Objective Accurate short term passenger flow prediction is of great significance to improve the operation and management efficiency of the ultra-large scale of urban rail transit network. However, the current research on deep exploration of the spatio-temporal correlations is still insufficient. Therefore, according to the spatio-temporal law of short term passenger flow, a STGCN (spatio-temporal graph convolutional neural network) model based on spatio-temporal correlation characteristics of passenger flow is proposed. Method Firstly, the spatial correlation of ultra-large scale urban rail transit network is captured by ChebyNet （Chebyshev graph convolutional network）, and the temporal correlation of the passenger flow under multi-temporal correlation characteristics is explored with the help of GRU (gated recurrent unit). Secondly, the correlation of the historical passenger flow data of the station to be predicted and that of OD (origin-destination) passenger flow data are analyzed to extract the spatio-temporal correlation deeply. Finally, a STGCN model is established in combination with the spatio-temporal correlation characteristics of the passenger flow. Result & Conclusion Taking Jiangsu Road Station of Shanghai Metro Line as an example, a short-term inbound passenger flow prediction is conducted. The result shows that the prediction accuracy with spatio-temporal correlation characteristic parameters is 16% higher than that without the parameters, indicating a better prediction effect.

Objective Improving the service level to the passengers and ensuring safety are the core purpose of the facility layout and operation management of urban rail transit station. To design the station facility scientifically, the basic characteristics and patterns of the pedestrian following behavior need to be studied. Method Based on the pedestrian trajectory, a description model of pedestrian following behavior and its characteristic parameters are proposed, and a controllable experiment is designed to simulate the pedestrian following behavior in one way passage of the urban rail transit station. The pedestrian following trajectory is extracted from the collected video data, and the characteristics and patterns of the parameters such as pedestrian following speed difference, time interval, horizontal and longitudinal spacing are deeply analyzed when the following behavior occurs. The effects of the four factors i.e. pedestrian density, passage width, gender and familiarity to the environment on the pedestrian following behavior are studied. Result & Conclusion The lower the pedestrian density, the smaller the average following speed difference and the shorter the average following time distance. The passage width has no significant effect on the following behavior characteristic parameters. All the values of the characteristic parameters of the opposite sex are larger than those of the same sex. The values of the characteristic parameters of the pedestrians who are not familiar with the environment are more discrete than those familiar with the environment.

Objective: This study aimed to reduce the setting time of yogurt, improve the texture of yogurt and evaluate the effect of pea peptides on the quality of coagulated yogurt. Methods: Different amounts（0, 0.50%, 0.75%, 1.00%, 1.25%, 1.50%）of pea peptides were added into milk powder to prepare pea peptide yogurt, and then the setting time, titer acidity, and texture properties of the yogurt were investigated. Results: The results showed that when the amount of pea peptides added was less than or equal to 1.25%, the yogurt setting time could be significantly shortened. When the amount of pea peptide added was 1%, the effect was significant by shortening the coagulation time for 32 min. The addition of pea peptides significantly increased the acidity of yogurt. When the addition amount of pea peptides was less than 1%, the springiness and chewiness of the yogurt were significantly reduced, and the gumminess, cohesiveness, and resilience were significantly increased, which improved the textural properties of the yogurt. Conclusion: The addition of pea peptides to the yogurt fermentation substrate can shorten the fermentation period and enhance the quality of the final product.

The fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) gene plays an important role in the mechanism of glucose and lipid metabolism and is a promising therapeutic target for metabolic disease. Camels display a unique regulation characteristic of glucose and lipid metabolism, endowing them with the ability to adapt to survive drought and chronic hunger. However, the knowledge about the camel FGF21 gene regulation and its differences between humans and mice is still limited. In this study, camel FGF21 gene promoter was obtained for ~2000 bp upstream of the transcriptional start site (TSS). Bioinformatics analysis showed that the proximal promoter region sequences near the TSS between humans and camels have high similarity. Two potential core active regions are located in the −445–612 bp region. In addition, camel FGF21 promoter contains three CpG islands (CGIs), located in the −435~−1168 bp regions, significantly more and longer than in humans and mice. The transcription factor binding prediction showed that most transcription factors, including major functional transcription factors, are the same in different species although the binding site positions in the promoter are different. These results indicated that the signaling pathways involved in FGF21 gene transcription regulation are conservative in mammals. Truncated fragments recombinant vectors and luciferase reporter assay determined that camel FGF21 core promoter is located within the 800 bp region upstream of the TSS and an enhancer may exist between the −1000 and −2000 bp region. Combining molecular docking and in silico ADMET druggability prediction, two compounds were screened as the most promising candidate drugs specifically targeting FGF21. This study expanded the functions of these small molecules and provided a foundation for drug development targeting FGF21.

