A Universidade de Coimbra (doravante UC), instituição na vanguarda do ensino superior público português desde o século XIII, foi sujeita à mais emblemática reforma no reinado josefino. Em 1772, na era do iluminismo, Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo (Marquês de Pombal) refunda pedagógica e economicamente a UC. Dessa refundação, resultou a adoção da partida dobrada na contabilidade da UC. O objetivo era racionalizar (ver Chua, 1986, p. 623) e tornar mais eficiente o controlo à distância (ver Latour, 2000), conforme mostramos através de um estudo de caso exploratório ao Arquivo da Universidade de Coimbra (doravante AUC). Neste estudo, contextualizamos à luz do poder-conhecimento de Foucault como estava organizada a contabilidade e como prestaram as contas no período da pré e pós reforma, aferindo sobre a razão da implementação da partida dobrada e sobre o impacto da reforma pombalina., The University of Coimbra (henceforth UC), institution at the forefront of Portuguese public higher education since the 13th century, underwent its most emblematic reform during the Josephine reign. In 1772, in the age of enlightenment, Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo (Marquis of Pombal) refounded the UC pedagogically and economically. From said refounding resulted the adoption of the double entry in the UC's accounting. The aim was to rationalize (see Chua, 1986, p. 623) and make distance control more efficient (see Latour, 2000), as we show through an exploratory case study of the University of Coimbra Archives (henceforth AUC). O estudo do perfeccionismo e da satisfação e insatisfação com a imagem corporal é um tema abordado em diferentes contextos, como na Psicologia, desporto e saúde física e, tem vindo a aumentar nas últimas décadas. Torna-se relevante estudar a população que pratica exercício físico, visto que a imagem corporal nos dias de hoje é cada vez mais valorizada. O perfecionismo pode ter um impacto positivo na vida dos indivíduos, o que leva a obterem bons resultados e sucesso, por outro lado, também pode ter um impacto negativo que está associado a perturbações psicológicas. Este estudo teve como principal objetivo compreender a relação entre os níveis de perfecionismo e a satisfação com a imagem corporal numa população de praticantes de exercício físico. A amostra foi constituída por 38 adultos de ambos os sexos (57,9% mulheres e 42,1% homens) com idades compreendidas entre os 18 e os 52 anos. Os participantes preencheram um questionário de caracterização sociodemográfica, uma medida multidimensional de perfecionismo e um questionário de imagem corporal que avalia a (in)satisfação com a imagem corporal. Os resultados sugerem que os praticantes de exercício físico do sexo feminino apresentam valores de insatisfação corporal mais elevados do que os homens, no entanto estas diferenças não foram significativas. No que se refere às subescalas do perfecionismo, a que apresentou níveis mais elevados e que teve maior prevalência foi a subescala do Perfecionismo Auto-Orientado e não foram encontradas diferenças estatisticamente significativas relativamente à diferença entre sexos. A análise dos resultados sugere que níveis mais elevados de perfecionismo, correspondem a uma maior insatisfação com a imagem corporal, por parte dos sujeitos que praticam exercício físico. Research on perfectionism and body image has increased in recent decades. It is relevant to study the population that practices physical exercise, since the body image nowadays is increasingly valued and this can influence the way a person sees himself. Perfectionism can have a positive impact on the lives of individuals, which leads to good results and success, however it can also have a negative dimension that is associated with psychopathology. The main objective of this study is to understand the relationship between levels of perfectionism and satisfaction with body image in a population that practices physical exercise. The sample consists of 38 participants aged between 18 and 52 years of both genders. The instruments applied consisted of a Sociodemographic Questionnaire, the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale and the Body Shape Questionnaire. The results suggest that female individuals presents higher values of insatisfaction than male individuals, although these values are not very significant. Concerning the perfectionism subscales, the one with the highest prevalence was the Self-Oriented Perfectionism subscale and no statistically significant differences were found regarding the difference between sexes. The analysis of the results suggests that the greater the perfectionism, the greater the dissatisfaction with body image by the population that practices physical exercise.

Background: Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are a public health problem with a high risk of morbidity and community transmissibility. Evidence points to their continuous increase. This study describes the design, development, and implementation of a community-based STI prevention program for community healthcare users. Methods: Based on the Health Planning Process design method, a structured, community-based intervention program on STI counseling and detection was conducted in a primary health care unit in Lisbon. Two data collection instruments were applied in the diagnosis of the situation, namely the Health Literacy Survey Portugal (ILS-PT) and the STD Attitude Scale, to 47 patients who attended the health consultation on STI counseling and detection in a primary care unit in Lisbon. Two interventions were implemented, the health education session and the provision of an educational poster. In the evaluation of the project, the acceptance and satisfaction of the patients with the implemented interventions were considered as outcome indicators. A descriptive statistical analysis of the data was performed. Results: The participants shows considerably low levels of health literacy and high-risk behaviors for acquiring STIs. After an intervention, a high percentage of the participants point out the project as exciting and valuable and reveal having acquired knowledge that allowed them to improve their health. Furthermore, the patients were very satisfied with the implemented health education session and the educational poster. Conclusion: This project revealed the urgent and important need to implement community intervention projects to prevent STIs and promote health literacy among the most vulnerable groups. info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion
