The underwater laser polarization detection technology integrates the polarization characteristics of light into the detection and identification of underwater targets. Addressing the challenge of poor accuracy in identifying targets in strong underwater scattering environments, this article proposes an overall scheme for a laser polarization underwater detection device that suppresses scatter using polarized pulse signals. By overcoming key technological barriers in the design of polarization-preserving optical detection systems and utilizing the method of differential amplitude to measure polarization, a laser polarization underwater detection device was developed and underwater polarization detection experiments were conducted, achieving precise detection of underwater targets. The results indicate that the underwater detection device we designed has a root mean square error of less than 5.7% to detect the polarization of the target, demonstrating the accuracy and precision of the underwater detection device. Direct current (DC) magnetometry data obtained for polycrystalline Mg3V4(PO4)6 were fitted by various magnetic models based on angular momentum basis states. As a result, single‐ion anisotropy of the magnetic V 3+ ions could be identified to decisively determine the magnetic properties of Mg3V4(PO4)6 and not antiferromagnetic exchange interaction between V ions as supposed in literature. It could be demonstrated analytically, by utilization of the Van Vleck equation, that also single‐ion anisotropy can lead to a linear and origin shifted inverse susceptibility curve in the high temperature region. The Weiss constant obtained from a Curie‐Weiss fit to such a susceptibility curve might falsely be ascribed to antiferromagnetic exchange interactions if additional low temperature magnetic properties are not considered for verification. Diagnosing the role of internal variability over recent decades is critically important for both model validation and projections of future warming. Recent research suggests that for 1980–2022 internal variability manifested as Global Cooling and Arctic Warming (i‐GCAW), leading to enhanced Arctic Amplification (AA), and suppressed global warming over this period. Here we show that such an i‐GCAW is rare in CMIP6 large ensembles, but simulations that do produce similar i‐GCAW exhibit a unique and robust internally driven global surface air temperature (SAT) trend pattern. This unique SAT trend pattern features enhanced warming in the Barents and Kara Sea and cooling in the Tropical Eastern Pacific and Southern Ocean. Given that these features are imprinted in the observed record over recent decades, this work suggests that internal variability makes a crucial contribution to the discrepancy between observations and model‐simulated forced SAT trend patterns. Plain Language Summary: When comparing model simulations of Earth's recent warming to real‐world observations, differences may arise from several factors. Two important factors are the model errors in the simulated response to increased greenhouse gases, and natural fluctuations within the climate system that produced discrepancies between observations and models. Thus, quantifying the role of these natural fluctuations is important for the assessment of model‐observation differences. Previous studies have shown that natural climate variability has depressed global warming and enhanced Arctic warming. By compositing the multi‐decadal trend patterns from CMIP6 simulations in which natural variability warms the Arctic but has a global cooling effect, we find that the majority of these model simulations also produce enhanced warming in the Barents and Kara Seas and cooling in the Tropical Eastern Pacific and Southern Ocean due to natural variability. Since these are the exact features imprinted on observed surface temperature changes over 1980–2022, our work suggests that natural variability is an important component of several noteworthy differences between models and observations. Ligand‐protected heterometallic nanoclusters in contrast to homo‐metal counterparts show more broad applications due to the synergistic effect of hetero‐metals but their controllable syntheses remain a challenge. Among heterometallic nanoclusters, monovalent Ag‐Cu compounds are rarely explored due to much difference of Ag(I) and Cu(I) such as atom radius, coordination habits, and redox potential. Encouraged by copper‐catalyzed alkyne‐azide cycloaddition (CuAAC) reaction, comproportionation reaction of Cu(II)X2 and Cu(0) in the presence of (PhC≡CAg)n complex and molybdate generated a core‐shell peanut‐shaped 66‐nuclear Ag(I)‐Cu(I) heterometallic nanocluster, [(Mo4O16)2@Cu12Ag54(PhC≡C)50] (referred to as Ag54Cu12). The structure and composition of Ag‐Cu heterometallic nanocluster are fully characterized. X‐ray single crystal diffraction reveals that Ag54Cu12 has a peanut‐shaped silver(I)/copper(I) heterometallic nanocage protected by fifty phenylacetylene ligands in µ3–modes and encapsulated two mutually twisted tetramolybdates. Heterometallic nanocage contains a 54‐Ag‐atom outer ellipsoid silver cage decorated by 12 copper inside wall. Nanosized Ag54Cu12 is a n‐type narrow‐band‐gap semiconductor with a good photocurrent response. Preliminary experiments demonstrates that Ag54Cu12 itself and activated carbon supported Ag54Cu12/C are effective catalysts for 1,3‐dipole cycloaddition between alkynes and azides at ambient conditions. The work provides not only a new synthetic route toward Ag(I)‐Cu(I) nanoclusters but also an important heterometallic intermediate in CuAAC catalytic reaction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

We synthesized some SWCNTs films under different magnetic fields and temperatures in a magnetic field-assisted FC-CVD and obtained Raman spectra of the films. By analyzing the Raman spectra, it was concluded that the SWCNTs films had defects, and the relative content of m-SWCNTs in the SWCNTs films was obtained. The trajectory of m-SWCNTs was obtained by analyzing the motion behavior of m-SWCNTs flow in the field-assisted system, and a model was built to describe the relationship between the relative content of m-SWCNTs and magnetic fields. The axial magnetic susceptibility of m-SWCNTs as a parameter was obtained by fitting the experimental results and the model. This is the first time that the axial magnetic susceptibility of m-SWCNTs has been obtained. The result obtained at 1273 K is at least two orders of magnitude greater than the magnetic susceptibilities and anisotropies of purified m-SWCNTs at 300 K, indicating that the defects increase the Curie temperature and Curie constant of m-SWCNTs. This is consistent with the spin-polarized density functional theory, which predicts that m-SWCNTs with vacancies have local magnetic moments around the vacancies and exhibit ferro- or ferrimagnetism. Adriamycin (ADR) is a frequently employed chemotherapeutic agent for the management of breast cancer. Nevertheless, multidrug resistance (MDR) can impair its therapeutic efficacy in breast cancer. MDR is characterized by increased expression of the P‐glycoprotein (P‐gp) efflux pump, up‐regulation of anti‐apoptotic proteins, and downregulation of pro‐apoptotic proteins. Consequently, inhibition of ATP‐binding cassette (ABC) transporter proteins has been deemed the most efficacious approach to overcome MDR. In this study, we used MTT (3‐[4,5‐dimethylthiazol‐2‐yl]‐2,5 diphenyl tetrazolium bromide), Western blots, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and constructed xenograft tumors to investigate whether ginsenoside Rg3‐near‐infrared photothermal (Rg3‐NIR) combination reversed multidrug resistance in MCF‐7/ADR breast cancer. In vivo and in vitro experiments, the results showed that Rg3‐NIR co‐treatment was effective in inducing the apoptosis of MCF‐7/ADR breast cancer cells. This was achieved by reversing the expression of drug resistance‐associated proteins, while also inhibiting cell proliferation, migration, and epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) processes via attenuation of the phosphatidylinositol 3‐kinase (PI3K)/protein kinase B (AKT) signaling pathway transduction. Ginsenoside Rg3 combined with near‐infrared photothermal therapy (NIR) effectively reverses multidrug resistance in breast cancer MCF‐7/ADR cells, providing a new therapeutic strategy for breast cancer drug