The purpose of this research is to know how to apply financing and financing effectiveness through the financial technology peer to peer to SMMB in Indonesia. The Research methods used are qualitative. Primary data sources through interviews and secondary data are obtained from financial statements and books. The result of the research is the process of fintech financing on P2P lending products that often occur namely capital loans with the following financing requirements: Complement the files related to personal data and business, the application process is simpler & fast disbursement without the need to submit a guarantee. Then, based on observations conducted through previous research that financing through P2P fintech in SMMB in Indonesia has not been effective enough, where the company still has Not implemented the 5c principles in providing Financing, as well as the company still ignore the rules and restrictions issued by OJK number 77/POJK. However, the Management of fund Distribution services is still not qualified in minimizing risk, as well as the operation of the company is still less cautious so that it impacts on losses and debts that accumulate For SMMB businesses.

This article using discourse theory, popularized by Foucault, is used to examine the production and use of knowledge and practices relevant to the discourse that applies to the film, television, and media studies study program curriculum. This research uses the interpretive phenomenology method (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis), and the classification and framing of data are carried out through focused group discussions. The purposeful sampling technique was chosen through a maximum variation sampling strategy involving eight research subjects to understand the various experiences of campuses that already have similar programs and are considered the most "oriented" stakeholders. The result is that the curriculum discourse produces four themes: scientific vision and mission, graduate profile, learning outcomes, and curriculum structure. In the experience model, participants express discourse themes with actual social reality. In the end, how discourse speaks is expected to be a critical dimension in forming the Film, Television, and Media Studies program curriculum. Abstrak Artikel ini menggunakan teori Diskursus yang dipopulerkan oleh Foucault digunakan dengan tujuan untuk melihat produksi dan penggunaan pengetahuan dan praktiknya yang relevansinya dengan wacana yang berlaku untuk kurikulum prodi kajian film, televisi, dan media. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode fenomenologi interpretatif (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis), klasifikasi dan pembingkaian data dilakukan melalui kegiatan diskusi terpumpun/Focus Group Discussion. Teknik purposeful sampling dipilih melalui strategi maximal variation sampling dengan melibatkan delapan subjek penelitian untuk memahami beragam pengalaman dari kampus-kampus yang sudah memiliki program serupa dan dianggap paling "berorientasi" sebagai pemangku kepentingan. Hasilnya bahwa diskursus kurikulum menghasilkan empat tema yaitu visi misi keilmuan, profil lulusan, capaian pembelajaran, dan struktur kurikulum. Model pengalaman, partisipan mengungkapkan tema wacana dengan realitas sosial yang sesungguhnya. Pada akhirnya cara diskursus berbicara diharapkan menjadi dimensi kunci dalam pembentukan kurikulum pada program studi Kajian Film, Televisi, dan Media. Jugong is a traditional fishing boat that holds great significance for the fishing community in Karangtalun Village, Cilacap. It is valued for its aesthetic qualities that are expressed through its unique characteristics. This paper explores the functional value of the jugong, the process of its creation by the fishermen, and the artistic expression involved in its design, with the ultimate goal of revealing the aesthetic value of the jugong in general. In order to approach, understand, and reveal the aesthetic values of the jugong, which comes from the village fishermen as cultural actors, this research uses the ethnoart perspective as a method. In order to reveal the functional values, we use functional aesthetic theory as an approach method. In addition, to understand how fishermen create jugong, we use mimetic style theory and the aesthetic theory of expression to reveal the fishermen's attitude and behavior during the process of jugong creation. The study results show that the aesthetic value of the jugong is reflected in the traditions that impose strict rules on the fishermen. The community also appreciates the sensitive attitude of the fishermen towards their cultural products by respecting their identity and pride, which includes their aesthetics.

Spar-type floating offshore wind turbine has been massively developed considering its design simplicity and stability to withstand the wave-induced motion. However, the variation of the local sea level and the readiness of supporting production facilities demand the spar design to adapt in a viable way. Considering this, the present article investigated how the slenderness (length over diameter ratio) and the roundness of cross section influence the hydrodynamic characteristics, which are the crucial parameters of floater performances. The OC3-Hywind spar-type floating platform was adapted as the reference model. The length of the reference floater was then varied with a ratio of 1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3 and the diameter was proportionally scaled to obtain constant buoyancy. The number of the sides which indicated the roundness of the cross section was varied to be 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, and infinity (cylindrical shape). The analysis was conducted using potential flow theory in a boundary element method solver through an open-source code NEMOH. Initially, panel convergence was conducted and compared with the experimental results of the reference model to obtain the appropriate simulation settings before being used for the case configuration analysis. Results stated that the roundness effect with sides greater than 16 had little effect on dynamic characteristics. Meanwhile, the spar with the largest diameter was more stable against the translational motion.

