We have measured the branching ratio BR(Φ → π^0 π^0 γ) with the KLOE detector using a sample of ~5x10^7Φ decays.Φ mesons are produced at DAFNE, the Frascati Φ-factory. We find BR(Φ → π^0 π^0 γ) = ( 1.09 ± 0.03(stat) ± 0.05(syst) )x10^-4. We fit the two--pion mass spectrum to models to disentangle contributions from various sources.

In this chapter the authors analyze the concept and definitions of anonymity in the modern connected world. In particular, they explore if modern technology renders complete anonymity impossible and if a new definition of anonymity needs to be adopted. They examine examples of anonymous use of technology that illustrate the complexity of the concept of anonymity and demonstrate that access to anonymity is not uniform for data owners with regard to multiple data controllers and audiences in complex systems and processes. They evaluate legal definitions of “anonymity” and “anonymous data” as well as the right to anonymity provided in the European directives and by some European statutes, observing that anonymity cannot be absolute, that only “relative” anonymity is realistic in the present technological environment, and that different degrees of anonymity exist. They address the issue of measuring these degrees or levels of anonymity in complex systems, in order to provide a new foundation for a nuanced and comprehensive understanding of anonymity. The authors conclude that the concept of relative anonymity can become the basis for a new and more effective approach to personal data protection.

Italian (and EU) legislation in force does not appear to address the protection of minors in ICT networks in a completely satisfactory manner. Such conclusion especially arises when one considers that no liability is attributed on providers which only transmit information generated by a recipient of their service, or which merely give access to a communication network, with only a few specific exceptions. On the other hand, it cannot be said that a wider protection is afforded by the Italian self-regulation Code on the Internet and minors, signed in 2003. This Code is hardly a binding legal instrument, being rather an agreement among the parties who signed it. Above all, it is the lack of a diffused culture of prevention and sensitivity among providers to be more evident. As a matter of fact such gap of protection of minors has clearly surfaced many times over the recent years. Having in mind the above framework, the present work is aimed to analyse some aspects of the protection of minors in ICT communications and the liability of provid-ers under private law in the Italian legal system.

This paper focuses on the relative nature of anonymity, connections of anonymity and data protection, and, finally, outline strategies for measuring anonymity from the user's point of view, in environments with multiple and diverse interconnected nodes.

In particolare, il volume si propone di approfondire l'analisi dei servizi offerti dall'informatica nonchè degli strumenti di cui l'informatica si avvale per realizzare i servizi che offre. Il volume, inoltre, si propone di analizzare i principi su cui si basa l'informatica.

Il contributo è dedicato alla complessa disamina del problema dell'individuazione delle tecniche di imputazione della volontà negoziale con riguardo ai contratti informatici e telematici.
