The early 2020 COVID-19 pandemic disrupted community activities, including education. Online education and various teaching methods have been implemented by the Indonesian government to reduce classroom learning. This study investigates the impact of asynchronous learning and peer assessment in the parasitology course via the Learning Management System (LMS). This quantitative study evaluated the effectiveness of Learning Management System to facilitate asynchronous learning and peer assessment in the fifth-semester parasitology course. All 247 course students were the study's target group. The data was acquired using a structured questionnaire. A quantitative analysis was done utilizing Sugiyono's efficacy formula. To draw relevant conclusions, qualitative questionnaire data was recorded and rigorously analyzed. The survey indicated that 37% of respondents thought LMS was beneficial for Parasitology E-learning and 39% said it improved course understanding. In the GIS system, 91% of participants said peer assessment helped them comprehend parasitology topics. This study demonstrates that the LMS can effectively and efficiently facilitate peer assessment to address the challenges in providing feedback to students in order to improve learning outcomes.

Peran orang tua dalam pendampingan anak belajar di rumah kembali menguat selama Pandemi Covid-19. Namun pada kenyataannya orang tua mengalami berbagai kendala dalam melakukan pendampingan pada proses belajar anak. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hambatan orang tua dalam mendampingi anak belajar dari rumah. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan survey terhadap peserta didik di seluruh Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling diperoleh sebanyak 46.547 orang tua melalui daring dan 602 melalui Short Message Service (SMS). Sampling responden setiap provinsi, daerah Terdepan, Terpencil dan Tertinggal (3T) dan non-3T, dan pada setiap jenis satuan pendidikan. Analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian orang tua mengalami kesulitan memahami materi pelajaran, orang tua kurang fokus dalam mendampingi anak, tidak dapat berinteraksi langsung dengan guru, sebagian orang tua tidak memiliki perangkat digital, sebagian orang tua kurang terampil menggunakan perangkat digital, sebagian orang tua terkendala jaringan internet kurang memadai, selain itu ada sebagian orang tua mengalami kendala jaringan listrik yang kurang memadai. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah masalah pendampingan orang tua pada Anak dalam proses belajar di rumah masa pandemi covid-19 adalah kurangnya pemahaman materi pelajaran anak, kurangnya akses interaksi dengan guru, kurangnya sarana dan prasarana, serta kurangnya kemampuan menguasai teknologi.

The condition of the Porong River has experienced a decline in water quality caused by detergent pollution containing surfactants. Accumulation of surfactants that have not been well-degraded can have negative impacts on the aquatic ecosystem. The aim of this research is to analyze the water quality parameters and surfactant concentrations in the Porong River, as well as to determine their correlation. The method used in this study is the descriptive survey method. Data collection was carried out at 3 stations using purposive sampling method. Data were collected in three replicates. Based on the data obtained from the water quality parameter measurements, the temperature ranges from 27.8 to 29°C, TDS levels range from 249.9 to 652.1 mg/L, TSS levels range from 4.1 to 37.9 mg/L, pH values range from 6.7 to 6.8, DO concentrations range from 5 to 5.6 mg/L, nitrate concentrations range from 1.09 to 1.23 mg/L. The results of surfactant measurements in the water range from 3.6 to 7.8mg/L. The relationship between water quality parameters indicates a positive correlation or interdependence among them. Furthermore, high surfactant content in the water leads to a decline in water quality, thereby adversely affecting aquatic ecosystems.

The current covid-19 pandemic has killed tens of millions people. One way to avoid covid-19 is to keep a distance from each other. At at the same time, Indonesia actually held direct regional head elections in 270 regions, which required voters to come and gather at the polling station (TPS). This research was conducted to analyze the relationship between covid-19 and vote buying with voters participation in direct regional head elections in Indonesia, which was held on December 9, 2020. For the research approach, mixed methods both quantitative and qualitative descriptive were used. The quantitative method was carried out by distributing questionnaires directly to 139 polling stations in Sumenep Regency, East Java, during the regional head election. While the qualitative method is carried out by observing directly the conditions at the polling station (TPS). In addition, in-depth interviews with the election committee and voters were also conducted. The results of the study found that voter participation was very high even though the regional head election was held during the covid-19 pandemic. This high participation was apparently correlated with the widespread practice of vote buying carried out by the winning team for the two pairs of regional head candidates.

Penggunaan phonocardiogram (PCG) dalam mengekstraksi informasi-informasi secara elektronik membutuhkan analisis sinyal yang kompleks. Namun, PCG memiliki keunggulan bersifat non invasif dan hemat dibandingkan dengan electrocardiogram (EKG). Tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan sebuah perangkat klasifikasi untuk alat bantu diagnosis berdasarkan metode shorttime fourier transform (STFT) untuk ekstraksi fitur dan support vector machine (SVM) untuk klasifikasi. Kinerja sistem yang telah dirancang menggunakan dataset sekunder, dengan jumlah 2.141 sinyal PCG yang terdiri dari 1958 normal dan 183 abnormal. Pengujian kinerja menggunakan beberapa variasi rancangan, yaitu Hamming, Hanning, dan Blackman window pada STFT dan variasi kernel serta nilai C parameter pada SVM. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian variasi jenis window pada STFT, membuktikan bahwa nilai terbaik didapatkan oleh Hamming window dengan nilai sensitifitas 62.24%, spesitifitas 89.47%, area under ROC curve (AUC) 0.75, serta akurasi sebesar 65.62%. Hasil dari variasi C parameter sebesar 1000 pada proses klasifikasi mendapatkan hasil evaluasi kinerja terbaik pada masing-masing kernel, nilai AUC pada kernel linear sebesar 0.73, 0.78 pada kernel polynomial, dan 0.83 pada kernel radial basis function (RBF). Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa penggunaan Hamming window pada ekstraksi fitur dan nilai C parameter 1000, serta variasi kernel RBF pada klasifikasi sebagai bentuk model terbaik sistem PCG berbasis STFT dan SVM.

