Recently the intensity and magnitude of air pollutant concentration has grown up rapidly in the troposphere. The air pollution is primarily associated with automobiles and industrial sources Hyderabad, capital of Telangana, is a center of southern part of India for both industrial and commercial activity. It is one of the most populous urban areas with approximately 6.8 million inhabitants and over 73,000 small, medium and major industrial establishments sharing the greater city.Air pollution in India is monitored by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) together with the State Pollution Control Boards (SPCBs) and the National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) in Nagpur. The National Air Quality Monitoring Programme (NAMP) was started in 1984 with 7 sensor stations, 248 towns and cities have the air quality network of 591 Air Quality Monitoring Stations upto 2015, it is reported that in India 2022 added 180 manual air quality monitoring stations, increasing their number to 883 to achieve the target of 1,500 by 2024. For our study due to practical difficulties to collect, analysis the air quality, pollutants data has been collected from CPCB.The dataset contains City, Date, PM2.5, PM10, NO, NO2, NOx, NH3, CO, SO2, O3, Benzene, Toulene, Xylene, Air Quality Index (AQI). Hyderabad was divided into 6 zones, air quality monitoring sensors is located at 14 places in and around six zones. For our study we selected 2 stations Newmalakpet and Sanathnagar based on heavy traffic area to analyse the maximum concentration of pollutants such as PM2.5, PM10, NO2, NO3, SO2, CO, for the period of three months ( Dec 2022,Jan, Feb 2023).It was observed at site 1 to site 52PM2.5,range 120 to 249 µg/m3 is very poor as per AQI, PM10 range 101.2 to 171 µg/m3 is moderately polluted as per AQI, NO2 range 7.46 to 32.9 µg/m3 is good as per AQI, NH3 range3.06 to 5.44 is good as per AQI, SO2 is 12.97 to 8.53 µg/m3 is good ,CO 61.83 to 71.9 is severe as per AQI, continuous air quality monitoring is necessary to protect environment and human health

Waste disposal is especially important when it comes to medical supplies, as some waste can be contaminated with diseases and dangerous pathogens. Not all biomedical waste is treated the same way and different disposal companies use different methods such as autoclaving, incineration, chemicals and microwaves. Improper disposal of medical waste causes environmental pollution, unpleasant odours, the growth and reproduction of insects, rodents and nematodes, and injuries from blood-contaminated sharp objects, typhoid fever, cholera, hepatitis, etc. can lead to disease transmission. Thisstudy will reveal the current processes and environmental impacts of biomedical waste management by examining the quantity and quality of biomedical waste (BMW) generated by pharmacies, laboratories and multiple speciality hospitals.

We also need to do a lot of research and development in the field of developing eco-friendly medical devices and BMW disposal systems to achieve a greener and cleaner environment. This study will reveal the current processes and environmental impacts of biomedical waste management by examining the quantity and quality of biomedical waste (BMW) generated by pharmacies, laboratories and multiple speciality hospitals.

Industries are revolutionizing everyday as we step into industrial 4.0 with enhanced and smart technologies ruling every micro hub. The Information Technology industry is running with thousands of employees at once needs more power management system. The proposed system identifies the entry of any person at the entrance. The identified person’s cabin or workspace power is turned on with simpler but efficient way of communication as LoRa module is used. The person is face recognized with the assistance of cameras at the entrance and their ID is transmitted to the Distribution box controller where the Air conditioner and other local supplies are automated to be turned on meanwhile. An employee’s ID and his position in the industry are matched in the industry with distribution box control which is reprogrammable. This LoRa WAN network is used effectively with gateways to transport less data to longer range as the system deals with large network. The end node of this network is fitted with energy meter and localized controller to calculate the power consumed as well control the appliances, which also gives a leverage of using implementing this at home.

Temozolomide (TMZ), an imidazotetrazine, is a second-generation DNA alkylating agent used as a first-line treatment of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). It was approved by FDA in 2005 and declared a blockbuster drug in 2008. Although TMZ has shown 100% oral bioavailability and crosses the blood-brain barrier effectively, however it suffers from limitations such as a short half-life (∼1.8 h), rapid metabolism, and lesser accumulation in the brain (∼10-20%). Additionally, development of chemoresistance has been associated with its use. Since it is a potential chemotherapeutic agent with an unmet medical need, advanced delivery strategies have been explored to overcome the associated limitations of TMZ. Nanocarriers including liposomes, solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs), nanostructure lipid carriers (NLCs), and polymeric nanoparticles have demonstrated their ability to improve its circulation time, stability, tissue-specific accumulation, sustained release, and cellular uptake. Because of the appreciable water solubility of TMZ (∼5 mg/mL), the physical loading of TMZ in these nanocarriers is always challenging. Alternatively, the conjugation approach, wherein TMZ has been conjugated to polymers or small molecules, has been explored with improved outcomes in vitro and in vivo. This review emphasized the practical evidence of the conjugation strategy to improve the therapeutic potential of TMZ in the treatment of glioblastoma multiforme.

