treatment. Amounts of energy emitted by low energy lasers are relatively small. Therefore, lasers thermal influence is negligible so it can be concluded that laser activity on lemon balm leaves is based solely on biostimulation. The proposed method allows effective reduction of water content without causing damage to the plant material. For practical application, dryers with integrated laser diode network were proposed. Low energy coherent radiation treatment represents an inexpensive and environmentally safe method that does not pollute the environment. This method also provides close control of the process, and in spite of the greater cost of energy, the overall increase in drying efficiency and throughput can bring about significant economic savings.

Grožđe se uglavnom suši u svrhu proizvodnje grožđica te aromatiziranja i proizvodnje desertnih vina. Glavni ciljevi sušenja grožđa su skraćivanje trajanja postupka a time i smanjivanje troškova uz zadržavanje zadovoljavajućih nutritivnih i senzorskih svojstava. Neinvazivne tehnike kao što je laser mogu se primijeniti kao predtretman sušenju. Primjena lasera male izlazne snage izaziva više pozitivnih reakcija na biljnom materijalu, što pruža mogućnosti njihove široke primjene u preradi i doradi poljoprivrednih proizvoda. Analize su provedene na sortama Muškat Hamburg i Traminac. Sušenje kontrolnog uzorka i bobica tretiranih laserom (izlazne snage 100 i 200 mW) provedeno je u laboratorijskoj sušnici na temperaturi od 40 ºC. Vrijeme trajanja konvekcijskog sušenja sorte Traminac bilo je nešto kraće u odnosu na sortu Muškat Hamburg. Kod sorte Muškat Hamburg skraćivanje vremena sušenja zabilježeno je kod tretmana 100 mW laserom u trajanju od 60 s, dok je kod sorte Traminac skraćivanje vremena sušenja zabilježeno kod uzoraka predtretiranih laserom od 100 i 200 mW u trajanju od 60 s., Grapes are mainly dried for the purpose of raisin production and aromatization and production of dessert wines. The main goals of grape drying are to shorten the duration of the process and to reduce costs while maintaining nutritional and sensory properties. Non-invasive techniques such as laser can be applied as pre-treatment for drying. The use of low-power lasers causes more positive reactions on plant material, which provides opportunities for their widespread use in processing and finishing of agricultural products. Analyses were performed on Muscat Hamburg and Traminac grape varieties. Drying of the control sample and laser-treated berries (with output powers 100 and 200 mW) was performed in the laboratory dryer at a temperature of 40 ºC. The duration of convection drying was shorter for the Traminac variety than for the Muscat Hamburg variety. A reduction in drying time was observed for the variety Muscat Hamburg with laser treatment 100 mW during 60 s, while a reduction in drying time was observed for the variety Traminac at 100 and 200 mW laser during 60 s pretreatment.

