ARTICLE HIGLIGHTS This study revealed 19 morphological variations of edible wedge clams, Donax faba (Bivalvia: Donacidae), from Kutang Beach, Lamongan, Indonesia, which has significant role as part of coastal ecosystem. This reseach also highlights the DNA barcoding of Donax faba based on COI gene (Cytochrome C Oxidase Subunit I). The average genetic distance of the research samples was 0.46%, while the value of this parameter between the research samples and the ingroup was found to be 1.51%. ABSTRACT Donax faba is a type of wedge clams with significant ecological and economic roles, as well as variations in color, pattern, and morphometric properties. Recently, a particular population of unidentified D. faba was reported from Kutang Beach, Lamongan, Indonesia. Therefore, this research aimed to assess the morphological variations and molecular characteristics of D. faba obtained from Kutang Beach based on COI gene. A total of 288 samples were collected during the lowest tide for morphological characterization of the color, pattern, and morphometrics of the shells. Additionally, molecular characterization was conducted based on the composition of nucleotide bases and amino acids of COI gene, genetic distance, as well as the relationships. The results showed that D. faba had 19 morphological variations, among which the most dominant type contained a whitish exterior with brown spots and a whitish purple interior. The average genetic distance of the samples was 0.46%, while the value was calculated as 1.51% between the samples and the ingroup. Automatic Barcode Gap Discovery (ABGD) analysis performed using a prior maximal distance of 0.001 showed the separation of these species into distinct categories.

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) has attracted much attention because of their desirable physicochemical properties especially in the water splitting process. In this work pure and Fe-doped TiO2 compounds are studies theoretically with the help of Generalized Gradient Approximation with the revised Pardew–Burke–Ernzerh (RPBE) exchange–correlation scheme. Total Density of States (TDOS) and Partial Density of States (DOS) were analyzed in detail which show that iron (Fe) and oxygen (O) orbitals hybridize, especially in the region of the doping system conduction band minima for both modes. Additionally, this interaction produces an energy level that effectively reduces the bandgap of the adsorbed system. Optical properties were elucidated which shows that Fe-doped TiO2 system results in high absorption and photoconductivity. Moreover, the results demonstrate low bandgap energy which is suitable for the reduction in water splitting without the need for external energy. Magnetic properties demonstrated that Fe-doped TiO2 systems show very low diamagnetic responses. The calculated elastic properties of Fe-doped TiO2 indicate ductile nature of the material with a strong average bond strength. Fe-doped TiO2 exhibited less microcracks with a mechanically stable composition.

Here we report the synthesis of Sm-doped Na0.5Bi4.5Ti4O15 (Na0.5Sm0.5Bi4Ti4O15) lead-free ceramics via a conventional solid-state technique. Investigations of Na0.5Bi4.5Ti4O15 (NBT) and Na0.5Sm0.5Bi4.5Ti4O15 (NSBT) ceramics were demonstrated in detail to understand the composition-based structure-property of Aurivillius compounds and related functional material. Dielectric properties for frequency and temperature in a wide range were analyzed. The conduction activation energy values of NSBT ceramics are obtained to be 1.40 eV, whereas, the NBT ceramics get the value to be 1.31 eV. At higher temperatures, the conduction activation energy value of NSBT ceramics is 1.32 eV for both frequencies of 100 Hz and 1 kHz, whereas, for NBT compounds, the calculated value is 1.27 eV for both frequencies. The simulation performed on the impedance data for capacitive and resistance elements shows well-fitting curves which indicates a single relaxation behavior in the material. Similarly, the AC-conductivity data were analyzed which gives different conduction processes and relaxation activation energies in the NSBT ceramics.

Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) can be trained through concepts in science learning generally, and biology in particular. Teacher competence to facilitate students skilled HOTS can be improved through scientific forums, one of which is training and workshops. This activity is an alternative for teachers to refresh their understanding and pedagogical skills and build enthusiasm through various modeling and information to generate motivation. Training activities on the preparation of argumentative questions to train HOTS for Davao Indonesian School Teachers of Philippines were held in two stages, the first stage was carried out synchronously through online meetings using Zoom Meeting, while in the second stage, training was carried out asynchronously using Google Classroom. Trainees' responses to the implementation of the training were netted with an online questionnaire using Google Form. The data were analyzed in a quantitative descriptive. The results of this study showed that all participants rated that the material presented by the resource persons was good, which included material on HOTS, STEM approaches, and argumentative thinking. In addition, participants also gave positive responses to the workshop on developing argumentative questions, the ability of resource persons, and the technical implementation of the training. Participants hope that this activity can be followed up with offline training.

