Background: An increasing number of cutaneous adverse reactions (CARs) to SARS-CoV-2 vaccines have been reported, but their incidence is debated. Objective: To estimate the pooled incidence of CARs to SARS-CoV-2 vaccines in the general adult population. Methods: A systematic review and meta-analysis of original articles published on MEDLINE via PubMed and Web Of Science from 1 January 2020 to 18 July 2022 was undertaken. Studies reporting the incidence proportion of CARs (defined as number of new cases of CARs on the total of vaccinated people) were included. All types of SARS-CoV-2 vaccine were included. People receiving at least one dose were considered eligible. Local cutaneous reactions were excluded. Results: A total of 970 records were identified and screened by title and abstract; 22 observational studies were included with aggregate data on 93,165 participants. Este artigo tem como temática a influência da biopolítica nos corpos femininos como um dispositivo de regramento, que visa o consumo de produtos de moda através de discursos publicitários. A partir da ideia de que existe um modelo de corpo ideal e a moda, enquanto manifestação cultural, o utiliza como padrão, analisaremos um editorial fotográfico com a modelo Christy Turlington, veiculado na edição brasileira da revista Vogue Brasil em 2019, para compreendermos de que forma o conceito de biopolítica de Michel Foucault se relaciona com os corpos femininos nas imagens de moda. Concluímos que a biopolítica constitui normas que regem a sociedade dizendo como as pessoas devem agir e moldar seus corpos, o que gera um descontentamento generalizado em mulheres consideradas “comuns”, pois elas não possuem o corpo considerado perfeito e perseguem esse ideal através de tratamentos estéticos, cirurgias plásticas e consumo de produtos de moda que podem aproximá-las deste ideal.

In this paper, I present aspects of my research based in Rui Spohr´s professional path. The first brazilian designer in studying fashion in France in the early 1950s, Rui has gained notoriety in Porto Alegre, south Brazil, where he lives and developped his activities. He became widely knownin the 1960s by integrating Rhodia’s team of dressmakers in the shows that took place during Fenit. His trajectory helps to understand some peculiarities of Brazilian fashion: the idea of its international quality – following the French model –, the searching for cultural elements to express an identity through fashion and the resumption of its past to build a memory.

O objetivo principal desta tese ? compreender como o costureiro ga?cho Rui Spohr (1929-2019) construiu a sua imagem e seu espa?o de atua??o a partir de Porto Alegre- cidade onde vive e atua. O ponto de partida foram os discursos autobiogr?ficos de Rui Spohr, associados a quest?es te?ricas e metodol?gicas que permitem verificar o trabalho de enquadramento de sua mem?ria assim como os di?logos que estabelece, especialmente em rela??o ? moda internacional, e o campo onde atua. Rui iniciou suas atividades na moda em 1949, escrevendo para um jornal de sua cidade natal, Novo Hamburgo. Em 1952 partiu para Paris, em busca de forma??o e em 1955 se estabeleceu definitivamente em Porto Alegre, atuando incialmente como chapeleiro. Al?m de chapeleiro e costureiro, Rui atuou como comunicador, o que corroborou sua imagem profissional e o colocou em uma posi??o de autoridade. Neste trabalho foi analisada sua produ??o para diferentes jornais nos anos 1950 e anos 1990. Tais textos acabam por revelar as ambi??es e aspira??es da sociedade- e do tempo ent?o vivido. Sua trajet?ria longeva, que extrapolou os limites regionais, pode ser considerada em rela??o a outros profissionais para assim dimensionar o campo da moda no Brasil. Ao longo de sua carreira -e auxiliado pela esposa, Doris Spohr- Rui construiu ainda um acervo de fontes diversificadas que d?o conta de sua trajet?ria refor?ando o enquadramento de sua mem?ria. Finalmente, o estudo busca situar o lugar ocupado por Rui Spohr na hist?ria da moda do Brasil. L?objectif principal de cette th?se, c?est de comprendre comment Rui Spohr (1929-2019) a forg? son image de couturier au sud du Br?sil, ? Porto Alegre - ville o? il vit et travaille jusqu'? nos jours. Le point de d?part, c'est ses discours autobiographiques, associ?s ? des questions th?oriques et m?thodologiques qui nous permettent de v?rifier le travail d'encadrement de sa m?moire ainsi que les dialogues qu'il ?tablit, en particulier par rapport ? la mode internationale. Rui commence ses activit?s en 1949 en ?crivant pour un journal de Novo Hamburgo, sa ville d?origine. En 1952, il part ? Paris ? la recherche d'une formation sp?cialis?e dans la mode. En 1955, il s'installe d?finitivement ? Porto Alegre, en travaillant d'abord comme chapelier et, ensuite, couturier. Rui a aussi jou? le r?le de communicateur, ce qui a renforc? son image professionnelle et l'a plac? dans une position de sp?cialiste au sujet de la mode Dans cette recherche, sa production pour de diff?rents journaux des ann?es 50 et 90 a ?t? analis?e. Ces textes r?v?lent les ambitions et les aspirations de la soci?t?. Sa longue trajectoire depasse les limites r?gionales et peut ?tre envisag?e par rapport ? d'autres professionnels afin de faire ?voluer le secteur de la mode au Br?sil. Tout au long de sa carri?re, assist? de son ?pouse, Doris Spohr, Rui a ?galement constitu? une collection priv?e comprise de diff?rents documents qui temoignent ?galement, sa trajectoire. Esta investigação é pautada na trajetória de Rui Spohr, costureiro gaúcho que estudou moda na França no início dos anos 1950 e ganhou notoriedade em Porto Alegre, cidade onde vive e atua. A visibilidade nacional veio nos anos 1960, ao integrar o time de costureiros da Rhodia nos desfiles-show que aconteciam durante a Fenit. Sua trajetória ajuda a compreender certas particularidades da moda brasileira: a ideia da qualidade internacional – ao seguir o modelo francês –, a busca por elementos culturais para expressar uma identidade através da moda e a retomada de seu passado – mesmo que recente – como forma de elaborar uma memória.