Plodovi grejpfruta značajno se ističu bogatim nutritivnim sastavom, posebice sadržajem vitamina C, polifenolnih spojeva i snažnom antioksidacijskom aktivnosti. Sastav i sadržaj fitokemikalija uvelike ovisi o genetskim svojstvima vrste odnosno sorte. Stoga je i cilj ovog istraživanja bio utvrditi fizikalno-kemijska svojstva, sadržaj bioatkivnih spojeva i antioksidacijski potencijal plodova grejpfruta dviju različitih sorti: 'Marsh Seedless' i 'Natzumikan'. Obje sorte grejpfruta ubrane su u nasadu agruma na području Opuzena. Istraživane sorte ne razlikuju se značajno u sadržaju ukupne suhe tvari (prosječna utvrđena vrijednost 11,55%), topljive suhe tvari (prosječna utvrđena vrijednost 9,89%) kao ni u sadržaju vitamina C (prosječna utvrđena vrijednost 42,92 mg/100 g svježe tvari). Ovčja vuna, do jučer jedna od najdragocjenijih tekstilnih sirovina, danas predstavlja značajan ekološki teret za okoliš u Republici Hrvatskoj, poglavito u južnim, turistički intenzivnim krajevima. Opće je poznato da je ovčja vuna, vlakno kompleksne građe prvenstveno načinjene od strukturnog proteina keratina. Također se, u ovčjoj vuni nalazi vuneni vosak – lanolin, koji je po sastavu uglavnom smjesa kolesterola i estera različitih viših alkohola, stearinskih sterola i steroida s masnim kiselinama. Vuna je zbog lanolina vodotporna, ima nizak koeficijent paropropusnosti u rasponu od 1 do 5, tj. dobru paropropusnost. Postupkom pranja lanolin se izdvaja, pa se značajno mijenjaju svojstva vune u pogledu održivosti tj. trajnosti, jer oprana vuna, bez lanolina, znatno je smanjene otpornosti na nametnike (kukci, moljci), a u dodiru s vapnom ili cementom kemijski reagira i time se smanjuje njen vijek trajanja. Prema Jedinstvenom registru ovaca i koza u RH ima 648.818 grla ovaca, s prosječnom proizvodnjom 1, 89 kg vune/grlo, što čini ukupnu proizvodnju od 2.111.346, 90 kg vune (2.111, 35 tona). Od te se količine do 30% tj. 633, 40 tona koristi za raznorazne namjene, ponajviše u tekstilnoj proizvodnji, dok 1.479, 95 tona ostaje neiskorišteno i u Hrvatskoj se najčešće, ne vodeći računa o ograničenom prihvatnom kapacitetu okoline, neodgovorno odlaže na divljim odlagalištima (Mioč i sur., 2019.). Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi primjenljivost neobrađene ovčje vune kao izolacijskog materijala u kombinaciji s građevinskim mortovima. Eksperiment je proveden uporabom ovčje vune pasmine Merinolandschaf koja je nakon strižnje, jednom isprana (pretpranje) i osušena. Pretpranjem je uklonjeno oko 80% nečistoća, no zadržan je lanolin. U do sada poznatim tehnologijama proizvodnje, nakon pretpranja, vuna je prolazila kroz cijeli niz obrada. U tim postupcima korištene su velike količine zdravstveno ispravne vode. Takvu vodu po završetku postupaka pranja trebalo je posebno obraditi u tzv. tehničku vodu. Svi ti postupci značajno su utjecali na cijenu vune kao izolacijskog materijala. Za potrebe dvogodišnjeg istraživanja, načinjeni su šuplji betonski blokovi, u kalupu pa izvaljani, nestandardnih dimenzija 190 * 110 * 65 mm od standardiziranog materijala sastava cement, pijesak granulacije 0/4 mm prema normi HRN EN 14992:2008 i HRN EN 771-3. Također je, u kalupu pa izvaljan, načinjen uložak vanjskih dimenzija 120 * 60 * 45 mm. Ovojnica uloška načinjena je od produženog (hidrauličkog) morta sastava cement, vapno, pijesak granulacije 0/4 mm, a u skladu sa normom HRN EN 998-1:2016. Debljina sloja ovojnice iznosila je 5 mm, a u nju je utisnuta armaturna tekstilno staklena mrežica, pravokutnog otvora 5.0 * 4.0 mm i debljine 0, 5 mm, zbog poboljšanja mehaničkih svojstava. U tako oblikovan uložak i načinjenu masu ovojnice s unutarnje strane tlačno je utisnuta neobrađena vuna. Zbog svojih karakteristika i sastava privlačna je raznim nametnicima i štetočinama (moljci, kukci, grinje, glodavci i dr.) pa je prskanjem tretirana prirodnim ekološkim repelentima – razrijeđenom mješavinom 25 različitih eteričnih ulja neposredno prije potpunog zatvaranja uložaka i ploča. Iz uložaka, neposredno prije zatvaranja, izveden je postupak isisavanja zraka – stvaranje podtlaka do pv = 0, 2 *105 Pa (paps = 0, 81*105 Pa) vakuum crpkom, čime se postiže smanjena količina kisika (smanjen stupanj oksidacije) i pravilna distribucija /raspodjela/ vune i njeno zbijanje. U nekoliko uzoraka, u ovojnicu je ugrađen nepovratni ventil zbog provjere stanja tlaka i mirisa repelenata u unutarnjem dijelu uloška. Ulošci su izvedeni od neobrađene vune u 50 i 70% volumnom udjelu, gustoće 50 i 100 kg/m3. Također su, identičnog materijala i postupka, kao i prethodni ulošci, načinjene, u kalupu pa izvaljane, izolacijske „sendvič“ ploče, nestandardnih dimenzija 310 * 260 * 100 mm. Načinjene su ploče sa dvije debljine sloja ovojnice, i to: 10 i 20 mm, a sukladno tomu i debljine izolacijskog materijala – vune, 60 i 80 mm. Nakon 30 dana sušenja, mjerene su sljedeće toplinske karakteristike: koeficijent toplinske provodljivosti k (W/mK) ; koeficijent toplinskog otpora R (m2K/W) ; koeficijent otpora difuziji vodene pare ; toplinska difuzija a (m2/s) ; specifični volumni toplinski kapacitet c (J/m3K) ; koeficijent prolaska topline U (W/m2K) i gustoća (kg/m3). U navedenim mjerenjima korišten je prijenosni mjerni uređaj ISOMET 2114 sa ubodnom sondom za izravno dinamičko mjerenje svojstava prijenosa topline. U provedenim mjerenjima koeficijent toplinske provodljivosti k (W/mK) za ovčju vunu kretao se u rasponu od 0, 0346 do 0, 0618 W/mK. Temeljem provedenih istraživanja utvrđeno je da ovčja vuna ima zadovoljavajuće toplinske karakteristike kao izolacijski materijal. Primjenom odgovarajućih tehnoloških postupaka i prirodnih repelenata može se koristiti u neobrađenom stanju za izradu izolacijskih ploča zatvorenih mort – ovojnicom, odnosno da ju je moguće koristiti i za izradu izolacijskih uložaka za razne građevinske šuplje elemente, npr. betonski blokovi, blok opeku, cijevi, oplate i niz drugih.

