Desa Sumberdem di Kecamatan Wonosari Kabupaten Malang memiliki hasil pertanian berupa tanaman obat -obatan, salah satu contohnya adalah daun Afrika. Tanaman ini digunakan sebagai produk teh untuk dikonsumsi oleh penderita diabetes. SMKN 1 Wonosari merupakan mitra yang memproduksi teh daun afrika. Untuk membuat produk teh daun afrika menggunakan mesin pengering. Mesin pengering milik SMKN 1 Wonosari kurang optimal karena beberapa kendala saat kami menggunakannya. Ditemukan 3 masalah pada saat tim menggunakan mesin pengering milik mitra yaitu letak elemen pemanas kurang optimal sehingga pengeringan daun afrika tidak merata, ujung rak tajam yang dapat menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja dan roda pada alas pengering tidak kuat menahan beban. Solusi permasalahan yang digunakan yaitu perbaikan mesin pengering. Ada 3 metode dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan untuk mencapai luaran adalah metode pendekatan, metode reverse engineering dan on the job training. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah mesin pengering daun afrika dengan menggunakan elemen pemanas pada setiap rak. Mesin pengering dengan daya 1450 watt ini memiliki keunggulan yaitu hasil pengeringan daun afrika dapat merata, waktu pengeringan lebih cepat dan lebih aman digunakan. Pemakaian mesin pengering ini mitra dapat menghemat biaya produksi Rp. 7.403 setiap 4kg daun afrika basah.

Having an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient house is a critical requirement today as this has a positive impact on residents and the surrounding environment, which supports the improvement of the three main pillars of the concept of sustainable development. However, many factors influence the energy-saving behaviour of households, especially the millennial generation. This study aims to identify and analyse the millennial generation's behaviour towards energy efficiency activities in environmentally friendly houses using the Theory of Planned Behaviour. The quantitative method was applied with a cross-sectional survey method and analysis with structural equation modelling. The respondents were 200 millennials in Malang and Surabaya with purposive random sampling. The analysis resulted that attitudes have a positive effect of 0.22, subjective norms have a positive effect of 0.44, and perceived behavioural control has a positive effect of 0.19 on the energy efficiency intention. The results also showed that perceived behavioural control and energy efficiency intention partially have a positive effect of 0.61 on energy efficiency behaviour. Based on the analysis and hypothesis testing results, it is concluded that subjective norm and attitudes positively and significantly affect the millennial generation's energy efficiency intention, besides perceived behavioural control. Thus, this study will support the sustainable development stakeholders so that it will lead to understanding the millennials' behaviour and reasons for safe energy in eco-friendly homes concerning appropriate energy usage rules

Total Productive Maintenance atau TPM adalah salah satu metode proses maintenance yang dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan produktifitas di area kerja, dengan cara membuat proses tersebut lebih reliable dan lebih sedikit terjadi pemborosan (waste). PT. Tri Tunggal Laksana menggunakan mesin debarker sebagai alat pemotong dan pengupas kulit kayu dalam memproduksi veneer. Selama periode produksi, mesin sering mengalami downtime sehingga mengganggu proses kerja produksi. Untuk itulah perusahaan perlu melakukan evaluasi atas mesin yang digunakan sehingga penerapan Total Productive Maintenance dapat dilaksanakan optimal demi meningkatkan efektivitas mesin produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menilai efektivitas mesin debarker menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Hasilnya, semua faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai OEE berada dibawah standar dunia. Nilai availability ratio (89,78 % < 90,00%), performance ratio (87,97% < 95,00%), dan nilai quality ratio (91,43% < 99,90%). Nilai OEE mesin debarker sebesar 72,1% yang berarti masih berada di bawah world class standart yaitu sebesar 85%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai performance rate yang rendah dipengaruhi oleh adanya komponen–komponen mesin yang kritis dan sering mengalami gangguan. Melalui Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) diketahui bahwa komponen rantai conveyor dan mata pisau memiliki nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) tertinggi sehingga komponen ini yang harus diutamakan dalam upaya meningkatkan efektivitas produksi.