resistance. Strong metal‐support interaction (SMSI) plays a critical role in enhancing the catalytic performance of electrocatalysts. Currently, effective approaches to enhance the SMSI effect in supported electrocatalysts still need to be developed, and a comprehensive atomic‐level understanding of the underlying reaction mechanisms remains unclear. In this study, a novel facet‐junction strategy is proposed to enhance the SMSI between the loaded Ru atoms and the Co3O4 support. By modulating the ratio of exposed facet for (111)/(100) crystal plane in Co3O4, the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) performance can be dramatically enhanced by 560% and can achieve a Pt‐like HER activity with the overpotential of 45 mV. Detailed analysis with atomic‐resolution integrated differential phase contrast (iDPC)‐scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM), atomic‐resolution high angle annular dark field (HADDF)‐STEM, and electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) further proved that with proper (111)/(100) crystal plane ratio, the intensified charge distribution near the facet‐junction region would modify the electronic structure around the active sites. TB18 titanium alloy is a near-β-titanium alloy with high strength and good plasticity. However, its microstructure and mechanical properties are affected by its deformation and heat treatment parameters. The effects of deformation pass number, deformation temperature, and heat treatment temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of TB18 titanium alloy were conducted by free forging experiments. The results show that the deformation pass had limited effect on the mechanical properties of the sample after heat treatment. Three types of microstructures were obtained after heat treatment: equiaxed or needle-like primary α (αp) + lenticular secondary α (αs), long or short rod-like αp + lenticular αs, and Widmannstatten α (αWGB) + grain boundary α (αGB) + lenticular αs. The equiaxed or needlelike αp + lenticular αs microstructure had the optimal elongation and reduction of area, owing to the transgranular fracture caused by the nucleation and propagation of cracks in the αp phase. The long or short rodlike αp + lenticular αs microstructure had the optimal tensile and yield strengths, which was ascribed to the interface strengthening caused by the dispersed αs phase. The αWGB + αGB + lenticular αs microstructure had the optimal fracture and impact toughness values, which was attributed to the deflection of cracks at crossed grain boundaries during propagation, increasing the crack path length and consuming more energy. The best comprehensive mechanical properties were obtained when deformed in the (α + β) two-phase or β-single-phase regions plus heat treatment in the β-single-phase region. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Due to the superior catalytic activity and efficient utilization of noble metals, nanocatalysts are extensively used in the modern industrial production of chemicals. The surface structures of these materials are significantly influenced by reactive adsorbates, leading to dynamic behavior under experimental conditions. The dynamic nature poses significant challenges in studying the structure–activity relations of catalysts. Herein, we unveil an anomalous entropic effect on catalysis via surface pre‐melting of nanoclusters through machine learning accelerated molecular dynamics and free energy calculation. We find that due to the pre‐melting of shell atoms, there exists a non‐linear variation in the catalytic activity of the nanoclusters with temperature. Consequently, two notable changes in catalyst activity occur at the respective temperatures of melting for the shell and core atoms. We further study the nanoclusters with surface point defects, i.e. vacancy and ad‐atom, and observe significant decrease in the surface melting temperatures of the nanoclusters, enabling the reaction to take place under more favorable and milder conditions. A growing number of publications have shown that resveratrol has anticancer effects and has become a hotspot in cancer research. The purpose of this study is to analyze the academic results and research trends in resveratrol within the field of anticancer and to predict the future trends in this field. We conducted a literature search for resveratrol in anticancer research from 2003 to 2022 using the Science Citation Index Expanded of the Web of Science Core Collection. The visualization software was used to perform the bibliometric analysis. A total of 1463 publications from 2003 to 2022 were retrieved. China had the highest number of publications. Taipei Medical University became the research institution with the largest number of publications worldwide. The journals with the highest output and co‐citation frequency were Molecules and Cancer Research. Levenson, Anait S and Jaeger, Walter published the largest number of papers. Jang, MS was the most co‐cited author. Timeline View shows trends and relationship between research topics over time and suggests that the emerging frontier of resveratrol in anticancer may be "resveratrol induces apoptosis." As more and more evidence shows the important role of resveratrol in anticancer, further research on its mechanisms and target discovery may become a major direction for future research. The bibliometric analysis findings of this study will significantly contribute to scholars' comprehensive understanding of the anticancer effects and mechanisms of action of resveratrol, aiding in delineating research hotspots and frontier directions within this field, thereby providing guidance for future investigations. Simple Summary: In this research, we established inbred families of Fenneropenaeus chinensis with an inbreeding coefficient of 0.25, and studied how inbreeding depression affects the larval development. We examined gene frequency changes in two developmental stages through sequencing. The results showed significant inbreeding depression in larval survival rates during hatching and two major developmental stages, ranging from 24.36% to 45.28%. Sequencing at these stages revealed deviations from Mendelian segregation, with homozygote deficiency and heterozygote excess being the primary selection types. The elimination during the larval stage resulted in more heterozygotes being retained and increased the population's heterozygosity. These findings indicate the presence of large amount of harmful recessive alleles in the Chinese shrimp genome and their potential criteria for elimination. The study provide valuable insights into the mechanisms of inbreeding depression in marine animals and provides guidance for shrimp population breeding strategies. Marine animals possess genomes of considerable complexity and heterozygosity. Their unique reproductive system, characterized by high fecundity and substantial early mortality rates, increases the risk of inbreeding, potentially leading to severe inbreeding depression during various larval developmental stages. In this study, we established a set of inbred families of Fenneropenaeus chinensis, with an inbreeding coefficient of 0.25, and investigated elimination patterns and the manifestations of inbreeding depression during major larval developmental stages. Reduced-representation genome sequencing was utilized to explore the genotype frequency characteristics across two typical elimination stages. The results revealed notable mortality in hatching and metamorphosis into mysis and post-larvae stages. Inbreeding depression was also evident during these developmental stages, with depression rates of 24.36%, 29.23%, and 45.28%. Segregation analysis of SNPs indicated an important role of gametic selection before hatching, accounting for 45.95% of deviation in the zoea stage. During the zygotic selection phase of larval development, homozygote deficiency and heterozygote excess were the main selection types. Summation of the two types explained 82.31% and 89.91% of zygotic selection in the mysis and post-larvae stage, respectively. The overall distortion ratio decreased from 22.37% to 12.86% in the late developmental stage. A total of 783 loci were identified through selective sweep analysis. We also found the types of distortion at the same locus could change after the post-larvae stage. The predominant shifts included a transition of gametic