Program Rehabilitasi Bersumberdaya Masyarakat adalah program pembinaan wilayah dalam hal pencegahan kedisabilitasan/kecacatan, deteksi dan rehabilitasi/habilitasi segala aspek kehidupan untuk pemberdayaan Penyandang Disabilitas, keluarga dan masyarakat. Pada tugas skripsi ini penulis mengangkat masalah, bagaimana membuat sistem informasi pendataan dan dapat di implementasikan pada organisasi Pusat Studi dan Informasi Kedisabilitasan Indonesia. Untuk mendukung perancangan system informasi ini penulis mengumpulkan informasi melalui observasi, studi kepustakaan, dan dokumentasi. Program ini dibuat dengan Bahasa pemograman PHP dan MySql sebagai basis data. Sistem ini menggunakan metode Sosfware Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan menggunakan salah satu modelnya yaitu model Waterfall dengan tahapan dalam perancangan ini meliputi analisis kebutuhan perangkat lunak dan perangkat keras, perancangan sistem, pengkodean, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan program yang dibuat. Sistem Informasi yang dirancang ini dapat membantu organisasi Pusat Studi dan Informasi Kecacatan Indonesia dalam mengelola database, sehingga memudahkan dalam proses evaluasi dan monitoring program Rehabiliasi Bersumberdaya Masyarakat. Background: Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are an emerging global public health problem. Objectives: To assess the prevalence of NCDs and their risk factors among adults on antiretroviral therapy (ART). Method: This was a cross-sectional study (July 2019 – January 2020) in Limpopo, South Africa. Patients were enrolled if they were ≥ 40 years, HIV-positive, and virologically suppressed on ART. Data were analysed descriptively, and a binomial regression model was used to identify risk factors for NCDs. Results: The majority of participants (65%; 319/488) were women. Most (83%; 405/488) were aged 40–59 years; 60% (285/472) were overweight or obese. Based on self-report, 22% (107/488) were currently smokers. Almost half (44%) 213/488) reported daily consumption of vegetables and 65% (319/488) exercised regularly and 39% (190/488) reported treatment for another chronic disease. The leading comorbid conditions were hypertension (32%; 158/488) and diabetes mellitus (5%; 24/488). Risk factors for hypertension included age 60 years and older (relative risk [RR]: 1.72; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.29–2.30) diabetes (RR: 1.42; 95% CI: 1.08–1.87), overweight (RR: 1.32; 95% CI: 1.03–1.69) and obesity (RR: 1.69; 95% CI: 1.32–2.17). Conclusion: There is a high prevalence, both of risk factors for NCDs and multimorbidity ( 1 chronic disease) in patients who are ≥ 40 years and virologically suppressed on ART.

Maize is one of the important staple crops. The process of cultivating corn cannot be separated from pests and plant diseases, one of the attacking pests is Spodoptera frugiperda, which can attack the growing points of plants causing a decrease in corn production. Based on previous research conducted in vitro, bioinsecticide of Bacillus thuringiensis-base (Bt-base) liquid formula (namely Bashield®) was able to reduce pupal weight, the proportion of larvae-pupae, and pupal becomes abnormal. Action that can be taken to control this attack is by utilizing biological agent, B. thuringiensis strain BT2, as an alternative control. This research aims to evaluate or to determine the effectiveness of a new bioinsecticide of Bt-base liquid formula (Bashield®), as a control agent for S. frugiperda on maize in the field. This research was prepared at the Laboratory of Plant Protection and Environment, Universitas Trunojoyo Madura, and was conducted at the Horticultural Seed Garden, Socah District, Bangkalan Regency, East Java, Indonesia (7°05'17.2"S 112°42'32.0"E). The design used was a complete randomized block design (CRBD) with 4 treatments and 6 replications. The data were analyzed using 5% ANOVA and if there was a significant effect, then a DMRT follow-up test was carried out with a 5% level. The results showed that the 15% treatment was able to kill test larvae up to 78% with a high virulence level, and reduced damage up to 100%. In conclusion, the new Bt-base liquid formula, Bashield®, has good potential for effective biocontrol and contributed as a new biopesticide for S. frugiperda.

