Bu araştırmanın temel amacı Malazgirt ilçesindeki kadınların evlenme yaşı ve evlilik sürecinde psikolojik-fiziksel şiddete maruz kalma durumlarının belirlenmesidir. Nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama (survey) yapılarak veriler toplanmıştır. Veriler anket formu kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırmada toplanan veriler Microsoft Excel Programı kullanılarak frekans (f) ve yüzde (%) teknikleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi sonunda kadınların önemli bir bölümünün 18 yaşının altında evlendiği ve çok çocuklu oldukları söylenebilir. Kadınların neredeyse yarısının eşleri başta olmak üzere aile üyelerinden şiddet gördüğü belirlenmiştir. Sonuçların doğrultusunda öneriler sunulmuştur., The main purpose of this research is to determine the age at marriage and exposure to psychological-physical violence during the marriage process of women in Malazgirt district. Data were collected by conducting a survey, one of the quantitative research methods. Data were collected face to face using a questionnaire. The data collected in the research were analyzed using the Microsoft Excel Program with frequency (f) and percentage (%) techniques. At the end of the analysis of the data, it can be said that a significant part of the women got married under the age of 18 and formed a structure with many children. It has been determined that almost half of the women have been subjected to violence by their family members, especially their spouses. Suggestions were presented in parallel with the results.

Bu araştırmanın amacı ortaokul öğrencilerinin temel demokratik değerlerine katılım durumlarının tespit edilmesidir. Araştırmada tarama (survey) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda amaçlı örneklem yöntemi kullanılarak Samsun ili Ondokuzmayıs ilçesindeki 227 ortaokul öğrencisine ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma verileri yazarından izin alınarak Temel Demokratik Değerler Ölçeği ile online toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 21 programı yardımıyla T-testi, One-Way ANOVA, Post Hoc-Tukey gibi testler kullanılmıştır. Bulguların analizi ve yorumlanması sonucunda ortaokul öğrencilerin temel demokratik değerlerinin iyi düzeyde olduğu, Aile gelir durumları ve öğrenci cinsiyetleri ile demokratik değerleri arasında herhangi bir ilişkinin olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca sekizinci sınıf öğrencilerinin beş ve yedi sınıf öğrencilerine göre daha demokratik değerler sergiledikleri belirlenmiştir. Farklı bölge ve sınıf seviyelerinde demokratik değerlerin incelenmesi önerilmektedir., The purpose of this research is to determine the participation of secondary school students in the basic democratic values. Survey method was used in the research. In this context, 227 secondary school students in Samsun Ondokuzmayıs district were reached by using the purposeful sampling method. The research data were collected online with the Basic Democratic Values Scale, with the permission of the author. In the analysis of the data, tests such as T-test, One-Way ANOVA, Post Hoc-Tukey were used with the help of SPSS 21 program. As a result of the analysis and interpretation of the findings, it has been determined that the basic democratic values of the secondary school students are at a good level, and there is no relationship between their family income status, student gender and democratic values. In addition, it was determined that the eighth grade students exhibited more democratic values than the fifth and seventh grade students. It is recommended to examine democratic values at different district and class levels.