Studies on positive education that integrates traditional education with happiness and well-being is increasing rapidly. Unlike previous studies that were conducted in context of the Western world, the study aims to examine the relevance of special positive education to the education system in Indonesia particularly at pesantren. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design examining the concept of positive education offered by Seligman and its relevance to the education system at pesantren. The results show that the positive education program was designed at pesantren to teach well-being and achievement. Its implementation consists of several stages: teaching, embedding, and living positive education. The education system at pesantren is carried out in a curriculum namely the academic curriculum and the hidden curriculum. The hidden curriculum becomes a medium for transformation of santri character, values, morals, resilience, and the meaning of life based on religious values. There is a relevance relationship between the education system offered in positive education and the education system applied at pesantren. Pesantren in fact have implemented the principles offered by positive education although they have not taught specifically in one material about well-being, happiness and resilience as programmed in the implementation of positive education.

Era digital 5.0 membawa dampak besar bagi sektor layanan kesehatan. Meningkatnya kompetisi antar rumah sakit menjadi salah satu alasan perlunya inovasi strategi pemasaran untuk menjaga loyalitas pasien rumah sakit sebagai konsumen. Salah satu strategi yang dapat mempengaruhi loyalitas pasien rumah sakit adalah penggunaan Electronic Customer Relationship Management (e-CRM). E-CRM adalah Customer Relationship Management (CRM) yang dibuat secara elektronik menggunakan web browser, internet dan media elektronik lain seperti call center, email, dan personalisasi yang menjadi salah satu cara untuk melakukan pendekatan dengan pasien dengan salah satu tujuannya yaitu meningkatnya loyalitas pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan e-CRM terhadap loyalitas pasien di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yaitu berupa studi literatur menggunakan sumber data artikel penelitian, prosiding, systematic review yang terbit tahun 2017-2022 dari mesin pencari Google Scholar dan Pubmed. Metodologi dalam penelitian ini diadaptasi dari kerangka tinjauan pustaka oleh vom Brocke yang diawali dengan mendefinisikan ruang lingkup tinjauan dan diikuti dengan konseptualisasi topik kemudian diikuti dengan pencarian literatur, analisis literatur, dan agenda penelitian yang berisi pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang lebih mendalam untuk penelitian masa depan. Dari 1.691 jurnal nasional dan jurnal internasional yang diidentifikasi, terdapat 53 jurnal yang relevan dengan aplikasi e-CRM, kemudian didapatkan delapan jurnal yang masuk dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan studi literatur yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa E-CRM sebagai strategi untuk menjaga hubungan rumah sakit dan pasien dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti faktor organisasi, sarana, serta lingkungan. Aplikasi strategi e-CRM juga mempengaruhi kelangsungan aktivitas rumah sakit melalui peningkatan loyalitas dan retensi pasien. Selain itu faktor keberhasilan penerapan E-CRM sebagai alat untuk menjaga dan meningkatkan loyalitas pasien adalah faktor manusia, diharapkan petugas medis memiliki sikap melayani yang baik, sopan, adil dan humanis. Abstract The digital era 5.0 has had a major impact on the healthcare sector. Increased competition between hospitals is one of the reasons for the need for marketing strategy innovation to maintain the loyalty of hospital patients as consumers. One strategy that can affect the loyalty of hospital patients is the use of Electronic Customer Relationship Management (e-CRM). E-CRM is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) that is made electronically using a web browser, internet and other electronic media such as call centers, email, and personalization which is one way to approach patients with one of the goals, namely increasing patient loyalty. This study aims to examine the relationship of e-CRM to patient loyalty in hospitals. This research is a qualitative research in the form of a literature study using data sources of research articles, proceedings, systematic reviews published in 2017-2022 from search engines Google Scholar and Pubmed. The methodology in this study was adapted from the framework of the literature review by vom Brocke which begins with defining the scope of the review and is followed by topic conceptualization then followed by a literature search, literature analysis, and a research agenda containing more in-depth questions for future research. Of the 1,691 national and international journals identified, there were 53 journals that were relevant to e-CRM applications, and eight journals were included in this study. Based on the literature study conducted, it was found that E-CRM as a strategy to maintain hospital-patient relationships was influenced by several factors such as organizational factors, facilities, and the environment. The application of e-CRM strategy also affects the continuity of hospital activities by increasing patient loyalty and retention. In addition, the success factor in implementing E-CRM as a tool to maintain and improve patients is the human factor, it is expected that medical officers have a good, polite, fair and humanistic service attitude.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan kemampuan TPaCK mahasiswa PGSD pada mata kuliah pembelajaran matematika SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dekriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah 28 mahasiswa semester 4 yang menempuh mata kuliah Pembelajaran Matematika SD yang kemudian dipilih tiga mahasiswa yaitu masing-masing satu mahasiswa berkemampuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan triangulasi. Triangulasi menggunakan metode teknik dengan membandingkan dari hasil observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa kemampuan TPaCK ketiga mahasiswa sudah baik dengan memenuhi ketiga komponen dari TPaCK dengan presentase subjek pertama 78,3%, subjek kedua 86,7% dan subjek ketiga 83,3%. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan TPaCK mahasiswa PGSD baik dengan memenuhi ketiga komponen yaitu Content Knowledge (CK), Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) dan Technology Knowledge (TK). This study aims to describe the TPaCK ability of PGSD students in elementary mathematics learning courses. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of the research were 28 students from semester 4 who took the Elementary Mathematics Learning course which were then selected by three students from each group, namely students with high, medium, and low abilities. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and triangulation. Triangulation uses a technique or method by analyzing the results of observations and interviews. The results of the study explained that the TPaCK ability of the three students was good by fulfilling the seven components of the TPaCK with the percentage of the first subject 78.3%, the second subject 86.7% and the third subject 83.3%.