This article proposes a metamaterial-based temperature sensor with high sensitivity using the thermally tunable liquid metal of mercury. The response of the metamaterial at different temperatures is theoretically investigated. In the merit of the temperature-sensitive thermal expanding of the embedded mercury resonant structure, different absorption peak frequencies can be observed at different temperatures, which enables the proposed metamaterial capability of temperature sensing. The numerical simulations show that the temperature sensitivity of the proposed sensor can reach up to 27.64 MHz/°C within the range of 0–21.8°C. The calculated electric field and surface current distributions illustrate that the high sensitivity is originated from the dual-dipole mode of the resonant structure. Meanwhile, the dependence of the structural dimensions on temperature sensitivity is discussed to optimize the sensor design. The proposed strategy paves a new way for developing temperature sensors with high sensitivity.

Immortalized cell lines with many advantages are widely used in various experimental contexts by many different labs. However, the absence of available cell lines poses difficulties for research in some species, such as camels. To establish an immortalized Bactrian camel fibroblast (iBCF) cell line and understand its biological characteristics, primary fibroblast cells from Bactrian camels were isolated and purified using enzymatic digestion in this study, and telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) vectors were introduced into primary BCF (pBCF) for continuous passage to 80 generations after screening with G418. The cell morphology of different generations was examined under a microscope. Cell cycle and viability were evaluated by flow cytometry and CCK-8 assay, respectively. Cellular genes expression was monitored by qPCR, immunofluorescence, and Western blot, respectively. Chromosomes were determined by karyotyping. The results showed that like most other cells, both pBCF and iBCF were sensitive to nutrient concentrations and adapted to culture in the medium with 4.5 g/L glucose and 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) concentration. hTERT gene was introduced and stably expressed in iBCF cells, which promoted BCF cell immortalization. The fibroblast specific marker vimentin (VIM) is expressed in both pBCF and iBCF, but epithelial marker cytokeratin18 (CK18) expression is weak in BCF cells. Proliferation and viability detection showed that hTERT-induced iBCF exhibits faster growth rates and higher viability than pBCF. Karyotyping showed that iBCF maintained the same number and morphology of chromosomes as the pBCF. This study demonstrated that we have successfully constructed an immortalized Bactrian camel fibroblast cell line, which was named BCF23. The establishment of the BCF23 cell line provides a foundation for expanding camel-related research.

With the ability to survive under drought and chronic hunger, camels display a unique regulation characteristic of lipid metabolism. Fibroblast growth factor (FGF) 21 is a peptide hormone that regulates metabolic pathways, especially lipid metabolism, which was considered as a promising therapeutic target for metabolic diseases. To understand the FGF21 expression pattern and its potential relationship with lipid metabolism in camels, this study investigated the distribution and expression of FGF21, receptor FGFR1, and two lipid metabolism markers, leptin and hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL), using an immunohistochemistry (IHC) assay. The results showed that FGF21 was widely expressed in camel central nerve tissue and peripheral organs but absent in lung and gametogenic tissue, including the testis, epididymis, and ovary. In striated muscle, FGF21 is only present at the fiber junction. FGFR1 is expressed in almost all tissues and cells, indicating that all tissues are responsive to FGF21 and other FGF-mediated signals. Leptin and HSL are mainly located in metabolic and energy-consuming organs. In the CNS, leptin and HSL showed a similar expression pattern with FGFR1. In addition, leptin expression is extremely high in the bronchial epithelium, which may be due to its role in the immune responses of respiratory mucosa, in addition to fat stores and energy balance. This study found that FGF21 showed active expression in the nervous system of camels, which may be related to the adaptability of camels to arid environments and the specific regulation of lipid metabolism. This study showed a special FGF21-mediated fat conversion pattern in camels and provides a reference for developing a potential therapeutic method for fat metabolism disease.