The use of plastic is widely known in everyday life, with a variety of advantages (light but strong, transparent, waterproof, low price). But besides having advantages, conventional plastics also have disadvantages, namely that they are difficult to decompose and pollute the environment when they burn. The need to reduce the use of conventional plastics and replace them with the use of bioplastics in the community is still often socialized, one of which is to students at SMA Nasional Malang. The aim of training and socializing environmentally friendly bioplastics is so that students can reduce the use of conventional plastics and switch to using environmentally friendly products, as well as being able to make bioplastic products. The result of the bioplastic making training is that students are able to make eating and drinking utensils made from bioplastics with various models they like. Through socialization, students began to change their lifestyle by reducing the use of conventional plastics and switching to using environmentally friendly products. To better understand the dangers of conventional plastics to the environment, students compared the biodegradability of conventional plastics and bioplastics. The result is that bioplastics break down faster than conventional plastics. Knowledge of bioplastics and their raw materials is new to them. From the questionnaire, it was found that Malang National Senior High School students were very interested in the training provided, some wanted to make various bioplastic product creations independently and hoped that there would be other training to help students develop their knowledge and creativity.

This study was designed to analyze the factors of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) implementation affecting the performance of road construction workers. The research employed a quantitative survey method by self-distributing questionnaires using simple random sampling to 50 road construction workers on a road-widening project, with a 99% response rate. The analysis based on the results of the questionnaire data through the validity test, reliability, and the multiple regressions testing: f-test and t-test of each statement item. Regarding the descriptive analysis test results, the most dominant among several elements of Work Safety variable statement was the appropriate use of work equipment, which was 81%. In contrast, the practical result of the Occupational Health variable was the first aid kits provided by companies, which was 82%. For the Worker Performance variable, the dominant result was the workers' attitude to conform to the rules leading to achieving work targets, which was 88%. Furthermore, according to the results of multiple regressions testing, it can be concluded that the implementation of occupational safety and health had a positive effect on employee performance. The findings show that the application of OHS in construction projects affects the performance of workers which ultimately also determines the achievement of the company's work targets.

PT. Tri Tunggal Laksana is an industry that focusing on wood processing. During the production period, the tools have a high frequency of trouble. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) has been recognized as one of the significant operation strategy to regain the production losses due to equipment inefficiency. Many organizations have implemented TPM to improve their equipment efficiency and to obtain the competitive advantage in the global market in terms of cost and quality. In the implementation of TPM in a manufacturing organization, both Human-oriented and Process-oriented strategy has been identified as critical success factors. Based on the problem background, the research do because Rotary Machine 5 Feet having so many trouble in July to December of 2019 during the production period. After the research is done, the average of OEE calculation is equal to 56.29%. It can be concluded that the effectiveness of the machine is still far from world class standard that is equal to 85%. Six big losses factors that contribute most to Rotary Machine effectiveness is Reduce Speed Losses that is 22,31%. According to the fishbone diagram analysis factors that causing the OEE is low can be identified so that improvement can be done immediately.

Ketatnya persaingan usaha di era globalisasi ini, mengharuskan pelaku usaha untuk terus memperbaiki kinerjanya, tidak hanya meningkat tapi sebisa mungkin unggul (excellence), tidak terkecuali usaha di bidang jasa transportasi niaga darat (land freight forwarder). Berdasarkan laporan keuangan selama tiga tahun terakhir, menunjukkan tren kinerja keuangan perusahaan cenderung menurun. Hal ini disebabkanoleh banyak faktor, baik secara eksternal maupun internal perusahaan. Hasil observasi di lapangan membuktikan penyebab penurunan kinerja keuangan lebih didominasi oleh faktor internal. Untuk proses perbaikan internal, diperlukan langkah awal pengukuran pencapaian kinerja saat ini. Dikarenakan saat ini perusahaan tidak mempunyai alat ukur kinerja secara menyeluruh dan berorientasi kinerja unggul (performance excellence), maka metode pengukuran kinerja pada penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur berbasis Baldrige Excellence Framework kriteria Bisnis. Selain hasil observasi, instrumen utama penelitian ini adalah hasil survei kuesioner terhadap karyawan perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil survei kuesioner didapatkan tingkat pencapaian kinerja berbasis Baldrige Excellence Framework kriteria Bisnissaat ini sebesar 750 poin dengan prosentase pencapaian secara keseluruhan sebesar 74% yang artinya perusahaan berada pada tingkat Pemimpin Bisnis (Business Leader) dengan kategori Unggulan (Excellent).