selection toward normal segregation and other forms of distortion to heterozygous excess. This may be attributed to high-intensity selection on deleterious alleles and genetic hitchhiking effects. Following larval elimination, a greater proportion of heterozygous individuals were preserved. We detected an increase in genetic diversity parameters such as expected heterozygosity, observed heterozygosity, and polymorphic information content in the post-larvae stage. These findings suggest the presence of numerous recessive deleterious alleles and their linkage and suggest a major role of the partial dominance hypothesis. Hollow‐core fiber (HCF), in which >99.99% of the light is guided in a central air (or vacuum) filled core, is a radically new fiber technology offering the potential to overcome the nonlinear limits associated with the delivery of high‐brightness laser pulses over long distances in conventional solid‐core fiber. Overcoming these limits is particularly challenging at visible wavelengths where the core sizes of single‐mode fibers (SMFs) are reduced. In this work, the delivery of near‐diffraction‐limited, kilowatt‐peak‐power, sub‐nanosecond laser pulses in the green wavelength range over hundred‐meter scale lengths of a hollow‐core anti‐resonant fiber (HC‐ARF) which offers broadband low‐loss guidance in the visible is experimentally demonstrated. Substantially reduced nonlinearity‐induced spectral broadening is observed relative to silica‐core SMF. The simulation further confirms that the broadening observed (in the HC‐ARF) is entirely due to the interaction of the light with the air in the core and thus can effectively be eliminated by evacuating the fiber. Moreover, access to lower‐loss is noted, and visible guiding HC‐ARFs (that are now becoming available) will improve the throughput efficiency and extend power delivery to kilometer distance scales. For a flexible wing system, two different exosystems are used to generate unknown references and output disturbances, respectively. The wing system is further perturbed by unknown distributed and boundary disturbances that have the same frequencies to the references and output disturbances. This article proposes two robust control methodologies to address the robust output regulation of the wing. At first, the observer based output feedback controls are designed based on state feedback controls and the following observers: (1) two exosystem observers based on tracking errors; (2) two exosystem observers addressing the uncertainties of output disturbances; (3) the PDE observer estimating the wing states. For the closed‐loop system, the tracking errors are proved to be exponentially convergent toward zero. Let the output disturbances be addressed through two adaption laws, not the observers in the above item (2), which together with other two exosystem observers and the PDE observer, gives observer based adaptive controls. From both cases, we obtain that the exosystem observers based on the tracking errors are necessary for the robust output regulation. By comparison, the former robust controls have a lower dimension and concise structure. Simulation examples have been provided to show the effectiveness of the robust controls. The petrogenesis of basaltic arc lavas with heavy Mo isotopic compositions is controversial. Given that oceanic crust preferentially loses isotopically heavy Mo during subduction at forearc depth and the remaining Mo is isotopically light and locked in rutile, fluids derived from such crust at subarc depth cannot account for the heavy Mo isotopic compositions of basaltic arc lavas. Serpentinites can contain substantial Mo and volatiles and are a potential source of isotopically heavy Mo in basaltic arc lavas. However, the Mo isotopic composition of serpentinites and the Mo isotope behavior during serpentinite dehydration are poorly constrained. Here, we present Mo contents and isotope data for serpentinites from the South Sandwich Trench-Fracture Zone intersection, and deserpentinized peridotites and high-pressure meta-serpentinite veins from the western-central Alps and Betic Cordillera, Spain. Most of these samples have heavy Mo isotopic compositions (δ98/95Mo NIST 3134 , ranging from −0.26 ‰ to 1.84 ‰) with low Ce/Mo (0.10–23.98) and Ce/Pb (0.17–3.59) ratios, which are distinct from the compositions of eclogite-facies metabasalts and metapelites. In addition, no systematic variations in Mo contents and Mo isotopic compositions occur for the studied samples, indicating limited Mo isotope fractionation during serpentinite dehydration. The above results suggest that serpentinites and their derived fluids at subarc depths can serve as the main isotopically heavy Mo sources for basaltic arc lavas. The Mo isotope data with Ce/Mo and Ce/Pb systematics suggest that serpentinite-derived fluids or melting of serpentinite diapirs at subarc depths can explain the heavy Mo isotopic compositions of basaltic arc lavas. Furthermore, recycled oceanic slab (oceanic crust + serpentinized mantle) would has limited influence on the Mo systematics of the mantle, which explains why the mantle has maintained a nearly constant Mo isotopic composition since 3.5 Ga. Polyimide (PI) film have been synthesized and used extensively in energy transmission, wind power generation, new energy vehicles, lidar, and high-power weapons, et al. Nevertheless, it is still challenge to further improve the breakdown strength and dielectric constant of PI film. After the powders of Al0.5xNb0.5xSi1-xO2 (NASO (x mol%)) have been fabricated, it was analyzed that the effect of doping elements Al3+ and Nb5+ on the surface chemistry and microstructure of the NASO powder. And then a small amount of NASO powder was polymerized in situ with PI matrix material, and the effects of NASO on dielectric properties and breakdown strength of the NASO/PI composites were analyzed. The results showed that the introduction of the doping elements Al3+ and Nb5+ favors could be conductive to the formation of oxygen vacancies on the surface of the NASO particle, which improved the surface activity and chemical reactivity of the NASO particle. The PI matrix can efficiently capture additional charges and enhance the insulating characteristics of the NASO/PI composite by properly doping NASO fillers with specific defect concentrations. In the results the breakdown strength of 1 vol% NASO (1 mol%)/PI composites reaches 334.38 kV/mm, which is a 19.6% higher than that of PI. Because the traps in the fillers capture and suppress the carrier transport to enhance the insulating properties of the composites. CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein beta (CEBPB) has been associated with sepsis. However, its role in sepsis-induced myocardial injury (SIMI) remains ill-defined. This research was designed to illustrate the involvement of CEBPB in SIMI and its upstream modifier. The transcriptomic changes in heart biopsies of mice that had undergone polymicrobial sepsis were downloaded from the GEO dataset for KEGG enrichment analysis. CEBPB, on the TNF signaling pathway, was significantly enhanced in the myocardial tissues of mice with SIMI. Downregulation of CEBPB alleviated SIMI, as evidenced by minor myocardial injury and inflammatory manifestations. Moreover, ubiquitination modification of CEBPB by constitutive photomorphogenesis protein 1 homolog (COP1) led to the degradation of CEBPB and inhibited inflammatory responses in macrophages. Upregulation of COP1 protected against SIMI in mice overexpressing CEBPB. Collectively, our findings demonstrated that COP1 protected the heart against SIMI through the ubiquitination modification of CEBPB, which might be a novel therapeutic approach in the future. Heat-shock protein beta1 (HSPB1) is a member of the small HSP family, downregulated in osteoarthritis (OA) chondrocytes and demonstrated the capacity to serve as an RNA-binding protein (RBP). This work aimed to explore the profile of HSPB1 bound RNA and reveal the potential regulation mechanism of HSPB1 in OA. In this work, we captured an unbiased HSPB1-RNA interaction map in Hela cells using the iRIP-seq. The results demonstrated that HSPB1 interacted with plentiful of mRNAs and genomic location toward the CDS region. Functional enrichment of HSPB1-related peaks showed the involvement in gene expression, translation initiation, cellular protein metabolic process, and nonsense-mediated