Particulate matter (PM) pollutants have been considered serious threats to public health but effective removal of nanoscale particles (NPs) by filter materials is challenging. Here, the authors fabricate an ionic liquid based self-powered air filter that can be used in high-efficiency removal of PM, including NPs.

In the process of underbalance drilling,the rubber core of rotating control head is subject to the alternating cycle load,which is prone to fatigue failure.Firstly,the sealing principle of rotating control head is analyzed and the stress of rubber core in dynamic sealing process is obtained.Then,the Yeoh constitutive model in the deformation process was established by the tensile test of the rubber core material. Then ABAQUS software was used to establish the finite element model of the dynamic sealing of the rubber core,and the simulation of the sealing process of the rubber core during the drilling and the optimization analysis of the factors affecting the fatigue life of the sealing surface of the rubber core were carried out.In this paper,the inner diameter of rubber core is optimized,and the inner diameter size of rubber core should be matched with different outer diameter drill pipes is optimized.The paper also optimizes the lowering and lifting speed of drill pipe under different wellhead pressures.The higher the well pressure,the more likely the rubber core fatigue failure will be. The safe lowering and lifting speed of drill pipe under different pressures is obtained.At last,according to the Chinese standard,indoor seal test and field application test were carried out in the well control equipment quality supervision and inspection center of China national petroleum industry to confirm the reliability of finite element optimization,which is of great practical significance to improve the service life of rubber core and oilfield operation safety.

Abstract Background Diagnosis of urethral cavernous hemangioma (UCH) is very rare. It can be easy to misdiagnose and mistreat due to its atypical clinical manifestations and a lack of relevant knowledge. The study is to explore the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and treatment of UCH. Case presentation The first patient was a 15-year-old male, who was admitted to the hospital for more than 1 year with repeated hematuria. UCH was diagnosed by cystoscope biopsy, and cured with local injection of pingyangmycin. The second patient was a 49-year-old male, who was admitted for repeated painless gross hematuria and intermittent urethral bleeding after penile erection for more than 20 years. The case had been misdiagnosed as seminal vesiculitis, urethritis, or prostatitis, for over 20 years, until it was diagnosed as UCH by MR examination of the penis. It was treated by injection of pingyangmycin into the hemangioma’s lumen and base. A small incision in the ventral penile area was separated from the location of the hemangioma, which was injected with pingyangmycin again. A biopsy of resected tissue further confirmed the diagnosis of UCH. Conclusions UCH is an easily misdiagnosed disease. Intermittent painless hematuria is important characteristic of UCH. Local injection of pingyangmycin is a good option for treatment of UCH.

To improve product quality and osmotic efficiency, the effects of osmotic dehydration (OD) at 120 min and ultrasound-assisted osmotic dehydration (UOD) at 45 min on the nutrient composition, flavor, texture, microstructure, and water state in button mushrooms were investigated. In terms of nutrient composition, the results showed that UOD produced samples with reducing sugar, ascorbic acid, and soluble protein content at significantly higher rates than OD process. Meanwhile, UOD reduced the losses in titratable acidity, free amino acids, and 5′-nucleotides compared to the OD process, and the UOD samples also showed a better texture and microstructure. In addition, low-field nuclear magnetic resonance data revealed that the relative signal intensity of vacuole protons declined during OD process; meanwhile, the UOD was more efficient than the OD treatment. Overall, UOD process not only retained nutrient composition and flavor material more effectively but also improved the texture and efficiency of mushrooms treated with osmosis.

With truss deployable mesh parabolic reflector, the HJ-1-C SAR antenna has complex structure and multiple steps during the deployed processing. The design of the antenna is difficult in terms of deployed reliability and electrical performance. This paper makes intensive research on system, structure and electrical design, and the analysis of mechanical and thermal performance in the actual space conditions is also presented. The successful deploying in orbit and high image quality of the HJ-1-C satellite indicate that the mechanical, electronic, thermal and reliability design of the antenna satisfy the project requirement, and these research provides valuable experience for the design of the centralized mesh parabolic SAR antenna.
