This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of literature in the field of Surgical Gastroenterology in MEDLINE data which are covered in PubMed during the study period i.e., from the year 2010 to 2019. It is observed that a total of 12917 records covered in the field of Surgical Gastroenterology. The maximum number of 2168 records was published in the year 2019. It is also observed that 51.63% of records are journal articles and 97.86% of records were in the English language. The United States has contributed the highest number of 4938 records in the study period. The Relative Growth Rate (RGR) has decreased, and the Doubling Time (Dt) has increased in the study period which reveals that the literature in the field of Surgical Gastroenterology is growing year after year. Indian efforts in Surgical Gastroenterology research are greater in 6 years out of 10 years of the study period. A total of 144 journals are identified as core journals in the field of Surgical Gastroenterology.

The literatures in the field of Prosthodontics in the MEDLINE data which is covered in the PubMed are considered. This study is framed to identify the core journals and its subject-wise coverage of journals and country of publication in the discipline of Prosthodontics. A total of 41524 records covered in the field of Prosthodontics in the study period i.e. from the year 2010 to 2019. It is found that a total of 62.03% of records are journal articles. Sixty-Three journals in the Zone-1 and Zone-2 were identified as core journals in the field of Prosthodontics. It is also found that the United States published 20 core journals out of 63 core journals in the field of Prosthodontics. The United States is dominated in the first position in the study of core journal analysis and followed by the countries i.e. England, Germany, China, India, Brazil, etc. The most frequently cited journal articles are published in the Dentistry subject journals; followed by Prosthodontics subject journals, Oral & Maxillofacial Implants subject journals, etc.

Presents a bibliometric analysis of the literature in the discipline of Polio as listed the MEDLINE data which covered in the PubMed for the length 1990-2019.It is found that a total of 18956 records are within the MEDLINE database which covered by PubMed on ‘Polio ’. Maximum number of 1683 records was published during the year 2019, followed by 1672 records in the year 2017 and 1587 records in the year 2018. In zone-2 study, the United States shared 40.6% in the first position followed by England, Switzerland, and Germany etc. In zone-1 and zone-2 combined study; it shows that United States shared 42.86% followed by England in the second position, Germany and Switzerland shared the third position, the Netherlands in the fourth position, and China in the fifth position.

This paper an attempt has been made to find the publication growth and research in India on “Lung Cancer” literature. The literature covered in the MEDLINE database for the period 2010-2015 was considered. There are 64180 records on Lung Cancer literature from the year 2010 to 2015 observed. The United States is the major producer, followed by England, Netherlands, China, and Germany etc. The scholarly communication is effected through the English language in almost all the countries irrespective of their native language of the country. Relative Growth Rate (RGR) has been decreasing. On the other hand, the Doubling Time (DT) has shown an increasing trend. A total of 680 Indian records were retrieved for the period 2010-2015. The number of Indian records increased from 2010 to 2014 but slightly declined in the year 2015. The percentage of publications in Lung Cancer which compared with world records is 1.56% in 2010 and it is 1.01% in 2015, which reveals that there is a gradual decrease of the quantum of publications on the subject compared to world publications. Indian efforts in Lung Cancer research are greater in three years out of six years of study, since the Activity Index is higher than 100, in those three years, which reflects the higher activity of Lung Cancer research than the World’s average in those years.

Realizing the potential of spaceborne multispectral measurements in providing spatial information on natural resources, and of Geographic Information System (GIS) in integrating such information with the socio-economic data and other collateral information to arrive at derivative information, we report here the results of a study which was taken up in a watershed in Charkhari block of Mahoba district, northern India, to generate the information on natural resources from Indian Remote Sensing Satellite (IRS-1B) Linear Imaging Self-scanning Sensor (LISS-II) images through a systematic visual interpretation, and its subsequent integration with the collateral information in a GIS environment to develop optimal land use plan/action plan for sustainable development of its land resources. Since permanent vegetation cover in the watershed has been dwindling due to population pressure, the need for establishing more vegetation cover has been stressed.

Cutting of irradiated zircaloy metal clad ceramic fuel pellets requires a special cutting saw that can be remotely operated. The remote operation is essential because of the pyrophoric nature of zircaloy metal and high radiation field associated with the irradiated fuel elements. Conventional saws cannot meet the operational requirements because these are not readily amenable for remote operation and maintenance. Hence we have developed a new laboratory scale cutting saw for cutting radioactive samples remotely.