This work made a comparison of the effects of selected element formulations (EFs) through nonlinear finite element analysis (NLFEA) and physical configurations in scenario design, particularly target locations. The combined results help in quantifying structural performance, focusing on crashworthiness criteria. The analysis involves nonlinear dynamic finite element methods, using an explicit approach applied to an idealized system. This system models ship-to-ship collisions, specifically the interaction between Ro and Ro and cargo reefer vessels, with one striking the other. Summarizing initial NLFEA results reveals that the chosen EF significantly influences the crashworthiness criteria. Notably, differences in formulations lead to different calculation times. The Belytschko–Tsay (BT) EF is the quickest, followed by the Belytschko–Leviathan (BL), with around a 36% difference. Conversely, formulations such as the Hughes–Liu involve much longer processing times, more than twice that of BT. To address the potential impact of shear locking and hourglassing on calculation accuracy during impact, the fully integrated (FI) version of the EF is used. It mitigates these undesired events. For formulations with the same approach, the FI BT formulation suppresses hourglassing effectively, unlike others that show orthogonal hourglassing increments. To ensure reliability, rules were set to assess hourglassing. The criterion is that the ratio of hourglass energy to internal energy should be ≤10%. All formulations meet this criterion and are suitable as geometric models in NLFEA. Regarding reliability and processing time, analyzing the computation time offers insights. Based on calculations, BL is the fastest, followed by Belytschko–Wong–Chiang, while the FI BT formulation takes more time for the same collision case.

Abstract Due to the overexpression or amplification of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) with poor prognosis in a myriad of human tumors, recent studies have focused on HER2-targeted therapies. Deregulation in HER2 signaling pathways is accompanied by sustained tumor cells growth concomitant with their migration and also tumor angiogenesis and metastasis by stimulation of proliferation of a network of blood vessels. A large number of studies have provided clear evidence that the emerging HER2-directed treatments could be the outcome of patients suffering from HER2 positive breast and also gastric/gastroesophageal cancers. Thanks to its great anti-tumor competence, immunotherapy using HER2-specific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) expressing immune cell has recently attracted increasing attention. Human T cells and also natural killer (NK) cells can largely be found in the tumor microenvironment, mainly contributing to the tumor immune surveillance. Such properties make them perfect candidate for genetically modification to express constructed CARs. Herein, we will describe the potential targets of the HER2 signaling in tumor cells to clarify HER2-mediated tumorigenesis and also discuss recent findings respecting the HER2-specific CAR-expressing immune cells (CAR T and CAR NK cell) for the treatment of HER2-expressing tumors.

Host genetic factors are known to modify the susceptibility, severity, and outcomes of COVID-19 and vary across populations. However, continental Africans are yet to be adequately represented in such studies despite the importance of genetic factors in understanding Africa’s response to the pandemic. We describe the development of a research resource for coronavirus host genomics studies in South Africa known as COVIGen-SA—a multicollaborator strategic partnership designed to provide harmonised demographic, clinical, and genetic information specific to Black South Africans with COVID-19. Over 2,000 participants have been recruited to date. Preliminary results on 1,354 SARS-CoV-2 positive participants from four participating studies showed that 64.7% were female, 333 had severe disease, and 329 were people living with HIV. Through this resource, we aim to provide insights into host genetic factors relevant to African-ancestry populations, using both genome-wide association testing and targeted sequencing of important genomic loci. This project will promote and enhance partnerships, build skills, and develop resources needed to address the COVID-19 burden and associated risk factors in South African communities.

The organic waste treatment process using Black Soldier Larvae (BSF) produces liquid biofertilizer (LB) that contains functional microbes and macro and micronutrients that potentially can stimulate plant growth. The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of liquid biofertilizer from waste bioconversion by BSF on the growth of arabica coffee seedlings. The experiment used a randomized block design with 7 treatments, which consisted of: no treatment (control), 1.5% LB spraying, 3% LB spraying, 6% LB spraying, 3% LB watering, 6% LB watering, and 12% LB watering, with 4 replications and each replication containing 10 plants. All treatments were given once a month, to the 1-month-old seedlings. The test results showed that the application of LB significantly increased stem diameter and the number of leaves of Arabica coffee seedlings 4 months after application (MAA). In seedlings aged 4 MAA, spraying 6% LB resulted in the highest increase in stem diameter, while the highest number of leaves was obtained from watering 3% LB. Additionally, in 12 months old seedlings, Arabica coffee's highest fresh shoot weight was obtained by spraying 1.5% LB compared to other treatments.

