Objective: to identify the most frequent internal risk factors for chronic and acute injuries of musculoskeletal system in young track and field athletes. Materials and methods: 33 track and field athletes (runners and long jumpers) aged from 11 to 17 years old were examined. Following parameters were assessed: ankle extension, flexion, pronation and supination; tonus of hamstring and flexibility of its tendons; tonus of iliopsoas muscle and rectus femoris; data from digital photometric plantography. Results: the following frequency of functional disorders of musculoskeletal system of the examined athletes was found: impairments of ankle extension degree, enhanced foot supination, enhanced foot pronation, forefoot valgus, great tonus of hamstring, low proprioceptive sensibility. The identified functional disorders of musculoskeletal system (and lower limbs in particular) may result in its subsequent chronic and acute injuries. Conclusions: biomechanical basis for impairments of musculoskeletal system in athletes (including runners for different distances) is attributable to their sports activities in childhood and adolescence. Scope of measures preventing chronic overexertion and acute injuries of musculoskeletal system should be developed from the early start in particular sports and according to internal and external risk factors.

Introduced grape varieties were studied in the south of Western Siberia in order to identify the effects of unfavourable factors of the growing season on the ripening of grape shoots. Weather conditions in the south of Western Siberia during the vegetation periods 2012-2017 were characterized by large fluctuations in water and temperature conditions; there were sharp changes not only in different years, but also during one season. Compared with long-term average data, a significant increase of relative air humidity and the amount of precipitation was noted from May to September. In 2016-2017 sharp changes of the amount of precipitation by months were marked (dry June, over-moistened July). The most unfavorable weather conditions for grape crop were the conditions of the growing season of 2013 with excessive rainfall (410.3 mm), very low average monthly air temperatures in May, June, July, September and the sum of active temperatures (2031.7°C). Under the influence of meteorological conditions, the terms of the beginning of the studied phenological phase changed very significantly over the years (30-62 days). Shoots ripening in years with favourable weather conditions (2012, 2015) began from July 14-August 1, with unfavorable (2013, 2017) — September 11-15. In one grape variety, insignificant variability of the degree of the studied character was revealed by years, in two — medium, in eight — high. Shoots ripened better in warmer and less humid 2012 (66.8-94.1 %) and in 2015 (58.4-92.5 %). Varieties with very poor ripening (33.0-46.9 %) Arkady, Kodryanka, Tomaysky are unsuitable for cultivation under production conditions and recommended for cultivation in amateur gardens with additional shelter. Varieties with maximum ripening of shoots on average over the years were selected from the American group White Pearls, Latvian Pink (83.1-84.9 %), Amurian Adel, Vaskovsky Souvenir, Hasan Bousa (65.5-79.3 %).

The paper reveals the scientific and research experience when exploring the impact of Nabikat (nanobiological catalyst, a product of mechanochemical synthesis of silicon compounds of rice husks and green tea, produced by the Centre for Technology Implementation inNovosibirsk) on the carp organism. The experiment was conducted in May-November of 2017 at Troitsk Fish Factory. The researchers selected 500 specimens of Scaly Carp of which 2 similar groups were arranged. The first group served as a control group and received the feed from the fish factory, while the second group of carps received Nabikat dosed2 kgper 1 ton of feed. The researchers took blood of 10 fish from each group for morphological biochemical analysis. Hematological analysis included the following indicators exploring: hemoglobin content, number of red blood cells and total number of leukocytes. The researchers determined total protein, albumins, urea, glucose, total lipids, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium as biochemical parameters. All the indicators were within the standard before the experiment, except for albumins and calcium, which concentrations were low. Medical clearance is an essential part for participation is recreational and professional sports events, including participation in the Russian physical culture training system “Ready for labour and defence” («Gotov k Trudu i Oborone» - abbreviated as GTO, in Russian). The Order № 134 of the Ministry of Health of Russia, dated March 1, 2016, defines the procedures for medical clearance of athletes, including those with disabilities. However some questions remaining the assessment of the health condition of the latter still remain open. There is no consensus agreement on contraindications for medical clearance giving and the terms of the validity of such clearance. In this paper we discuss the optimal terms for medical assessment of the disabled athletes, legal procedures, as well as give recommendation on medical clearance for athletes of different disability groups.