The aim of this research is to determine the games that parents play with their children, to analyze the reasons why they prefer to play those games and also to analyze to what degree the children playing games with their parents become involved in any crime. The study was conducted with 258 participants using a mixed method. It has also been found out that a great majority of parents prefer to play physical games with their children while a minority of them prefers cognitive games. Children's and parents’ preferences, educational and developmental factors and negative situations play a role in the selection of the games that parents play with their children. Children who play games with their parents generally stay away from getting involved in any crime., Bu araştırmanın amacı ebeveynlerin çocukları ile oynadıkları oyunları belirlemek ve bu oyunları seçme nedenlerini incelemektir. Ayrıca ebeveynleri ile oyun oynayan çocukların suça bulaşma durumunu analiz etmektir. Araştırmada karma yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın nicel boyutunda tarama, nitel boyutunda yüz yüze görüşme yapılmıştır. Araştırma basit rastgele örnekleme yöntemi ile 258 katılımcı ile yapılmıştır. Toplanan veriler Microsoft Excel ve SPSS 17 programı yardımı ile frekans (f), yüzde (%), betimsel ve içerik analizleri kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Ebeveynlerin oyuncaklarla oynamak, futbol oynamak, saklambaç, evcilik, gözmece, beş taş, kovalamaca, bez bebek, ip atlama ve isim şehir gibi oyunları tercih ettikleri belirlenmiştir. Ebeveynlerin büyük çoğunluğunun fiziksel oyunları az bir kısmının da bilişsel-devinsel oyunları tercih ettikleri tespit edilmiştir. Ebeveynlerin çocukları ile oynadıkları oyunları; çocuklarının tercihleri, kendi tercihleri, eğitimsel ve gelişimsel nedenler ve olumsuzluk bildiren nedenlerden dolayı tercih ettikleri tespit edilmiştir. Ebeveynlerin çocuklarıyla oynadıkları oyunları tercih etme nedenleri ile demografik özellikleri arasında anlamlı olmayan bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Genel olarak ebeveynleri ile oyun oynayan çocukların suçtan uzak yaşadığı belirlenmiştir.

Tez konusu bulmak araştırmacılar için her zaman zor bir süreç olmuştur. Eğitim araştırmalarını incelemek, ilgili alanda çalışma yürütmek isteyenlere yol gösterebilir. Bu araştırmada amaç, ülkemizde 2020 yılında fen bilimleri eğitimi alanında yapılan yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerinin incelenmesidir. Bu incelemede; araştırmacıların ve danışmanların özellikleri, tezlerin üretildiği üniversiteler, tez konusu, tez yöntemleri, örneklemi, kullanılan ölçekler ve anahtar kelimeleri gibi çeşitli yönlerden ele alınması hedeflenmektedir. Araştırma kapsamında 2020 yılında fen bilimleri eğitimi alanında 132 yüksek lisans, 25 doktora tezinin tamamlandığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu tezlerin içerik analizi sonucunda; tezlerde çoğunlukla yarı yapılandırılmış/yapılandırılmamış görüşme formları ve akademik başarı testlerinin kullanıldığı belirlenmiştir. Yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerinin çoğunluğunun STEM eğitimi ve kavram eğitimi konuları üzerine yapıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Yükseköğretim Kurulu (YÖK) tez tarama sayfasının araştırmacıların karşılaştırmalı analizler yapabileceği şekilde yenilenmesi önerilmektedir., Finding a thesis topic has always been a difficult process for researchers. Examining educational research can guide those who want to work in the relevant field. The aim of this research is to examine the graduate and doctorate thesis written in 2020 in the field of science education in Turkey. In this review; the characteristics of researchers and consultants, universities where thesis are produced, subjects, methods, sampling, used scales and keywords are aimed to be addressed from various aspects. Within the scope of the research, it was determined that 132 master's and 25 doctoral dissertations were completed in the field of science education in 2020. As a result of the content analysis of these theses; It has been determined that mostly semi-structured / unstructured interview forms and academic achievement tests are used in theses. It has been determined that the majority of master's and doctoral theses are on STEM education and concept education. It is recommended to renew the thesis search page of the Council of Higher Education (CoHE) so that researchers can make comparative analysis.