Movement models require individually identifiable marks to estimate the movement rates among strata. But they are relatively expensive to apply and monitor. Batch marks can be readily applied, but individual animal movements cannot be identified. We describe a method to estimate population size in a stratified population when movement takes place among strata and animals are marked with a combination of batch and individually identifiable tags. A hierarchical model with Bayesian inference is developed that pools information across segments on the detection efficiency based on radio-tagged fish and also uses the movement of the radio-tagged fish to impute the movement of the batch-marked fish to provide estimates of the population size on a segment and river level. The batch marks provide important information to help estimate the movement rates, but contribute little to the overall estimate of the population size. In this case, the approximate equal catchability among strata in either sample obviates the need for stratification.

In this paper we describe a system for beverage product recognition through the analysis of cooler shelf images. The extreme objects occlusion, the strong light influence and the poor quality of the images make this task a challenging one. To overcome these limitations, we rely on simple computer vision algorithms, like chamfer and color histogram matching and we introduce simple 3D modeling techniques. In our experiments, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in terms of both detection accuracy and computational time.

OBJETIVO: Verificar sintomas de transtornos alimentares em estudantes de Nutrição do sexo feminino em relação ao estado nutricional, à prática de atividade física e ao semestre cursado. MÉTODOS: Foi utilizado o Eating Attitudes Test-26 para verificar sintomas de transtornos alimentares em estudantes do curso de Nutrição de uma faculdade particular do Rio Grande do Sul. Foram coletados dados de peso e altura para a avaliação do estado nutricional, semestre cursado, prática de atividade física e dados demográficos. RESULTADOS: A amostra foi composta por 186 alunas. As entrevistadas, em sua maioria, apresentavam entre 21 e 25 anos de idade (50,0%), cor branca (93,5%), renda inferior a 10 salários-mínimos (66,0%) e eram solteiras (91,0%). Os resultados do Eating Attitudes Test-26 demonstraram que 24,7% das estudantes apresentavam sintomas de transtornos alimentares. Cerca de 85,5% das estudantes da amostra eram eutróficas, 8,5% apresentavam algum grau de desnutrição e 6,0%, sobrepeso e/ou obesidade. Não houve significância estatística na comparação entre sintomas de transtornos alimentares com o estado nutricional (p=0,32), o semestre cursado (p=0,67) e com a prática de atividade física (p=0,12). CONCLUSÃO: Foi identificada alta proporção de sintomas de transtornos alimentares, porém sem significância estatística quando comparado com o estado nutricional, à atividade física e ao semestre cursado.OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to check for symptoms of eating disorders in female nutrition students in relation to their nutritional status, level of physical activity and academic semester. METHODS: The Eating Attitudes Test-26 was used to check for symptoms of eating disorders in nutrition students of a private college in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The following data were collected: weight, height, academic semester, level of physical activity and demographic data. RESULTS: The sample consisted of 186 female students. Most of the interviewees aged between 21 and 25 years (50.0%), were Caucasian (93.5%), single (91.0%) and made less than US$2080 per month (66.0%). The Eating Attitudes Test-26 