decay. HOMER software analysis showed that HSPB1 bound peaks were over-represented in GAGGAG sequences. In addition, ABLIRC and CIMS algorithm indicated that HSPB1 bound to AU-rich motifs and the proportion of AU-rich peaks in 3′ UTR were slightly higher than that in other regions. Moreover, HSPB1-binding targets analysis revealed several gens were associated with OA including EGFR, PLEC, COL5A1, and ROR2. The association of OA-related mRNAs to HSPB1 was additionally confirmed in OA tissues by the quantitative RIP-PCR experiments. Further experiment demonstrated the downregulation of HSPB1 in OA tissues. In conclusion, our current study confirmed HSPB1 as an RNA-binding protein and revealed its potential function in the pathological process of OA, providing a reliable insight to further investigate the molecular regulation mechanism of HSPB1 in OA. A quaternary ammonium salt-functionalized silica based on N-benzyl-N-methylethanolamine (BMEA-SD) was prepared for the removal and recovery of pentavalent vanadium [V(Ⅴ)] from hydrochloric acid solutions. The impact of pH, contact time, ionic strength, competitive metal ions, and recyclability of the adsorption factors were investigated. The results showed that BMEA-SD was an effective V(Ⅴ) adsorbent with a maximum adsorption capacity of 51.42 mg g−1 at solution pH 3, contact time of 30 minutes, and temperature of 298 K. Characterization of BMEA-SD materials by TG, FTIR, SEM, and XPS. In addition, the adsorption kinetics followed a pseudo-second-order model, with film diffusion being the determined step. The Langmuir isotherm suggested that monolayer chemical adsorption occurred on the adsorbent surface, and thermodynamics data indicated that the V(Ⅴ) adsorption process was spontaneous and endothermic. Selective separation studies (βV/Cr = 109.87, βV/Mn = 1171.40) highlighted its potential for selective adsorption of V(Ⅴ) over hexavalent chromium [Cr(Ⅵ)] and divalent manganese [Mn(II)]. Desorption was most effective using HCl aqueous solution, and this material maintained good adsorption capacity after five cycles. The experimental results indicated that the adsorption behavior might stem from the interplay of electrostatic forces, redox transformations, and ligand-exchange. Rationally designing of highly efficient electrocatalysts is critical to improving hydrogen production by water electrolysis. However, bottlenecks still require consideration when optimizing the intrinsic performance of electrocatalysts. Applying appropriate external fields to catalytic systems may effectively overcome such bottlenecks and enhance the performance of catalysts. Among various external fields, the magnetic field has received extensive attention owing to its multifunctionality, non‐contact nature, and non‐invasiveness, thereby requiring more research and development. In this review, recent advances in magnetic field‐assisted water electrolysis are systematically outlined. Firstly, the diverse methods used for pre‐regulating catalysts under magnetic fields, including optimized nucleation, induction heating, and directed growth, are discussed. It then explores the effects of magnetic fields on electrochemical processes, including magnetothermal, magnetohydrodynamic, and induced electric impact. Then, the influences of magnetic fields on the intrinsic properties of catalysts, such as spin polarization and spin reconstruction effects, are addressed. Finally, a discussion of the potential perspectives of magnetic field‐enhanced water splitting, including catalyst design, experimental precision, and in situ characterization, are then provided to guide further research. Objective: Analyze the research state and development trend of photodynamic therapy for dermatology using visual knowledge graphs derived from the Web of Science Core Collection database. Methods: The Web of Science Core Collection database was utilized as the search data source for the bibliometric analysis, and the associated articles published between January 1, 2000, and December 31, 2022, were obtained using the search terms "photodynamic therapy" and "dermatology". CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and additional tools were utilized for bibliometric analysis, and visual knowledge graphs were created. Results: Eight hundred and thirty two articles were retrieved in total, and 747 were included following de‐duplication and transformation. The country with the greatest number of publications is the United States; the primary research institution was University of Copenhagen; and the references with the highest centrality were primarily concerned with the selection of photosensitizers; High frequency keywords primarily comprised 5 aminolevulinic acid and basal cell carcinoma; and the clustering graph revealed that all keywords fell into 11 categories. Conclusion: In numerous areas of dermatology, photodynamic treatment is commonly employed. Current research focuses on nonneoplastic skin diseases and the choice of photosensitizers. As a new detection technology, polarization imaging is of great significance in the field of target detection. At present, polarization imaging technology usually adopts visible light polarization imaging. The technique is difficult to image the target in complex background due to its narrow working spectrum and short detection distance. Therefore, based on the principle of full Stokes micro-polarizer array, this paper proposes a multi-spectral polarization imaging scheme and designs a multi-spectral polarization imaging detection system penetrating haze. The results show that compared with traditional strength detection, the imaging system has significantly improved detection distance and imaging quality in smoky environments. This work delves into a novel concept that harnesses the potential of labyrinth passages for hydrogen decompression, offering the advantage of dispersing the mainstream into multiple channels, thereby reducing hydrogen mass and energy. Compared to traditional hydrogen decompression devices, this approach demonstrates adaptability to high pressure gradients and boasts a simple structure. For the industry, the perennial challenge has been controlling energy loss and enhancing aerodynamic performance during hydrogen decompression. Hence, our primary focus lies in addressing the key challenges related to labyrinth passages in this field. Within this study, a detailed design of the labyrinth passage is proposed, and the correlation between Mach number and energy loss is studied. Additionally, an in-depth study is conducted on the effects of throttling parameters on Mach number in the labyrinth passage, aiming to achieve an optimized design. The results reveal a linear correlation between Mach number and energy loss. Furthermore, the research highlights that different throttling parameters have distinct impacts on energy loss. By utilizing the maximum average Mach number ( M a ‾ max) as a metric to evaluate different designs, we have determined the range (Ŕ) of factor values for series number (n i / n 0), widths (w i / w 0), expansion coefficients (r i / r 0), interstage heights (h i / h 0) and depths (d i / d 0) to be 0.687, 0.482, 0.228, 0.075, and 0.036, respectively. The range (Ŕ) directly signifies the influence that each factor has on the Mach number. As a result, it has been deduced that the parameter effects on controlling energy loss follow a descending order: series number (n i / n 0), widths (w i / w 0), expansion coefficients (r i / r 0), interstage heights (h i / h 0) and depths (d i / d 0). Exploration in the Lishui West Sag of the East China Sea Basin is limited by the scarcity of offshore drilling sites, and the prediction of deep, high-quality reservoirs is challenging using only geophysical methods. This study introduces a quantitative approach to diagenetic facies division in individual wells based on logging data, providing a new method and perspective for the prediction of deep, high-quality reservoirs. We employed comprehensive data from core, logging, thin-section casting, cathodoluminescence, scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction analyses from five wells to study the petrology, physical properties, diagenetic types and strength, and diagenetic minerals of the Paleocene sandstone reservoirs in the Lishui West Sag. Apparent compaction rate, apparent cementation rate, and other quantitative