Pemakaian energi di gedung perkantoran didominasi oleh penggunaan AC ( Air Conditioner ) sebesar 53%. Penggunaan AC ( Air Conditioner ) bertujuan untuk memberikan kondisi yang nyaman kepada pegawai sehingga meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Kondisi pemasangan AC ( Air Conditioner ) pada gedung perkantoran belum sesuai dengan standart yang ditentukan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan perencanaan pemasangan AC ( Air Conditioner ) yang sesuai dengan standart ruangan kerja. Berdasarkan Standart Nasional Indonesia (SNI) standart temperature udara 22°C - 25°C. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan PDCA untuk mendapatkan efisiensi penggunaan energi. Dengan adanya pemasangan AC ( Air Conditioner ) otomatis akan meningkatkan penggunaan energi sehingga perlu dilakukan efisiensi penggunaan energi. Efisiensi energi dilakukan dengan pengurangan jam penggunaan AC ( Air Conditioner ) sehingga konsumsi energi akan berkurang.

Terkait program alih teknologi, suatu program alih teknologi sangat dipengaruhi oleh peran dari baik penerima teknologi maupun pemberi teknologi. Salah satu hal penting dari peran penerima maupun pemberi alih teknologi adalah tentang alasan atau motif atas kesediaan mereka dalam terlibat dalam proses alih teknologi tersebut. Apabila kita dalam melakukan proses alih teknologi tidak memiliki pengetahuan tentang alasan utama pelaku untuk terlibat dalam program alih teknologi, maka transfer untuk program transfer teknologi tersebut berpotensi untuk berakhir dalam kegagalan. Penelitian ini membuka kotak hitam untuk menemukan keinginan utama dari penerima transfer teknologi untuk menerima baik pengetahuan ataupun teknologi yang baru melalui program alih teknologi dengan melibatkan Helices, yaitu Triple Helix yang terdiri dari pemerintah, akademisi dan bisnis sebagai agen teknologi. Dalam penelitian ini terungkap bahwa Program transfer dapat dilakukan dengan sukses bila alasan atau motif penerima alih teknologi. Dan dalam penelitian ini dapat terungkap bahwa motif utama penerima teknologi bersedia terlibat dalam suatu program alih teknologi adalah keuntungan finansial daripada keuntungan akan pengetahuan atau teknologi itu sendiri. Motif ini apabila terpenuhi akan dapat mendorong keberlanjutan dari program alih teknologi yang dijalankan.

Dalam proses perbaikan terus menerus peran dari sumber daya manusia sangatlah penting, setiap individu/karyawan harus menyadari pentingnya kualitas produk, sehingga setiap karyawan tersebut harus mempunyai rasa kepemilikan terhadap kualitas ( Quality Ownership ). Terkait Quality Ownership tersebut, pengukuran terhadap nilai dari Visual Quality Index (VQI) digunakan sebagai peringatan bagi perusahaan untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap kualitas baik proses maupun produk. Pada penelitian peningkatan ini Quality Ownership diukur dengan metode Continuous Improvement (PDCA) melalui VQI yang terintegrasi dalam metode A3 Problem Solving dan Failure Mode and Effect s Analysis (FMEA), tahap pertama adalah melakukan brainstorming dengan beberapa orang yang berperan dalam proses produksi dengan metode 5 why yang disusun dalam tree diagram analysis untuk mencari akar permasalahan, dilanjutkan dengan penggunaan tabel FMEA untuk mendapatkan nilai dari Risk Potensial Number (RPN), setelah mengetahui nilai dari RPN kemudian adalah membuat countermeasure dari permasalahan dan membuat jadwal perbaikan, tahap selanjutnya adalah menerapkan dan memonitoring proses dengan cara melakukan pengamatan menggunakan nilai dari VQI. Peningkatan Quality Ownership dapat dilihat dari perubahan nilai VQI yang semula di atas 200 dari rata-rata turun menjadi 193 dan konsisten di bawah angka 200, hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terjadi pengendalian kualitas dalam proses produksi dengan kata lain adalah terjadi peningkatan Quality Ownership dalam perilaku karyawan dalam bekerja.