Scaly carp was kept in the cages of Troitsk Fishery Factory in Bobrovka, Troitsk District, Chelyabinsk Region. From May to November 2017, Nabicat was added to the diet of carps at a dose of 2 kg per ton. Nabicat is a complex substance containing calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and other 47 macro-microelements, as well as chelated silicon.

Recently published studies have demonstrated a direct link between heart rate (HR) and prognosis across various populations and clinical groups, including elderly people, patients with arterial hypertension, myocardial infarction, and coronary artery stenting, overweight patients, or even young people with relatively low cardiovascular risk levels. HR is considered as an additional independent risk factor (RF) of cardiovascular disease (CVD). However, thus far, pharmaceutical HR reduction has been demonstrated to improve prognosis only in patients with coronary heart disease or chronic heart failure. The results in CVD-free patients have been contradictory. The review discusses the potential of different HR-reducing therapeutic regimens, as a part of primary CVD prevention.

The forms of estimation of the economic potential of the enterprise are investigated,their classification is conducted, their advantages and defects are distinguished,prospects of their application are characterized. The need of the use of the cognitivemodeling of enterprise’s economic potential estimation methodology is substantiated. Theauthor points out at the need of the use of the cognitive modeling of enterprise’s econo-mic potential estimation methodology. Thereby it will be possible to determine the generalcondition of the company, to draw conclusions about its possible relation to market condi-tions, to objectively determine the management strategy vector, as well as the weak-nesses and strengths of the enterprise.

The phase composition of the Sm2(Fe1 − x − y Mn x Si y )17 alloys (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.1 and 0 ≤ y ≤ 0.3) annealed at 1273 K has been studied. The simultaneous alloying of the alloys with manganese and silicon has been found to change their phase composition. At T < 1473 K, the Th2Zn17-type structure of the Sm2(Fe,Mn,Si)17 compound transforms into the Th2Ni17-type structure, which exists only in the presence of all these four elements. At x ≥ 0.05 and y = 0.2, the Sm(Fe,Mn,Si)12 and SmMn2Si2 compounds are formed, and the Mn and Si concentrations in Sm2(Fe,Mn,Si)17 decrease. As a result, we failed to realize the Sm2(Fe,Mn,Si)17 compound with the uniaxial magnetic anisotropy in these alloys. Manganese additions slightly decrease the Curie temperature T C of the Sm2(Fe1 − x Mn x )17 compound. The additional alloying with silicon is accompanied by an increase in the Curie temperature of the Sm2(Fe,Mn,Si)17 compound; however, the T C magnitude was found to be lower than that for manganese-free compounds with the same silicon concentration. Manganese additions also decrease the Curie temperature of the Sm(Fe,Mn,Si)12 phase. The substitution of manganese for iron in the Sm2Fe17 compound substantially decreases the magnetization; additional alloying with silicon further decreases the magnetization, although the decrease is less abrupt.

Spin-reorientation transitions in intermetallic (Pr1-xSmx)Fe8Ga3C compounds with the tetragonal BaCd11-type structure have been investigated. The magnetic phase diagram has been proposed for these compounds based on magnetic and X-Ray diffraction studies using their nanocrystalline ribbons and powders aligned in a magnetic field. In the concentration range 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.4 the compounds exhibit an «easy-plane» anisotropy at all temperatures of the magnetically ordered state. The magnetic anisotropy of the compounds with 0.5 ≤ x ≤ 1 is of the «easy-cone» type. The SmFe8Ga3C compound with the highest Sm content is a uniaxial ferromagnet with no indications of a spin-reorientation transition below its Curie temperature.