Background: Leptin is a hormone, secreted by adipocytes that control the food intake. It is an anorexigenic hormone, which leads to the suppression of appetite. Obesity is characterized by hyperleptinemia due to the development of leptin resistance 1. Resistin is a adipokine, resisting insulin secreted from scortal cell and macrophages of adipose cell. Diabetes is a chronic disorder presenting with high blood sugar values, either due to less production of insulin or insulin insensitivity. These adipokines have a direct correlation with diabetes. So their levels tend to vary in diabetes. Aim: To estimate the levels of Serum Leptin, Resistin, Insulin, FBS and lipid profile in Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus patient. Material and methods: A cross sectional analytical studies was conducted in DR B R AMC. Study group included 80 known case of diabetes mellitus. 40 patients type 1 DM in group 1 and 40 patients with Type 2 DM was included as group 2. Results: BMI, FBS, Lipid profile had no significant difference among both the groups. Insulin was high in type 1 diabetes mellitus, but with no statistical significance. Leptin levels are significantly high in Type 1 DM compared to type 2 DM.

Serum Zinc levels in uncontrolled Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients was 174.7 ± 31.0 µg/dl and in the controls it was 207.4 ± 36.6 µg/dl. In this paper we are going to discuss the implementation and working of smart blind stick for obstacle detection and navigation. This project is implemented to provide a smart electronic guide for blind people. Different kinds of blindness and visual impairment makes people difficult to move from one place to another place. The main of our project is to provide some type of guidance to blind people while moving by helping them in detecting obstacles in their way via ultrasonic sensors, navigating them using GPS module and sending emergency message for rescuing them to caretakers using GSM technology. The system we proposed is an economical, easy-to-use solution for the blind to increase their mobility. The expeditious transmission of the severe acute respiratory coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), a strain of COVID-19, crumbled the global economic strength and caused a veritable collapse in health infrastructure. The molecular modeling of the novel coronavirus research sounds promising and equips more evidence about the pragmatic therapeutic options. This article proposes a machine-learning framework for identifying potential COVID-19 transcriptomic signatures. The transcriptomics data contains immune-related genes collected from multiple tissues (blood, nasal, and buccal) with accession number: GSE183071. Extensive bioinformatics work was carried out to identify the potential candidate markers, including differential expression analysis, protein interactions, gene ontology, and KEGG (Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes) pathway enrichment studies. The overlapping investigation found SERPING1, the gene that encodes a glycosylated plasma protein C1-INH, in all three datasets. Furthermore, the immuno-informatics study was conducted on the C1-INH protein. 5DU3, the protein identifier of C1-INH, was fetched to identify the antigenicity, major histocompatibility (MHC) Class I and II binding epitopes, allergenicity, toxicity, and immunogenicity. The screening of peptides satisfying the vaccine-design criteria based on the metrics mentioned above is performed. Wireless power transfer system based on magnetic resonant coupling (MRC-WPT) is widely used to prolong the lifetime of energy-limited devices for short-distance transmission. To maximize the harvested power for the three-coil MRC-WPT system, in this letter a novel optimization problem is proposed to determine the location of relay coil. Although this problem is non-convex, we still have been able to obtain the globally optimal solution in the form of roots of five degree polynomial. We also present a tight closed-form approximation for the optimal location of relay coil to gain analytical insights. Numerical results verify the global optimality claim and provide insights on the coil location for different system parameters. Lastly, it’s shown that the optimal relay location is closer to the destination coil.

In an attempt to develop natural product-based anticancer agents, a series of novel piperazine-linked bergenin heterocyclic hybrids bearing arylthiazolyl (5a–e), benzothiazolyl (10a–i), and arylsulfonyl (13a–o) were synthesized using the classical Mannich reaction and evaluated for their anticancer activity. All the synthesized derivatives were assessed for in vitro cytotoxic activity against a panel of human cancer and normal cell lines and the results showed that most of the compounds exhibited significant cytotoxic activity against cancer cells and mild cytotoxicity against normal cells.
