To develop an environmentally acceptable corrosion inhibitor Rosa damascene extract (RD) served as the main ingredient in H2SO4 pickling processes. X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), technique of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), polarization (PP) curves, and tests of weight loss (WL) have all been utilized to examine the inhibitory behavior of Rosa damascene on C‐steel corrosion in 1 M H2SO4 environment. The results show that the extract effectively inhibited the Zn′ corrosion in 1 M H2SO4. The inhibition was more effective at higher concentrations and temperatures. The inhibitory efficiency increased to 93.5% at a higher applied temperature (45°C) and higher Rosa damascene concentration (300 ppm). However, utilizing the weight loss method at potassium iodide addition, the inhibitory effectiveness of 300 ppm of Rosa damascene was synergistically increased from 75.0% to 96.1% at 25°C. Temkin isotherm was congruent with the adsorption process that produced the inhibitory impact on the C‐steel. The chemical adhesion of the Rosa damascene extract to the surface of the C‐steel was determined by the free energy of adsorption (ΔGoads = 40.5 kJ/mol.). Different electrochemical techniques, such as electrochemical "impedance spectroscopy (EIS), electrochemical frequency modulation (EFM), and potentiodynamic polarization (PDP), and mass reduction at various temeratures were used to evaluate the inhibitory potential of Terfeziaceae extract as a corrosion inhibitor for Cu in HNO3 corrosive arrangements. The adsorption was analyzed utilizing Temkin adsorption isotherm, and the adsorption factors were considered. One of the main ways that metallic materials lose their useful qualities is through dissolution; hence corrosion management is crucial for protecting the metal. In this paper, new thienylpicolinamidine derivatives, namely; 5-[5-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)thiophen-2-yl]picolinamidine hydrochloride salt (MA-1517), 5-[5-(4-methoxyphenyl)thiophen-2-yl]picolinamidine hydrochloride salt (MA-1543), and 5-[5-(3-chloro-4-methoxyphenyl)thiophen-2-yl]picolinamidine hydrochloride salt (MA-1516), were utilized as corrosion inhibitors for C-steel in 1.0 mol L−1 HCl. Their corrosion inhibiting impact can be demonstrated by experimental methods as chemical approaches (mass reduction) and electrochemical techniques (electrochemical impedance examination, EIS, and Tafel polarization). These methods gave inhibition efficiencies (IE%) of 97.41 %, 93.84 % and 91 % for MA-1517, MA-1543 and MA-1516, respectively at 323 K and concentration 17 × 10−6 mol. L−1. The rise in IE% with rising inhibitor concentration and temperature illustrate that the adsorption of these studied compounds is chemisorption, declared via the Langmuir isotherm. In order to create an eco-friendly corrosion inhibitor Punica granatum extract (PG) was employed as the primary component for use in H2SO4 pickling procedures. The inhibition behaviour of C-steel in H2SO4 has been studied using weightloss tests, polarization curves, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The outcomes demonstrate the extract's effective inhibition in 1 M H2SO4. Both an increase in concentration and temperature boosted the effectiveness of the inhibition. With the greater concentration of PG (300 ppm) and the higher applied temperature (45°C), the inhibition effectiveness reached 91.7%. Nevertheless, the inhibitory efficacy increased synergistically with the addition of potassium iodide, increasing from 81.5% to 95.0% at 25°C using the weight-loss technique. Adsorption on the C-steel caused the inhibitory effect, and this adsorption mechanism was compatible with the Temkin isotherm. According to the free energy of adsorption (ΔGo ads = 39.5 kJ/mol.), the PG extract adheres chemically to the surface of the C-steel. The efficient inhibitor Punica granatum (PG) extract may prevent corrosion of C-steel in H2SO4 solution. The impact of aqueous Mentha piperita extract (MPE) as a corrosion inhibitor for low carbon steel (LCS) in NaCl/Na2S solution has been investigated using chemical and electrochemical techniques to evaluate the protection performance of MPE. "As the concentration of the extract increased, the protection efficiency (PE) increased, reaching 91.2% at 300 ppm, whereas the increase in temperature favoured to slow decrease".The extract has been physically adsorbed on the metal surface according to the Temkin isotherm. Polarization data reveal that this extract acts as a mixed inhibitor. The mechanism of corrosion protection of MPE has been discussed from electrochemical techniques. MPE has been adsorbed on LCS obeying Temkin isotherm. Surface morphology techniques such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy have been used to demonstrate the creation of a protective coating on the LCS in the presence of MPE.