characterization parameters were used to calculate the comprehensive diagenetic coefficient (Cg), and the diagenetic facies were divided into compaction, cementation, and dissolution facies. A logging calculation model for the comprehensive diagenetic coefficient (Cg) and a quantitative identification method for diagenetic facies in individual well reservoirs were established through a fitting analysis between Cg and logging curve parameters. Continuous quantitative identification of vertical diagenetic facies in the five wells in the study area showed that the high-quality reservoirs in wells L1, L2, and L3 within the L1 gas field are characterized by extensive development of dissolution facies, while wells L4 and L5 are dominated by compaction and cementation facies, with poor reservoir properties and no industrial gas flow output. The results demonstrate the reliability of the model method. A new type of local resonance sandwich metastructure beam is proposed in this paper. The structure consists of the corrugated sandwich beam matrix and local resonance units which is composed of mass blocks wrapped by soft materials. The band gap distribution and vibration transmission characteristics of the structure are calculated by transfer matrix method and finite element method respectively. The vibration transmission test platform of the sandwich metastructure beam was built, and the test data were obtained and compared with the calculation results. Finally, the regulation strategy of the structural parameters on the band gap characteristics of the structure was studied. The results show that: there are two flexure wave band gaps in the low frequency range, and the band gap frequencies are 196. 1 ~ 339. 0 Hz and 377. 2 ~ 655. 6 Hz, respectively; a full band gap is shown in the flexure wave band gaps, and the frequency range is 380. 0 ~ 423. 6 Hz. Within these two band gap ranges, significant suppression of flexure vibration transmission occurs. The structural parameters of corrugated sandwich beams have great influence on the characteristics of the band gaps. The low frequency and high bandwidth vibration reduction requirements of the local resonance sandwich metastructure beam can be realized by selecting proper structural parameters. Since 1980, the Arctic surface has warmed four times faster than the global mean. Enhanced Arctic warming relative to the global average warming is referred to as Arctic Amplification (AA). While AA is a robust feature in climate change simulations, models rarely reproduce the observed magnitude of AA, leading to concerns that models may not accurately capture the response of the Arctic to greenhouse gas emissions. Here, we use CMIP6 data to train a machine learning algorithm to quantify the influence of internal variability in surface air temperature trends over both the Arctic and global domains. Application of this machine learning algorithm to observations reveals that internal variability increases the Arctic warming but slows global warming in recent decades, inflating AA since 1980 by 38% relative to the externally forced AA. Accounting for the role of internal variability reconciles the discrepancy between simulated and observed AA. Plain Language Summary: The Arctic has been warming four times as quickly as the global mean since 1980. This so‐called Arctic Amplification (AA) has unprecedented impacts on Arctic environments and livelihoods. AA is robustly simulated by climate models, but simulations rarely reproduce the observed levels of AA for 1980–2022. This may be due to a model misrepresentation of the Arctic's sensitivity to increasing greenhouse gases. Another possibility is that the large, observed value of AA is inflated by natural fluctuations in the climate system. Here, we use machine learning to quantify the contribution of natural fluctuations to observed AA. We show that natural fluctuations have inflated AA by 38%, and thus reconcile model‐observation differences and suggest that the observed large AA over 1980 to present would not persist into the future. Advances in research of magnetic two-dimensional van der Waals (2D vdW) materials have opened up new opportunities in miniaturization of spintronic devices at the atomically thin limit. One major research thrust, which is the subject of this review, is that the magnetism of 2D vdW materials and their derived hetero-interface may be significantly affected by the local atomic geometry and environment. As a result, there is a pressing need for powerful advanced technique to characterize magnetic vdW surface and interface. Circularly polarized X-rays from synchrotron radiation light sources are key to this endeavor, as they can probe the microscopic magnetism of a specific element, for their atomic sensitivity, element-specificity, core-level excitation as well as capability of separation for the spin and orbit moments. We review a series of representative experimental achievements, exploiting circularly polarized X-rays, in (1) 2D vdW magnet, (2) magnetic metal/vdW interface, (3) molecule/vdW interface as well as (4) vdW/2D interface. On the basis of the review, advantages of probing magnetic vdW surface and interface by circularly polarized X-rays are presented, and challenges and opportunities are also discussed. Isolated fornix anterior column infarction has rarely been described and is difficult to assess accurately using conventional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). We report the case of a 75-year-old female who experienced acute anterograde amnesia. MRI performed within 24 h after amnesia onset showed an isolated infarction of the bilateral anterior columns of the fornix on diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI). Her symptoms persisted for up to 50 days, and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) showed disruption of the fiber tracts of the fornix. when acute amnesia syndrome onset, fornix anterior column infarction should be considered, and optimized DWI and DTI methods are needed to study the fornix in vivo in future research. This study examines the dependence of Arctic stratospheric polar vortex (SPV) variations on the meridional positions of the sea surface temperature (SST) anomalies associated with the first leading mode of North Pacific SST. The principal component 1 (PC1) of the first leading mode is obtained by empirical orthogonal function decomposition. Reanalysis data, numerical experiments, and CMIP5 model outputs all suggest that the PC1 events (positive-minus-negative PC1 events), located relatively northward (i.e., North PC1 events), more easily weaken the Arctic SPV compared to the PC1 events located relatively southward (i.e., South PC1 events). The analysis indicates that the North PC1-related Aleutian low anomaly is located over the northern North Pacific and thus enhances the climatological trough, which strengthens the planetary-scale wave 1 at mid-to-high latitudes and thereby weakens the SPV. The weakened stratospheric circulation further extends into the troposphere and favors negative surface temperature anomalies over Eurasia. By contrast, the South PC1-related Aleutian low anomaly is located relatively southward, and its constructive interference with the climatological trough is less efficient at high latitudes. Thus, the South PC1 events could not induce an evident enhancement of the planetary-scale waves at high latitudes and thereby a weakening of the SPV on average. The Eurasian cooling associated with South PC1 events (positive-minus-negative PC1 events) is also not prominent. The results of this study suggest that the meridional positions of the PC1 events may be useful for predicting the Arctic SPV and Eurasian surface temperature variations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The contradictory finding that sapphire has advantages in most mechanical properties but is inferior to spinel in ballistic performance has been re-examined. The ballistic performance of sapphire and spinel against armor-piercing-incendiary (API) projectiles of caliber 7.62 mm was explored through experiments and numerical simulations. During the parameterization of the Johnson-Holmquist 2 (JH2) model, several assumptions concerning the material constants were suggested. The observed agreement between experiments and numerical simulations validated the simulation method. On this basis, a parametric study was carried out in which some of the JH2 parameters for sapphire were modified to those for spinel. The results showed that ceramics with lower tensile strength and lower Poisson's ratio tend to form a larger fracture cone, which contributes to higher ballistic resistance by spreading the load over a larger area. Spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) is an acute neurologic emergency with poor outcomes, and mitochondrial dysfunction is known as one of the key pathological mechanisms underlying the SAH-induced early brain injury (EBI). 