Background and Objectives: Sports injury prevention programs (SIPPs) are crucial for mitigating sports injuries and enhancing athletes’ performance. In Saudi Arabia, the sports sector is growing, and the awareness and implementation of sports injury prevention programs (SIPPs) among physical therapists require examination. This study aims to evaluate physiotherapists’ awareness of and the implementation of sports injury prevention programs (SIPPs) in the Saudi Arabian region with findings that could enhance rehabilitation and sports injury prevention practices. Materials and Methods: A self-administered online questionnaire was distributed to licensed physiotherapists in Saudi Arabia. Three hundred sixty-six participants responded to the questionnaire, of whom 55.5% were male and 44.5% were female physiotherapists. Results: Licensed physical therapists show a high awareness of sports injury prevention, with 83.9% agreeing or strongly agreeing. However, only 53.8% were aware of sports injury prevention programs, and 37.7% reported actively implementing them. Sports physical therapists scored significantly higher in awareness and implementation than other specialties (p < 0.001) with no significant regional differences. Educational qualification was also significant, with those holding a master’s degree or higher reporting greater awareness and implementation than those with a bachelor’s degree (p = 0.007). There was a strong positive correlation between awareness and implementation (r = 0.723, p < 0.01), along with weak correlations between awareness and perceived barriers (r = 0.270, p < 0.01) and implementation and barriers (r = 0.280, p < 0.01). Conclusions: This study finds that physical therapists in Saudi Arabia have moderate-to-low awareness and implementation of sports injury prevention programs (SIPPs), especially outside of sports-specific fields. Sports physical therapists and those with higher education have significant awareness. There are minimal regional differences but a strong positive correlation between awareness and implementation. Enhanced training, resources, and institutional support are needed to improve SIPP implementation in rehabilitation.

A mathematical model of the Green-Naghdi photo-thermoelastic model due to ramp-type heating is presented to study the photo- thermo-elastic waves in a two-dimension semi-conductor material. By using Fourier and Laplace transforms with the eigenvalue scheme, the variables are analytically obtained. A semiconductor media such as silicon is investigated. Numerical outcomes for all the physical quantities are implemented and illustrated graphically. The results show that the ramp-type source has varying degrees of influence on physical quantities. The derived methods are evaluated with numerical outcomes which are applied to the semi-conductor material in simplified geometry. Finally, it can be found that the ramp-type heating source has great effects on the studying fields.

The photo-thermo-elastic analysis problem of a half space without energy dissipation are obtained in the context of Green–Naghdi's (GNII) theory. Closed-form analytical solutions to obtain the physical quantities subjected to a heat flux using the pulse that decays exponentially in the surface of semiconductor half-space are presented. Through the use of Laplace and Fourier transforms with the methodology of eigenvalues techniques, the analytical solutions of all variables are presented. The derived method is evaluated with numerical results which are applied to the semiconductor medium in simplified geometry. Suitable discussions and conclusions are presented. This article highlights the study of photo-thermoelastic interaction in an unbounded semiconductor medium containing a spherical cavity. This problem is solved using the new hyperbolic two-temperature model. The bounding surface of the cavity is traction free and loaded thermally by exponentially decaying pulse boundary heat flux. In addition, the carrier density is prescribed on the inner surface of the cavity in terms of the recombination speed. The techniques of Laplace transforms are used to get the analytical solutions of the problem in the transformed domain by the eigenvalues method. The inversions of Laplace transformations have been carried out numerically. The outcomes also display that the analytical schemes can overcome the mathematical problem to analyze this problem. Numerical outcomes for a semiconductor material are performed and demonstrated graphically. According to the numerical results, this new hyperbolic two-temperature model of thermoelasticity offers finite speed of the thermal wave and mechanical wave propagation.
