Ibadah is one of the essential elements in a Muslim's life because the essence of human creation is to Ibadah God. However, unfortunately, there are still many Muslim communities in North Sumatra Province that are weak and lack enthusiasm for carrying out the Ibadah. This article will explain the optimization of various religious activities to increase the community's Ibadah spirit. It will focus its research on Hamlet VIII, Besar II Village, Terjun, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra Province. The research method used is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, an approach whose process aims to learn to overcome problems and fulfill the practical needs of society. The results of this research conclude that the various religious activities that have been carried out can increase the spirit of Ibadah of the people of Dusun VIII, Besar II Terjun Village, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra Province through Real Work Lecture activities, by carrying out religious activities in the form of short lectures, Qiroatul Hadith (Reading Hadith), this recitation for children, Islamic boarding school express, and holding competitions to memorize short surahs and the call to prayer. The community revealed that the activities that have been carried out provided a positive response to increasing their enthusiasm for Ibadah

In this paper, a combined framework is proposed that includes Hyperdimensional (HD) computing, neural networks, and k-means clustering to fulfill a computationally simple incremental learning framework in a facial recognition system. The main advantages of HD computing algorithms are the simple computations needed, the high resistance to noise,and the ability to store excessive amounts of information into a single HD vector. The problem of incremental learning revolves around the ability to regularly update the knowledge within the framework to include new subjects in an online manner. Using an HD computing classifier proved efficient and highly accurate to implement an incremental learning framework as no re-training was required after each online update to the framework wbich is HD computing biggest advantage. Another advantage is that HD computing classifiers can achieve a high degree of generalization. The framework was tested on a total of 11 open source benchmark data sets. A number of experimental tests were preformed to ensure consistent performance of the framework under different conditions against different data sets.

The aim of this work was to establish a general design basis for pilot-scale units to treat textile dyeing wastewater containing recalcitrant organic chemicals by hydrodynamic cavitation (HC) using orifices of various geometries. Relevant tabulated data available in the literature were analyzed and correlated to obtain universal relationships to this end. In spite of extensive effort, most of the obtained correlations were system-specific, which still can be used for design using their respective orifice geometries as demonstrated. However, one salient general relationship links the pipe’s dimensionless loss coefficient (KLP) to the pipe’s Reynolds number (ReP), encompassing all data under consideration, which may serve as an additional design option to optimize such units. The implication of this relationship is a lower upstream pressure (P1) value with an increase in pipe diameter while using the same specified orifice and achieving the same desired cavitation number (Cv). The ratio of P1 value in the larger pipe to its value in the smaller pipe is a function of the smaller pipe diameter (DS) to the larger pipe diameter (DL) ratio: (P1 in DL) / (P1 in DS) = (DS /DL)2.33. A lower P1 value will increase the cavitation yield by decreasing the expended energy, especially if the required number of passes is large. Additionally, the variation of the orifices’ hole loss coefficient (KLh) with the ratio of the holes area to the pipe cross-sectional area (Ah/Ap) for cavitating flow is compared with that for non-cavitating/incipient cavitation flow reported in the literature. Data berjadual berkaitan yang ada dalam kajian lepas dianalisa dan dikaitkan bagi mendapatkan kaitan universal hingga akhir. Walaupun pelbagai usaha telah dijalankan, banyak kaitan didapati mengguna pakai sistem-tertentu, di mana boleh digunakan bagi mereka cipta menggunakan geometri orifis yang ditunjukkan. Walau bagaimanapun, bagi menghubung kait pekali langsung tanpa dimensi (KLP) kepada paip nombor Reynolds (ReP), meliputi semua data di bawah pertimbangan, di mana membantu pilihan rekaan tambahan bagi mengoptimum unit tersebut. The global peril of air quality deterioration imperils the well-being of all living beings. Erbil, like many other regions, has suffered severe environmental degradation due to urban expansion, vehicular escalation, industrialisation, and substandard fuel usage. This research employs Google Earth Engine, GIS, and Remote Sensing to scrutinise alterations in pollutants (NO2, SO2, CH4, CO, O3, UV) spanning 2018 to 2022. It also incorporates PM2.5 data from Ankawa station (Jan 14, 2023 - May 4, 2023) and land use data (2005-2022) from Modis and Sentinel 2 satellites. The findings reveal a substantial increase in the levels of various pollutants during the specified period. However, in June 2020, most of these levels experienced a decrease due to the coronavirus quarantine measures. For instance, the concentration of NO2 decreased from 0.000256 mol/m2 in 2018 to 0.000166 mol/m2 in 2020. Conversely, by June 2022, the levels had significantly risen to 0.000277 mol/m2. Moreover, among the 107 days record, PM2.5 concentrations reached unhealthy levels on 44 days, while only five exhibited healthy PM2.5 levels. Furthermore, regions at lower sea levels, like Erbil and Khabat, exhibit the highest concentrations of these gases. In contrast, areas at higher sea levels, such as Mergasur and Choman, demonstrate these pollutants’ lowest levels.