As-cast and rapidly quenched alloys (RQAs) SmFe11 − xGaxC1.25 (2 ≤ x ≤ 5) have been studied. The RQAs were prepared by melt spinning on a steel wheel rotating at a velocity V = 10−40 m/s. Fragments of the RQAs were annealed in a vacuum at Tann = 500−850°C. The as-cast alloys are multiphase; the maximum volume fraction in them corresponds to the Sm2(Fe, Ga)17C compound with a rhombohedral structure. The rapid quenching leads to the formation of the Sm(Fe, Ga)11C compound (1: 11) with a tetragonal BaCd11-type structure; the maximum volume fraction of the compound is reached in the alloy with x = 3 quenched to a wheel rotating at V = 30 m/s. The melt spinnins of the alloys with x = 2−4 at V = 40 m/s is accompanied by their substantial amorphization. During annealing, the amorphous phase crystallizes mainly with the formation of the 1: 11 phase. A nonequilibrium phase diagram of the alloys quenched at V = 40 m/s and annealed at Tann = 500−850°C has been constructed. The 1: 11 compound has a single-phase region near x = 3 at Tann ≥ 600°C. As the volume fraction of the 1:11 phase increases, the coercive force Hc of nanocrystalline RQAs increases. The maximum coercive force is observed for the SmFe8Ga3C1.25 alloy quenched at V = 40m/s and subsequently annealed at 700°C; it is 0.8 and 12 kOe at 293 and 50 K, respectively. The high coercive force obtained indicates that the Sm(Fe, Ga)11C phase is magnetically uniaxial and has a high magnetic anisotropy energy. The magnetic anisotropy constant K1 of the compound at T = 50 K was estimated to be 3.1 × 107 erg/cm3.

A homogeneity range of the PrFe11 − xGaxCy phase was determined. As the gallium content increases, the lattice parameters were shown to increase, whereas the Curie temperature decreases; the type of magnetic anisotropy at room temperature is unchanged. In the alloys with x > 3, the transformation of the tetragonal lattice of the compound into an orthorhombic lattice with the axial ratio a/b ≤ 1.006 is observed. This is likely to be caused by the ability of gallium to form covalent bonds. Gallium atoms were found to occupy preferentially 16j2 and 4e2 sites in the orthorhombic lattice of the FePr6.5Ga4.5C compound. The atoms located in the 16j2 sites form wavy chains along the [010] direction of the orthorhombic lattice, whereas the iron atoms located in the 16j1 sites form analogous chains along the [100] direction. Owing to this fact, one of these directions is likely to become an easy axis. The alloy with x= 4.5 has a low coercive force at room temperature; at 114 K, its coercive force is Hc = 42.4 kA/m.

The phase composition of the iron-rich Sm-Fe-(V,W)-Ga alloys annealed at 1000 and/or 800°C and the effect of gallium on the magnetic properties of phases found in these alloys are studied. The tungsten and vanadium solubilities in the ternary phase Sm2{Fe1 − y(V,W)y}17 (with y ≤ 0.05) was determined. Both elements increase the Curie temperature of this compound but do not change the type of its anisotropy. Gallium was found to be an element stabilizing the Sm2{Fe1 − y(V,W)y}17 phase with the Th2Zn17-type structure; it increases the Curie temperature of the phase and changes the easy axis (EA) direction from the in-plane position to, first, a cone of easy axes and, then, the [0001] direction of the hexagonal lattice. An increase in the gallium content is accompanied by a widening of the homogeneity range of the phase at 1000°C. A phase of composition Sm3(Fe,W)29 with a monoclinic structure and lattice parameters a = 10.59 A, b = 8.56 A, c = 9.66 A, and β = 97° was detected. Its Curie temperature is TC = 185°C; the EA is parallel to the ‖[20\( \bar 1 \)] direction. The gallium solubility in the Sm3(Fe,W,Ga)29 and Sm(Fe,W,Ga)12 compounds was found to be very low; gallium increases their Curie temperatures.