The aim of this research is to evaluate the achievements of sixth-grade students in interdisciplinary STEM education with STEM rubrics. A mixed research method was used in the research. A homogeneous sample was used in the study. The research was conducted with $6^{th}$ grade students in a public school in the Eastern Anatolia Region in the 2018-2019 academic years. Seventyseven students who participated in the STEM activity in accordance with the voluntary principle participated in the study. Qualitative data were collected with a structured interview form. The table-graphic drawing form was used in collecting quantitative data. In the analysis of the data, descriptive analysis, frequency, and percentage values were used. The findings showed that the majority of participants participating in interdisciplinary STEM education defined the constant velocity movement as the unchanged form along the way. In addition, it was determined that a small number of students were under the misconception of perceiving events such as zero resultant force acting on an object, stopping or accelerating a car as constant velocity motion. It was determined that the participants mostly focused on the car example while defining the constant velocity movement. It has been determined that the participants' ability to create graphics using table data is at a good level. It indicatesthat the use of rubrics in assessment practices in STEM education is an application that can be used in the assessment of student outcomes. Bu araştırmanın amacı disiplinler arası STEM eğitiminde altıncı sınıf öğrencilerinin kazanımlarının STEM rubrikleri ile değerlendirilmesidir. Araştırmada karma araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada benzeşik (homojen) örneklem kullanılmıştır. Araştırma 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında Doğu Anadolu Bölgesindeki bir devlet okulunda 6. sınıf öğrencileri ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmaya gönüllülük ilkesine bağlı olarak STEM etkinliğine katılan 77 öğrenci katılmıştır. Nitel veriler tam yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile toplanmıştır. Nicel verilerin toplanmasında tablo-grafik çizim formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz ile frekans ve yüzde değerleri kullanılmıştır. Bulgulara disiplinler arası STEM eğitimine katılan katılımcıların, büyük bir çoğunluğunun sabit süratli hareketin yol boyunca suretin değişmemesi olarak tanımladıklarını göstermiştir. Ayrıca az sayıda öğrencinin bir cisme etki eden bileşke kuvvetin sıfır olması, bir arabanın durması veya hızlanması gibi olayların da sabit süratli hareket olarak algıladıkları yanılgısında oldukları belirlenmiştir. Katılımcıların sabit süratli hareketi tanımlarken çoğunlukla araba örneği üzerinde durdukları belirlenmiştir. Katılımcıların tablo verilerini kullanarak grafik oluşturma durumlarının iyi düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. STEM eğitiminde değerlendirme uygulamalarında rubriklerin kullanımının öğrenci kazanımlarının değerlendirilmesinde kullanılabilecek bir uygulama olduğunu göstermektedir.

It can be said that individuals' interests-abilities and social changes are effective in their choice of profession. In this study, professions that are likely to be popular in the future in the field of social sciences are examined. This study, based on national and international literature, is a compilation study. It can be said that the profession preferences of the individual have become clear due to important global changes such as pandemic, industry 4.0, immigration, 5G, space studies and education-related reasons that affect the society in the 21st century. Although it is likely that popular professions will turn to the fields of health and digitalization in the future, it is expected that occupational groups that can be evaluated within the social sciences in areas such as education, health, informatics, agriculture, arts, sports and music are also expected to be at the forefront., Bireylerin ilgi-yeteneklerinin ve toplumsal değişimlerin meslek tercihlerinde etkili olduğu söylenebilir. Bu araştırmada sosyal bilimler alanında gelecekte popüler olması muhtemel meslekler incelenmiştir. Ulusal ve ulusal arası literatüre dayanan bu çalışma bir derleme çalışmasıdır. 21. Yüzyılda toplumu etkileyen, pandemi, endüstri 4.0, göç, 5G, uzay çalışmaları gibi önemli küresel değişimler ve eğitimden kaynaklı nedenlerden dolayı bireyin meslek tercihlerinin netleştiği söylenebilir. In this research, the reasons behind why parents do not want to play games with their children were examined. The study aims to identify the parents who do not play with their children and determine why not playing games. A purposeful sampling method was preferred in this qualitative research study. For participant features, the form of determining the participatory demographic structure was used. The qualitative data, the reasons for not playing games were asked by face-to-face interview. The data obtained were interpreted through descriptive and content analysis. The research was carried out with parents who participated voluntarily in the September-December 2019 period. In the study, 142 participants, including 34 men and 108 women, were reached. It was determined that the participants had at least one child and a maximum of 13 children. It was determined that most participants were housewives and were especially interested in their children in the evening. It was also determined that the majority of the participants