The study highlights the importance of rural tourism from a social economic perspective in rural areas. Tourism benefits tourists, hosts, but also the community in which they run. Tourism is of major importance to the economic and social life of the area, with direct, indirect, and induced positive effects. Tourism represents an important source of jobs for rural communities. Tourism gives business opportunities to local population and increase local quality of life. Tourism encourages restoration of local and regional historic sites and supports local culture in rural areas.

International tourism is perhaps the only domain that under the economic crisis circumstances still records economic growth, and Romania has a major potential, but poorly capitalized, which exploited at optimum parameters, can be a solution for socio-economic revival of local communities.

The main goal of this study is the evaluation of impact perception upon West region of various programmes that have financed the development of touristic projects.

Literature shows some bankruptcy methods for determining the financial distress status of companies and based on this information we chosen Altman statistical model because it has been used a lot in the past and like that it has become a benchmark for other methods. Based on this financial analysis flowchart, programming software was developed that allows the calculation and determination of the bankruptcy probability for a certain rate of failure Z-score, corresponding to a given interval that is equal to the ratio of the number of bankrupt companies and the total number of companies (bankrupt and healthy) interval.

Patrimonial analysis of financial stability is realized with the help of some indicator determined on the balance: working capital; required working capital and net treasury. These indicators are determined and presented in evolution at two companies with different situations, and there are given conclusions and suggestions concerning achieving and maintaining the financial equilibrium or initiating corrective measures in time, before the imbalance would take irrecoverable forms.

Due to the amplification of globalization phenomenon, the risks to which international activities are exposed have become much more diversified and complex. A special status among international risks is the country risk. A foreign investor will never invest in some country without performing and analysing an evaluation report of that country. So, we can conclude that these reports are like a visiting card of assessed countries. Therefore, within this context of global economy evolution it is imperative to know the sovereign risk of every state.

The economic crisis had recoiled on enterprises, families and citizens in all over the European Union. In Europe there are over 20 million unemployed people, and the situation has no perspective to improve. European cohesion policy helps European national and regional authorities fight together against unemployment. Accordingly, the Strategy Europe 2020 proposes a vision for the social market economy of Europe in the next decade and it’s based on three priority domains, which intersect and mutually stimulate: intelligent economic growth, development of an economy based on knowledge and innovation, durable economic growth, promotion of a competitive economy, with low carbon emissions and an efficient use of resources, also inclusive economic growth, promotion of an economy with a high level of labour force absorption which will generate social and territorial cohesion.

The recession has affected a proportion of 6-7% in Romania, whichconfronted with the consequences of current deficit and sizable debts in foreign currency.Under these circumstances, Romanian companies faced big difficulties, therefore just a littlepart of them managed to reach their target - to get profit. Most of the companies are recordinglosses, and are in insolvency procedure.

The paper proposes to present the approaches modalities of the risk towhich an investor is subjected in various situations during the development of its business. Therisk description is based on the idea of quantifying the probability of occurrence and severity ofthe event the reason for which in the approach of business risk is necessary to treat theprobability distributions in the occurence of risk and their construction methods. Paper alsohighlights how the work of measuring risk can be realized during the development of abusiness.

Expectation for performance in management of medical institutions is growing up. Public hospital spending is the fastest-growing area of government expenditure, but its growth can be slowed. The price paid for care is based on the average cost of treatment.A lot of many performance measures and indicators in health management is used in practice and in the literature. The research is performed in the interest of development of the discussion in the medical domain about performance indicator.