1-{3-[2-(1-benzothiophen-5-yl)ethoxy]propyl} azetidin-3-ol maleate (T817MA) is a newly synthesized neurotrophic compound that has been demonstrated to exert protective effects against brain injury. Here, we investigated the effect of T817MA in neuronal injury following experimental SAH both in vitro and in vivo. Primary cultured cortical neurons were treated with oxyhemoglobin (OxyHb) to mimic SAH in vitro , and T817MA at concentrations higher than 0.1 μM reduced OxyHb-induced neuronal injury. T817MA treatment significantly inhibited lipid peroxidation, reduced neuronal apoptosis and attenuated mitochondrial fragmentation. The results of western blot showed that T817MA markedly reduced the expression of mitochondrial fission proteins, fission protein 1 (Fis-1) and dynamin-related GTPase-1 (Drp-1), but prolonged the expression of the postsynaptic protein activity-regulated cytoskeleton-associated protein (Arc). In addition, T817MA significantly increased the expression of sirtuin 1 (Sirt1), which was accompanied by preserved enzymatic of isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH2) and superoxide dismutase (SOD). Knockdown of Sirt1 and Arc via small interfere RNA (siRNA) transfection partially prevented the T817MA-induced protection in cortical neurons. Furthermore, treatment with T817MA in vivo significantly reduced brain damage and preserved neurological function in rats. The decreased expression of Fis-1 and Drp-1, as well as the increased expression of Arc and Sirt1 were also observed in vivo. Background: Although the 308 nm excimer laser is commonly used to cure vitiligo, its clinical efficacy is limited. Experts have found that the efficacy of compound glycyrrhizin tablets combined with the 308 nm excimer laser in the treatment of vitiligo is significantly enhanced, but the specific research methods and clinical data must be clarified. Objective: To determine the clinical efficacy of compound glycyrrhizin tablets combined with the 308 nm excimer laser in the treatment of vitiligo. Methods: Until August 2022, studies were searched in PubMed, the Cochrane Library, the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, the China National Knowledge Infrastructure, the Chinese Scientific Journal Database, and the Wan Fang Database. We also searched for clinical RCTs involving compound glycyrrhizin tablets combined with the 308 nm excimer laser for the treatment of vitiligo. The meta‐analysis was conducted in accordance with the Cochrane Handbook's recommendations. Two reviewers regulated the study selection, data extraction, and assessment of bias risk, and consulted a third reviewer as necessary. For the meta‐analysis, Review Manager 5.4 was utilized. Results: Finally, 9 articles and 1052 patients were included. A systematic review compared the efficacy of compound glycyrrhizin tablets combined with the 308 nm excimer laser to that of the 308 nm excimer laser alone: OR = 3.33, p < 0.00001, 95% confidence interval [2.25, 4.92]. Conclusion: In the treatment of vitiligo, compound glycyrrhizin tablets combined with the 308 nm excimer laser are more effective than the 308 nm excimer laser alone, and there are no serious adverse reactions. The development of facile luminescent sensors for detecting nitrophenols in aqueous media is of great necessity for the safety of the environment and human health, as they are a class of widespread toxic organic pollutants that cause serious adverse effects upon consumption. Based on a new multidentate asymmetric ligand (H2L) in which salicylamide and 4-nitryl-salicylaldimine are spaced by 1,2-bis(2-ethoxy)ethyl, a new hydrostable lanthanide intercycle, [Tb2L2(NO3)2]·CH3CN (Tb-[2]c), was prepared to act as a new luminescent sensor for 4-NP in water media. Structural analysis indicated that two fully deprotonated L2− ligands in cis-configuration and μ2-L-κ2O1:κO2:κO4:κN2:κO5 coordination mode were interlocked by two TbIII ions to render the emitted TbIII encapsulated by L2− for lessening non-radiative transitions. The excellent sensitizing capability of the ligand L2− to TbIII was ascertained by both experimental methods and theoretical calculations. The sensing exploration indicated that Tb-[2]c exhibited highly sensitive and selective recognition of 4-NP against other nitroaromatics in aqueous media. Thick and hard roofs are frequently encountered geological conditions during coal mining operations. In such conditions, the deformation of the surrounding rock in roadways due to dynamic pressure disturbances has become a prominent factor that hinders the safe and efficient production of coal mines. To safeguard these roadways from damage, an analysis of the deformation mechanism of the roadway floor was conducted using theoretical analysis and numerical simulation methods. The conclusion drawn from the analysis is that as the roof thickness and hardness increase, the overhanging length of the goaf roof also increases. Additionally, the stress concentration coefficient on both sides of the roadway becomes greater, resulting in deeper and wider damage to the roadway floor. On this basis, a novel pressure relief and energy absorption method (PREAM) composed of combined blasting and constant resistance energy absorption support is proposed, and its effectiveness is verified by numerical simulation and field test. The research results demonstrate that the PREAM, through the coordinated control of pressure relief and support, can effectively reduce the stress on the surrounding rock of the roadway by accelerating the collapse of the roof and reducing the hanging length of the goaf roof, all while ensuring the stability of the roof. This optimization of the stress environment in the roadway significantly reduces the deformation of the roadway floor, achieving the goal of safeguarding the roadway and facilitating safe and efficient production. In addressing the critical need to understand the geological and diagenetic factors affecting Paleogene sandstone reservoirs in the Baiyun Sag—a region vital for oil and gas exploration—this study delves into the Paleogene Zhuhai and Enping formations. Advanced methodologies, including petrographic thin-section analysis, scanning electron microscopy, wavelet analysis, and carbon and oxygen isotope analysis, were employed to evaluate their petrological characteristics, pore structures, physical properties, and key diagenetic processes. The results indicate that the Zhuhai Formation is primarily composed of feldspathic quartz sandstones with prevalent intergranular dissolution pores, while the Enping Formation consists mainly of feldspathic sandstones with intragranular solution pores. The diagenetic temperatures across both formations ranged from 42.6 to 116.3 °C. The studied reservoirs have experienced porosity alterations due to mechanical compaction (23.07% reduction), carbonate cementation (9.02% reduction), and dissolution (5.09% enhancement). Notably, feldspar dissolution emerged as a significant contributor to high-quality reservoirs, particularly in the upper Enping Formation. These findings offer invaluable insights into the diagenetic evolution of sandstone reservoirs in the Baiyun Sag and hold significant implications for guiding future oil and gas exploration efforts in the region. Background. Bacillus Calmette–Guerin polysaccharide nucleic acid (BCG-PSN), as an immune modulator, can effectively regulate the immune function of the body, control the release of histamine inflammatory substances, and achieve allergic effects against chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU). This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of BCG-PSN on the levels of inflammatory factors and Th1/Th2 differentiation in CSU. Methods. A systemic literature search of BCG-PSN treatment of CSU was performed using the PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, CBM, and