The magnetic properties have been studied for the series of RNi5−xCux intermetallics with R=Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Lu; x⩽2.5. Compositional dependences of magnetic susceptibility for the Pauli paramagnets (R=Y, La, Ce, Lu) and the Curie temperature for ferromagnets (R=Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm) have maximum at x = 0.2 – 0.4 and 1, respectively. The substitution of Cu for Ni is accompanied by decreasing spontaneous magnetic moment and increasing coercive force of all ferromagnetic RNi5−xCux but GdNi5−xCux. These results are explained in the frame of band magnetism, random local crystal field, and domain wall pinning theories.

Magnetic properties and heat capacity of the pseudobinary TbNi 5− x Cu x and TbNi 5− x Al x alloys have been studied for x ⩽2.5 and x ⩽1.5, respectively. The substitution of Cu or Al for Ni decreases sharply the spontaneous magnetic moment, increases the magnetic anisotropy in the “easy” basal plane, and leads to strong magnetic domain wall pinning. The Curie temperature T C in TbNi 5− x Cu x depends on x non-monotonously and has a maximum value at x =1, while T C in TbNi 5− x Al x does not depend on composition up to x =1 and sharply decreases at x >1. These results are explained by the effects of random local crystal fields, band magnetism and heterogeneous polarization of the mixed 3d band.

Based on quantum chemistry and chemical kinetics, the paper formulates basically new concepts of the possibility of controlling biochemical reactions in biological tissues by simultaneously making abnormal human visceral foci, in cancer diseases in particular, exposed to two rays via radiation and optic laser radiations. The paper also presents experimental findings of the channeling of X-ray and fluxes of charged particles along the fiber wave guides. It considers the circuit engineering of a medical endoscopic device that concurrently transmits optic laser radiation and fluxes of penetrating radiation into the viscera.

It was experimentally revealed that the concentration variations of the spontaneous magnetization, Curie temperature, and initial susceptibility of RNi5−xCux alloys (R = Pr, Nd, Tb, Er, Y) were different for various R. The obtained results are qualitatively explained in terms of effects of random local crystal fields appearing in the substitutional alloys. [Russian Text Ignored].

The Curie temperatures, spontaneous magnetizations and initial susceptibilities were investigated in the temperature interval from 1.5 to 40 K for the pseudobinary alloys RNi5−xCux, where R = Pr, Gd and Y, x ≤ 2.6. It was discovered that the solid solutions PrNi5−xCux between the PrNi5 and PrCu5 Van Vleck paramagnets are ferromagnets for intermediate Cu concentrations. It was shown that the ferromagnetic ordering in PrNi5−xCux alloys can be explained by concentrational enhancement of 3d band susceptibility which in its turn leads to the enhancement of f-f exchange interactions. The maxima on the concentration dependences of both Curie temperatures for the RNi5−xCux ferromagnets with R = Pr, Gd and susceptibility for the YNi5−xCux Pauli paramagnets are manifestations of 3d band magnetism.

35 patients with arterial hypertension and obesity against the background of fasting-diet therapy and after 1 and 6 months after treatment conducted daily monitoring of blood pressure, microalbuminuria and glomerular filtration rate, the study of color and contrast sensitivity of retinal eyes. Fasting-diet therapy within 11 days results in reliable reduced daily average AD and stabilization of load pressure indicators; reduction originally pathological microalbuminurii at 18%, increase in the number of patients with normal speed glomerular filtering 48%; improving of eyes function, these changes are saved within 1-6 months after treatment without the using of antihypertensive therapy.