Koperasi XYZ termasuk koperasi dengan kategori aset tinggi yaitu di peringkat 233 di dunia, namun belum menerapkan Green Management. Salah satu divisi Koperasi XYZ yaitu Divisi Ekspansi Angkutan Limbah, diharapkan dapat memenuhi 5 kategori Green Management yaitu Pendekatan Pasar, Stakeholder, Efisiensi, dan Reneawble. Strategi perencanaan operasional untuk Green Managementmenggunakan Balance Scorecard (BSC). Tujuan penelitianini mengetahui pengaruh variabelbalanced scorecard berbasis Green Managementyang berkelanjutan (Continuos Improvement) yang disinergikan denganStructural Equation Modelling (SEM)sebagai sarana perencanaan strategi kedepandalam proses bisnisnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala likert dengan sampel100 untuk memenuhimaximum likelihood estimation, dengan merumuskan 5 hipotesis berdasarkan persepktif BSC dan Green Management.Hasil uji model menunjukkan 4 variabel yang signifikan sedangkan 1 tidak signifikan yaknivariabel pembelajaran (X1) terhadap Proses Bisnis Internal (Y1). Implikasi model simulasi goodness of fitmodifikasi menghasilkan Chi Squaresebesar 155,941, Probabilitas sebesar 0.253, RMSEA sebesar 0.028, GFI sebesar 0.872, AGFI sebesar 0.832 dan TLI sebesar 0.979.Hasil penelitianini diharapkan management Koperasi XYZ mampu melakukan improvisasi dalam menghadapi persaingan bisnis dengan merujuk model modifikasi di dalam menjalankan proses bisnisnya.

Manajemen tata kelola pada unit usaha mikro, UMKM, seringkali menjadi hambatan bagi unit usaha tersebut untuk bertahan, bahkan mampu berkembang maju. Umumnya industri kreatif rumah tangga ini memiliki kemampuan tata kelola manajerial yang kurang memadai. Hal ini juga terlihat pada UMKM Bhakti Collection yang bergerak di bidang produksi kerudung border dan sulam tangan. Usaha ini memiliki banyak permintaan dan penjualan, tersebar di kota-kota besar Indonesia, namun ternyata manajemen tata kelolanya masih dilakukan dengan pencatatan manual, sehingga sering terjadi kehilangan barang dan sulit melakukan pelacakan pengontrolan. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini membantu UMKM dalam memperbaiki manajemen pengelolaan produk dan transaksinya dengan pendekatan manajemen berbasis database menggunakan aplikasi MS Access. Perekaman database dilakukan dengan mengelompokkan jenis bahan, model, motif, aplikasi, pekerja, waktu produksi, juga dengan menambahkan informasi harga, lokasi penyimpanan, jumlah stok, rekaman transaksi dan identitas pembeli/pemesan. Kegiatan ini memberikan banyak kontribusi langsung terhadap UMKM. Manajemen inventori baik bahan baku, penunjang, maupun produk jadi dapat dikelola dengan baik. Transaksi pemjualan dan pemesanan produk terekam dengan baik. Katalog produk juga semakin mudah di monitor dan di update. Perbaikan manajemen tata kelola usaha ini membawa dampak signifikan positif terhadap UMKM, sehingga diharapkan UMKM dapat meningkatkan keunggulan bersaingnya di masa mendatang.