Kemiri Sunan [Reutealis trisperma (Blanco) Airy Shaw] is a crop oil-producing plant with great potential as a source of raw materials for the oleochemical, biofuels, and other derivate product industries. Here, we focus on the prospect and potential of the kemiri sunan plant as a potential source of biofuel from inedible crops. The main potential lies in the fruit, which a dry seed production rate of 10-15 tons/ha/year or equivalent to about 8 tonnes of crude oil/ha/yr or about 7 tonnes of biodiesel/ha/yr. This uniqueness can be used as a source of raw materials for biofuel and other chemical industries that do not compete with crop oils for food. However, its current development in Indonesia is still constrained by the availability of land. The alternative that can be taken is to utilize unproductive land, including sub-optimal land, ex-mining land, and other degraded lands. Constraints of limited land for the development of kemiri sunan can be overcome by utilizing less productive lands, including ex-mining land, dry climate dry land, and reservoir buffer land. The condition of the land is sufficient to support the growth and development of the kemiri sunan plant which is quite good. The plant's character is in the form of a tree with a shady leaf crown and a deep root system that makes this plant very useful as a conservation plant on these lands.

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational learning and knowledge Donating and collecting knowledge on teacher performance in SMA Islam Sultan Agung 1 Semarang. In this study proposed several variables, namely organizational learning as independent variables, the performance of human resources as the dependent variable, as well as collecting Donating knowledge and knowledge as an intervening variable. This type of research in this study is explanatory research and using research methods to the census of 60 teachers in SMA Islam Sultan Agung 1 Semarang. The first phase tested the validity and reliability questions for each variable. The second stage regression test organizational learning, knowledge donating and collecting knowledge on teacher performance. The results in this study were all positive significant variable, except for the variable of organizational learning negatively influence significantly to the performance of human resources in SMA Islam Sultan Agung 1 Semarang.

Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) merupakan turunan dari MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc Network) sebagai inovasi baru dalam dunia teknologi yang membantu kebutuhan manusia dalam berkomunikasi. VANET dapat mendukung komunikasi langsung antara kendaraan (Vehicle to Vehicle) dan antara kendaraan-infrastruktur (Vehicle to Infrastructure) dengan adanya infrastruktur jaringan nirkabel. Namun, implementasi VANET di dunia masih sulit dilakukan sehingga banyak penelitian dilakukan dengan membuat simulasi menggunakan mobility generator dan network simulator. Pada makalah ini yang diteliti yaitu performa skema VANET yang dihasilkan oleh mobility generator SUMO dan Vanetmobisim. Penelitian ini menggunakan NS-2 sebagai simulator VANET dengan protokol reaktif AODV sebagai routing protocol. Skenario VANET dengan peta berbentuk grid dan peta riil Sutomo,Surabaya digunakan pada kedua generator SUMO dan VanetMobisim dengan memvariasikan jumlah kendaraan simulasi. Matriks evaluasi kinerja yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay, dan routing overhead. Dalam ketiga skenario, performa routing protokol SUMO-AODV lebih baik. VanetMobisim-AODV, dikarenakan lebih banyak lalu lintas dan rute yang putus, menghasilkan performa yang baik namun masih di bawah pesaingnya.

