BIOLOGICAL evolution , *ORGANISMS - Abstract
In order to explain the way life evolved on Earth, different forms of evolution of the living matter were detailed; we took into account the changes that occurred in biological information, in the kinds of energy utilized by different organisms, the evolution of physiological and the morphological characteristics of the intraand interspecific relations, the main stages of the evolution of the hierarchy of living systems and, as a coronally, the current manners of ordering and classifying living beings. Since the evolution of life was tightly interconnected with that of the nonliving world, a distinct chapter is dedicated to the evolution of the non-living environment. Finally, we enumerate the stages of the evolution of interrelations connecting life and non-living environment (ecological evolution) at the planetary level. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