results showed that 24.7% of these students had symptoms of eating disorders. Around 85.5% of the interviewees had normal weight, 8.5% had some degree of malnutrition and 6.0% were overweight and/or obese. No statistical significance was found when the symptoms of eating disorders were compared with nutritional status (p=0.32), academic semester (p=0.67) and level of physical activity (p=0.12). CONCLUSION: There is a high prevalence of symptoms of eating disorders in this sample, but they are not statistically significance with nutritional status, level of physical activity and academic semester.

Peritoneal dialysis is a method still underused in Italy. In the Autonomous Province of Trento (PAT) since 2008 has been implemented, with excellent results, a program for the enhancement of the use of this therapy. The most important innovation was the introduction of a questionnaire proposed by nurses to patients in pre-dialysis colloquia. The questionnaire aimed to outline the patient personal and family profile in relation to the chosen dialysis methods. We analyzed 174 questionnaires collected from 1/04/2008 to 01/12/2015. Among these 84 patients had opted for the peritoneal dialysis (PD) and 90 had chosen the Hemodialysis (HD). The questionnaire comparison shown that the patient who opted for the PD have a more positive attitude towards this method. PD patient had more often a job, lived far away from the center of HD, had more frequently the support of a family and had a psychological profile more "sad" or "emotional" than the HD patient, who was more "insecure". On the other hand, factors like age, type of family, degree of autonomy and nationality do not affect the choice about dialysis.

Background: No randomized double-blind studies have been performed to compare clarithromycin 1 g/day with higher doses of the macrolide (1.5 g/day) when combined with ranitidine bismuth citrate (RBC). Aim: To compare H. pylori eradication and ulcer healing rates of RBC 400 mg b.d. for 4 weeks combined for the first 2 weeks either with clarithromycin 500 mg b.d. (Group A) or clarithromycin 500 mg t.d.s. (Group B). Methods: Two hundred and seventy-three patients with H. pylori-positive active duodenal ulcer were included. H. pylori infection was detected by CLO-test and histology on antral and corpus biopsies before and at least 4 weeks after the end of therapy. Eradication was assumed if both CLO-test and histology results were negative for H. pylori. Results: Eradication/healing rates according to intention-to-treat and per protocol analysis were 76/82% and 87/92% for Group A and 78/85% and 88/95% for Group B, respectively (P = N.S.). Adverse events were reported by 7% and 12% of patients in Groups A and B, respectively, and they were generally mild. Conclusions: RBC in co-prescription with clarithromycin 500 mg b.d. is as effective as RBC plus clarithromycin 500 t.d.s. in eradicating H. pylori and healing duodenal ulcers.

Valendo-se de um olhar lançado sobre a trajetória do estilista gaúcho Rui Spohr, procura-se refletir sobre os valores que constituem expressivas marcas culturais do Sul do país, os quais se vinculam a aspectos da identidade regional. Para tanto, por meio de pesquisa com reportagens fotográficas veiculadas na Revista do Globo e revista Manchete, procedeu-se uma análise no que tange a criações singulares de Rui Spohr sob o prisma dos elementos representativos da cultura local. O estilista, ao transitar dinamicamente por esse panorama, projeta-se como mediador de tendências internacionais localmente, uma vez que associa o seu estilo a elementos da cultura gaúcha como forma de criar uma imagem e reforçar relevantes marcas socio-históricas que permeiam a diversidade da cultura brasileira.