Turbin air arus lintang merupakan salah satu alat yang cukup banyak diaplikasikan di lingkungan sekitar kita terutama di proyek mikrohidro di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari unjuk kerja turbin dengan variasi posisi pipa pancar dengan variasi putaran turbin dan penambahan lorong pengarah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimental nyata (true experimental research). Jenis penelitian ini digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh variasi sudut pipa pancar terhadap unjuk kerja turbin arus lintang. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel bebas debit air sebesar 2 liter/s, 2.5 liter/s, 3 liter/s, 3.5 liter/s, 4liter/s dan 4.5 liter/s. Dari pengujian yang dilakukan disimpulkan bahwa, besar sudut pipa pancar mempengaruhi unjuk kerja (Torsi, Daya dan Efisiensi) turbin arus lintang. Pada pengujian sudut pipa pancar sebesar 15° dengan debit 4 liter/s dapat menghasilkan efisiensi yang paling tinggi pada pengujian dengan lorong pengarah yaitusebesar 32.67 %. The bio-mediated synthesis of nanoparticles offers a sustainable and eco-friendly approach. In the present study, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were synthesized using Joshanda extract, a commercially available herbal formulation derived from a traditional medicinal plant, as a reducing and stabilizing agent. The as-synthesized AgNPs were characterized using UV-Vis spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering (DLS), X-ray Diffraction (XRD) study, and Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) analysis. UV-Vis spectroscopy exhibited a prominent absorption peak at 430 nm, confirming the formation of AgNPs. DLS analysis revealed the size distribution of the nanoparticles, ranging from 80 to 100 nm, and zeta potential measurements indicated a surface charge of - 14.4 mV. The XRD analysis provide evidence for the presence of a face-centered cubic structure within the silver nanoparticles. FTIR analysis further elucidated the interaction of bioactive compounds from the Joshanda extract with the AgNPs' surface. Strong peaks at 765-829 cm -1 indicated C-Cl stretching vibrations of alkyl halides, while the stretching of alkenes C=C was observed at 1641 cm -1 . Moreover, the presence of alcohols and phenol (OH) groups was identified at 3448 cm -1 , suggesting their involvement in nanoparticle stabilization. The antimicrobial potential of the synthesized AgNPs was evaluated against both gram-negative Pseudomonas aeruginosa and gram-positive Streptococcus mutans using zone of inhibition assays. The AgNPs exhibited remarkable inhibitory effects against both types of bacteria. Additionally, AgNPs-treated groups demonstrated a significant increase in reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels, indicating potential of as-synthesized AgNPs in disruption of the target microbial membranes. Furthermore, the as-synthesized AgNPs exhibited notable anti-biofilm properties by effectively hindering the development of mature biofilms. This study highlights the efficient green synthesis of AgNPs using Joshanda extract and also provides insights into their physico-chemical properties of as-synthesized nanoparticles. The demonstrated antimicrobial activity against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, along with biofilm inhibition potential, underscores the promising applications of the as-synthesized AgNPs in the field of biomedical and environmental sciences. Innovations for a low-carbon economy and carbon neutrality are the focal points of technology development in the energy sector. This paper aims to investigate the progress of technology and advancements in the energy sector and the implications for Indonesia via two routes, viz., renewable energy and energy efficiency. The methodology employed in this research is divided into two parts. Firstly, an extensive literature review was conducted to identify prevalent research trends within the energy sector. Second, a case study method was performed to gain a comprehensive understanding of energy transformation within the electricity and steel sectors. The study presents two key findings. First, the energy sector has experienced significant technological disruption, providing the opportunity for Indonesia to transition towards a low-carbon development. This includes smart grids, energy-intensive industries, electric vehicles, and storage (pumped storage and battery). Second, lessons from the steel industry show that the technology selection is sensitive to parent company, and this is not easily captured in literature studies. Transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) plays multiple homeostatic roles in the regulation of inflammation, proliferation, differentiation and would healing of various tissues. Many studies have demonstrated that TGF-β stimulates activation and proliferation of fibroblasts, which result in extracellular matrix deposition. Its increased expression can result in many fibrotic diseases, and the level of expression is often correlated with disease severity. On this basis, inhibition of TGF-β and its activity has great therapeutic potential for the treatment of various fibrotic diseases such as pulmonary fibrosis, renal fibrosis, systemic sclerosis and etc. By understanding the molecular mechanism of TGF-β signaling and activity, researchers were able to develop different strategies in order to modulate the activity of TGF-β. Antisense oligonucleotide was developed to target the mRNA of TGF-β to inhibit its expression. There are also neutralizing monoclonal antibodies that can target the TGF-β ligands or α v β 6 integrin to prevent binding to receptor or activation of latent TGF-β respectively. Soluble TGF-β receptors act as ligand traps that competitively bind to the TGF-β ligands. Many small molecule inhibitors have been developed to inhibit the TGF-β receptor at its cytoplasmic domain and also intracellular signaling molecules. Peptide aptamer technology has been used to target downstream TGF-β signaling. Here, we summarize the underlying mechanism of TGF-β-induced fibrosis and also review various strategies of inhibiting TGF-β in both preclinical and clinical studies., (Copyright © 2021 Elsevier B.V.