other databases. A quantitative meta-analysis was conducted according to the guidelines of the Cochrane Handbook. Review manager software 5.4 was used for meta-analysis. Results. Twenty-seven studies pertaining to 2840 patients were included. The duration of treatment was 4 to 12 weeks. BCG-PSN can increase CD3+T levels (MD = 6.06; 95% CI: 5.30 to 6.82; p < 0.00001; I2 = 31%), CD4+T levels (MD = 5.41; 95% CI: 4.82 to 6.01; p < 0.00001; I2 = 40%), and CD4+/CD8+(MD = 0.33; 95% CI: 0.28 to 0.38; p < 0.00001; I2 = 15%); at the same time, BCG-PSN can downregulate CD8+T levels (MD = −3.28; 95% CI: −3.82 to −2.74; p < 0.00001; I2 = 32%). Furthermore, BCG-PSN could downregulate IL-4 levels (MD = −4.06, 95% CI: −5.15 to −2.97, p < 0.00001; I2 = 0%), TNF-α levels (MD = −2.34; 95% CI: −3.01 to −1.66; p < 0.00001; I2 = 26%) and upregulate IL-10 levels (MD = 25.59, 95% CI: 23.50 to 27.69, p < 0.00001; I2 = 0%) and INF-γ levels (MD = 4.62, 95% CI: 3.79 to 5.45, p < 0.00001; I2 = 5%). Conclusions. BCG-PSN can regulate the levels of inflammatory factors and Th1/Th2 differentiation in CSU. Aimed at the problems of the Harris Hawks Optimization (HHO) algorithm, including the non-origin symmetric interval update position out-of-bounds rate, low search efficiency, slow convergence speed, and low precision, an Improved Harris Hawks Optimization (IHHO) algorithm is proposed. In this algorithm, a circle map was added to replace the pseudo-random initial population, and the population boundary number was reduced to improve the efficiency of the location update. By introducing a random-oriented strategy, the information exchange between populations was increased and the out-of-bounds position update was reduced. At the same time, the improved sine-trend search strategy was introduced to improve the search performance and reduce the out-of-bound rate. Then, a nonlinear jump strength combining escape energy and jump strength was proposed to improve the convergence accuracy of the algorithm. Finally, the simulation experiment was carried out on the test function and the path planning application of a 2D grid map. The results show that the Improved Harris Hawks Optimization algorithm is more competitive in solving accuracy, convergence speed, and non-origin symmetric interval search efficiency, and verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the Improved Harris Hawks Optimization in the path planning of a grid map. With the development and progress of uncrewed farming technology, uncrewed rice transplanters have gradually become an indispensable part of modern agricultural production; however, in the actual production, the working quality of uncrewed rice transplanters have not been effectively detected. In order to solve this problem, a detection method of uncrewed transplanter omission is proposed in this paper. In this study, the RGB images collected in the field were inputted into a convolutional neural network, and the bounding box center of the network output was used as the approximate coordinates of the rice seedlings, and the horizontal and vertical crop rows were fitted by the least square method, so as to detect the phenomenon of rice omission. By adding atrous spatial pyramid pooling and a convolutional block attention module to YOLOv5, the problem of image distortion caused by scaling and cropping is effectively solved, and the recognition accuracy is improved. The accuracy of this method is 95.8%, which is 5.6% higher than that of other methods, and the F1-score is 93.39%, which is 4.66% higher than that of the original YOLOv5. Moreover, the network structure is simple and easy to train, with the average training time being 0.284 h, which can meet the requirements of detection accuracy and speed in actual production. Introduction: The COVID-19 patients in the convalescent stage noticeably have pulmonary diffusing capacity impairment (PDCI). The pulmonary diffusing capacity is a frequently-used indicator of the COVID-19 survivors' prognosis of pulmonary function, but the current studies focusing on prediction of the pulmonary diffusing capacity of these people are limited. The aim of this study was to develop and validate a machine learning (ML) model for predicting PDCI in the COVID-19 patients using routinely available clinical data, thus assisting the clinical diagnosis. Methods: Collected from a follow-up study from August to September 2021 of 221 hospitalized survivors of COVID-19 18 months after discharge from Wuhan, including the demographic characteristics and clinical examination, the data in this study were randomly separated into a training (80%) data set and a validation (20%) data set. Six popular machine learning models were developed to predict the pulmonary diffusing capacity of patients infected with COVID-19 in the recovery stage. The performance indicators of the model included area under the curve (AUC), Accuracy, Recall, Precision, Positive Predictive Value(PPV), Negative Predictive Value (NPV) and F1. The model with the optimum performance was defined as the optimal model, which was further employed in the interpretability analysis. The MAHAKIL method was utilized to balance the data and optimize the balance of sample distribution, while the RFECV method for feature selection was utilized to select combined features more favorable to machine learning. Results: A total of 221 COVID-19 survivors were recruited in this study after discharge from hospitals in Wuhan. Of these participants, 117 (52.94%) were female, with a median age of 58.2 years (standard deviation (SD) = 12). After feature selection, 31 of the 37 clinical factors were finally selected for use in constructing the model. Among the six tested ML models, the best performance was accomplished in the XGBoost model, with an AUC of 0.755 and an accuracy of 78.01% after experimental verification. The SHAPELY Additive explanations (SHAP) summary analysis exhibited that hemoglobin (Hb), maximal voluntary ventilation (MVV), severity of illness, platelet (PLT), Uric Acid (UA) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) were the top six most important factors affecting the XGBoost model decision-making. Conclusion: The XGBoost model reported here showed a good prognostic prediction ability for PDCI of COVID-19 survivors during the recovery period. Among the interpretation methods based on the importance of SHAP values, Hb and MVV contributed the most to the prediction of PDCI outcomes of COVID-19 survivors in the recovery period. Hydrogen recovery from ammonia purge gas is a desirable method to relieve the pressure of increasing demand for hydrogen. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are promising adsorbents for the separation of the H 2 –N 2 mixture. However, the separation of the H 2 –N 2 mixture using MOFs remains challenging due to the lack of adsorptive mechanism. Herein, the adsorption mechanism of the H 2 –N 2 mixture in SIFSIX-2-Cu-i has been systematically investigated with the method of a combination of excess adsorption experiments, molecular simulations, and DFT calculations. In the Grand Canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) simulations, the polarizable force field was first applied to the adsorption of pure H 2 or N 2 and H 2 –N 2 mixture in SIFSIX-2-Cu-i. Ab Initio Molecular Dynamics (AIMD) was performed to investigate the distribution of the guest molecules in the pores of SIFSIX-2-Cu-i. Finally, Density functional theory (DFT) calculations were performed to predict the transfer of charge between MOF and guest molecules. Results revealed two binding sites of H 2 or N 2 in SIFSIX-2-Cu-i. A relatively high thermodynamic adsorption selectivity for N 2 over H 2 has been observed in SIFSIX-2-Cu-i. Furthermore, SIFSIX-2-Cu-i also exhibits a greater affinity with N 2 than with H 2 , which is probably because of the stronger induction interactions between F2 atoms and N 2 molecules. Tropical overshooting deep convections (ODCs) play a vital role in vertical transport of boundary layer pollutants, especially short‐lived species, to upper troposphere and lower stratosphere, with important implications for stratospheric ozone and climate. We use simulations from a global cloud‐system resolving model, Nonhydrostatic Icosahedral Atmosphere Model (NICAM), to study ODC changes from historical period to the end of the 21st century. NICAM well