did not have any educational diplomas. For the parents in general; It was found that there are reasons classified in five categories: working or not being able to spare time, reluctance and not knowing, child age, traditions, and crowded family structure. According to this; It was determined that the majority of the participants did not play games with their children for reasons such as work, occupation and inability to spare time. Except this; It was determined that parents do not want to play games due to not knowing games, disliking play, the thought that children's ages are not suitable for the game, the pressure from the neighborhood, other people's thoughts, traditional reasons due to negative examples from their ancestors and crowded family structure. In line with the results, suggestions were made., Bu araştırmada ebeveynlerin çocukları ile oyun oynamama nedenleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın amacı çocukları ile oyun oynamayan ebeveynleri tespit etmek ve oyun oynamama nedenlerini belirlemektir. Nitel araştırmanın yapıldığı bu çalışmada amaçlı örneklem yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Katılımcı özellikleri için demografik yapısını belirleme formu kullanılmıştır. Nitel veriler yüz yüze görüşme yaparak oyun oynamama nedenleri sorgulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler betimsel ve içerik analizleri ile yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma 2019 yılı Eylül-Aralık sürecinde gönüllü katılan ebeveynler ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, 34 erkek, 108 kadın olmak üzere 142 katılımcıya ulaşılmıştır. Katılımcıların en az 1 çocuk en fazla 13 çocuk sahibi oldukları belirlenmiştir. Katılımcıların büyük çoğunluğunun ev hanımı oldukları ve özellikle akşam vakitleri çocukları ile ilgilendikleri belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca katılımcıların çoğunluğunun herhangi bir eğitim diplomasına sahip olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Genel olarak ebeveynlerin; çalışıyor olma veya zaman ayıramama, isteksizlik ve bilmiyor olma, çocuk yaşından dolayı, geleneklerden dolayı ve kalabalık aile yapısı gibi beş kategoride sınıflandırılan nedenlerinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Buna göre; katılımcıların büyük çoğunluğunun iş, güç ve zaman ayıramama gibi nedenlerden dolayı çocukları ile oyun oynamadıkları belirlenmiştir. Bunun dışında; ebeveynlerin oyun bilmeme, hoşlanmama, istek duymama, çocukların yaşlarının oyuna uygun olmadığı düşüncesi, mahalle baskısı, başka insanların düşüncesi, atalarından gelen olumsuz örneklerden kaynaklı geleneksel nedenler ve kalabalık aile yapısından dolayı oyun oynamadıkları tespit edilmiştir. Sonuçların doğrultusunda önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Çalışmanın amacı farklı illerdeki ortaokul yedinci sınıf öğrencilerinin küresel ısınmaya yönelik metafor ve çizimlerinin incelenmesidir. Çalışma nitel yöntemlerden olgubilim deseni ile yapılmıştır. Çalışma Muş (29) ve Ankara (25) illerindeki devlet okullarından 54 gönüllü katılımcı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Verilerin toplanmasında metafor-çizim formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde nitel analizlerden betimsel ve içerik analizleri yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre; küresel ısınmaya yönelik en çok tekrar edilen metaforların ateş, soba ve cehennem olduğu belirlenmiştir. Katılımcıların çoğunluğunun küresel ısınmayı ısıtan ve yakan olarak gördükleri için bu metaforları belirledikleri tespit edilmiştir. Muş ilindeki öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğunun küresel ısınmayı ısıtan ve yakan olarak algıladıkları, Ankara ilindeki öğrencilerin ise küresel ısınmayı ısıtan ve yakan, bozan ve eriten, öldüren ve dengesiz olarak algıladıkları tespit edilmiştir.Katılımcıların küresel ısınma ile ilgili çizimlerinde en çok Dünya, Güneş, buz, kutup ayısı ve su gibi kavramlara vurgu yaptıkları belirlenmiştir. İller bazında ele alındığında aynı metaforların olduğu gibi farklı metaforların da olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Fakat en çok tekrar eden metaforların aynı olduğu geri kalanlarınınise benzer olduğu tespit edilmiştir. The aim of this study is to investigate the metaphors and drawings of the seventh grade students in different provinces for global warming. The study was conducted with a phenomenological design, one of the qualitative methods. The study was conducted with 54 participants from public schools in Muş (29) and Ankara (25) provinces. The metaphor-drawing form was used to collect the data. In the analysis ofthe data, descriptive and content analyzes were conducted from qualitative analysis. According to the findings; the most repeated metaphors for global warming were determined as fire, stove and hell. It was found that the majority of the participants identified these metaphors as they perceived global warming as heating and burning. It was found that the majority of the students in Muş perceived global warming as heating and burning, while the students in Ankara perceived global warming as heating and burning, disrupting and melting, killing and unbalanced. It was determined that the participants mostly emphasized concepts like Earth, Sun, Ice, Polar Bear and Water in their drawings about global warming. When the provinces are considered, it is understood that there are different metaphors as well as the same metaphors. However, the most repeated metaphors were the same and the rest were similar.