Pod pojmom sušenja voća, povrća i ljekovitog bilja podrazumijeva se postupak konzerviranja tj. proizvodnje poljoprivredno prehrambenih proizvoda sa niskim udjelom vode i da se spriječi razvoj mikroorganizama. Ostvaruje se zagrijavanjem biljnog materijala dovođenjem određene količine topline putem radnog medija, najčešće zraka koja je potrebna za isparavanje, a potom i odnošenje određene količine vode iz njega. U ovom listu bilo je do sada niz objavljenih članaka koji su obrađivali teme sušenja poljoprivredno prehrambenih proizvoda i ljekovitog bilja, u količinama dostatnim za osobne potrebe (tzv. hobi proizvodnju), no ne i za veće, tržišne potrebe, u proizvodnji obiteljskih poljoprivrednih gospodarstava ili većih proizvodnih subjekata. Također, nisu obrađivali važnost i povezanost biljnog materijala i sušnice, tj. postupka sušenja. Zbog različite građe, tj. strukture materijala (ploda) i brzina otpuštanja vode je različita, čak i pri istoj temperaturi sušenja, no kvaliteta sušenog materijala i ekonomičnost postupka se značajno razlikuju. Posljedica toga je i niz negativnih promjena koje se javljaju tijekom postupka sušenja, npr. gubitak termolabilnih sastojaka, enzima, sposobnosti rehidracije, tamnjenje, (posmeđivanje), smežuravanje, zagaranje. Dakle, na sušenje materijala i njegova fizikalno kemijska svojstva značajan utjecaj imaju karakteristike i konstrukcijska izvedba sušnice.

A laboratory laser beam drying method for barley grains is presented and the corresponding energy transfer is analyzed.Laser beam was directed to the thin grain layer. Grains were illuminated from one side during a period of 60 seconds with 100 mW 650 nm and 200 mW 650 nm collimated laser beam. The amounts of energy delivered within the illuminated area were 12.74 Wsm-2 for a 100 mW laser and 25.48 Wsm-2 for 200 mW laser. Barley grain samples with 18, 20, and 25 % moisture contents were used for the analysis. Obtained results showed differences in energy consumption among grains with different initial moisture content. Differences among energy consumption were also observed between grains treated with 100 mW laser, compared to grains treated with 200 mW laser.The energy savings of 51 %, in laboratory conditions, compared to conventional hot air drying, are determined by using 100 mW laser on the grain samples with 25 % of moisture.Also, a result shows that energy savings depend on grain wet basis and decrease with decrease of moisture content. Other advantages of described treatment are easily installed laser in/on the internal transport conveyors, laser treatment device is not harmful to the environment, does not leave burning fuel residue and also reduces the need for energy for hot air transport. The amount of energy emitted by the applied semiconductor lasers is relatively low and their thermal effect is negligible, therefore effect on grains is based only on bio stimulation. For these purpose it is necessary to investigate the balance between laser power, treatment period and biological effect of treatment.

Cilj rada bio je utvrditi razlike u sadržaju specijaliziranih metabolita između plodova samoniklih genotipova pasje ruže i plodova iz uzgoja. Značajno veće vrijednosti sadržaja ukupnih fenola utvrđene su u plodovima iz ekološkog uzgoja i to 18 % veće u usporedbi s plodovima iz konvencionalnog i 8 % veće u usporedbi s plodovima samoniklih genotipova. Također, značajno veće vrijednosti antioksidacijskog kapaciteta utvrđene su u plodovima iz ekološkog uzgoja. Suprotno, sadržaj β- karotena bio je značajno veći u plodovima samoniklih genotipova i to za čak dva puta u usporedbi s plodovima iz ekološkog i konvencionalnog uzgoja.