In order to start a company and commercialize a great technological innovation, it is necessary to develop an effective business plan. The present study proposes the scientific development of such a business plan named “Educational Design Research” (EDR). This EDR plan aims to produce a 2021-2025 methodology for the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the Surabaya State University to address, among other things, the analysis, design, preparation, evaluation, and final reporting, for use in issuing and implementing effectively tsunami warnings in Indonesia. At the design stage of this project, the researchers involved in the present study compiled a business plan based on theory, and provided examples of procedures that could be readily accessed, evaluated and implemented in issuing tsunami warnings. The business plan was developed in close cooperation and thorough discussions with other units of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the University. The revised business document plan was subsequently provided to a consultant for additional evaluation, recommendations, and revisions. The results of the present study are in the form of a business plan document for adoptation in more effective earthquake and tsunami warnings,using the “Jokotingkir” technology.

Teachers must model critical thinking skills and dispositions in front of their students. This is useful for helping students develop their critical thinking skills. Inquisitiveness is one part of the critical thinking disposition that teachers need to have. However, there is still very little research investigating the readiness of prospective teachers in critical thinking dispositions, especially inquisitiveness. This research is intended to determine the level of curiosity of prospective elementary school teachers. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method, case study type, data, and data sources obtained from 20 prospective elementary school teacher informants in Madiun. Four indicators of inquisitiveness were identified from this case study: Asking questions, seeking information, feeling interested, and final investigation/evaluation. The curiosity of most primary school teacher candidates has not met the four indicators. Few fulfill only one indicator, namely seeking information, and very rarely fulfill three indicators. It can be concluded that prospective elementary school teachers do not yet have the disposition to think critically, especially inquisitiveness. There is a need to improve teacher education learning to improve their students' critical thinking skills and dispositions.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan mahasiswa PGSD dalam menyelesaikan Soal Matematika Bertipe HOTS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dekriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 3 yang menempuh mata kuliah Geometri Prodi PGSD Universitas PGRI Madiun sebanyak 28 mahasiswa. Data berupa hasil tes dan wawancara dianalisis secara kualitatif. Peneliti menganalisis data hasil tes dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika bertipe HOTS. Hasil skor tes mahasiswa dikelompokkan menjadi tiga terdiri dari mahasiswa berkemampuan tinggi (nilai tes lebih dari 85), mahasiswa berkemampuan sedang (nilai tes antara 65-85, mahasiswa berkemampuan rendah (nilai tes kurang dari 65). Selanjutnya untuk wawancara, peneliti memilih satu mahasiswa berkemampuan tinggi, satu mahasiswa berkemampuan sedang, dan satu mahasiswa berkemampuan rendah secara purposive. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat 5 mahasiswa berkemampuan tinggi, 10 mahasiswa berkemampuan sedang dan 13 mahasiswa berkemampuan rendah. Dilihat dari hasil analisis skor tes dan wawancara, kemampuan mahasiswa PGSD dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika bertipe HOTS masih cukup rendah. Mahasiswa harus mampu memenuhi ketiga indikator untuk menunjukkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS. Indikator yang digunakan dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika bertipe HOTS yaitu menganalisis, mengevaluasi dan memberikan solusi.