Filmler her türlü mesaj veya bilgiyi aktarmak için çok etkin kullanılan araçlar haline gelmiştir. Özellikle eğitimsel değer taşıyan filmler öğrenme ortamlarında rahatlıkla kullanılabilmektedir. Özellikle ulaşılması zor olan ve direkt elde edilemeyen kavramların eğitiminde rahatlıkla kullanılmaktadır. Uzay ve ötesi ile ilgili çekilen belgesel filmler uzay, yıldızlar, gezegenler ve daha birçok kavramının öğretiminde görsel ve işitsel rol oynamaktadırlar. Vahşi veya doğal ortamdaki bir canlının yaşam ortamı, yaşam süreci, doğumu, büyümesi, olumu, beslenmesi gibi durumların öğrenilmesinde görsellik ve işitsel durumun aynı anda verilmesinin öğrenme için önemi asla göz ardı edilemez. Bu araştırmanın temel amacı filmle öğrenme ve öğretme yönteminin aşamaları ve uygulama örneği sunmaktır. Bu amaç kapsamında; (1) Filmle öğrenme ve öğretme yöntemi nedir? ve (2) Bir filmin filmle öğrenme ve öğretme yöntemine göre hazırlanması ve sunulması nasıldır? sorularının cevapları aranmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma ilkelerine uygun olarak doküman incelemesi yapılmıştır. Araştırmada yüzüncü yıl üniversitesi eğitim fakültesi biyoloji eğitimi bölümü film arşivinden 1000’e yakın belgesel ve bilimsel film kullanılmıştır. Filmler materyal hazırlama ilkeleri ve kavramların eğitimsel önemine göre izlenmiştir. Gerekli sanal bilgisayar programları kullanılarak hazırlanmıştır. Filmler birden fazla şekilde izlenmiştir. Filmin özeti çıkartılmıştır. Film içerisinde eğitimsel önemi olan kavramlar iki akademisyen tarafından belirlenmiştir. Sanal programlar kullanılarak filmin web sayfası, özet ve kavramlarına ait linkler atılmıştır. Ayrıca kavramların web sayfaları ve kavram ağı hazırlanmıştır. Öğrenen birey film ve ilgili kavramlarına ayrıca filme yönelik sorulan soruların cevaplarına tek adres üzerinden ulaşabilmektedir. Araştırmanın sonucunda sanal bilgisayar programları kullanarak filmle öğrenme ve öğretme yönteminin kullanışlığı ve gerekliliği belirlenmiştir. Bu gereklilik konusunda literatürde çalışmalar mevcut olup örneklik teşkil etmesi açısında sanal bilgisayar programların kullanımlarına yer verilmiştir. It is easily used in education of concepts which are difficult to reach and cannot be obtained directly. Documentary films about space and beyond play a visual and auditory role in teaching the concepts of space, stars, planets and many more. The importance of giving visual and auditory status at the same time can never be ignored in learning the situations such as living environment, life process, birth, growth, death, nutrition of a living creature in wild or natural environment. The main purpose of this research is to present the stages of film learning and teaching method and application examples. For this purpose; (1) What is the method of film learning and teaching? and (2) How is a film prepared and presented according to the method of teaching and learning with film? were searched for answers. In the study, document analysis was conducted in accordance with the qualitative research principles. Nearly 1000 documentaries and scientific films from the film archive of the faculty of education of the Yüzüncü Yıl university were used in the research. The films were watched according to the material preparation principles and the educational importance of the concepts. The material prepared using the necessary virtual computer programs. As a result of the research, the usefulness and necessity of teaching and learning by using virtual computer programs were determined. There are studies in the literature about this requirement and the use of virtual computer programs is given as an example. Fen bilimleri içerisinde öğrencilerin en erken tanıştıkları konulardan biri vücudumuzdaki organlardır. Doğumundan itibaren duyu organlarını, sonrasında kalp, mide, bağırsaklar, karaciğer gibi organları öğrenirler. Nitekim