In this paper, the differential cross section for the Compton scattering process is calculated. Two types of corrections are investigated: corrections due to violation of Lorentz symmetry and thermal effects. An extended QED is considered to introduce the parameter that leads to the breaking of symmetry. While temperature effects are introduced using Thermofield Dynamics formalism. It is shown that the differential cross section changes with both corrections. These corrections are dominant at appropriate limits. The temperature associated with gravitation as presented in the Unruh effect and Hawking temperature serves to link different areas of physics, such as gravity, statistical mechanics, and quantum physics. In this paper, teleparallel gravity is considered to study temperature effects on the de Sitter space-time. The effects of temperature are introduced using the Thermo Field Dynamics (TFD) formalism. The gravitational Stefan-Boltzmann law is obtained. Then the temperature of gravitation in the de Sitter space-time is calculated. Here an Unruh-type effect is discussed. This effect relates the temperature and the acceleration of a particle in the de Sitter space-time. The gravitational Casimir effect is calculated. The Seiberg-Witten formalism has been realized as an electrodynamics in phase space (associated to the Dirac equation written in phase space) and this fact is explored here with non-abelian gauge group. First, a physically heuristic presentation of the Seiberg-Witten approach is carried out for non-abelian gauge in order to guide the calculation procedures. These results are realized by starting with the Lagrangian density for the free Dirac field in phase space. Then a field strength is derived, where the non-abelian gauge group is the SU(2), corresponding to an isospin (non-abelian) field theory in phase space. Small violation of Lorentz and CPT symmetries may emerge in models unifying gravity with other forces of nature. An extension of the standard model with all possible terms that violate Lorentz and CPT symmetries are included. Here a CPT-even non-minimal coupling term is added to the covariant derivative. This leads to a new interaction term that breaks the Lorentz symmetry. Our main objective is to calculate the cross section for the e−+e+→μ−+μ+ scattering in order to investigate any violation of Lorentz and/or CPT symmetry at finite temperature. Recently a great deal of interest in field theories formulated in a Lorentz violating framework has been developed. Here the Very Special Relativity (VSR) is considered. The main aspect in the VSR proposal is that laws of physics are invariant under the subgroups of the Poincar\'e group preserving the basic elements of special relativity. An important point is that the photon acquires a mass. In this context, the energy-momentum tensor for the electromagnetic field is calculated. From this, the Stefan-Boltzmann law and Casimir effect at finite temperature in VSR are obtained. The effects of temperature are introduced using the Thermo Field Dynamics (TFD) formalism. Both Stefan-Boltzmann law and the Casimir effect, in a universe described by the FRW metric with zero curvature, are calculated. These effects are described by Thermo Field Dynamics (TFD). The gravitational energy-momentum tensor is defined in the context of Teleparallel Equivalent to General Relativity (TEGR). Each of the two effects gives a consistent prediction with what is observed on a cosmological scale. One of the effect establishes a minimum range for the deceleration parameter. In this paper a Lorentz-violating CPT-even non-minimal coupling term is considered. A new interaction term between fermions and photons emerges. In this context, the differential cross-section for Bhabha scattering at finite temperature is calculated. The temperature effects are introduced using the Thermo- Field Dynamics (TFD) formalism. A quark-antiquark effective model is studied in a toroidal topology at finite temperature. The model is described by a Schr\"odinger equation with linear potential which is embedded in a torus. The following aspects are analysed: (i) the nonclassicality structure using the Wigner function formalism; (ii) finite temperature and size-effects are studied by a generalization of Thermofield Dynamics written in phase space; (iii) in order to include the spin of the quark, Pauli-like Schr\"odinger equation is used; (iv) analysis of the size-effect is considered to observe the fluctuation in the ground state. The size effect goes to zero at zero, finite and high temperatures. The Thermofield Dynamics (TFD) formalism is considered. In this context, a Lorentz-breaking scalar field theory is introduced. In contrast to the Matsubara formalism, the best-known approach to introducing the temperature effect, TFD is a real-time formalism and is a topological field theory. While in Matsubara the temperature effects are introduced as a consequence of a compactification of the field in a finite interval on the time axis, in the TFD this effect emerges through a condensed state related to the Bogoliubov transformation. An advantage of the TFD formalism is that different topologies, which lead to different effects, can be chosen. Here, three different topologies are considered. Then the Stefan-Boltzmann law and Casimir effect at zero and non-zero temperature are calculated. This paper deals with quantum field theory in curved space-time using the Thermo Field Dynamics. The scalar field is coupled to the Schwarzschild space time and then thermalised. The Stefan-Boltzmann law is established at finite temperature and the entropy of the field is calculated. A spatially flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker background with a general scale factor is considered. In this space-time, the energy-momentum tensor of the scalar field with a general curvature coupling parameter is obtained. Using the Thermo Field Dynamics (TFD) formalism the Stefan-Boltzmann law and the Casimir effect at finite temperature are calculated. The Casimir effect at zero temperature is also considered. The two-dimensional hydrogen atom in an external magnetic field is considered in the context of phase space. Using solution of the Schr\"{o}dinger equation in phase space the Wigner function related to the Zeeman effect is calculated. For this purpose, the Bohlin mapping is used to transform the Coulomb potential into a harmonic oscillator problem. Then it is possible to solve the Schr\"{o}dinger equation easier by using the perturbation theory. Parity violation implies that physics laws are not invariant under spatial coordinate reversal. Electron-positron scattering is a process that displays parity violation. Using the Thermo Field Dynamics formalism this scattering at finite temperature is analyzed. The transition amplitude is calculated as a function of temperature. The parity violation at very high temperatures tend to go to zero.

