The trend of research using mixed metal oxide as a selective adsorbent for H2S gas is increasing. Inline with that, this paper evaluated the performance of Zn-Fe/Al2O3 adsorbent in adsorbing H2S as one of the steps in biogas purification process. The Zn-Fe/Al2O3 was successfully synthesized by microwave-assisted wet impregnation technique. The results showed that some operation parameters such as biogas space velocity, H2S inlet concentration, and biogas humidity had obvious influence on the performance of the gas adsorber. At low gas hourly space velocity (GHSV) of 1750 h−1, low H2S inlet concentrations (100 ppm), and no moisture in biogas, the highest breakthrough capacity was achieved with 3.23 mg H2S per gram adsorbent. Fresh and spent adsorbents were characterized by SEM–EDX to investigate the impact of H2S adsorption on the physical properties of the adsorbent. According to the good performance in removing H2S under ambient conditions, the Zn-Fe/Al2O3 is expected to be a promising adsorbent for H2S adsorption in biogas purification process. A thin, lightweight and flexible electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding paper composite is an urgent need for modern military confrontations. Herein, a sandwich-structured EMI shielding paper composite with an easy pavement consisting of a filter paper layer, middle AgNWs/MXene layer, and polyvinyl butyral (PVB) layer was constructed by vacuum-assisted filtration, spraying and air-drying. The middle AgNWs/MXene compound endowed the filter paper with excellent electrical conductivity (166 S cm−1) and the fabricated filter paper–AgNWs/MXene–PVB composite exhibits superior EMI shielding (30 dB) with a 141 μm thickness. Remarkably, the specific EMI shielding effectiveness (SSE/t) of the filter paper–AgNWs/MXene–PVB composite reached 13,000 dB cm2 g−1 within the X-band frequency range. This value represents one of the highest reported for cellulose-based EMI shielding materials. Pharmaceuticals and Personal Care Products (PPCPs) constitute a group of compounds that are challenging to break down and potentially pose risks to both ecosystems and human health when they accumulate in water bodies. This study established and operated small-scale constructed wetland–microbial fuel cells (CW-MFCs) continuously for 60 days, maintaining a hydraulic retention time (HRT) of 3 days. The research aimed to assess the treatment efficiency of wastewater containing Ibuprofen (IBP) and Diclofenac (DCF) using different co-substrates (glucose, sucrose, and sodium acetate) and to analyze the impact of these co-substrates on the composition of bacterial communities within the CW-MFC. After 60 days of operation, CW-MFC achieved removal rates of 89.29% for IBP and 84.10% for DCF. The elimination of IBP was primarily dependent on co-metabolic degradation processes occurring in both the anode and cathode, while DCF removal relied on anodic co-metabolism. Additionally, various co-substrates have an influence on the bacterial community diversity of the anode and cathodes. The possible bacterial groups involved in PPCP degradation were identified. In summary, Glu was identified as a more suitable co-substrate for CW-MFC in the removal of IBP and DCF, while SA as a co-substrate favored the induction and enrichment of EAB in the anodes. Irrigation is the primary agricultural utilization of water resources worldwide, and it produces 36% of the food. The quality of irrigation water influences crop growth and food safety. The coastal river delta region supplies huge area lands for developing agriculture, and the irrigation in this area is composed of many resources for its special location. This study investigated the agricultural water with different resources and evaluated its quality in the Yellow River Delta. The water samples included irrigation water, underground water, and drainage water. The sampling points were designed in the typical areas of Kenli county and Guangrao county in Dongying city, which is the core area of the Yellow River Delta. Through testing the ions composition and the parameters of electrical conductivity (EC), pH, and so on, six evaluation methods were conducted to assess the water quality. The results suggested that the Yellow River water has good quality for irrigation or unconventional water utilization. The high concentration of Na+ and Cl− was the primary problem of the water resource. The rainfall was also another water resource supplement in this region. Therefore, developing saline water irrigation incorporated with salt-tolerant crop cultivation is a rational measure for improving coastal agriculture in the Yellow River Delta. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