okul öğrenimi boyunca ilgili zamanlarda vücudumuzdaki sistemler veya organlar olarak karşılarına çıkmakta ve öğrenmeler pekişmektedir. Bu araştırmada temel amaç ortaokul beşinci sınıf öğrencilerinin vücudumuzdaki organları tanıma durumlarının belirlenmesidir. Nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama yöntemi ve amaçsal örnekleme kullanılmıştır. Araştırma 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim sezonunda Doğu Anadolu Bölgesindeki bir devlet okulunda 5. sınıf öğrencileri ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya gönüllülük ilkesine bağlı olarak toplamda 62 öğrenci katılmıştır.Verilerin toplanması amacı ile araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen bulmaca ve şekil-kavram tamamlama formları kullanılmıştır. Bulmaca formu EclipseCrossword programı kullanılarak hazırlanmıştır. Bu formda vücudumuzdaki temel organların görevlerinden yola çıkarak bulunması beklenen 12 kavram sorgulanmaktadır. Şekil-kavram tamamlama formunda ise vücudumuza ait bir şekil verilmiş ve şekil üzerinde 12 organ işaretlenmiştir. Bu organların 5 tanesinin isimleri yazılmışken 7 tanesinin isimlerinin yazılması istenmiştir. Çalışmada kullanılan ölçme araçlarının verileri Microsoft Excel programının yardımıyla analiz edilmiştir. Analizde frekans ve yüzde değerleri gibi teknikler kullanılmıştır. Analizler sonucunda; öğrencilerin vücudumuzdaki organlar konusundaki kavram bilgisinin çok iyi düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin vücudumuzdaki organlar konusundaki kavramları verilen şekil üzerinde gösterme durumlarının orta düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin organlara yönelik sahip oldukları bilgileri kullanamadıkları tespit edilmiştir. From the birth of the sensory organs, then the heart, stomach, intestines, organs such as liver learn. As a matter of fact, during school education, they appear as systems or organs in our bodies at relevant times and their learning is reinforced. The main purpose of this study is to determine the fifth grade students' recognition of organs in our body. Screening method and purposive sampling method were used. The research was conducted with 5th grade students at a public school in the Eastern Anatolia Region in the 2018-2019 academic years. A total of 62 students participated in the study based on the principle of volunteering. The puzzle and shape-concept completion forms developed by the researchers were used to collect the data. The puzzle form was prepared using the EclipseCrossword program. In this form, 12 concepts that are expected to be found based on the duties of the basic organs in our body are questioned. In the form-concept completion form, a shape of our body is given and 12 organs are marked on the figure. While the names of 5 of these organs were written, the names of 7 were asked to be written. The data of the measurement tools used in the study were analyzed with the help of Microsoft Excel program. Techniques such as frequency and percentage values were used in the analysis. As a result of analysis; It is determined that students' conceptual knowledge about organs in our body is very good. It was determined that the students' showing the concepts about the organs in our body on the given figure is in the middle level. It was determined that the students could not use the information they had about organs. The aim of this study is to determine the perceptions of the students in the child development program about the concepts of “child” and “child development” by means of metaphors. A qualitative research method phenomenology pattern was used in the study. 