A fixed focal length lens (FFL) camera with on-adjustable focal length is common companions for conducting aerial photography using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) due to its superiority on optical quality and wider maximum aperture, lighter weight and smaller sizes. A wide-angle 35mm FFL Sony a5100 camera had been used extensively in our recent aerial photography campaign using UAV. Since this off-the-self digital camera is categorized into a non-metric one, a stability performance issue in terms of intrinsic parameters raises a considerably attention, particularly on variations of the lens principal distance and principal point's position relative to the camera's CCD/CMOS sensor caused by the engine and other vibrations during flight data acquisitions. A series of calibration bundle adjustment was conducted to determine variations in the principal distances and principal point coordinates before commencing, during, and after accomplishment of the flight missions. This paper demonstrates the computation of the parameters and presents the resulting parameters for three different epochs. It reveals that there are distinct discrepancies of the principal distances and principal point coordinates prior to, during, and after the mission, that peaked around 1.2mm for the principal distance, as well as around 0.4mm and 1.3mm along the x-axis and the y-axis of the principal point coordinates respectively. In contrast, the lens distortions parameters show practically no perturbations in terms of radial, decentering, and affinity distortion terms during the experiments.

Based on the financial statements for the past three years, shows the decline in performance and the weak competitiveness of PT. Galena Perkasa Sidoarjo. The decline in performance is dominated by internal factors rather than external factors. Internal factors include a variety of variables. Due to the suitability of the characteristics, this study uses a performance measurement tool based on the Baldrige Excellence Framework, which includes six independent variables (leadership, strategy, customers, measurement-analysis-management knowledge, workforce, and operations) and one dependent variable (performance). To determine the effect and significance of the Baldrige Excellence Framework independent variable on the dependent variable, on the survey results in the form of a questionnaire, this study uses multiple linear regression analysis.

Flood always hits Sampang City every year and it causes the transportation disruption in Madura Island.The flood in Sampang City is caused by four main factors: the watershed (DAS) quality, the drainage system, the river capacity, and the tide. The flood control strategies that have been done are: the reduction of flood discharge peakand increasing the river capacity. However,these strategies have not achieved the significant results yet. Thus a new strategy is needed to solve the problem. The result of hydrography analysis shows that the discharge is dominated by the surface runoff, thus it indicates that the quality of DAS is very poor.Further, the land usage in DAS is dominated by the agricultural land such as thefarms and the rice fields. Based on these observations, a new flood control strategy by controllingthe surface runoff on agricultural land is proposed. The strategy isdescribed as the technical activities in the form of utilization of the farmland partition as the temporary storage facilities. To achieve the maximum result, it should be followed by the following activities: a) increasing the capacity of interception and infiltration by the land conservation; b) increasing the capacity of the water reservoir on the land by raising the embankment design from 30 cm to 50 cm; c) shortening the water puddle time by constructing the absorption wells. The result of the hydrological analysis shows that the new strategy is able to reduce the flood discharge peak of 20% to 67%.

Technology innovations occur in stages. The stages begin by discovering scientific knowledge generated from basic research. The findings of basic research are used to generate developments associated with its ‘applicability’, and are then developed and tested in accordance with knowledge, economically relevant procedures, and technically sound (development process) procedures. Moreover, in-depth knowledge investigation (learning process) will produce innovation of equipment, processes, and products. Innovations will undergo a process of adaptation (adaptation process) in order to meet technical standards, productivity, and social influence of technology application. This paper constructs a model of sustainable knowledge and technology. The proposed model identifies the key factors of knowledge and technology transfer. The model was constructed based on system-based model of inputs-transformations-outputs.

Numerous image matching methods for wide range of applications have been invented in the last decade. When high precision and reliability of the object space point coordinates is highly demanding, a stereo image matching method which can produce conjugate point of images and a standard deviation of the matched point is examined. In this approach, image gradients are used locally to seek a conjugate patch. The normalized cross correlation is first utilized to estimate an approximate location of the conjugate patch between two normalized images. Then the location of conjugate patch is further refined by using Gaussian-Newton least squares image matching. Both radiometric and geometric parameters of least squares models are used selectively in seeking the best possible accuracy. Iterative computation is conducted to incrementally refine the geometric location of the conjugate point. After a matched patch has been found, a variant-covariant matrix of the parameter is analyzed to inform the precision of the conjugate points both on images and object space. This method can compute high precision object space points and some examples demonstrate the insight of the approach.

