Abstract

Introduction: Bengkulu is located on an active collision zone between two tectonic plates, namely the Eurasian Plate and the Indo-Australian Plate. As the result, earthquakes, floods, landslides, and tidal waves are common in Bengkulu. Sepang Bay is part of Bengkulu Province adjacent to the ocean, making it vulnerable to earthquakes and tsunamis. This study aims to examine the relationship between the residential environment and natural disaster preparedness in Sepang Bay, Bengkulu Regency. Methods: The type of research used is analytical observation with cross-sectional design. Data are collected from interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation from a total of 100 respondents selected by proportional random selection from each neighborhood in Sepang Bay Village, based on the proportion of heads of family in each neighborhood. Results and Discussion: When an earthquake occurs, there is a relationship between the residential environment and the community’s preparedness. As the existing supporting infrastructure is not properly utilized, people who live in substandard settlements do not have adequate equipment to deal with seismic disasters. When an earthquake occurs, there is a relationship between the settlement environment and the community’s preparedness. Because the existing supporting infrastructure is not being used properly, people who live in poor settlements have poor preparedness as well. Conclusion: The Sepang Bay Village Community, Bengkulu, which is located along the Panjang Beach, found a relationship between the settlement environment and earthquake preparedness (p = 0.021, PR 2.127).

Abstract

Loyalty services by patients depend on the quality of service received. Therefore, quality is the main competitive advantage and is an important aspect of a health service. In Bengkulu City, there were 156,854 people with a total contact rate of 15,726 (10.06%) with sick visits of 13,068 (8.33%) and healthy visits of 2,658 (1.69%). The high number of sick visits requires quality individual health services. The research design used was exploratory with a cross-sectional observational approach with hypothesis testing. And then to determine the relationship between the quality of curative services, quantitative methods, and qualitative methods, to determine the role of management in improving the quality of health services on patient satisfaction and customer loyalty in community health centre services. The results showed a significant relationship between the quality of health services and patient satisfaction and patient satisfaction with the customer loyalty to the community health centre in Bengkulu City (p = 0.001). Analysis of management improvements to improve the quality of achieving the health centre's indicator targets includes planning. So every three months, to discuss any problems in the implementation of each program, monitoring the assessment and evaluation of the implementation of activities at the community health centre carried out internally and externally. The services provided are good because the community health centre officers carry out efforts in service quality, especially in terms of the dimensions of empathy and physical evidence. Abstract

Background: The highest coverage of exclusive breastfeeding data from Bengkulu City Health Office was Nusa Indah Public Health Center (86.9%) and the lowest was Lingkar Barat Public Health Center (63.8%).Objective: The research objective is to determine the implementation of exclusive breastfeeding programs seen from the input, process, output in the city of Bengkulu in 2018.Methods: This was an observational analytic study with a qualitative approach. The informants consisted of nutrition workers, midwives, health promotor, heads of Public helath center and mothers who participated in the exclusive breastfeeding program at the puskesmas. This research was carried out in both Bengkulu City Health Center, starting from July to August 2019. Data analysis was done by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and verification.Results: The study showed that the executors of the exclusive ASI program consisted of nutrition workers, midwives and promkes, using BOK funds, material on exclusive breastfeeding, tools in the form of infant pantom, breast pantom, breast milk, with counseling, counseling and IMD methods. The implementation process is Exclusive ASI socialization, formation and guidance of ASI Suport group. Implementation with counseling, and counseling. Control by looking at data obtained from posyandu.Conclusion: The Nusa Indah Puskesmas has been successful because the ASI support group has played an active role in assisting the implementation of the Exclusive ASI program, while the West Lingkar Puskesmas was not successful because the officers did indeed obtain real data in the field.

Abstract

Background: Puskesmas as primary health care center where the role of Puskesmas is interpreted as gate keeper or first contact and referral agent in accordance with standard of medical service. BPJS Kesehatan always strives to increase efficiency and effectiveness by developing quality control system of service and payment system of health service through capitation payment pattern to first level health facility. Problem formulation, how the implementation of Kapuas basaran policy based on fulfillment of service commitment to control at Public Health Center of Bengkulu City. Research Objective, knowing the role of policy of capitation scale based on fulfillment of service commitment to referral control at public health center Bengkulu City. Research methods: This research uses quantitative and qualitative method with exploratory research design, unit of Puskesmas analysis in Bengkulu City. The type of this research is descriptive research to describe the implementation of capitation policy based on fulfillment of service commitment to referral number in public health center Bengkulu City. Results and discussion:Referral from public health center in Bengkulu City decreased from 2014 as many as 113,075 visits and 25,183 (22.27%) referrals, by 2015 149,483 visits and 26,963 (18.04%) referrals, 2016 226,313 visitation and 23,545 referrals (10 , 40%) In 2016 the number of participants in Bengkulu City was 156,854 inhabitants and the number of contact rate was 15.726 (10.06%). Visits were 13,068 (8.33%) and healthy visits 2,658 (1.69%). All informants understand about the activities undertaken to achieve the safe zone target ratio. Conclusions and recommendations:The implementation of a service commitment-based capitation policy can control the referral of the public health center. Informants have a common perception in achieving contact numbers to achieve the target of safe zones and achievement zones by optimizing public health efforts and individual health efforts to make healthy visits and sick visits to the community. Policy implementation can be developed by maximizing existing community health efforts in Puskesmas, improving the achievement of contact rates indicator, non-specialist referral ratios, and proline visits routinely.

Abstract

The role of market indicators for small and medium enterprise (SME) international performance has always considered as a vital area of interest for researchers with emergence and growth of SME's internationalization. Previously many studies have conferred the role of marketing capabilities as a key factor for international performance of SME's, however only handful studies have analyzed the indicators of firm marketing and customer satisfaction mediating role in the relationship between organizational capabilities and pharmaceutical SMEs' international performance. In this paper, four marketing drivers (market intelligence, product innovation, pricing, and marketing communication) are taken as determinants of international performance of Indonesian pharmaceutical SMEs. Drawing on theory of SME's performance, this paper examines the direct and indirect relationships between market intelligence, market communication capability, price capability, product innovation, customer satisfaction and pharmaceutical SME's international performance. A quantitative survey consisted of a self-administrative questionnaire was engaged to collect data from employees of pharmaceutical SME's. Based on a sample of 438 employees and structural equation modeling. the results shown that all these capabilities provoke pharmaceutical SME's international performance. Further, outcomes designated that customer satisfaction acts as a mediator between pricing capability and pharmaceutical SMEs' international performance.