104 students participated voluntarily with a non-random sampling method. A semi-structured interview form was used to collect data. Descriptive and content analyzes were preferred for data analysis. As a result of the interpretation of the analysis; 51 different metaphors for the concept of children and the first three most frequently metaphors were found to be play dough, empty plates, and dough. It was found that these metaphors were given due to their characteristics such as being able to teach, take shape, give happiness, receive attention and love and reflect what they have learned. It was determined that 71 different metaphors for the concept of child development and the first three most frequently metaphors were a tree, mother and life. It was found that these metaphors were given because of their characteristics such as giving education, teaching, shaping, giving direction and meeting the needs. In general, It was determined that the second-grade students consider that the "child" can be educated and the first-grade students regarded as a source of happiness. In addition, it was found that a significant number of first and second-year students considered child development as informative. In line with the results, recommendations were made., Çalışmanın amacı çocuk gelişimi programında okuyan öğrencilerin “çocuk” ve “çocuk gelişimi” kavramlarına yönelik algılarını metaforlar yolu ile belirlenmesidir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi olgubilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Seçkisiz olmayan örnekleme yöntemi ile 104 öğrenci gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasında yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel ve içerik analizleri tercih edilmiştir. Analizlerin yorumlanması sonucunda; çocuk kavramına yönelik 51 farklı metafor ve en çok tekrarlanan ilk üç metaforun oyun hamuru, boş levha ve hamur olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu metaforlar öğretilebilen, şekil alabilen, mutluluk veren, ilgi görmesi ve sevgi alması gereken, öğrendiklerini yansıtabilen gibi özelliklerinden dolayı verildiği tespit edilmiştir. Çocuk gelişimi kavramına yönelik 71 farklı metafor ve en çok tekrarlanan ilk üç metaforun ağaç, anne ve hayat olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu metaforların eğitim vermesi, öğretmesi, şekil vermesi, yön vermesi ve ihtiyaçları karşılaması gibi özelliklerinden dolayı verildiği tespit edilmiştir. Genel olarak ikinci sınıfların çocuğu eğitilebilir birinci sınıfların ise mutluluk kaynağı olarak gördükleri belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca birinci ve ikinci sınıf öğrencilerinin önemli bir bölümünün çocuk gelişimini bilgi verici olarak gördükleri tespit edilmiştir. Sonuçların paralelinde öneriler belirtilmiştir.

The main purpose of this research is todetermine the effect of STEM roles on the solution of daily life problems andacademic achievement. Mixed method was used in the study. An experimental studywas conducted in the quantitative dimension of the research, while a fullystructured STEM activity form was used in the qualitative dimension. 38 peopleparticipated in the study by analogue sampling method. STEM roles brochure,STEM roles activity form and academic achievement test were used in theresearch. The data of the measurement tools used in the study were analyzedwith the help of Microsoft Excel program and SPSS. Descriptive and contentanalyzes and techniques such as Mann-Whitney U Test and percentage values wereused. It was determined that STEM disciplines and STEM roles had a significanteffect on the solution of daily life problems. It was found that participantslifted the stone in the middle of the field with a lever which was section(meters) and removed the elephant using pulley, depending on the number ofropes. It was determined that the participants lifted a lot of load by applyingless force. Furthermore, it was determined that STEM roles did not have anyeffect on increasing academic achievement according to the current curriculum.In line with these results, suggestions were presented.