Etude de l'influence de l'element d'addition carbone ou de la combinaison du carbone et d'un metal (Co, Al, Ga), sur l'aimantation a saturation, la temperature de Curie, et l'anisotropie magnetocristalline du compose Sm 2 Fe 17

Effectiveness of an antihypertensive action of fasting therapy was studied in 147 patients with arterial hypertension stage I-II. Estimation of systolic and diastolic functions of the left ventricle in patients with arterial hypertension was carried out using stress echocardiography with isometric loading. Dynamics of systolic and diastolic arterial pressure (AP) and changes in the hyperbaric index for diastolic AP were assessed at 24-h AP monitoring. The course of fasting therapy consisting of a 2-week fasting period and the recovery period of the same duration resulted in a statistically significant reduction of weight, a decrease of average daily systolic and diastolic AP, lowering of the hyperbaric index of diastolic AP and improvement of the diastolic reserve of the left ventricle. 24-h AP monitoring and stress echocardiography within 3 months showed a high clinical effectiveness of fasting therapy.

Modified mathematical TDF and LQ models that take into account the volumes of the irradiated lung were designed. An important radiological parameter, such as a single tolerance, has been inserted into the LQ model. Mathematical model parameters versus irradiated lung volume curves have been plotted. It is shown that the tolerance calculated using two models may greatly differ particularly for the small irradiated lung. Further collection and processing of radiological information are required for making a justified conclusion on the comparative efficiency of the above models used in radiological practice.

Analyzing the data available in the literature shows that lung tissue is most radiosensitive and the impact of the volume of exposure of lung tissue to radiation per tolerance dose is greater than that of connective tissue. A modified Ellis model including the volume of irradiated tissue as a variable in addition to the number of fractions and the duration of radiation therapy. It has been used to calculate tables of TDF values for planning the fractionated regimens of lung radiation.

The role of androgen receptors (ARs) registration in cytosol tumor fraction has been investigated in 86 new cases of prostatic cancer. The frequency of occurrence and mean ARs levels in the tumor were found dependent on the disease stage and tumor differentiation. Well-differentiated against moderately and poorly differentiated prostatic cancers contain ARs in 73% and 39% of cases, respectively, in concentrations 10-100 fmol/mg protein and 100 fmol/mg protein, respectively. Patients with well-differentiated prostatic cancer at stage T1-4N0M0 and 10-100 fmol/mg protein ARs in the tumor tend to achieve longer remissions compared to patients with ARs-free tumors or tumor comprising ARs in concentrations surpassing 100 fmol/mg protein. No significant correlation exists between remission duration in patients on radiation treatment combined with estrogen therapy and the presence, levels of ARs in the tumor.

Cardiovascular and thromboembolic complications arising as a result of 1-16-year estrogen therapy were evaluated in 105 prostatic cancer patients. The incidence of the complications was higher in those who had pretreatment cardiological or vascular load. The latter caused death in half of the patients. Preventive and therapeutic measures to control the complications, prognosis signs are indicated.

Radioimmunoassay determination of prostatic-specific antigen (PSA) was conducted in 71 patients with prostatic cancer varying in stages. 85 serum samples were investigated. Of 21 newly diagnosed cases PSA was elevated in 16 (76.2%). No significant elevation of the marker was noticed in stage II patients, while at stage III and IV PSA levels were universally increased. The mean PSA level for stage III was 149.5 ng/ml, for stage IV 291.4 ng/ml. Two stage II patients in remission out of ten presented with high PSA concentrations, while in partial remission this was observed in 3 cases out of 9.50% occurrence of PSA elevated level was registered for stage III patients in remission, 100% occurrence in progression. Prostatic cancer stage IV manifested high PSA levels in 33% of cases under stabilization and in 100% in progression.

Incubation of resting (serum-deprived) NIH 3T3 mouse fibroblasts for 12 hours with PDGF1) stimulates the onset of DNA synthesis. A brief exposure (45 minutes) of resting cells to inhibitors of protein synthesis (cycloheximide or puromycin) exerts similar effect inducing by itself the entry of cells into the S period. Incubation with EGF1) following pretreatment with either PDGF or protein synthesis inhibitors does not enhance the number of cells synthesizing DNA. The results support the assumption that the acquirement, by resting cells, of competence for DNA replication includes, as a necessary step, the down-regulation of intracellular growth inhibitors whose formation depends on protein synthesis.