48. Primjena fizikalnog predtremana abrazije u postupku sušenja šljive

Voštana prevlaka površine kožice ploda šljive ključna je prepreka gubitku vode prilikom postupka sušenja te ju je nužno ukloniti. Cilj ovog rada bio je istražiti utjecaj primjene različitih predtretmana, kemijskog (primjenom lužine), fizikalnog (primjenom abrazije) i toplinskog (ugrijanom destiliranom vodom) na vrijeme sušenja plodova šljive sorte 'President'. Također, varirani su i ključni parametri svakog pojedinog predtretmana poput temperature otopine prilikom toplinskog (22 i 60 °C), koncentracije (0,5, 1 i 1,5% v/v) i temperature (22 i 60 °C) lužine (KOH) kod kemijskog i vremenskog perioda abrazije (5, 10 i 15 min) kod fizikalnog. Prema dobivenim rezultatima, kemijski predtretman lužinom koncentracije 1 i 1,5% temperature 60 °C bio je najučinkovitiji, vrijeme sušenja iznosilo je svega 27 sati, adok je samo 2 sata dulje (29 h) trajalo sušenje plodova predtretiranih abrazijom u vremenu od 15 min. Temeljem svega, može se zaključiti kako je fizikalni predtretman abrazijom izrazito učinkovit u uklanjanju voštane prevlake, time i u skraćivanju vremena sušenja plodova šljive, a isto tako treba naglasiti kako primjenom abrazivnog predtretmana značajno utječemo na smanjenje onečišćenja okoliša, ali i na zdravlje ljudi, s obzirom da nema ostataka kemijskih sredstava koja nakon primjene treba adekvatno zbrinuti, jer potencijalno mogu negativno utjecati na čovjeka i okoliš., Wax coating from the surface of the plum fruit skin is a key barrier to water loss during the drying process and it is necessary to remove it. Therefore, the aim of this study was to examine the impact of the application of different pre-treatments, i.e. chemical (using alkali solution), physical (using abrasion) and thermal (heated distilled water) on the drying time of plum fruits cv. 'President'. Also, the key factors of each pre-treatment varied, such as the temperature of the solution in the thermal pre treatment (22 and 60 °C), the concentration (0.5, 1 and 1.5% v/v) and the temperature (22 and 60 °C) of the alkali solution (KOH) in the chemical and time duration of abrasion (5, 10 and 15 min) in the physical pretreatment, while the influence of each pre-treatment was researched. According to the obtained results, chemical pre-treatment with alkali solution concentration of 1 and 1.5% temperature of 60 °C was most effective in shortening the drying time of plums, lasted only 27 hours, while only 2 hours longer (29 h) lasted the drying of plums pre-treated by abrasion of 15 min. Based on all mentioned, it can be concluded that the physical pre-treatment by abrasion is extremely effective in removing the wax coating thus affecting shortening the drying time of plum fruits, and it should be emphasized that the application of abrasive pretreatment significantly affects the reduction of environmental pollution, but also human health, given that there are no chemical residues that after application should be adequately disposed of, which can affect humans and environment.

U ovom radu autori daju osnovni pregled pravnog statusa udruga u pravu neprofitnih organizacija u Republici Hrvatskoj, uz uvodnu naznaku temeljnih zajedničkih karakteristika udruga. U središnjem dijelu rada, autori se osvrću na pravno uređenje znaka udruge kao fakultativnog obilježja udruge. Autori poseban naglasak daju na potencijal udruga glede obavljanja gospodarskih djelatnosti sukladno posebnim propisima za svaku od vrsta takvih djelatnosti. Ukoliko udruge imaju statutarno predviđen svoj znak kao obilježje udruge, a istodobno se pojavljuju na tržištu obavljajući određenu gospodarsku djelatnost, za očekivati je da svoj znak registriraju kao žig i ostvare cjelovitu njegovu zaštitu u odnosu na konkurenciju.

50. Utjecaj uzgoja na kemijski sastav ploda pasje ruže

Cilj rada bio je utvrditi razlike u kemijskom sastavu između plodova samoniklih genotipova pasje ruže, plodova uzgojenih konvencionalnim načinom te ekološki uzgojenih plodova. U plodovima samoniklih genotipova utvrđen je najveći postotak suhe tvari (46, 41 %) i ukupnih kiselina (9, 57 %), ali i najmanja vrijednost vitamina C (79, 26 mg/100 g svježe tvari). Najveće vrijednosti vitamina C (341, 92 mg/100 g svježe tvari) utvrđene su u plodovima iz konvencionalnog uzgoja. Također, utvrđene su značajne razlike u sadržaju suhe tvari, topljive suhe tvari kao i vitamina C s obzirom gdje su plodovi ubrani. Može se zaključiti kako su uvjeti u kojima raste pasja ruža jedan od ključnih čimbenika koji značajno utječu na kemijski sastav u plodovima pasje ruže.