Many students in elementary school make mistakes when solving math problems, especially misconceptions. This is caused by a lack of mathematical material understanding, students are lazy to open mathematics books or notes, and students are lazy to do assignments given by the teacher. This study aims to analyze the mistakes of fifth grade elementary school students in solving HOTS math’s problems based on Newman. This type of research in this research is qualitative research. The data collection techniques include tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, the mistakes made by fifth grade students of SDN 02 Mojorejo Kota Madiun were reading errors, comprehension errors, transformation errors, process skill errors, and answer errors. end (encoding error). The most frequent mistakes made were misunderstanding and process skills errors. Some of the factors that cause students to make mistakes are students who are not familiar with HOTS math problems, students do not write down what is known and asked from the questions, lack of mastery on the material of volume shapes, and students are not careful in answering math questions

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar siswa sekolah dasar dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS matematika berdasarkan Teori Newman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dekriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas V SDN Gerih 1 Ngawi sebanyak 23 siswa. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil tes soal uraian dan hasil dari wawancara siswa yang dianalisis secara kuaitatif. Hasil skor tes siswa dikelompokkan menjadi tiga terdiri dari siswa berkemampuan tinggi (nilai tes antara 86-100), siswa berkemampuan sedang (nilai tes antara 70-85), dan siswa berkemampuan rendah (nilai tes antara 0-69). Selanjutnya untuk wawancara, peneliti memilih secara purposive satu siswa dari masing-masing kategori yang sudah dikelompokkan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat 4 siswa kemampuan tinggi, 10 siswa kemampuan sedang dan 9 siswa kemampuan rendah. Indikator kesalahan menurut teori Newman yaitu membaca, memahami soal, transformasi, keterampilan proses serta proses penyelesaian. Hasil pengerjaan siswa ditemukan adanya kesalahan yang berbeda-beda dari setiap subjek. THE DIFFICULTIES OF ELEMENTARY’S STUDENTS LEARNING IN COMPLETING HOTS MATHEMATICS PROBLEMS BASED ON NEWMAN’S THEORY Abstract: This study aims to describe the learning difficulties of elementary school students in solving mathematics HOTS questions based on Newman's Theory. This research is a descriptive research. The subjects in this study were 23 students of class V SDN Gerih 1 Ngawi. Data in the form of test results and student interviews were analyzed qualitatively. The results of student test scores are grouped into three consisting of high-ability students (test scores between 86-100), medium-ability students (test scores between 70-85), and low-ability students (test scores between 0-69). Furthermore, for the interview, the researcher purposively selects one student from each of the grouped categories. The results of this study were 4 high-ability students, 10 medium-ability students and 9 low-ability students. Indicators of error according to Newman's theory are reading, understanding, transformation, process skills and finishing process. The results of student work found that there were errors that differed for each subject.

This study aims to improve mathematical cognitive abilities in integer arithmetic operations through the use of lego bricks for fifth grade students of SDN 02 Winongo Madiun. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles and each cycle is carried out twice. The research subjects were all fifth grade students totaling 17 SDN 02 Winongo Madiun. The research data were collected through observation, written tests in the form of pretest and posttest and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Lego brick media can improve the cognitive ability of mathematics in integer arithmetic operations. This increase was marked by an increase in the number of students with test scores that exceeded the KKM, with scores between 70 and 100.With an increase in percentage of 35.5% of students who scored above the KKM, from 41.17% of students who scored in the KKM to 76, 14%. This research aims to produce a Research Roadmap of the Excellent Field of Science Unesa: Tsunami Science. The design of this research was Educational Design Research (EDR). The research site was chosen at the Surabaya State University (Unesa). This research was conducted using the modified ADDIE Model, with five stages including needs analysis, design, development, evaluation, and reporting. The Research Roadmap of Tsunami Early Warning (RRTEW) is an operational form of the Research Roadmap of Excellent Field of Science Unesa: Tsunami Science which is included in the Research Master Plan (RMP) and the Strategic Plan (RP) for Unesa Research in 2020-2030. RRTEW was given to 15 experts through a validation process using the Expert Validation Sheet. Research data in the form of scores from expert assessments were analyzed using a single measure interrater coefficient correlation (rα) to determine validity and using Cronbach's alpha (α) to determine RRTEW reliability. In addition, the results of the validation and input from experts will be used as a reference for revising RRTEW. The evaluation of all components of RRTEW by three experts was declared valid and reliable. The implications of this research are expected to: (1) provide an example of a Research Roadmap of Excellent Field of Science Unesa: Tsunami Science in tertiary institutions; (2) contributing thoughts to policymakers regarding the development of a Research Roadmap of Excellent Field of Science Unesa: Tsunami Science; (3) contributing thoughts to the academic community in increasing research in the form of developing a Research Roadmap of Excellent Field of Science Unesa: Tsunami Science.