Objective: We evaluated multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) accuracy for the prediction of the optimal prosthetic aortic valve deployment angle in trans-catheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) with the different variables. Methods: Sixty-six patients underwent contrast-enhanced MDCT before TAVI. From the three-dimensional aortic root reconstructions, we get the appropriate perpendicular aortic valve projection at which the bases of the aortic valve cusps were on a straight line. The predicted angles by MDCT were compared to the perpendicular fluoroscopic angles of the prosthetic valve. The degree of MDCT accuracy was defined as accurate, suitable or inaccurate according to the difference between the predicted angles and the perpendicular prosthetic valve projections. The degree of aortic cusp calcification, annular ellipticity, the type of aortic valve (to be tricuspid or bicuspid), were compared in patients with accurate, suitable and inaccurate prediction. The radiation exposure and volume of the used contrast agent were also considered in the comparison. Results: MDCT prediction was accurate in 84.8% of cases, suitable in 9.1% and inaccurate in 6.1% of cases. There was a significant association between MDCT accuracy and the valve type with higher rates of accurate prediction with tricuspid aortic valves than bicuspid valves (93.1% versus 25%, respectively). Aim The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of intravitreal injection of ranibizumab for patients with chronic central serous chorioretinopathy (CCSC). Materials and methods A prospective interventional noncomparative study was conducted on nine patients with CCSC who were treated with an intravitreal injection of ranibizumab once. Visual acuity with Snellen′s chart and the foveal thickness were studied before and after the injection. Results The mean age of the patients was 44.3 ± 5.7 years. After 1 month of intravitreal injection, visual acuity improved from 20/120 to 20/30 (P < 0.001). Central retinal thickness improved from 493 ± 76 μm (before injection) to 216 ± 36 μm (1 month after injection) (P < 0.001). None of the cases exhibited relapses. Conclusion Intravitreal injection of ranibizumab can be an optional treatment in patients with CCSC as it leads to an anatomic and functional improvement.

The Middle East is an inherently dry zone. It has experienced severe drought for the last seven years, and climate change has made the situation worse. The Dohuk governorate has been suffering from an appalling water crisis. One possible way of relieving this water crisis is by properly harvesting the rainwater. Rainwater harvesting is a widely used method of storing rainwater in the countries presenting with drought characteristics. Several pieces of research have derived and developed different criteria and techniques to select suitable sites for harvesting rainwater. The main aim of this research was to identify and select suitable sites for the potential erection of dams, as well as to derive a model builder in ArcMap 10.4.1. The model combined several parameters, such as slope, runoff potential, land cover/use, stream order, soil quality, and hydrology to determine the suitability of the site for harvesting rainwater. To compute the land use/cover categories, the study depended on Landsat image data from 2018. Supervised classification was applied using the ENVI 5 software, while the slope mapping and drainage order were extracted using a digital elevation model. Inverse distance weighting (IDW) was used for the spatial interpolation of the rain data. The results demonstrated that suitable areas for water harvesting, are located in the middle and northern part of the research area, and in intensively cultivated zones. The main soil texture in these suitable sites was loam, while the rainfall rate amounted to 750 to 900 mm. This research shows that 15% and 13% of the area studied can be categorized as having excellent and good suitability for water harvesting, respectively. Furthermore, 21% and 27% of the area studied were of moderate and poor suitability, while the remaining 24% were not suitable at all.

To assess the role of land snails as the monitor for heavy metal pollution and to determine the species-specific accumulation of metals in Eobania vermiculata and Monacha obstructa. A field survey of heavy metals was carried out in two different areas in Ismailia city, Egypt. The study was conducted to evaluate the essential and non-essential heavy metals in the tissue of land snails and compared them with their levels in shell and soil to find out which can accumulate more biotic or abiotic?. The heavy metals concentrations of essential and non-essential heavy metals of soft tissues of two snail species and sediment collected from Ring Road, Ismailia, in Egypt had the highest levels of heavy metals as compared to another site in most seasons except in spring season levels of essential (Cu, Mn, Zn, Co, Mo, Ca and Mg) and non-essential metals (Cd, Pb, Al, and B) were higher in El-Balah Road than Ring Road. Therefore, El Balah Road was less polluted as compared with Ring Road which was more crowded with cars. The ranges of essential metals in samples of the soft tissue of E. vermiculata along with the two sites, Ring Road and El Balah Road, were higher for Ca and Mg than other essential metals. However, Al as a non-essential metal in soft tissue samples of E. vermiculata for the two sites was the most common metal. Moreover, the levels of the same metals were elevated in M. obstructa along with the two sites. The results indicated that E. vermiculata and M. obstructa soft tissues do not reflect the environmental bioavailability of heavy metals as the shells do. Therefore, the shells of E. vermiculata and M. obstructa could be considered as a more useful bioindicator for Co, Cu, Mn, Zn, Mo, Ca, Mg, and Pb. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