Plantae material is one of the materials that requires a direct observation process to determine the characteristics, morphology, metagenesis, and benefits for the environment, especially in Pteridophyte material. So far, students only use textbooks and students have not been invited to learn with contextual learning objects. Thus, media is needed to facilitate direct observation and identification of plants. The purpose of this research is to produce learning media Pteridophyte catarium (Catalog Herbarium). This type of research is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The results showed that the quality of the product according to media experts was very feasible with an assessment percentage of 77.08%, as well as according to material experts who said it was very feasible with a 95% rating percentage. The results of the teacher's response were 79.16% and the results of readability by students on a small and large scale respectively were 76.5% and 81.16%, indicating very decent quality. It was concluded that the product in the form of Pteridophyte catarium learning media was very suitable to be used as a teacher's learning media in plantae biology learning activities.

The existence of injustice and inequality in access to the development results of the city. Slum areas have become one of the problems that exist in urban life. This automatically occurs as a result of a normal process called urbanization and development. Where many residents end up occupying non-residential areas due to their limited access. Seeing from the perspective of the access theory, how people live in the area is a form of their right to be able to utilize natural resources. One of these uses is used as a place to live. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, by taking several samples as a source of interviews. The arrangement of the slum area is now moving to another dimension, which is no longer forced evictions, but how to organize and change the residential area to be habitable. There are several indicators used in seeing a residential area that is said to be unfit for habitation. Upgrading slum areas have been able to change areas that were previously unfit to be better and able to meet indicators of the feasibility of residential areas in general. This step is also how the community continues to strive to gain access to the area. Kampung Jodipan and Kampung Tridi have changed their appearance, and have improved the quality of their living environment, with tidier, cleaner, and more affordable access to public services. Apart from the results of this research, there are still some problems, one of which is the uncertainty of land rights, so that they will not know the future of the area they live in now. The guarantee of land ownership is important to fight for equal rights to state services, state recognition, and the right to live in the area.

The use of synthetic steroids of 17-Methytestosterone (MT) to produce a monosexual population of male Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) has been restricted because it can leave harmful residues in fish and the environment. One alternative that can be done is by using natural bioactive derived from plants with androgenic properties, such as Pasak Bumi (Eurycoma longifolia Jack). The aim of this research was to assay the use of methanol extract from Pasak bumi roots with immersion techniques for masculinization of tilapia. The research procedure was carried out with three treatment doses of methanol extract from the Pasak Bumi roots (namely 30, 60, and 90 mg/L), treatment dose amounted to 0 mg/L acted as a negative control and treatment of MT amounted to 50 mg/L acted as a positive control, with three replications on each treatment. Immersion was applied to larvae that was hatched out of egg yolk (seven day-old) for 24 hours and was maintained with a capacity of 50 larvae per aquarium during 60 days. The results showed that the treatment of the methanol extract of Pasak Bumi roots gave male sex ratios ranging from 72.66% - 76.33% higher than the negative control which showed the results of male sex ratios amounted to 49.19% and lower than the positive control of MT which the results amounted to 83.99%. The range of survival rate was from 80.67% - 85.33%, while the range of survival rate in the negative control was 83.33% and in positive control of MT was 82.67%. Thus, the methanol extract of Pasak Bumi roots can be used for masculinization of tilapia by immersion method with the best performance at a dose of 60 mg/L – 90 mg/L.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana Pemerintah Daerah administratif DAS Ciliwung mengintegrasikan kepentingan politik dalam mengelola DAS Ciliwung. Kebijakan antar daerah sering terjadi karena belum adanya peraturan yang melindungi DAS Ciliwung dari kepentingan- kepentingan politik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan tinjauan konseptual good environmental governance yang merupakan sebuah desain kebijakan tata kelola pemerintahan dalam mengkonservasi lingkungan. Serta melihat bagaimana kolaborasi tata kelola yang dipakai sebagai alat dalam konservasi DAS Ciliwung. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bentuk kerjasama pengelolaan DAS Ciliwung berupa pembagian peran antara pemerintah pusat, pemerintah daerah, sektor swasta, dan masyarakat. Pemerintah pusat memiliki peran untuk membuat kebijakan makro perencanaan pengelolaan DAS Ciliwung, sedangkan Pemerintah Daerah memiliki peran untuk mengimplementasikan kebijakan yang disusun oleh pemerintah pusat terkait pengelolaan DAS Ciliwung dan sektor swasta memiliki peran untuk mengelola lingkungan dengan melakukan kegiatan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Meskipun demikian, strategi tersebut belum berjalan optimal karena pemerintah kurang mengoptimalkan peran masyarakat dalam pengelolaan DAS Ciliwung.

Technology is playing an increasing role in education worldwide and is having a growing impact on the design and delivery of English language teaching. Teachers are expected to understand how to integrate technology into their teaching as well as know how to help learners make use of resources such as media and the internet to improve their learning of all four skills. As such technology offers both new challenges as well as new opportunities for both teachers and learners. This article investigates the use of Wattpad in language teaching and explores more from the perspective of teachers and students in the online classroom. It offers teachers and learners to vary the process of the teaching and learning processes by using technology-mediated teaching and learning. However, this study presents a mini research project on how the teacher of one school has used technology as a medium to teach the students in online classes recently due to COVID 19. Teachers and students should be collaborative so the process of teaching-learning able to run well. It will become a big challenge for the teacher to engage the students during the teaching process