Recently, UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) gain a wider acceptance from many disciplines. One major application is for monitoring and mapping. Flying beyond eye sight autonomously and collecting data over large areas are their obvious advantages. To support a large scale urban city mapping, we have developed a UAV system which can carry a compact digital camera as well as a navigational grade of a Global Positioning System (GPS) board mounted on the vehicle. Unfortunately, such a navigational system fails to provide sufficient accuracy required to process images become a large scale map. Ubiquitous digital compact cameras, despite their low cost benefits, are widely known to suffer instabilities in their internal lenses and electronics imaging system. Hence these cameras are less suitable for mapping related purposes. However, this paper presents a photogrammetric technique to precisely determine intrinsic and extrinsic camera parameters of photographed images provided that sufficient numbers of surveyed control points are available. A rigorous Mathematical model is derived to compute each image position with respect to the imaging coordinate system as well as a location of the principal point of an image sensor and the focal length of the camera. An iterative Gaussian-Newton least squares adjustment method is utilized to compute those parameters. Finally, surveyed data are processed and elaborated to justify the mathematical models.

Knowledge and technologies play an essential part in this rapid-response capability, by maintaining opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation needed in the development of sustainable competitive advantage. However, the low capability of SMEs to provide the required resources is a barrier to the in-house technology development. Consequently, external resources such as government, businesses, and universities, to support their performance in developing technological capabilities utilize so-called ‘knowledge and technology transfer’ programs, which are needed as a shortcut to improve technological process innovation. This study provides theoretical and empirical support for the role of government, businesses, and universities in transferring knowledge and technology for SMEs’ innovativeness in emerging economies and the impact of process innovation on SMEs’ competitiveness. The results suggest policy directions for governments to support SMEs in emerging economies.

Technology transfer is a way to improve technology capability, especially for Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Emerging Economies such as in Indonesia. SMEs are often thought to have insufficient resources for advancing their in-house technology development. Therefore, SMEs need technology transfer programs to increase their technology capability. Government, Business, Universities have been involved in technology transfer program in this country. Using data from about 200 Javanese metal-based SMEs, this paper discovers the technology transfer program from Government, Business, Universities in advancing the SMEs technology capability in Indonesia. The results show that substantial numbers of small to medium enterprises are actively involved in technology transfer programs.

The millennial generation has an important role in actualizing environmentally friendly residence. Referring to the behavioural theory, a consumer’s Perceived Behavioural Control (PBC) is one of purchase intention antecedents. Studies revealing the millennials’ control behaviour on purchasing an eco-friendly house, especially in Indonesia, are still limited. Moreover, environmentally friendly housing is still new to prospective house buyers in Indonesia; so, how to control their behaviour toward purchasing behaviour or willingness to pay has not been clearly known. Therefore, this study is conducted to explore the millennial generation’s PBC on an eco-friendly house purchase intention. This is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach focusing on observing the perceived behavioural control phenomenon of prospective house buyers. The data was collected through a semi-structured in-depth interview with nine prospective house buyers in Surabaya, East Java. This research found that the themes of millennial house buyers perceived behavioural control toward an eco-friendly house purchase intention were ‘perceived difficulty’ and ‘perceived benefit’. The finding implies that housing developers and government should provide convenience to develop eco-friendly houses and be consistent to complete the buildings with facilities; the facilities will especially support the millennial costumers’ sustainable living and the sustainable development in Indonesia.

The environmentally friendly manufacturing influences the worldwide community both private and public to run the concept of green productivity. The concept of green productivity drives the organisation to seek integration of sustainable environmental management and environmentally friendly production system design. The lack of green and sustainable concept have reduced the competitiveness of the organisation due to the low capability to meet the international standard of ISO 14000. One of the important thing of being ‘green’ is our capability to deal with the pollution. Continuous improvement approach to achieve green productivity is an effort to increase sustainable competitiveness by maintaining green product and reducing the pollution. The continuous improvement to achieve the capability to overcome the pollution problem will lead into tangible and intangible benefit. It is therefore the green productivity is crucial. In this research, the concept of green produtivity and continuous improvement approah are utilised to overcome the problems of pollution in manufacturing industries.