Sanal materyal, hızla ilerleyen teknolojik gelişmelere paralel olarak kavram eğitimine yönelik ortaya çıkmıştır. Ulaşımı zor, elde edilemeyen veya tehlike arz eden kavramların öğretiminde kullanılan dijital materyallerdir. Bu araştırmanın temel amacı sanal materyal geliştirmede kullanılabilecek, en çok tercih edilen arka plan rengi, yazı rengi ve yazı puntosunu belirlemektir. Araştırmada karma yöntem tercih edilmiştir. Yöntemin nicel kısmında kesitsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Yöntemin nitel kısmında görüşme yapılmıştır. Araştırmada rastgele örneklem yöntemi kullanılarak 206 gönüllü öğrenci ile veriler toplanmıştır. Araştırma Tekirdağ ili Marmaraereğlisi ilçesindeki bir devlet ortaokulunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca beş öğrenci ile yüz yüze görüşme yapılmıştır. Nicel veriler, iki aşamada uygulanan anket ile toplanmıştır. Nitel veriler ise görüşme kayıtları ile elde edilmiştir. Tüm verilerin analizinde Microsoft Office Excel paket programı kullanılmıştır. Nicel verileri yüzde (%) ve frekans (f) değerleri ile nitel veriler ise içerik analizi ile yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın ön çalışmasında en çok tercih edilen ilk üç arka plan rengi, yazı rengi ve yazı puntosu kombinasyonuna göre 18 adet örnek sanal materyal sayfası hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan bu sayfalar teker teker katılımcılara gösterilmiş ve ellerindeki anketi sayfaya göre doldurmaları istenmiştir. Katılımcıların anket değerlerine göre 9 numara ile hazırlanmış olan sayfa (f:77) % 47.23 oranla en çok tercih edilen sayfa uyumu olarak belirlenmiştir. Buna göre en çok tercih edilen sanal materyal web sayfası, arka plan rengi koyu kayrak grisi, yazı rengi sarı ve yazı puntosu 24 olarak belirlenmiştir. Görüşme verilerinin analizi sonucu katılımcılara gösterilen örnek sayfalar içerisinde koyu kayrak renginin sarı renkli yazılar ile uyum gösterdiği ve 24 puntonun ideal yazı büyüklüğü olduğu belirlenmiştir. Virtual materials used in the teaching of concepts that are difficult to reach, unacceptable or dangerous. The main purpose of this research is to determine the most preferred background color, text color and font size which can be used in virtual material development. Mixed method was preferred in the study. In the quantitative part of the method, cross-sectional scanning model was used. The qualitative part of the method was interviewed. The data were collected by using 206 randomized students using random sampling method. The study was carried out in a state secondary school in the Marmaraereğlisi district of Tekirdağ province. In addition, five students were interviewed face to face. Quantitative data were collected by a questionnaire applied in two stages. Qualitative data were obtained through interview records. Microsoft Office Excel package program was used to analyze all data. Quantitative data was interpreted by percentage (%) and frequency (f) values and qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis. In the preliminary study, 18 sample virtual material pages were prepared according to the three most preferred background colors, text color and font size. These pages were shown to the participant’s one by one and were asked to fill in the questionnaire according to the page. According to the questionnaires of the participants, the page prepared with 9 numbers was determined as the most preferred page fit with (f: 77) 47.23%. According to this, the most preferred virtual material web page, background color is dark slate gray, text color is yellow and font size is set to 24. As a result of the analysis of the interview data, it was determined that the color of the slate was consistent with the yellow text in the sample pages shown to the participants and that the 24 font size was the ideal font size. It is important to determine the attitude which is an indicator of emotions for a lesson. In particular, the development of the scale to be used to determine the attitude of the parents towards the science lesson will contribute to the field. The aim of this study is to develop a scale for use in determining attitudes of the parents towards the science lesson. The scales were applied to 389 parents of the 6th, 7th and 8th grades students. SPSS and LISREL programs were used to analyze the data. The reliability values and exploratory factor analyzes of the scales were calculated with the help of SPSS program. Cronbach Alpha value, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin and Bartlett tests were performed at this stage. Afterwards, confirmatory factor analysis was performed with the help of LISREL program and compliance indices of the scales were determined. Then, independent sample T-Test and one-way ANOVA tests were used to answer the research questions. As a result of analyzes, the reliability and exploratory factor analysis of the scale were all acceptable. In addition, the confirmatory factor analysis pattern table values are acceptable but some of the compliance indices are below the acceptable values. As a result, a scale was developed to determine the attitudes of the parents towards the science lesson. According to the average of the attitude scores, it was discovered that the attitudes of the parents towards the science lesson were at a good level. In addition, there was no relationship between the demographic structure of parents and their attitudes towards the science lesson.
