: During the field studies carried out in various freshwater habitats in the Thrace Region between 2019-2020, two species from the Hebridae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) family were identified. Hebrus pilipes Kanyukova, 1997 was recorded for the first time for the Thrace Region, while the presence of Hebrus pusillus pusillus (Fallén, 1807) in Turkish Thrace was confirmed with exact locality records.

This study was caried to determine the Heteroptera fauna in the part of the Rhodopes Mts., Xanthi Region, Greece between July and September 2022. As a result of the study, 45 species belonging to 16 families from the Heteroptera suborder were identified. While the first exact locality records were given for Lygaeus simulans Deckert, 1985 and Corythucha arcuata (Say, 1832), Eysarcoris aeneus (Scopoli, 1763) was recorded for the second time in Greece. This study is based on specimens of species that were collected by light trap in Diyarbakır Province, located in the Eastern Anatolia Region of Turkey, and which are rarely known in Anatolia. 7 species (Acrosternum breviceps (Jakovlev, 1889), Mecidea lindbergi Wagner, 1954, Lethaeus nitidus (Douglas & Scott, 1868), Megalonotus maximus (Puton, 1895), Peritrechus flavicornis Jakovlev, 1877, Ectomocoris caucasicus Linnavuori, 1972 and Reduvius ciliatus Jakovlev, 1879) specimens were examined and diagnostic photographs of their general morphology and male genitalia were presented. The study was carried out between 2016 and 2017 in Aladağlar National Park within the borders of Niğde-Kayseri in Central Anatolia. In order to detect Lygaeoidea fauna of the region, as a result of this study conducted in 38 locations, 57 species belonging to 37 genera and 6 families were identified. Of these species Lygaeus melanostolus (Kiritshenko, 1931), Plinthisus brevipennis (Latreille, 1807) and Tropidophlebia costalis (Herrich & Schaeffer, 1850) are recorded for the first time in Türkiye. The record of L. melanostolus in this study constitutes the westernmost point of its distribution. In addition, the rare species recorded from only one locality in Türkiye up to now, Emblethis latus Seidenstücker, 1963, Emblethis nox Kiritshenko, 1912, Ischnocoris punctulatus Fieber, 1861, Taphropeltus hamulatus (Thomson, 1870) and the very sporadic species Apterola lownii (Saunders, 1876), Brachyplax tennuis (Mulsant & Rey, 1852), Callistonotus nigroruber (Stål, 1859), Diomphalus hispidulus Fieber, 1864, Eremocoris podagricus (Fabricius, 1775), Ischnocoris hemipterus (Schilling, 1829), Megalonotus chiragra (Fabricius, 1794) and Trapezonotus arenarius arenarius (Linnaeus, 1758) are also significant findings in this study. As a result of the evaluation of the material collected by Robinson light trap in Diyarbakır Province, Sur district located in the south-east Türkiye between May ̶ September 2015, 56 species belonging to 13 families of Heteroptera were determined. Among these spe-cies, Camptocera glaberrima (Walker, 1872), Nysius cymoides (Spinola, 1837), Reduvius cilia-tus Jakovlev, 1879, Megalonotus colon Puton, 1874, Tropistethus lanternae Linnavuori, 1960, Sigara lateralis (Leach, 1817), Beosus quaripunctatus (Müller, 1766) and Geotomus elongatus (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1840) are common species. In addition, Heteroptera species previously detected in light trap studies in Türkiye are given in a table for comparison purposes. Meci-dea lindbergi Wagner, 1954 is recorded for the second time from Türkiye.

This study was performed as weekly field excursions from September 2005 to December 2006 during autumn, winter (except January-March) spring and summer seasons in a field covering an area of 4500 m2 in Balkan Campus of Trakya University (Edirne) where a denseflowered Verbascum densiflorum Bertol. (Scrophulariaceae) population existed. Members of different insect orders were collected from V. densiflorum plants and a total of 52 species belonging to 14 families (Rhyparochoromidae 11species, Miridae 8 species, Pentatomidae 8 species, Lygaeidae 4 species, Rhopalidae 4 species, Geocoridae 3 species, Oxycarenidae 3 species, Coreidae, Berytidae, Reduviidae and Tingidae 2 species for each and Scutelleridae, Anthocoridae and Alydidae 1 species for each) within Heteroptera (Hemiptera) were determined. When the collection times of the species are considered, 13 species were found in summer season during when the specimens were active and feeding and in autumn and winter seasons in their wintering periods, whereas 28 species were found only in autumn-winter and 11 species were found only in summer seasons. 43 of the determined species were phytophagous, 7 were zoophagous, 1 was zoophytophagous and 1 was phytozoophagous. The presence of Heteroptera species on V. densiflorum was reported for the first time with the present study. In addition, three of the identified species, Aoploscelis bivirgata (A. Costa, 1853), Aphanus rolandri (Linnaeus, 1758), and Ischnocoris hemipterus (Schilling, 1829) were recorded for the first time for the Thrace Region.

(2020) presented and discussed the plant taxa belonging to 36 plant families and the related Lygaeoidea species list in alphabetical order. In this study, 187 taxa belonging to 38 plant families, 67 at genera level and 120 at species level, were defined in relation to Lygaeoidea species. In addition, additional informations on the 10 plant families in the first study are presented.

Hemiptera, Lygaeoidea, host plant, relationship, Turkey - Abstract
In this preliminary study hostplants relationships of Lygaeoidea species of Turkey are listed, discussed and summarised. The hostplants of Lygaeoidea species are from various floristic elements of Turkey. According to various families of the superfamily Lygaeoidea studies done between the years 1922-2020, a total of 222 plant taxa in 36 families have been identified as hostplants. 77 of these taxa are given at genus level and 145 of them at species level. These hostplants are shrubs, trees, and herbaceous vegetations. In this part of the study, lygaeoid species found on 36 host plant families of Turkey are listed alphabetically. The remaining plant families will be given in the second part of the study. The relationships between these species and the hostplants are discussed in this research review.

Observations on the biology of Matsucoccus josephi Bodenheimer & Harpaz (Hemiptera: Matsucoccidae) were made at four natural red pine (Pinus brutia Tenore, Pinaceae) forestry of Antalya (1), Aydın (1) and Muğla (2) in the years 2009-2010. Samples branches of red pine were collected twice during March - November, once in winter months. In addition pheromone traps were used to monitor male scale insect and predators. All stages of M. josephi were counted. Some individuals were preserved into 70 % ethyl alcohol for the identification of life-stages. Nymphs and adults predator that feed on M. josephi, were reared into jars with their host. As results, M. josephi is overwintered second stage (cyst) under the bark of pine trees and has 4 generations (at least). Elatophilus hebraicus Pericart (Hemiptera: Anthocoridae) was common and effective predator in Turkey., Entomologica, V. 47 (2016)