The early universe is dominated by phenomena at high temperatures. The thermal effects decrease during evolution of the universe. However there are some phenomena, such as processes inside stars and black holes, where the role of the temperature is important. Study of processes involving gravitons at finite temperature is a viable means to understand gravitational processes in the universe. Using the Thermo Field Dynamics formalism transition amplitudes involving gravitons and fermions at finite temperature are calculated. In this approach our results consist of two parts: one corresponding to the zero temperature part and the other corresponding to a temperature dependent part.

The standard model and general relativity are local Lorentz invariants. However it is possible that at Planck scale there may be a breakdown of Lorentz symmetry. Models with Lorentz violation are constructed using Standard Model Extension (SME). Here gravitational sector of the SME is considered to analyze the Lorentz violation in Gravitoelectromagnetism (GEM). The teleparallel gravity, in the weak field approximation, is considered. In the Schwarzschild space–time the gravitational Stefan–Boltzmann law is calculated. Using the first law of thermodynamics, the Hawking entropy and temperature of the black hole are calculated. Thermofield dynamics formalism is used to define the temperature-dependent theory. In addition the gravitational Casimir effect and Stefan–Boltzmann law at zero and finite temperature are calculated in Schwarzschild space–time.

Dynamics between particles is governed by Lorentz and CPT symmetry. There is a violation of Parity (P) and CP symmetry at low levels. The unified theory, that includes particle physics and quantum gravity, may be expected to be covariant with Lorentz and CPT symmetry. At high enough energies, will the unified theory display violation of any symmetry? The Standard Model Extension (SME), with Lorentz and CPT violating terms, has been suggested to include particle dynamics. The minimal SME in the pure photon sector is considered in order to calculate the Casimir effect at finite temperature.

The energy-momentum tensor for the gravitoelectromagnetism (GEM) theory in the real-time finite temperature field theory formalism is presented. Expressions for the Casimir energy and pressure at zero and finite temperature are obtained. A formal analogy between the gravitational and the electromagnetic fields leads to the notion of Gravitoelectromagnetism (GEM) to describe gravitation. A Lagrangian formulation for GEM is developed for scattering processes with gravitons as an intermediate state, in addition to photons for electromagnetic scattering. The differential cross section is calculated for gravitational Möller scattering based on GEM theory. This gravitational cross section is obtained for cases where the Lorentz symmetry is maintained or violated. The Lorentz violation is introduced with the non-minimal coupling term. In addition, using the Thermo Field Dynamics formalism, thermal corrections to the differential cross section are investigated. By comparing the electromagnetic and GEM versions, of Möller scattering, it is shown that the gravitational effect may be measured at an appropriate energy scale.

The Abelian and non-Abelian gauge symmetries extended to the gravitational interaction are explored by following the gravitoelectromagnetism approach. Then a correspondence with the weak-field approximation of gravity up to second order is developed.

Using elements of symmetry, as gauge invariance, many aspects of a Schrödinger equation in phase space are analyzed. The number (Fock space) representation is constructed in phase space and the Green function, directly associated with the Wigner function, is introduced as a basic element of perturbative procedure. This phase space representation is applied to the Landau problem and the Liouville potential.

Lorentz and CPT symmetries may be violated in new physics that emerges at very high energy scale, that is, at the Planck scale. The differential cross section of the Möller scattering due to Lorentz violation at finite temperature is calculated. Lorentz-violating effects emerge from an interaction vertex due to a CPT-odd nonminimal coupling in the covariant derivative. The finite temperature effects are determined using the Thermo Field Dynamics (TFD) formalism.

We apply Lie and non-classical symmetry methods to partial differential equations in order to derive solutions of the non-linear Dirac equation corresponding to the Gross–Neveu model in d = ( 1 + 1 ) and d = ( 2 + 1 ) space–time dimensions. For each d, we first identify sub-algebras of the Poincare–Lie algebra and for each such sub-algebra, we calculate the invariant solution. Non-classical symmetries are also determined and used to derive new solutions for the Gross–Neveu model.

The Lorentz and $CPT$ symmetries are not violated at the highest laboratory energies available. However these symmetries may be violated at Planck scale. A particular development is to investigate the breakdown of Lorentz and $CPT$ symmetries by introducing an aether field that exhibits nonzero vacuum expectation value along the fifth dimension. The interactions of the aether field with scalar, electromagnetic, and fermions fields are analyzed. The Stefan-Boltzmann law and Casimir effect at finite temperature are calculated using the Thermo Field Dynamics formalism.