reproduces Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission‐satellite observed ODC spatiotemporal patterns. The future occurrences of ODCs with cloud top height above 15.5, 16.9, and 18.4 km scaled by the global temperature increase will increase by 7%/K, 27%/K, and 90%/K, respectively, over ocean where the atmosphere is becoming warmer and wetter. The corresponding changes are −1%/K, 10%/K, and 37%/K over land where the atmosphere will become hotter but drier. Relative to tropical cold point tropopause height, ODCs will only change by 3%/K, with 6%/K over the ocean but −3%/K on land. Plain Language Summary: Tropical overshooting deep convection (ODC) plays an important role in transporting short‐lived chemical species rapidly from troposphere to stratosphere. This study shows that the simulations from a global cloud‐system resolving model, Nonhydrostatic Icosahedral Atmosphere Model (NICAM), can well capture observed spatiotemporal variations of tropical ODCs. The NICAM simulations predict that by the end of the 21st century (2075–2104) versus the historical period (1979–2008) with a global‐mean surface air temperature increase of 2.67 K, ODC occurrences with cloud tops reaching above 15.5, 16.9, and 18.4 km will increase by 14%, 59%, and 189%, respectively. Thus ODCs with higher cloud tops increase by a larger fraction than ODCs with lower cloud tops. The corresponding changes in ODC occurrences over the future warmer (hotter) and wetter (drier) oceanic (terrestrial) environments will be 20% (−2%), 72% (27%), and 240% (98%). Thus ODCs over ocean generally increase at a faster rate than over land. With tropical cold point tropopause height as a reference level, which will increase from 17.2 to 18.1 km, ODCs will increase by only 8% over the tropics, with 15% over ocean but decrease by −8% over land. The polarised Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function (pBRDF) model relates the properties of target materials to the polarisation information of the incident and reflected light. The Priest–Germer (P-G) model was the first strictly pBRDF model to be officially released; however, some shortcomings remain. In this study, we first analyse the assumption framework of the P-G model, analyse the assumption framework to determine the imperfections in the framework, supplement the boundary conditions of the model for diffraction and transmission effects, and propose and construct a polarised pBTDF model based on the existing P-G model and parameter inversion; the output results of the model are compared with the experimental data through simulation. The results show that the intensity relative error and Degree of Linear Polarisation relative error of the target can be reduced by more than 40%, using the improved model, proving its accuracy and precision. Background: Previous studies have established that the regulation of prolonged, distal neuronal inhibition by the GABAB heteroreceptor (GABABR) is determined by its stability, and hence residence time, on the plasma membrane. Aims: Here, we show that GABABR in the nucleus accumbens (NAc) of rats affects the development of cocaine‐induced behavioral sensitization by mediating its perinucleus internalization and membrane expression. Materials & Methods: By immunofluorescent labeling, flow cytometry analysis, Co‐immunoprecipitation and open field test, we measured the role of Ca2+/calmodulin‐dependent protein kinase II (CaMKII) to the control of GABABR membrane anchoring and cocaine induced‐behavioral sensitization. Results: Repeated cocaine treatment in rats (15 mg/kg) significantly decreases membrane levels of GABAB1R and GABAB2R in the NAc after day 3, 5 and 7. The membrane fluorescence and protein levels of GABABR was also decreased in NAc GAD67+ neurons post cocaine (1 μM) treatment after 5 min. Moreover, the majority of internalized GABAB1Rs exhibited perinuclear localization, a decrease in GABAB1R‐pHluroin signals was observed in cocaine‐treated NAc neurons. By contrast, membrane expression of phosphorylated CaMKII (pCaMKII) post cocaine treatment was significantly increased after day 1, 3, 5 and 7. Baclofen blocked the cocaine induced behavioral sensitization via inhibition of cocaine enhanced‐pCaMKII‐GABAB1R interaction. With the deterioration of mining conditions, the stability of roadway has become an important research topic for safe and efficient production in coal mines. To protect the gob-side roadway from dynamic mining disturbance under the condition of thick and hard roof so as to ensure the stability of roadway, an innovative method of combined deep hole blasting (CDHB) is proposed. The CDHB method consists of directional energy-gathering blasting and non-directional blasting. By means of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and field test, the mechanism and effect of the method to protect roadway are analyzed. The research results show that due to the pressure relief principle of the directional energy-gathering blasting technology, the coal mass stress on the side of coal pillar in the roadway is reduced, and the stress concentration area is far away from the roadway. At the same time, owing to the principle of broken expansion filling of non-directional blasting, the collapsed gangue can fill the goaf and support the roof, thus reducing the coal mass stress in front of the working face and at the side of the roadway coal pillar. Finally, the combination of the two blasting methods successfully reduces the coal mass stress of the two sides of the roadway in front of the working face, optimizes the stress environment of the roadway and achieves the goal of protecting the roadway. The effectiveness of the CDHB method is verified by field tests, in which the stress and deformation of the surrounding rock of the roadway are significantly reduced. The generalized multiple-prize nested lottery contest framework has been broadly applied to model noisy competitions that award prizes to multiple recipients. Equilibrium existence was not formally established until the recent contribution of Fu et al. (2022). This paper comprehensively examines the equilibrium uniqueness of this contest model. We first consider a multi-prize contest with identical players, a scenario that is commonly assumed in the literature. We verify that a symmetric equilibrium exists and that the equilibrium is unique, which lays a foundation for the numerous studies that adopt this model setting. We then proceed to an asymmetric setting in which players may differ in their prize valuations, impact functions, and/or cost functions. We show that the equilibrium uniqueness persists when players are weakly heterogeneous. However, equilibrium uniqueness may fail—and multiple equilibria may arise—when players are sufficiently heterogeneous. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Polyanion‐type phosphate materials, such as M3V2(PO4)3 (M = Li/Na/K), are promising as insertion‐type negative electrodes for monovalent‐ion batteries including Li/Na/K‐ion batteries (lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs), sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs), and potassium‐ion batteries (PIBs)) with fast charging/discharging and distinct redox peaks. However, it remains a great challenge to understand the reaction mechanism of materials upon monovalent‐ion insertion. Here, triclinic Mg3V4(PO4)6/carbon composite (MgVP/C) with high thermal stability is synthesized via ball‐milling and carbon‐thermal reduction method and applied as a pseudocapacitive negative electrode in LIBs, SIBs, and PIBs. In operando and ex situ studies demonstrate the guest ion‐dependent reaction mechanisms of MgVP/C upon monovalent‐ion storage due to different sizes. MgVP/C undergoes an indirect conversion reaction to form Mg0, V0, and Li3PO4 in LIBs, while in SIBs/PIBs the material only experiences a solid solution with the reduction of V3+ to V2+. Moreover, in LIBs, MgVP/C delivers initial lithiation/delithiation capacities of 961/607 mAh g−1 (30/19 Li+ ions) for the first cycle, despite its low initial Coulombic efficiency, fast capacity decay for the first 200 cycles, and limited reversible insertion/deinsertion of 2 Na+/K+ ions in SIBs/PIBs. This work reveals a new pseudocapacitive material and provides an advanced understanding of polyanion phosphate negative material for monovalent‐ion batteries with guest ion‐dependent energy storage mechanisms.
